What'S up beautiful people, it's you guys and i alia and welcome back to my channel. So in today's video, as you can see by the title and by the thumbnail, i am going to be showing y'all how to remove and re-install these taping extensions and so just to go ahead and give y'all like the supplies or whatever that you're going to need. For removing and reinstalling first things first in order to remove you have to have this stuff, and so this is the c22 solvent and the brand is called walker tape, and so literally i've used this before and when you spray it on the tape, the tape and Extensions, it literally slides right off and a lot of people are worried about it, like breaking your hair when it's time to come off honestly, i would not even pull until it was time to like until i already felt this slipping basically, so, if you don't feel It sliding off, then you may need to spray a little more, but i'll show y'all exactly how to do that and then for reinstalling, depending on where you buy your tape and extensions, they may or may not come with replacement strips, but i actually the last time I bought some, i bought some replacement strips, and so these are going to be what i'm using to reinstall the extensions and so i'll try to link both of these products down below and without further ado, let's get into the video okay. So first things. First, what i'm gon na do, because i'm not taking all of them out - i'm probably just gon na take like one or two out that i'm gon na move around, and so i'm gon na show you guys how to do that, and so basically what i'm gon Na do is i'm gon na remove this one right here, so you guys can see, and i want to move this one a little farther back and so because this stuff is meant to like remove the strongest of adhesives. I don't want it to get all over. Like my other extensions and remove them, so i'm going to try to like keep this separate and i'm going to try to pin my hair my other hair up separate as well, and so i have some clips to separate the rest of my hair and then second, If you guys watched the tutorial video, i had these velcro, these velcro strips or whatever that they use for hair, don't pull out your hair either, and so with these i'm gon na put these only because i'm not trying to get it on other ones. I'M gon na put these like on top of any extra hair that i don't kind of want to get in the way. Okay, and so this is how it looks y'all, and so let me go ahead and take off like the wrapping paper of this and stuff, and so literally, what you have to do now is get this spray and spray it right on the extension and so yeah. I say you can spray it on the top and the bottom just to make sure you know, got it in there good and so just continue to do that, and maybe wait a little bit to see if it loosens up, but what you could also do. If you wanted to kind of go by a little faster, is kind of see like use. Your nail and try to get in between, for example, use a comb and try to split down the middle of the tape in around the part where your hair is sandwiched. And spray in between there and that'll also help this go by a lot faster and so just make sure you get this extension saturated with the spray and don't worry about it too much getting on like your hair or the extension, because it literally goes away with Soap and water, like you, can literally just wipe this way with soap and water, so yeah, and so i'm probably gon na. Let that sit for a couple more minutes and then we'll come back when it's ready to slide off. And if you watch my tutorial, where i mentioned basically try to make sure you have a good amount of hair between the tape ends, because if you don't, it will be more taped in hair and essentially it'll take longer to remove. This is one of those pieces. So usually they don't take that long to remove. But if you do have more adhesive than you have hair between the tape ends, then it will take a little longer, okay, y'all, and so after it's been on for just a little bit, you can already kind of feel it like once you're able to at least Like place a finger or something in the middle of both tape ends, then you should go in with a little more spray and then this time make sure you're spraying in between, like the gap, that's the main key here once it starts like loosening up like slipping Up do not try to force them apart or pull them or you know, rip them off, because that essentially is going to rip your hair. So you have to be patient. If you care about your hair, you need to be patient and give these things time to slip off. It does not take that long. To be honest, especially, i would recommend um getting at least two of these, because i know me, i don't want my hair to break off or anything like that. So i'm very, very generous on like each of these things when i'm taking the tape ends off. So i recommend getting two, maybe three if you want to honestly, but i think definitely two is enough, and so i just i feel it loosening up even more, but i'm gon na still go into the middle and spray okay, and so now i'm gon na use. My comb and try to see if i can go down the middle and so as y'all can see. I can literally go down like a good part up there, but i can feel that part of the tape in like i can't really move on this side, meaning this side has not really loosened up, but because the rest of this has i'm gon na open it Up just a little bit, i'm not gon na pull, i'm not about to pull on. What'S not opening up and i'm just gon na spray, some more in that area, and so we're just going to wait on that part to open up okay and so now we're at the point where about 75 of this extension is like off, and so what i'm Going to do is i have it kind of sorry. I have it kind of split between my two fingers, so i have it like open and i'm going to spray like some spray in the middle and i'm literally just gon na kind of massage like that spray. On that part, until it opens up - and i'm being very gentle with this just in case, it needs more spray, or you know just to be wary that i'm like just to make sure i'm not pulling on my hair. And so, if you feel like it, ain't budging and you need more spray, just spray a little more and make sure you're trying to spray like right in the middle, because that's really like, where we're aiming for all right and so now that it's open as y'all Can see literally it slides right off and if y'all look at it literally, none of my hair is on there at all, and this was a very like this was probably the thinnest piece that i had inside of a tape and extension and not one strand of Hair is inside of it so the game. Here i got oil on my shirt, but the game here is definitely patience and typically, when you have more hair like between the tape and extension, it won't take long. But this one definitely took long because it was mostly tape and not as much hair. And so that's how you guys remove it, and so hopefully that helped yell out and you'll be able to do this for yourselves. But now i'm going to go ahead and show you guys how to re-install it. Okay y'all! So i went ahead and took off the velcro strips oh, my hold on that were around the piece that i just removed, and so basically i know y'all saw that i had. I got all this oil and stuff on my shirt, and so, if