Natural Hair Extensions For Black People?! | Trying Out Her Given Hair 4B/4C Kinky Clip Ins

Hey guys it's joy and today's video I was kind of iffy about doing um. I know I'm natural, all natural, all about growing that light, but today I'm seeing myself I'm still myself, because a company called her given hair reached out to me and they're like hey. We are a natural hair, keke extension company. I was like wait right extensions aren't made for me, but, like I thought that, like black people didn't like, you could have been that true had to get a week like, but they told me they're, like nah girl, like we got inches, we got kinky curly coily. Whatever you need I was like, but I'm like four or B mix, like you ain't got that right. Here'S that the curly! No, no! I know we got kinky, so I was like okay. I need to try this product out, because I know my subscribers would be down for this and you could kind of see in this video when I install them some style. You got somewhere with me and, of course, links to purchase these really cool hair extensions that I think we're good, I'm wearing them right now, if notice, didn't notice, yeah and my hair just for the windows are her driven hair website. They have three options for you guys to purchase your hair, so they have the curly, coily and kinky, and you can get the sample kit to match your hair. So I got the kinky just because I knew I was not for a 3c or whatever I was in 3c. I was definitely 4b 4c. So that's what I got for my hair. I got the kink gay and I got the 20 inch from the 22 inch. So you'll see in the video actually don't use all of them. My hair, currently I'm just wearing 3 bundles of the 20 inch, because my hair is already big, as you guys know from my previous videos, if there is not as big you're going to want to use the whole pack, some people use multiple packs um. If I'm going to like a festival, I feel like these are great for festivals, where you just can be extra I'll. Try the 22 and just get like a huge fro and I'll probably do another tutorial with these, because I do really like the hair and on you to hair, like I don't you don't like you haven't seen me have a tutorial with like we would anything. So I'm new to hair and these are cooking and they are so easy to install, which I really liked so taking hair out was easy for someone who has never done anything like that, and I kind of just kind of went with the length of my hair Was so like 20 inches about the length of my hair, more or less, and I got 20, which is a little bit longer because I know my shrinkage is real, so let's get through the process of getting this hair in your head. So you know when I post to youtube so let's get into the so once you take your hair out of the packaging and have to be prepped before you can actually wear it. So I just did a quick co-wash on the hair. I rinsed it got it. Nice and wet and then but some of my as I am leaving conditioner on it and then once I put that conditioner in i raked through the hair detangled with my fingers and then with a comb. They recommend that you use a comb or a tangle teezer or a Denman brush, but I was good with just my fingers and a wide toothed comb and there was a little bit of shedding on the hair and I'll show you all of the shedding. At the end of this clip, but that's normal when you get hair, they warned me about it. So just be aware, if you do get this hair and you're detangling, but it was fairly easy to detangle, especially after I got that conditioner in there, and this is how I did all of the wefts. I was working with the 20 inch here and I just did one pack so when the hair gets to you and you take it out of the packaging before washing, it does feel kind of stiff in a sense, but it's still pretty soft. But after you wash the hair, it gets super soft and I just put the hair on some hangers and let it dry overnight, and then I did a braid out and so to kind of match. My hair and stretch out my hair before putting the clippings end. So here I'm taking out my braid out and then I start to separate the curls a little bit. I just put my hair up, so I could work with the back, and so I separated the back curls and then I get the longest hair wefts, which goes in the back. It stretches across the whole back and you get the clips ready. The clips there's enough. It will stay secure in your hair. You'Re not going to be walking around with your hair flying out, you'll be good. So, as you can see it blended fairly. Well, I'm I say definitely mess around with it. You can try twist outs with me. You can try braid outs with the hair in your hair to better blend it. I really just wanted to get a first impression of what I could do without doing the most. So I put that first piece in and I only put in three out of the six pieces that are in the pack, so the pack comes with six pieces. You have one that's pretty long and you have three medium sized in like two smaller ones. So I did a long, a medium and another medium, and so, as you can see, I'm starting to blend it out, I kept the top completely my hair and just put some pieces in the middle, so I worked with it blended it, and this is kind of What I got to before, I blended it more after I finished filming this clip, so the color was a good match. My hair is not completely black, it has a pretty dark brown, so I was pretty excited about that as you can see. So let's talk about how you can style the hair, so I'm just going to show you one simple style, just a topknot bun with the rest of your hair out. So you just take some pieces and you twist it and then you do a bantu knot and then I took two pieces of the smaller hair that I did not use and then I clip that to the bantu knot. Actually so the one I put in from the back and then I twisted the hair around and then the second one I tied from the front and wrapped it around yeah. So you can mess around with this style. If you did multiple buns, if you did two buns in your hair, we did just one huge bun. You can do it all really, this hair, I'm pretty sure you can blow-dry straight in color, so mess around with it. Actually, if you're, not someone who uses heat on your hair or colors, your hair try to do stuff with this her given here. Lastly, let's talk about how you care for your hair at night. Her given hair also has a set and hair cap, which is huge. It fits all of your hair and it is pretty comfortable to wear actually and has a drawstring at the top, so you can close up your hair and that's basically it so.
