Easy High Ponytail Tutorial W/ Melanj Hair Clip In Extensions -- Protective Styling

I'M gon na be showing you guys, a quick style that I do when I'm like between wash days or. If I want to do something. That'S right, cute, but still kind of casual. I'M gon na take these braids out that I've been wearing for a couple of days and just go over it with my hair dryer on low to kind of loosen up the waves that it's already in it now, I'm gon na take the hair around my perimeter And just lightly straighten it if you've seen any of my videos, you know that I'm not really one for my hair being like too too perfect, so the key to this is it doesn't have to be perfectly straight or anything. What I do want it to be. Smooth out a little bit fingers I'm just gon na, take my hair and put it into a high ponytail. So I'm just using my fingers, because I want the ponytail to be kind of textured and a little bit messy. So once I have it in the ponytail, I'm gon na go ahead and put my hair in a braid, I'm just gon na tighten it up a little bit and pull the hair at the roots. I'M gon na be using these textured clip in hair extensions. You guys almost killed me last time because I did not give the details about the hair. The reason is because this hairline is not out yet I'm actually testing it, and I still want to be able to film for you guys. I will put the information that I have down below in the description box and you guys will just have to stay tuned and see when it's actually available to purchase. But anyway, I'm gon na go ahead and go in with this set of clippings straighten it out. A little bit just to loosen up the texture measure it on my ponytail to see where I want it to fall, and then I'm gon na wrap the hair around the braid and clip it in now. This is the first time I've actually done this style and if I did it again, I would actually loop my ponytail down some if you'd notice, I didn't start at the bottom, because the hair would have been too long. So if I was doing it again, I would fold my ponytail in half. So it's not like this long braid hanging out in the middle that probably used about six wets and I'm gon na go around working. My way, all the way up to the ponytail holder and wrapping the hair around and clipping it in as I go, then I'm gon na take a piece of hair from the bottom of the ponytail and just wrap it around the base of the ponytail. To give it a nice cute, look and secure with the bobby pin it's about this moment. Where I started feeling myself, I thought I was cute girl. I thought I was cute okay enough of that. So now I'm gon na go in with my one and a half inch wand and put some waves in the ponytail, because I do want it to have a little bit more texture to it and I'm just gon na wrap some forward and some backwards just so. It can be like a nice and messy pony now, with the comb gon na, go in and tease it and fluff it a little bit just to get even more texture in the ponytail. As I was playing around with it, I thought it was really cute to have it on the side, so I kind of repositioned it again. This is something that, if I was actually planning, I would have started over and put it from on the side from the beginning, but that's that this is the final look. I hope you guys enjoy it.
