Studiotechilo | Hair Scams | Tape In Hair Extensions Black Women | Tape Ins | Tape Ins Removal

Just wanted to clear some stuff up that I seen in the comments.

- I did not make this video to bash or “cancel” her. This has nothing to do with bring down a black woman! This is simply my experience!

- PLEASE READ THE COMMENTS ! Unfortunately there are “ Multiple “ women saying the same thing about the Quality of the hair that’s being sold by this company! So obviously I have no reason to lie!

- I currently have 110 tape ins in my hair, That I love ( hair is from a different company ) and I am not having the same experience as I did with her hair. The “ tape “ had nothing to do with the hair matting up, the Quality of the hair did.

- Yes I understand I have thin hair, which is why for years I have been wearing Clip ins and not weaves. Weaves break my hair off, clips don’t because it’s between my hair and I can take them out when I want too . Which was once a week to wash . I switch to Tape ins because I wanted a more natural look.

- My stylist did nothing wrong at all! She has been doing tape ins for years and I am the first to have hair mat like that.

- Once again this is not a bashing Video, this is not for “ cloud “ which I don’t understand why ppl think that but I guess.

- I am also not going to be selling hair lol

- Side Note: with my new tape ins they came 40 in a pack and I purchase three packs for a full head. I was told 40 tape ins are equal to one bundle.

- I am not a tape in expert, or trying to be. I just simply had a horrible experience and I shared it that’s it and that’s all !

- I am happy I did so they other women can freely talk about there’s WHICH WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO DO ❤️

