Cheap Amazon Hair Extensions Review

Welcome back, it is Brittany and I'm here with another video, but it is not an eyelash video. It is another type of hair that you put on your body, not armpit, hair. It is a halo, hair extension tutorial, but these are not just any halo hair extensions. This one was $ 9 on Amazon, and this one I'll have to double check the price. I believe it was like 40 something so I'm gon na put them on and put them to the test and see which one is better. So if you are interested stay tuned, so first we have this $ 9 hair extension. It'S a good thickness like it's a good amount of hair, but it feels like when you were a little and you got a Barbie doll and you try to curl their hair with a curling iron. That'S what it feels like! It'S really just rough and not a good texture, and then it comes with a band which is pretty comfortable, really stretchy, and then this is the back of it, so you can adjust the band. I have not played around with doing that yet and then this is the more expensive, cheap, hair from Amazon, same kind of band, not quite as stretchy, and then it does have these two clips, and I am not sure how tightening works on this. They have these little like hook and loop, but I couldn't figure out how to get the hook and loop off. So I'm not sure if it's just user error or something with the hair. But I couldn't get the hook off because it has like this extra little hook and then hook back up. So I'm not sure how to adjust this one, the other one you just cut and tie this one, I'm not sure, but it is nice to have these clips for wearing it just helps secure it a little more since I don't know how to tighten that BAM. This hair is definitely human hair. It is a lot softer and smoother, and you can tell that there's some different like highlights and Lola in there as opposed to this one, which is pretty much all the same hair color. So in that comparison, you can tell this one is a lot like shinier and smoother. This one is a lot more plastic and this one, the only downfall when you first look at it is it's really thin. So if you don't have long hair, if you're trying to like have long hair just through extensions in your hair short, this is gon na, be like scraggly and not blend super well, whereas the other one is thicker and will blend a little better. So I have not tried to brush this yet I did cut. There was some weird straggly pieces. I still need to try and cut them a little more, but I did cut some of the weird nasty scraggly is off and you can see there's still a few. I'M gon na try and brush it and kind of see how it does with a hairbrush just holding it in my hand and brushing it. So this is just a paddle brush and see if I can get some of that out little, it's just making it up to pinging it a little fuzzier again. This is the nine dollar one. If you can't tell it is a good thickness, though I'll give it that not sure how much air is coming out. So that's good! I haven't put any product or anything or tried curling these, so I'm gon na try curling them as well, because I always pretty much have my hair curled like this okay, so got some of the tangles out actually feels smoother besides ends, which I'm definitely gon na. Have to go upstairs and get my shears and cut some of the ends of that other than that that one brushes fairly well out, nope it tangled itself back up again. So that's the ends of this get really tingly. I think if I trim it, it will be better, but the ends do get really tangley. As for this one, it brushes pretty nice pratik whoo tunas, so nice um it brushes pretty nice. So there's that there just is not a whole lot of hair there. Alright, so let's try application of the two. I'M gon na use a little clip and just separate the crown of my hair out and put them on and the reason I bought. These is because I am losing my hair, and so I have the length, but I'm losing a lot of hair there's like bald spots forming, and so I wanted to keep thickness and not just have really scraggly okay. So this first is the $ 9.00 and it goes on pretty easily. Oh, it's so tangled, oh okay and then we'll take this down and then you just kind of brush it together. Okay, let's go back. The blend is not bad on it. The one thing is, it doesn't hold very secure, so if you pull on it it like know, if you can see this, it pulls the whole left like over my ear. That band isn't a very tight band for the blend, though it's not bad and it's a good thickness of hair and the color I feel like matches pretty well. I am these are both also. I didn't mention 18 inch, hair extensions, but this you definitely don't know if you can see um. I think I'm just gon na trim this bottom bit and then other than that. I feel like for pictures. If you wanted to just take a picture, it's fine going out in public um, I don't know, I don't know how it feels. So you can see the band a little bit, but I think again that's just because I'm really fine hair right now, I don't. I don't have a lot up near my scalp, so I have not tried curling them. I turned my curling iron on the lowest setting, but I'm a little nervous to do it. Well, it's in my hair, but for the purpose of this video I will give it a shot. I'M gon na separate it away from my own hair, just in case it melts. I don't really want to melt it into my hair all right. So I have this down to 190 and I'm just gon na do this quick first and see if it melts it's, not it's not steaming or smoking so far, um, but it didn't curl. So, let's try, it again is make sure none of my natural hair is in there. Okay, like keeping it close to my nose so that I can smell if it's dirty to melt, so I'm ruined my curling iron. Okay, all right, I'm gon na hold it in my hand for a second um just so it cools down in that shape, not that it's even hot um, okay kind of it might be able to withstand a little more heat um. This just cracks me up. It'S like oh okay, um! So as far as curling, I might try and turn it up a little bit and see if it can withstand some more heat. Oh get on there, my curling iron, it's like I'm such a cool setting that it doesn't even want to hold the hair on there. You know what you could do with these, though I'm gon na turn it up a little. You could wet set them, so get them a little damp and then put them in a curler and see if that holds it. I don't know I'm gon