The hair used in this video is called "Aurora Black Series Professional 100% Remy Human Hair"

YES, I have finally made this video. Hope you like it.

Camera used in the video: Canon t3i

Hey guys, it is me I am back and I promised I was going to this video in the month of November. I know I'm kind of cheating because the last day of November, but is better late than never right so um. You can see the background. The background is um this you remember the last time you saw that background. I was doing my equipment extensions, so guess what I'm doing that again today today I am doing the clip-in extensions in a ponytail. I know everybody's been asking me for this. For like a year last time, I did the clip and extension video was like June of a lettuce was like a year and a half, I'm so sorry you guys, but I was just scared, because I felt that I couldn't I couldn't record it like. It was weird like I could. I know how to do it, but I didn't feel that I can get it on camera. The way I wanted to so I hope this is good for you guys and if you notice my hair looks a little darker is because I colored it um, I didn't put it permanent in there. I put a rinse and I'll insert the picture right now. Hi, I'm put a wrench in, I put a rinse in my hair, as well as the extensions to get it to match a little bit, but it's my hair still fighting that color. It'S still fighting you can see where my hair is. I don't know what it is. I dyed my hair a year ago, this light blonde color come on like orange and ever since my hair is not want to get away from that color, so I try to make it as realistic as possible. As far as my color, so if it doesn't look realistic as far as color blending, just ignore that part also, I flat iron, my hair, let me get my flat iron right here, and this is by Coriolis. I cannot pronounce the name of that and it's titanium. So it looks like a mirror. Oh my gosh, this flat iron is the bomb. I love it. If you want me to do a review on it, I will this is the bomb I'm never going to any of the flat iron to my life? No, no! The plan, unless, if that breaks a little go, buy another one with the same one. I don't get any any heat dead, one you got ta get you damaged, but I don't get any excessive heat damage so um, but I'm rambling. So if you guys want to see how I do this clipping extensions in ponytail Indian, Thank You pump watching bye guys enjoy the video hope you liked it thumbs it up and don't thumb to down. Please I'm being stupid, bye what you're going to need to get started. You are going to need a white tip comb and that's just for detangling, I'm going to need a rat tail comb and that's for parting. You need a brush for smoothing down your hair you're, going to need a few clips for clipping out for clipping up your hair out of the way. While you put the equipment, extensions and then you got ta need the last day and last but definitely not least, the most important things you need them here, and this is all the hands I'm going to put in my head - and you guys remember this from my Clip, in extension, video I was just thinking - I had a gray shirt on then I got a great shirt on today. I guess I like great chairs, so we're gon na get started. Ignore my nail polish. I never have time to paint my nails. It'S crazy, okay, because every time I paint my nails I have something to do. I touch it and gets messed up. So just ignore my nails. Okay, okay! So the first thing we're going to do is we're going to measure we're going to part so um I'm going to go up in the middle of my ear, so he says: I'm gon na take this I'm gon na go and see. I can see I'm doing. Okay, go go in the middle and it doesn't have to be perfect now. The way I do um X clip ends with a ponytail. I don't braid it because you want to be really smooth and I don't get tangles when it's in a ponytail because all the hairs in a point. So it's not moving around so it doesn't get tangled okay. But when I wear my hair down, I put braids in because it'll be a whole tangled mess. So then just comb this out! Okay, now that you have that - and I don't want to make this video too long for you guys - but I don't want to leave anything out - so I'm going to use this right here - a small one, unclip this and now we're closing upside down. Normally you would clip like this. You know you cook down like that and a lot of people ask me: why don't you just clip your hair in and don't braid it? Let me show you why, if I just click my hair in here part of clip art clip out braiding, my hair underneath right here, we'll be rubbing on my shirt all day and that wouldn't happen here. Why and hide it because it's a protective style. You know. Okay, here we go so now, I'm going to put this upside down so instead of coming like this, we're going to turn it and have the hair facing the ceiling and you're going to put this like this and you're going to clip right here. Hope you guys can see it. You see that you look like just like that hope that makes sense to you. Okay, let that hair hang take the clips down and I'm just going to brush over here going up - and I hope you guys can see this good. This is I'm gon na awkward position on my hair, like that, like my head upside down, so hope you guys can see so now. The next spot is above the ear and, like I said before, you don't have to UM make the parts perfect. Okay, oops, okay, the clip does usually I don't clip out of the way cuz. I just go quickly. I just do it, but I want you guys to see it. Okay, the next one is this one: okay, we have this, take the clips and put them upside down like so now, once you're going up, you can do separate clips for ponytails, because you see how long this is - and this is meant to come close to your Edges, but you don't want the clip to come that close, so I'm going to cheat a little bit, I'm going to bend it like to like push more in. If the F, I can explain it good for you guys, and do it like that. So I have a little bit of this bunch right here. You don't have to have that if you measure, if you measure enough hair for if you have like a separate stash for cloning, a pony tail like if you have your own set for a pony tail that have shorter tracks and if you have longer tracks for When you wear it down, but I don't do the X, I don't wear extensions everyday. I don't wear it that often to actually do that. So I just play with what I have but you're not going to see. They see how this is like, like that. You'Re not going to see that in a ponytail okay, so then we're going to bring this down and now our next spot is. Let'S see it did above the ear. So we're going to go like right here right near the eyebrow, is almost like the same, sometimes like the same measurements that it was when I did my other clip in extension, video. So it's nothing different anything different is I'm not putting