Guys welcome to my channel, i am mish love and in today's video we're going to talk about my nightmare, wig tapings and why i haven't cut off all my hair, so um we're going to get right to it. I'M going to give you guys, um tell you guys where i got my hair from what happened, why i had to cut my hair off um, but before that, before that i'm going to talk about four things that i've learned in the process of getting tape: ins, The three weeks that i had it that no one really told me um that i learned based off experience, so let's jump right into it. So the first thing that i learned is about the amount of hair. You should get when you're getting tape in so um when you purchase your tape ins, it's a lot different from bundles they're, actually more expensive, even though it's like the same hair and just tape at the end versus, like you know, a little track, wheat, whatever it's Called um, which is kind of crazy to me, but it's more expensive. You need more hair, so um. Let me give you guys an example when i bought my hair um in one pack, it's 20 pieces, so in order to have full hair um if it's 20 pieces, you're gon na need about five to six packs of hair, the hair can range based off my Experience where i got my hair from is a hundred and something dollars plus, so i purchased 18 inches, which i believe was like 110 per bundle, and i bought three of them um and the three packs i i got was not enough, but i did not know That so um once i when i purchased my hair, it was 20 pieces in one bundle. So what happens? Is that it's technically 10 pieces because um you need two pieces per hair. The the hair goes onto your head like a sandwich, so, for example, they take a little piece of your hair and they put one tape in track right here and they put one right here and smash it together and that's how the tapings are in your hair. So if you have 20 pieces technically, you have 10 because each tape is like sandwich. You know, so you have to make sure you get more hair. So, for example, me make sure you get more bundles because of that. So when i got my tape ins, my tape is like 18 inches. My real hair is about like 14, so the blend was like kind of like perfect, so um you couldn't really tell. I have a a full set of hair because it was like kind of like layer. You couldn't really tell what was mine, which was tape, means um, but my whole back was pretty much where all my tapings went and on my sides, um like two or three at the top to like you know, make it like a look a little bit more Fuller, but i really wish i would have had two more extra bundles to make it even bigger than what it was um but, like i said i didn't know, because when i got it, i hit up my um hairstylist and i was like girl. This does not look like a lot of hair, which she did not sell me to hear. Somebody else did and she was like. Oh once like once you come in like let me see um so yeah. So when you're getting tape is try to find a company where you can have 40 pieces um or more in a bundle because 20 pieces really don't do anything for you. So whatever the amount of pieces that come in, that bundle is technically by have okay. So that's the first thing i learned um. The second thing i learned um is when you wash your hair, so if it depends on how you are like, if you want to go to the shop every two weeks uh, it really depends on your hair with me. I have to wash my hair once a week um and there's no way i'm about to go to the shop once a week to get my hair washed, so you can wash your hair with tape ins. The advice that i'm gon na have for you guys is. I know a lot of black people like to wash their hair over the sink. You cannot do that with tape ins, you well technically, you can but you're going to have a lot of tangle and that's a lot of like pressure on your hair um. You want to wash it in the shower, so when you're watching the shower, the first thing you want to do is make sure that your hair is completely um detangle from the rooty to the tutti, from the top to the end honey make sure it's completely detangled. Um, once you do that you're gon na section off before four parts and you're gon na put the clips. You know the clips are okay. You'Re gon na put the clips on your hair and you're gon na wash your purse section. When you wash your hair you're gon na go under each taping. You know get your scalp massages as much as you can um and then, when you are rinsing it off. Try not to drench your hair in so much water where the water just sits. While you go to another um, you know section of your hair completely like strand that um water out of your um hair and then tie it back up, because if you have a lot of which i learned, which i heard it at first, i did not know. Um, you have a lot of um that waters a lot of pressure on your hair. Remember that the hair is taped to your hair. So if it's pull, if it's so much weight, it's going to pull your hair and it's going to hurt so make sure that when you're washing your hair, you do it in sections. So that way, it's not that much pressure on your hair um. The third thing that i learned is when you are what she did it. My my um hairstyles did a great job. I just seen this and when i wanted to tell you guys this, if you didn't know when you are getting tape, ins and somebody's doing it make sure they don't do it exactly like where you know exactly at the top, you want to make sure they leave A little room um when i do the tape in so that way when they are flipping and doing your hair and you're putting your hair in a ponytail. It'S not exactly at the root and it's not pulling your scalp and you have to wait until new hair grow in order for it to loosen up, you want to make sure they don't they do it kind of like not at the top, but almost at the Top, so that is the um third thing. Was that one two three three yeah, that's the third thing, um that i learned. The fourth thing that i learned is when it comes to taking out your tape into make sure it's an easier process. What you want to do is kind of like a hot oil treatment when it's time to take it out, so you want to put an oil, that's not heavy! You don't want a heavy oil. You want to do like a sesame seed, oil, grape seed oil, um or whatever, or coconut oil, whatever you're comfortable with um. Just warm it up a little bit, not too not too much um and then just put it in your scalp um. You don't have to put it down on your hair, just put in your scalp, massage it in a little bit um and then put a cap on your head. Put your bonnet and let it sit until you either overnight or until you are about to go. Get your tape, ins um at least for an hour or so, but if you could do it overnight all day, then just do it. So that way, when you get your tape in taken out um, it is not that hard for them