Put it up going around so y'all can see, and it looks really good up in a ponytail. I think hey girlies, welcome back to the channel, i'm here with my first tape in install ever thanks to y wigs they've sent me three bundles of 24 inch, yaki straight tape, ins, natural color and i wasn't hesitant at all to try a yaki texture because of This atlanta heat, okay yaki, will give me a little wiggle room without having to finally press out my hair so much to keep it blended. With my go-to extension texture, which is brazilian hair and one thing about yaki texture, it does come with a natural crimp. So you can gauge whether this is something for you or not, by seeing how it looks while i'm playing in the hair, but this hair is super super soft. You guys i love it. I decided to dye it jet black, but overall, i'm so excited to show you guys how i installed this today, and so i will be talking to you guys through the process. So let's go zoom you guys in so y'all can basically see what's going on. I have all of this sectioned off. This is the area where all the tape ins are going to be placed. So basically you just want to pull these apart. So this part right here it kind of - is already lifting so we're basically trying to remove the white piece peeling it off. This is how it looks boo, yeah, i'm excited so here's one piece right and then now you're going to actually have to get your second piece prepared and i'm just going to try to press it out as much as possible just to get that little extra crimpy Crimp out the way, because we don't want that and we don't want to have to keep pressing that out while the taping is on our hair. So as you can see, this is the area that we're starting with, and you might think that i'm starting high. The reason why mine is all the way up here is because y'all know i'm working with finer hair, so i want to be able to still put my hair up and all that good stuff. I'M going to take a piece out with my finger and i don't think it has to be like super perfect. Let'S start with this much hair right and we just don't prank all right, you guys so, yes make sure you pray before you start this, especially if you are doing it on yourself, so i ended up taking a smaller section, because i did feel like this section Was a little bit too big to work with, because you do have to sandwich these pieces together, so your hair is going to be in between both of these little tape ends. So you want to sandwich them together and if you have too much hair, the adhesive on the tape ends won't be able to get through to the other half and it won't be able to stick together. So working with smaller sections will actually be your friend and make your life so much easier. All right. Another tip that i can say that i've learned while doing this on myself when doing tape. Ins, you want to work on freshly straightened hair. As you can see, my hair is swelling up because one is so damn hot in my house. While i was doing this and i really couldn't control it, because the box lights and the ring lights was all in my bathroom, so it was just making it super. Super hot in there so make sure you straighten your hair and then go straight in with your tape ends, if not, if you're working with natural hair and it swells up on you, it's going to be so annoying and then you're going to have to re-press your Hair out now, i'm making it look easy because of how i edit this video. But you guys it was a struggle okay. So it was super hard for me to actually show you guys what i was doing and seeing what i'm doing, because i was basically trying to record and make sure you can see at least something um. What i will say to you is towards the back half. I was placing the tape ends quite high up on my hair. Later on. In this video, you will be seeing me go a little bit further down and that's just because i know my hair type and how fine my hair is. So i was going a little bit lower with placement towards the top half of my hair, because i wanted to make sure if i put my hair up in a ponytail any type of ponytail. I wouldn't be able to see that clear piece of tape in a lot of the videos that i have watched. I do see some tape ins being a little bit too visible for my liking. So i kind of like looked at those videos and some of my clips on reels for reference and guidance. While i was doing my tape ins because i didn't want to have to do too much of removing and replacing and things like that and watching those videos, it kind of helped me see where i wanted to place my tracks. So it wouldn't happen to me. So you know i had a little method to my madness, so hopefully you see what i'm saying and you kind of like try it. If you want to do this on yourself and it works for you, so it's pretty repetitive you're going to be doing this. Quite often, okay, until you get towards the sides and you're going to end up kind of turning your wefts just a little bit. So the reason why you want to have some type of slant to this part of your tape in or this part, this section of your hair is because this is where you naturally throw your hair up in a ponytail. I don't care what style you're trying to do a super high ponytail, a mid-way ponytail, a low ponytail. You want some kind of flexibility in this area, because this is where that movement starts. If you put anything too straight in this area, it will cause tension and it can prevent you from putting your hair up in a comfortable ponytail, whether it's high low. Keep that in mind when you are working with this much section. I know i got to be right now cause i can't get much longer man. I'Ve been waiting. All night act like take this. My hair is just super like freshly washed, you guys, so it's not super tame right. Now it's having a mind of its own and i don't really care for like having like super like gel down baby hair when my hair is freshly washed. So it's just giving this for the moment because i'm about to go in the kitchen and cook me something to eat. This is what it looks like all the way up. I think it still looks good if i do say so much stuff. These are the sides. They'Re still looking natural, if i want this in the future, i will be going. I will be going to a salon or trying to get my cousin to do it and i'll just let her watch this video, so she can get so she can get the gist of everything. So this is basically what it looks like up in a high ponytail. It'S giving that hair is fire. Quality is fire very nice, full sturdy, non-shedding tape. Ins do, i feel, like this style, is a style that you do for yourself like it's just too much like it's too much i have i was struggling. I don't have 20 20 vision. You know your girl needs contacts, glasses, something i do have my glasses, but y'all know how it is about those glasses anyway, like it's just a lot to do for self, and if you have somebody that knows how to do this, i would say if you do Anything with this video is take away. My leave out method like how i left the hair out my nose zones where i started placing the tape ins and how i didn't go in any of these areas right here, because we want to keep these areas as long as possible, because we're only getting older And we don't want to cause any damage to these areas, and you know have less tension up here as much as possible because you want to be super super versatile with this. Look if you can be, but definitely take that away from this video, and i will say that i have experience with taking some out, so i do know that i will probably do that same method, which is just use a super deep moisture mask a super deep Moisturizing mask put a shower cap on and just get some steam all up in there and let them slide out like that, probably leave the deep moisture mask in there, probably for like maybe 45 minutes, so it's easier for you to pull them apart. You know i wouldn't tug them and like try to pull them all the way down. I feel like that would be too crazy and too harsh for your real hair, but um, you know i'll, let you know how i feel about this style for longevity. I am in atlanta and trying to have my hair pressed out and in a style like this, is going to be very sketchy. I have this much left by the way, so i feel like that's a good amount. I did use two bundles of tape ends and that's pretty much all of the last one if you are just trying to at least do the styling yourself for some fun or just practice on somebody. I definitely say check out why wigs they have great deals on their sites and use code listed below to get a little discount off. I love you guys so much and make sure you thumbs up comment subscribe and let me know how you feel about these tape. Ins, let me know like, let me know, did i do a good job? Should i just go to the salon thumbs up this video for me completing the style at least i love you guys and don't forget to subscribe, also join the family, and i will catch you guys in my next one. Bye, y'all

