How To Install Big Chop Clip Ins On Short Natural Hair Collab W/Kays Ways

Hey guys, I am so excited to do this tutorial. Those of you that follow me on Instagram or whatever may have seen me with big chop clippings in because you know I chopped off my hair a couple of months back and I've been loving. My short do, but sometimes don't want a little bit of funky volume, a little bit of some next relative bit of pizzazz, and so that's what I'm gon na do and we're gon na go ahead and see how I can kind of throw these in to change. My look a little bit as you know, I have a short tapered cut, and so it's not completely tapered. My sides are completely shaved down, but what I did last night to prepare for this is I twisted my hair all going to the side. Okay, they want this hair to kind of lay to the flat lay flat to the side, and so I've twisted the hair twisted my hair and I've actually laid them flat with pins. I pinned them down to really allow some stretch of my hair because my hair shrinks, like the dickens, and so we wanted to blend so stay tuned, keep watching and don't forget to head over to Kay's ways channel. Then we both got big chocolate, bins and so we're doing a collab today. So the first thing I'm going to do is take down my existing twist. Remember I twisted my hair and I use bobby pins to hold them down flat. The hair has been twisted on partially dry hair, so it was a little bit damp and I did that because I wanted to make sure that my head as much stretch as possible. I didn't want to twist on soaking wet hair, so now that the twister out this is what it should look like and now we're going to go ahead and put in the clip ins. So, as you can see here, I'm taking a half a weft, not a full weft of hair. The reason I'm taking half a wife is just because I want the hair at the front of my head to be kind of sort of at an angle. In a sense, so I'm only using half a weft of hair for the front and the first clip in and for the remaining ones we're going to use the full length left. As you can see here, I'm just going to go ahead and part. My hair and just leave a little bit of hair out in the front. This is not a exact part, it's not particular it's just a part and I'm going to go ahead and take the clip ins. As you can see here, the clippings are on there. Are these little combs on the ends that you use to just go ahead and slide in the hair and then snap it in place and that's it? I want to do one. It just gets easier and easier and easier and we're going to just do two more sections of hair. Again, we're going to part pull my own hair down to blend, take the clip in and then just slide it in and then snap it in place cute right again, this is our last one again. This is not an exact part, as you can see, I'm just going to take the clip in snap it in play, or rather slide it in place using the combs and then just snap it in. As you can see here. I have it right up against my scalp and that's pretty much the look guys super easy. Now I'm just going to go ahead and just start blending my hair in place with the extensions so that it looks a little bit more natural, just fluff it out blend it into place and that's it now. I'M going to actually go ahead and take some scissors. Now these are my house scissors. Please people do not use how scissors check out your hair, but I'm doing it anyway, just to blend it in a little bit more, nothing precise, and this is exactly what it would look like and you can leave it alone like this. But, ladies and gentlemen, I want to throw in a little bit of pizzazz and some color, so let's go ahead and add some color, I'm using Jerome pink spray. This is temporary color. It sprays right on and, as you can see, I'm concentrating on the ends of my hair, because I just want the color on the ends. I don't need it all the way through the hair and the color is very, very subtle. So if you want to go deeper, you really have to spray it on and I'm gon na I'm gon na go I'm going to go deeper. Don'T worry, as you can see here, I'm really spraying concentrating on the ends of not only the big chop clippings, but also my own hair cute right. I love this hair. I really do now. I'M just going to go spritz the sides a little bit here with some water I've added some echo styler gel. You can also use any kind of edge teaming gel and a paddle brush to just go ahead and hold it down into place on my sides or really slick down and neat and crisp. I'M just going to go ahead and spray on a little bit more color. Here, because I really want to bring out that pink and that's it super gorgeous. I absolutely love this hair.