to take up take out, and it doesn't take that long for them to take it out. So those are the four tips that i have when it comes to tape: ins, um, understanding. You know how much hair to get um, how to wash your hair properly um. What was it making sure they're, not tubbing on it, um and removing your hair properly as well, because the taping should not pull out your hair, like you should not have a lot of hair residue. Also, when the tape ins are being removed from your hair, make sure, if you're not going to the styles or you're going to style this before you wash your hair, make sure all of that extra tape is completely combed out of your hair before you wash your Hair, which masala did a great job. I don't have to worry about that, but i was reading up on that as well. People are not washing. You know combing, all of that um tape out of their hair and is which is causing them to have problems. So those are the four tips that i have for you guys when it comes to tapings now um when it comes to tape, ins um, our tape is worth it depending on how you like to wear your hair. If you press your hair out a lot or you have natural curly hair like i do, i did um and you just want more volume. Then. Yes, they are that girl um. They are 100 worth it. My experience wasn't technically with the tape. My experience was, more so with the hair um and i'm going to explain to you uh why it's really important to make sure you pick the perfect person like you can have um. You know you can go. You can be cheap when it comes to your lace. Front you can be cheap when it comes to you know, doing a weave. You cannot be cheap at all when it comes to um tapings like not at all, and i wasn't but honey anyways. Let'S get into my story. So i got my tape. Ins um i'm gon na put right here in this video of my taping experience. I love my tape ends um. They were perfect. My hair is super super thin. So that's the reason why i got tape in to give me that body my style has did an amazing job at putting my tapings in. So the problem came mainly when it's with the hair itself, so on day. Three, so when my style is put it put it in my hair um, we can um, you know, put all the products, you know the curly hair products in your hair, um wet it really really good, and when it dried down, you guys can see through the Little rail i just put on here it was just so pretty poofy and everything, but one thing i didn't notice is when it wants to dry: it's rough like ain't. No, he can't rub his hands down your hair. Like none of that, like it's like what the is this so um, i'm just like okay, whatever i don't look too much into it, because i have had curly hair before um, i know curly hair will dry out, but i never experienced it like that, like i Had literally curly hair for four years and i have been putting stitchings in my hair, um really um, i do mainly clippings, which is like the same thing, because it's still going in between your hair, like i have clippings now, because my hair is so thin um. So i know curly hair. My son has naturally colored hair and his hair, even though he is, i think, 4c type curly hair. I know curly hair, so um i was like okay, maybe it dries out well, the third day i got my first little nap like my first little tango angle and i'm just like okay. What is this and every night um i either detangle or i'm too tired. I do have a two-year-old, so i'll be tired. I run the business. I also work as well, so i'm exhausted. So i didn't. I could not fully comb it out every single night, but i combed it out every single day if that makes sense. So i just put my bonus on and i just do it in the morning time so on day. Three, i'm just like okay, i got ta call my hair out and i'm noticing i don't know it's because it was hot. My hair is dramatically drying out and it's getting so tangled, where once i had to within the first week, i had to cut out a piece of the hair because it was so tangled it. I couldn't do nothing about it, so i cut that out. I cut my hair out and i'm just like it was a little piece, so i'm just like okay, like whatever no one's gon na notice, that i'm not tripping so um every day, like i'm gon na put the video up here as well. Every day, i'm literally having to detangle my hair for like at least 30 minutes to 40 minutes like every single day like, and i have to break it down at night and then my time in the morning, tell me how yeah i know most time. The hair is completely dried out, so i have to like spray like it was eating up all our products like it's very expensive and i'm just like okay, whatever it's curly hair like just, if there's no like wet knit, and it's just coming back to life like No, you have to put product in it like you, have to put foam and put a leave-in conditioner. You have to put like all your little curly hair stuff. Like yeah, you got ta get that hair. You know that hair have to be moisturized, so i'm like. Okay, i never had to do it this intense with the other hair that i had, but i'm just like, okay, whatever so the problem came where on monday um, which was memorial day um, i combed out my hair and it was really tangled, but i got it Through i combed it out, i put it in a little cute ponytail and put the video up here. I put a little cute ponytail ponytail was flawless. Tape is, like i said, are that girl um, but i noticed throughout the day my hair was just getting. It was just so dry and i'm like i just literally drenched this hair in product like there's no way so the night of memorial day, i'm just like this hair is so freaking tangled. I couldn't comb it out um. So i'm just like i'm just going to worry about in the morning i put my bonnet on and when i woke up i went by my day. I had to work really fast. I woke up late and then um once i got my day settled um. I you know, did my whole water, routine, wet it down put the product in there and my flashes went off so the lighting went bad. My flash went off because my phone is always hot, so i don't know why. I'M not my camera tomorrow anyway, but anyways um, so i'm like okay um. Let me try to comb it out. I could not comb it. I'M gon na put up all the videos right now. As you can see, i could not comb my hair out for nothing in the world like i could not get it through. So my son, like i said my son, has curly hair, so i'm using his the tingling uh, the tango um spraying, my hair and i'm like spraying the crap out of these knots like how did it get this matted up like? How did it get this matted up? It'S only been 24 hours, there's no way so then i go to this side. Well, this side or whatever side it was one side was dreaded like i'm gon na show you the hair, because we could not even get a tank. Once you took out the tapings, it was like so dreaded it was so tangled like i did