braids in and I'm clipping them upside down? Okay, so this is going to be the third track. I bring all this down, okay, so the third track making a mess, I'm making the mask. So this where's the third track. Okay, and I always do the middle one first, so I always click the middle one in to make sure it's in the center. Remember if you go all over here, it's going to be in your edges and you're going to see it when you put in a ponytail, so I have to cheat and I have to bring it back right there. It like I said before, if you make separate clips for yourself, you don't have to cheat because it may come short, so I have to make mine short, so you get this little bunch, but promise you're not going to see and I can see nor feel that We put in pointy tail or whatever you do, don't bring the clip so close to your face. They have to be basically in the center of your head, then the next one for right here now that we're getting close to the top. This is when you're going to change direction on how you put the clip ends: okay, so now they run the next one hook that right there. Okay, now that we're onto the next one we're going to clip it the regular way, because all this hair is going up, we've been a ponytail, but the top right here is coming back when you get into a ponytail. So now we're going to take like the last two tracks and put them regular put this right here. Did I can open up Kim didn't even open it? Okay then put this here clip and once again, don't bring it close to your face. I'M going to put like this, the other one and when I do this technique, I never get Maddie. My hair never gets tangled or matted in there because it's the ponytail holders, keeping all the hair in place, I'm gon na do the top here you guys I am working with no mirror, I'm just using the viewfinder and the camera, the camera. So you have this and I'm just gon na take my bangs out or what I have some things who's gon na put that right there, okay make sure you have enough here to cover okay. So now here we go so now we're going to do the very last one, just a little tiny one. Oh yeah, I didn't even Flatiron this right, this one's going, the wrong direction. It'S so still look all that's going look funny, and so is this one cuz. I curled them in the wrong direction, but let's see how that's going to love and if it comes out looking funny I'll, just read: curl them while they're in my head, so we will see okay, click that way and put that one. Now, let's push this hair back, okay! Now it's the moment of truth! I had to go, get a mirror, so I can see this now. It'S the moment of truth to see if everything is covered, Ania, I'm gon na curl it KC. Oh those are sticking out. I'M gon na curl it once it's in my head, I mean once I have it up. Okay, so now we're gon na flip my head out, and this is where you can use your brush. Okay, okay, you see that track. Now, let's just there we go. Let me show you guys: women do ok, so now we're going to get our up and pull this back slap tied it off. Okay, let's put the poor, tailor there, pull it. Oh okay, then, as you guys know, we're still working on my edges, because I was bad to them. So pretty much the ponytail is done. You can fluff it up. You can curl it I'm going to take this out, so I may not curl it. If you want to see so make sure there's no tracks only so, let's see no tracks no tracks and you want to have a little short like if you, if you have, if your hair is shorter than your weave, which obviously is probably going to be shorter. You want to have a layered look, because you don't want to have a long horse tail looking for new tail and then you have to your real hair just peeking through, so you want the hair to gradually go and layer. So it looks more real. You don't want to get you don't want to put a whole bunch of we, that's all I say or 18 inches and then your hair is a gradient up. No, that's Mike, I'm afraid make it look realistic, but that is it. I hope this was good. Like people been asking me to do this, video for like a year and I've been putting it off and putting off because I felt like I couldn't deliver what I wanted to deliver, because I feel like it's hard to show my head flipped upside down and for You guys to see anything but um. Let me get close you guys to see. I did as smooth as possible without putting too much tension on my hair, hey. Let'S do this side see I'm losing a lot of hair right there in my edges, so don't be putting my hair in a ponytail that often um this is it you guys could play with how you want the frontier to look. You can put it off back. You put whatever you want to do. I got my little pony a pony day. Okay, so um, that's the ponytail clip-on extensions, but thank you guys so much for requesting this video and I love you guys. I see in the next video you you, you, you you you you you, ah hey guys. It is now almost 718 again what is 7:19 p.m. so exactly 12 hours from when I first started video, and I just wanted to show you because I went to work and I picked it up today, so I just want to see. I wanted to show you guys what it looks like in a bun, so you can see, I put it in a bun. You guys see, you can see see is in a bun. This is how I wore it today. Cuz I couldn't be having that horse tail swinging all around all day, because I work a little kids. Okay, a doctor's office and I'll be working on removing too much so that is it. I think, I'm aware I think i'ma wear this for a few days. I like this, oh and I know someone's going to ask me: um: can you sleep in these because I've gotten questions? Could you sleep in the other ones and I have down, I wouldn't recommend them down, because the tracks are moving like it's too much weight on your hair. But since your hair is up, I don't even feel these things in my head. My head does not feel heavy um, it doesn't hurt, I don't feel like it doesn't feel like I'm being pulled or anything. So I would sleep in this. I probably sleep in this like two days and then take it out, because I need to touch my scalp. I need to get any type access to my scalp so but you can sleep in this Tiger: hair up, don't just lay down on a on a pillowcase, because it's gon na be all crazy but tiger it up and you can sleep with it. I slept in this before and haven't had any problems if you wore as a ponytail and you want to sleep in it, just wrap it around. So it is a bun and then go to sleep. Don'T have the ponytail swinging when you're sleep just tied up. You know do that, but that is all I went grocery shopping and my grocery is still in the grocery bag. So I'm about to go, put them away for the go bad and see you guys. The next video bye, I'm not gon na work like this. Those not to take this out. It is 718 in the morning, oh gosh. What I think I'll keep this in then I got ta, go wake up. Booger man go, get him yeah! You