you're worried about having to mess up your silk press or like mess up, you know your straight hair or whatever to go. Wash the oil out literally get dry shampoo, like literally get this dry shampoo, and i usually do not use this on my hair. But this is like the perfect timing for me to finally use it, and so i kind of sprayed a little bit off camera and my hair was like super duper oily. But what i went i went through and kind of wiped it. You can use a t-shirt because don't use like a cotton towel or like a bath towel because breakage or whatever, but if you have a lot of oil on your hair, use a t-shirt to kind of get oil off first and then use the dry shampoo. And i like to spray from a distance literally just like this and yeah, it turns white, it turns white, but literally go back through with that same t-shirt and it's literally dry. So it's not like, as you can see, my hair is not getting frizzy or anything like that. Yeah go back through with the t-shirt and white and y'all are gon na, feel and notice that there's no more oil or anything on your hair and your hair still feels very lightweight and, more importantly, your hair is still straight, and so i'm gon na try to See if that's gon na work on these taping extensions off camera and i'll come back and show you all the whole reinstallation process, okay, y'all! So as y'all can see, the dry shampoo came through very clutch. I know it may look a little wet, but it's not um, and so basically, this is how the tape, in extension or like the tape part, looks right now and i guess y'all can't really tell by just looking at it, but that is not going to stick Whatsoever, which is why i have these little um replacement strips right here, and so what i'm going to do is i'm going to open these and i'm going to take out two because for every little tape in bundle or whatever or tape in set that you use. You have to have two strips in order for it to stick together, and so i believe this pack that i ordered comes with comes with 80 of these strips, and so this is what it looks like when i take it out of the package y'all. Please do not talk about my nails, um, my sister finna redo them tomorrow, i'm a hot one, so each package comes looking like this, and so basically what we have to do is take one little strip off right and kind of be careful. Ooh. These things sticky, and so this is how it looks when i take it off, and so it's kind of not rocket science, but i'm literally just going to place this replacement strip onto oh. My nail is exposing me right now or into this like part right here and so a lot of being bada-boom and literally just stick it on there, and so there we have our first replacement strip and i'm going to do the same thing on the other, one That i removed and then from there i'm going to reinstall it into a different spot on my head, oh yeah, and this is also the way that you can reuse them. So if you ever do tape, extensions and then you take them out, you can just wash these bundles literally get your hairstyles or you put on replacement strips and reinstall them, and so now i'm going to go through with the reinstallation. Let me fix my mirror, and so i like it's not oily, so i can't remember exactly where i had it. But when i put up my ponytail and when i wear my hair down, i want it to be somewhere around like here, and the thing that that's most important to me is one it being able to blend in with my hair like going down and also it Being able to accurately fold up - and so if you guys didn't notice in a tutorial when i do the um ones around the front, i like to do them at kind of an angle. So that way it's like this and it can easily fold up into a ponytail, because, if not, if you do it sideways, like literally just flat horizontal only ponytail you can do is straight up which is not giving what it's supposed to get. And so i'm going to kind of go a little closer to the mid section of my head this time and that'll, hopefully give me a little more coverage, yeah, and so i'm literally gon na use this piece right here. That'S where i'm gon na put the tape, in extension at on this piece, which is not too close to the piece behind it and not too close to my edges. This is where my bellco strips come in, and i love these things. They use them at barber. Shops, i got mine up amazon i'll, try to put the link in the description box, but if it's not there, somebody please remind me, and so now, i'm basically just going to go through the exact same way that i installed the tape and extensions. But as y'all can see, my part is at an angle which is probably fine, because when it falls it's going to fall right here and then, when i pull it up, it's just going to go straight up, and i also already have this layered. So i'm going to this is obviously going to be the top one, because y'all can see the layering, and so here's the bottom one right here and so i'm going to remove the little cover strip cover, adhesive and then also. The main thing here is: when you have tape and extensions, they should not be tight whatsoever or even feel like uncomfortable and so also a good key or a good tip for avoiding breakage. Do not put them so close to your scalp because, like we saw i'm going to be throwing my hair into a ponytail half up half down like bun whatever, and if i can't freely move my hair up and down. Then, of course, my hair is going to have to break each and every time i do that. So with that being said, when you're doing these try not to put them too close to your scalp or close to your scalp at all. I know when i was doing mine. I couldn't really see certain parts of my head, so i tried my best, but if you do feel it just go back and remove it and you know redo it so, okay, and so, as you can see, i went through to make sure i cleaned that part Up nice and neat, and so now i'm gon na go and apply this second strip, and i just like to make sure i'm pressing it to make sure it's really really in there and so now. This is how it looks when i lift it up with this piece so much better, and so i have a couple more that i want to fix around my head, but i'll show you guys the complete end result after i've moved them all that i want to Move and yeah all right y'all. So i'm just back to close out this video. I went ahead and moved some around, so some of the tape ends are a little more visible around. Like my perimeter, i move them around, but anyways y'all. Hopefully, this video was very very clear for y'all and y'all are able to get y'all. Taping extensions out once again. Remember do not pull if it feels forced do not do it, but other than that. If y'all have any questions, feel free to dm me, reach out to me on instagram or just leave a comment down below and i'll get back to you, but you already know: click smash smack the subscribe button down below and i will see y'all on my next Video wow

annifo: One idea could be to spray each piece first, starting on the sides. And then after your entire head is sprayed, let the remover work, so go vacuum or something lol. Then come back, start at the bottom and remove them one a a time, spraying more as needed. And then by the time you get back up to the front, they will have sat for a little bit and they could come out relatively easy.