not comb. My hair off for a week it's been less than 24 hours, so i'm like, oh my god like i cannot comb it out. I cannot come it out. Can i come and i'll come i'm going out, i'm just like. Oh my gosh. So at this point i hit up my hairstyles and say girl. It'S not only. I need you to help me. Take this hair out my head. I am crying cause i hopped in the shower um because i couldn't detangle it so i'm like. Maybe i just need to hop in the shower and like drench, my hair um, and i couldn't i couldn't do it at all and remember what i said like when you pull that water in your hair. It hurts so it's really hurting, because i got this big old knot here. That'S really holding the water and i'm just like oh my gosh, so i'm literally crying like what the hell is going on like there's no way so trying to comb it out trying to come out. This is like three hours of me trying to come on. My hair, i could not do it so i hit up my hair stylist and told her for the appointment, but she didn't get the next day because i think it was like it was really late at that point, i've been doing it for hours um. Then i hit up the company and i'm gon na put this up as well um their response ahead of the company and they didn't respond because of course, it's late in there in atlanta. So it was like probably two three o'clock in the morning for them. So the very next day my stylist hit me up and she said that she couldn't get me into the next day. I dropped myself to my mom. I suppose i have two baby free days, wednesday and thursday um no okay. I did not have my baby three days because i was too busy worried about my hair so wednesday. I end up going around. You know looking like beautiful, because the knot was so big and at this point it's all dried out. Looking crazy and i couldn't get it out, my hair, my hair was just dry and it was just a mess because i could not take off the tangle and i'm like okay i'll just wait till thursday, because at this point i'm going to shave my head off Because my hair - because that's what i thought i was going to have to do now, the key point is that it was not the tape in part. That'S not the problem, it was the hair that was taping um detangled with my hair, so the glue part to the tape and was not the problem at all. It was the actual hair. So i am so let's get into the company that i went to um. I'M gon na put everything in their instagram everything up and let's get into their responses, so um, let's go to before i talk about their responses. Let'S go to me going to my stylist on thursday, so i go to my hairstylist on thursday and i'm like girl. Can you take it out, so she squeezed me in and she gives me a one hour appointment because we thought that's all. I was gon na. Take the tingles here. No, it took one hour just to do one little section that she got detangled and that was it and then she tried to do this and this side the side that was really really detangled and she just couldn't do it. Um and her clients start coming in. So i left and i left for two hours and then i came back but between the two hours i actually left for four hours um, but for two hours i had went to the um store the beauty supply and i was like. Can you guys give me the best detangling cream? They actually had a black girl in there. So i was really happy about that and i said girl look at that like what can help and she showed me the best products that they have, which i'll put here. So you guys can know this. These are the goats when it comes to detangling um, i put so much product in my hair, so much product in my hair that my taping started to slip out on their own, like at the top that wasn't detangle. They started to slip out because um it was so much product so um. I got this side of my hair completely tangled, but i didn't get this side of my hair completely detangle like at all, so i'm like, oh my god, like whatever so i'll, go back to her shop and she tried again for an hour trying to detangle it And she could not detangle this hair at all, like you really think that my i let my hair be like not combed out for, like a month like no, it was literally less than 24 hours like it was just horrible. So at this point, um at this point she's trying to comb it out coming out coming out coming out. She could not do anything about it um, so it was like okay, let's try to take the tapings out first and then we'll take the tapings out and then see if the hair will slide. My hair will slide out. So she took all the tapings out um and she could not get my hair to slide out um of the part that was tangled. The tape in part came out fine, but the detangle part would not come out of my hair, so this is the hair that was stuck in my hair. So this is my hair somewhere in here, and this is the detangle part. So this is how tangled the hair was like, so she got the tape out. She got my hair from the root out, but she couldn't get the length part out like she couldn't get this much out. So we did not know what to do like it would. Just not slip out like there's no way no hair is slipping out. I know the. Let me try to see if you can see it back here, because i know the flash is off. If i can't see when i re when i really look at this video i'll record it up close, but look how like you cannot like i'm like pulling like, why was this stuck in somebody hair? I i detangle my hair every day like what made this happen. Like come on, so more of the story is when she could not take it out. My hair. She had to cut a part of my hair, so she cut my hair a little bit a little bit longer than this like a little bit longer than this. It was about like this this much so because i have thin hair this right here, this little body i have that's. I have five tracks on my hair right now. That tells you how thin my hair is. Okay, because this is not even enough hair um. So she cut that much of my hair out. So i decided you know what like, if i press on my hair right now, you're going to be able to tell that this side has you know, hair missing than this side, because it's so thin. So we i decided to just cut my hair off evenly because you were going to be able to tell that it was uneven. So i'm like you know what it is, what it is she cut my hair off and that's the reason i have to get my hair cut off, because the tape ends not the tape in part, but the hair got matted up in my hair, so um, okay, So let me tell you guys who the company was i'm about to put it up here and i'm also gon na put um our conversation of how everything went so um the moment my hair got tangled up. I had contacted them like i said, and it was like they're in atlanta, so it was about 2 am so i didn't respect any response and then the next day um, i let the number got tangled and if you guys are reading the messages you