DeAndre Young: Great detail! I like how you took your time and showed each step. Thanks!

Stephanie Moore: Girl!!!!  You are just too adorable!  Thanks for the videos.  I love them all.

Angellbaby699818: Lmaooo let me just say you and I act exactly alike when were alone in front of a mirror! I've been doing my extensions in a ponytail using the same method you do for like about 4 years now and I find it to be the best most natural looking way to do it. Your very entertaining lol!

Taylor Branche: Kimberky, I love your videos...you're very clear in your explanations and your efforts deliver very natural and realistic results. I'm so glad to have found you!!! Many blessings and many thanks!!!Keep these videos coming...

Dani: You're so good at this girl and you're an inspiration because I need to learn how to do these with my own hair. Thank you.

Kim Yates-England: This is an awesome video and of course you did an excellent job! Definitely love that look and I cannot wait to try and it is soo cute! I'm about the cuteness, girl! LOL! I'm a singer and I like trying new things and doing something different and this is one of them! Thank you for the video!

Emmz971: Thanks for this tutorial!! It looks so nice and natural, i will definitely try it soon :-)

C Renee Mugo: Brilliant! I've been looking for ideas for this type of style with clipins and finally found it! Yours is the best looking one on YouTube imo.

alexai maree: you are soooo hilarious I just love watching your videos!!! and I love how you did your hair I tried but it seemed like I couldn't create a tight ponytail because the clips kept sliding if that makes sense and if it was too loose then it made the bottom of my hair sag under the ponytail you made it look easy as pie! loved the little bun and your scarf thank youzz :)

Phyllis Carpenter: Thank you for making this video. Great explanations and fabulous job!