Von Roe: I’ve been going back n forth on getting tape ins. But you’ve convinced me I need to just do em myself! They look amazing on you ❤️

Ivette Burgos: Tip : As she mentioned it’s also better to flat iron/ style your tap ins before putting them on to prevent any more heat on your natural hair since it’s still “sandwiched in” but that also depends on the style. & You did great, I love the high ponytail!

New Account, Who Dis'?: When you have it parted, start with the top tape in. It will grab what it needs when you lift it up. It gets much easier the more you do it. They look great! Oh, and seal the tape with a quick hit of the straightener to ensure it holds.

Shy Shy: I think it came out very nicely regardless I was thinking of doing my own but I sweat a lot and don’t want to press my hair multiple times a day

Briana K.: How many tape ins did you use to be exact? Or how many are needed for a full head ? You did amazing by the way definitely influenced me to give it a try

RissasoPurddy: You be coming through with the videos ❤️ You have done several styles I have to attempt.

Lace Mitchell: This was beautifully done. I had fusion extenstions and I loved them except for when I had to wash my hair. Shit was so hard but I would love to get them again.

Lady Doc: You did phenomenal! I love the natural look! Beautiful!

MissJillianD’Nae: Ion know bout y'all, but l was waiting on my good sis okay! Now l can finally install my own tape-ins DING DING

This product control frizz and protects against humidity! I live in Houston Texas and this weather will not let you be great with a silk press ! I think you should try this product see if it works! HOLLY JAI: Taty! You’re my go to because of my own soft and fine fluffy hair so thank you for confirming that I should go with the yaki vs the kinky straight. Also love the placement advice!

Danuta Morgan: Fresh, no slicking down edge foolishness, natural looking, love it! Will try the afro ones as too much heat is long term damage.

EVANS: I'm an older woman. The tape ins are a no go for me. There is glue on the tape. That is going backwards to when we would glue our wefts in. The glue caused hair loss

lismojamm: Sis, you did a look- great detail and angles!

Channon M. Young: My hair is super fine too! So happy I found your channel ❤️

Nail Mechanic: This is literally how long my natural hair is so this shocks me it look so real

Marry Talley: Love this but I do have a question….how do you’ll thin hair girls prevent your edges from thinning too. I want to help my edges too. Thanks to all who has answers

Sylvia Mcgee: Does the tape break your hair off especially by being thin

Perry Rice: I love this method I seen a woman on YouTube make her own. I like the fact her West were longer. Because these things can be pricey. What is it like 2 in wide. And I also want to know how .can you take this out of your hair. Do you use glue remover.‍♀️