can see That they did not take responsible responsibility for it, so they blame my hairstylist. They said that my hairstylist did not install them right. Ciao, that is tape. All you're doing is taping sandwiching two um two pieces of hair together between some hair. It does not take a rocket science which i thought that made them really mad. It does not take a rocket science to understand that you can literally go to youtube, watch three videos and learn how to tape is really one okay um, so it had nothing to do with my hairstylist at all, and then she blamed me in saying that uh, You know she said that you have to comb out the hair every like you know every so often, and i wasn't maintaining the hair properly, which i told her. I come out the hair every single day, because i have to come off the air, the hair, every single day, um, and that i was maintaining it properly. I have curly hair like this is what i've been doing. This is not the first, my first royal wig curly hair between my hair, because i, like i said i use um clip ins which goes between your hair. It has to clip onto your hair right so um. She just pretty much and take responsibility. She just kept saying that they're that they're professionals - they know what they're doing they would never sell products, that's messed up x, y and z. I understand you are professional at tapens, but this hair - you don't make yourself like this hair is from a manufacturer. So i could have took in which, if you read the last message that i sent i didn't want to come on, i was going to come on social media, not social media. I was going to come on youtube and save my experience anyway, but not necessarily tell who i got the hair from if she would have just gave my money back. But the reason why i'm letting you guys know who did it so you guys can stay away from them. So if you do get a bad batch of hair um i mean you can go through them if you want to. But if you get a bad batch of hair and your hair have to come out, then that's just pretty much on you at this point. That'S what they told me um. They can't do anything about it. They blame me so there's something that i've done wrong. If you're telling me as a company, she gave me a little letter a little, you know the little things they become and they tell you how to maintain the hair, which was, i did everything they said, which was um, make sure you keep the hair um. Actually, no just put leave-in conditioner or something i'll find it and post it up. If i find it, it was like the basic stuff like the air drying and stuff like that, so it's not to bash them. Putting this on there, it's just the horrible customer service. The not caring that i have to lose my hair, i literally cry for two days: i'm not gon na lie, because i really thought i have to shave my hair off. It was really traumatic. Like the two days i was supposed to be free, baby free living. My best life - i was in this thing depressed as hell because of my hair like come on, so they didn't take responsibility for it, even though their manufacturer could have just sent them a a bad batch of hair, and that's really what it could have been because If she would have refunded my money, it's not like your company is losing out on 400 dollars. Your company, technically is losing out on probably like 150, whatever you pay for that bundle, the wholesale price so you're, really not even taking an l, i'm pretty sure she already hit her million already or multiple million dollars already, so that little money would have never hit Her and we could have kept it private, like i told her i wanted to, but you know how these companies can be like everybody wants to have a business, but nobody wants to have the customer service behind it, and i can promise you i'm not. The first person she can just do this to me: i'm not the first person that she had a problem with so if you're going to get hair, i don't know if i said this already um, but if you're gon na get hair just pull it. If you can't pull up to the person when it comes to tape ends, i honestly would not do it online um. You can take your chance, but take this is not the hair that you want to play with when it comes to. You know your hair, as you can see, it can be very like dangerous. You can get your hair cut out. Okay, so more of the story is, is um don't shop with them? I mean you can if you want to, but i would not shop with them. They don't take the reason why you should, because they don't take accountability for their products like they said to me once they get the product once the customer get the products, it's not on them anymore, ma'am, you're, selling, hair. If i get this product and this hair is it's on you at the end of the day, if i sell weight strainers, if i send a weight trainer to a customer, and one of the clips is broke right when i get it are right when they wear For like a week - and it breaks that's on me - and it's really on the manufacturer, so i'm going to send the customer the products back and then contact the manufacturer like hey. This is not right. This should never happen when you send me my next batch. Can you send me an extra one and you take with the manufacturer if you're buying big boats they're going to send they're going to take the l? You know you really need to take them they're going to take the l, but i mean everybody running business differently. So um yeah overall tape ins are for the win. The company was just really horrible, so tape ins are a yes like a hundred percent. I am going to master tape because i want to learn everything about it. I honestly already found a vendor for tape and um, i'm not going to sell it somebody else's um. So if you are her company - and you want me to you - know test out your hair, i would love to. I am going to learn how to do tape. Ins, i am going to learn how to master make it on my own, because you can actually have um old hair and make tape ins yourself, i'm going to master everything with tape. And so, if you want to know about more about tape, ins or all my duices on my channel, subscribe to my channel uh, make sure you guys like this video, because if you like this, video instagram will push it out. So more people that um can see it like it's, not a bashing video. It'S an educational video to understand, um tape, tapings just a little bit more better from a consumer aspect that had this nightmare happen to them so subscribe to my channel, um and yeah leave a comment. If you guys feel like i've, been a little bit dramatic uh, you feel like. I did something wrong, let me know, or we have that experience with this company or any company um, let your voice be heard, like put it in the comments um but yeah. Thank you guys. So much and i'll see you guys next time, yeah bye,