Naya Romero: This was a great video...I am so happy I found this! I have been using clip in extensions for almost 6 years and I make them myself. Everytime I have tried to put it in a ponytail the clips are showing and I didn't realize that putting them upside down was better plus bunching them up so the clips don't show on the side. Your such a sweetheart thanks for sharing this video!!!

Teresa: Hi Kimberly I think you do good extensions and I think you make great videos. You are so down to earth and you make me laugh and I think those qualities are great in a person. Great Job!

Sami Howard: i did it! it looks natural and it feels amazing!!!

HRHCunlaDear: I don't wear extensions. I just found your channel a little while ago, and this is my third video. I found you through your hair oil review, which I loved :0 ) I am Celtic and Native American, and a lot of my hair needs are the same. I am an only child, and watching your videos makes me feel like I have access to the sister I always wanted and needed. Someone to show me what to do with my crazy hair. I have wanted to try and curl my hair, but really didn't know what tools to use, or how to use them. My hair is about the length of your hair in your video about curling with extensions. I learned a lot from it. I plan to buy a wand and barrel iron now that I know what to use. This is really neat! G-d gave you such a beautiful soul sister. I can't wait to watch more of your videos. You inform me, make me laugh, and warm my heart. You are the first channel I have ever subscribed to on YouTube. Blessings. Jen

TheGreenzgal: Well done, and it really looks natural! Your hair looks very healthy too!

Megami lloyd: Love it!! Your natural hair is sooo beautiful and healthy too.

R Kerr: Wow that looks AMAZING!!! I'm going to the Beauty Supply store NOW LOL! Your channels are so fun to watch. I'm in WPB, FL and its so gloomy and wet outside today but watching your videos I've turned that UGH into a YAAAAY! Lol! I'm actually subscribed to you and Sistawithrealhair and you both are Phenomenal women! Thank you so very much on all your Hair Therapy advice. Love, Miracles & Blessings

Shemitch: Love it! I'm so going to do this!!

Takia Benton: Thank god you made a ponytail video! This is the best one I've seen so far! Thank you very much this is so helpful now!

Kimberly: AWESOME!!! You're welcome, hun. I hope she does reconsider, because they are A LOT better than glue-ins and sew-ins. I've tried all of them, and clip-ins are by far the BEST (in my opinion). :-) Thanks for watching.

taken10154ever: You did an Excellent job. Your hair looks fabulous and you made it seem effortless. I am confident that I can get the same results just by viewing your video..Thanks a bunch for taking the time to share this video....

So blessed: I've been waiting for this forever!!! Definitely worth the wait - great video!

Sandra N.: You did a great job! Kudos!

Claudia Schexnayder: This is great Kimberly! Thank you!

Bella Chanel: Hello I love your channel and I have learned SO much from you. I was wondering should I wash new synthetic wigs or clip in extensions before wearing? I didn't know if it was gross to wear it right out of the pack or not. I'm new to wearing these products. Thanks!

Nah: Gorgeous. Love the tips. :o)

Kimberly: I purchased the hair from my Local Beauty Supply store, called: Hair City. I originally used the hair for a sew-in, and then when I removed my sew-in, I reused the hair by adding clips to the hair to make clip-ins. The hair does not come with the clips attached, you have to make them. And if you can't find the exact hair that I have, just look for hair that is similar to your hair texture. I really hope this helps :-)

BumpyMagenta Brown: YOU DID A WONDERFUL JOB!!!

Kimberly: Awww Thanks. Someone else told me that before. She is pretty. Thanks for the compliment :-)

sunny spaces: Hi How do I sew in the clips into the hair?. Also what brand clips do I use. Thanks

Gwen Felder: Looks like she just got a relaxer done for this video. Beautiful

Donna Mathews: to the op : the reason your hair cannot retain the color is because youve blown the cuticles of your hair wide open by getting it lighter. when its damaged it wont close back up again therefore the color cannot be locked in. it fades easily beacuse of that. get small tiny trims every 2 - 3 months to slowly get rid of the damages

Amani Bonilla: amazing I am totally gonna try that

M Benton: awesome!!!! im trying this right now

Laila Hill: Love it gonna try it