na clip my hair up, really quick and then try on a hotter setting without my hair mixed into it. Already, I turned it up to 220 and we are just gon na see if that does anything, it's not melting it. So that makes me happy it's just such a like. I feel like I could touch my curling iron at this temperature with my finger and it's not even not even hot, alright we're gon na, let that cool in my hand and see alright. Actually that made it look a little shinier it made it not look so dingy and dull, who knows $ 9.00. Hair extensions could be the next best thing. My daughters have been wearing these around okay. Alright, let's see how it blends in now that it's curled not too shabby alright, I'm just trying to separate it out a little more. I don't know if you can hear my daughter singing in the background. They came unlock the dog in here. Alright, that might be as good as we get. I really do think if I took off that bottom little bit, it wouldn't be too bad. Actually it doesn't look bad on camera. I don't know what the back looks like just. Let me turn around. Okay, the only thing is, I think I need to tighten the band, because when I move this around this moves and then also would probably need to tease my hair, I don't know if I'm far enough away the you guys can't even see um, oh yeah, so I think I would definitely need to tighten this band if I was going to wear it throughout the day, because when I move around it does kind of sink down um other than that I feel like curling it and brushing it. Oh well, that's a good love! Um curling it and brushing it definitely did help blend it and make it feel softer and more like my natural hair, who would have thought all right, I'm gon na pull this one off and then we're gon na try the other one and then maybe y'all. Even hang this on a hanger and add some more curls to it and see how that is, I'm gon na do the same thing with the other hair extension. Where I take my crown up and I'm not super precise with this cuz, I wasn't with the other one either. So I wan na make it fair. I did grab a little comb to make it a little easier to wash off all right sure with this one. It has the band, but it also has the clips so I place, I am gon na place the clips on first and then I'm gon na bring that up over. You can tell it it's a little big like that. I need to figure out a better way to tighten that band and then I'll show you what I'm talking about with how thin it is like it's just not a lot of hair and I almost feel like you can see this band more than the cheap one. The cheaper one, all right, let's brush this, so there is a little bit of work to kind of hide that band. I like pulling your hair over it and out from underneath it, but I mean nobody's really gon na be staring that close to your head and see a thicker hair than me. It would hide better okay, so here's this one, it's really soft hair. I feel like it blends the color really nicely. The only thing is it's again really thin down here, so you can tell where my natural hair stops, which is like right here and where it begins, but because I'm doing it more for fullness rather than length. It'S okay, but if you had short hair this would just it would look scraggly down at the bottom. So I'll show you what it looks like before. I curl it in the back and then we'll curl it so there's the back. It definitely feels way more secure. If I move it's not moving around like the other one, so let's put a couple curls in it and see how it bled about this one melting, because I did curl it already the first time I wore it and it didn't melt. So I'm just gon na do it with my hair in here and not worry about it. I turned out my curling iron as well, I believe, to 300 and this one curls really nicely and since it's so thin it hardly takes any time to curl, which is also nice. I think that's my natural hair yeah, that's my natural see it blends so good. I can't even tell what's my natural and what is the fake hair well take care, it's real hair, but hair extensions, and the only thing I noticed before I didn't use any product on it, but the curl did fall flat by the end of the day. But when I wore it, it was at my daughter's birthday party at the gymnastic studio, so I was jumping around jumping in the foam pit and it wasn't like a normal day. So I would be interested to see you with a little hairspray. Oh the curls last and if they fall flat, so I think I'll wear it today and see if it falls flat and then I will work my words keep good I'll work. I will work on the other one umm and curl it and then maybe wear that one tomorrow and report back in the comments how that one more, but I think this one definitely blends better than the other one. It feels like my hair. It'S a very soft hair, where's, the other one's really coarse and plasticky feeling and then with the natural radiation of like darks and lights in the extension in this one. I feel like it just blends, really well with my hair, so alright and then ease of taking out you just unclip those clips and pull it right out and it doesn't pull your hair so either one of them come out easily they go in easily. I just feel like this. One is definitely I mean it's more expensive, but you get what you pay for, even though it's cheap Amazon here and I will leak link them in the comments below as well. If I can figure out how to do that, but I feel like for 40-some dollars, it's a good purchase, the $ 9 one I wouldn't buy again, but if you're just trying to get some nice looking hair for pictures or a video, I definitely think it could Work, I won't wear it outside of the house. My girls will probably wear it for fun. I didn't do the back of this so after it is curled feel like it one. I hope you found this helpful. I know when I was searching Amazon for different types of hair extensions for cheap, just trying to figure out something to do to help me feel better about like the bald spots that are forming the reviews were super hit or miss whether things were good, the ones That had good reviews only had a couple, so I searched YouTube and found a couple videos, but then I couldn't find those hair extensions on Amazon, so these are currently available right now, I'm not sure how much longer they'll be available, but I will link them at The bottom - and I hope you guys have a wonderful day thanks for watching