MishLove: 7:47 - The reason I had to cut my hair 17:24 - Studiotechilo response This isn’t a bashing video, I made this video to educate people on the things that can happen if you choose the wrong hair company.

Adrienne Lloyd: Listen Up, Ladies. You have to SUE these people when they sell these sub par products and pretend it’s your fault. As an attorney, I can assure you most of these company owners will not want a court case. You have excellent documentary evidence (ie, the photos). You can also include a certified statement from your stylist about the condition your hair was in when you went to her for help. The key is to hold the seller responsible. In most states, a corporation must be represented by an attorney in court. 99% of these hair companies and salons are corporations. You don’t need an attorney to sue them. They, on the other hand, must hire an attorney and will have to pay $1500-2000 minimum to hire one. This is far more than just giving you a $400 refund. When they realize you know this aspect of the law, they’ll usually refund you. Start with a letter demanding a refund and stating that you know it will cost them thousands to defend against your lawsuit. Send your pics and state, “I intend to present these photos, as well as other evidence to the court.” It’s not difficult. Small claims courts have clerks to help guide you in the process of filing your lawsuit, if it comes to that. Don’t Just Post, SUE!

travellpc: I had the same experience with this seller but I noticed right away that the hair was not the same quality as her website. I emailed her and she asked me to send the hair back so she could work with it. Once the hair was delivered back to her shop in Atlanta she ghosted me…so she had the hair AND my money. Luckily, I paid with Paypal. Paypal took the money away from her and refunded me. Someone needs to call ShadeRoom Investigates because this seller is definitely a scammer.

Xysha Montre: Too many complain in this video comment section for it to be a lie. That lets me know she has her IG comments censored. No way people are all having the SAME experience and not ONE bad comment on her IG. I absolutely HATE the fact that people scam like this. That’s why I try my best to find cute natural styles or just use PACK HAIR These scammers have NO MORALS!!!!

Chelsea-Alana: Im so glad someone posted about this ! Two years ago I purchased hair from them and it was litterally $100 for 20 pcs and got 3 'packs' but it wasnt enough and I went to a professional to still install. The hair was supposed to be a curly texture but once I straighted it to go to my trip to St. Maarteen, THE HAIR NEVER CURLED BACK. When I emailed StudioTechilo complaining about them not being transparent about the thin hair and how much hair I should order and then complained about the texture. Their response was so rude saying it was because it wasnt installed by a 'Studio Techilo' professional. (My stylist has been doing my hair since high school, shes board certified in New York and owns her own salon) And Im like, what does the install method have to do with the ACTUAL hair texture ? Never got a response, or refund. WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM THEM AGAIN.

Brittney McDonald: I went to her studio to purchase tape ins… when I saw the quality and the amount she saw trying to sell me as a bundle I was like ok this is a joke. Also the hair she had on display vs what she was trying to sell me was totally different. I’m so glad I didn’t give her my money.

FJ: I’m SHOCKED because her work always looks amazing. Smh goes to show everything that glitters isn’t gold.

J Lew: I’m so glad you posted this. I’ve been watching her content for the last couple of years, and I’ve never seen a bad comment; however, one video of an honest review and you have so many women in the comments sharing their less than stellar experiences. Honestly, I’m noticing that so many of these stylists and hair companies lack integrity. They sell a product but refuse to stand behind it or take responsibility if the product is not up to par. I believe that sometimes customers can get a “bad batch” but it’s gross that these companies refuse to be accountable in these scenarios.

Ms. Know It All: So this is what I’ve learned about the hair game! Distributors always start off good providing the best quality hair. Then, once they make a bunch of money, they start sending bad batches mixed in with good ones. Then, awhile after that, it all goes down hill and they send more bad hair than good hair! Instead of stylist admitting that they’ve been scammed, they’re now addicted to all the money they’ve been making and start blaming you! By the time they’ve had it with their distributor, it’s too late and they’ve moved on to the next stylist to run the same scam all over again. This is why we’re all chasing the next new hair company or stylist with the “good hair”! Listen ladies, do not pay a lot of money for hair. It is all inferior b/c it ain’t enough real hair in the world to put on all of our heads!!! To get the best stuff, you have to be a celebrity or have access to them and it costs thousands of dollars. I think we’ve all had good hair before but let’s be honest, most of the time none of the expensive hair is so much better than reasonable priced bundles. These hair scams are huge and this stylist has lots of complaints and always fails to treat people right. She needs to get her business right with her distributor and stop blaming her good paying customers!!!

TChi: I've reached out to her before and she's rude and arrogant. She uses the same specific clients and "friends" for content, so her work is definitely going to be top tier in those circumstances but yeah, the upart wig that I was going to order was a hell no for me. Couldn't even confirm the specs of the upart and if it would be ok to dye it. Glad I followed my instincts.

Tailcoat Times: A bad batch of hair is one thing but bad customer service is unnecessary. Peeped Studio Techilo’s lack of custom service first hand and before even purchasing anything. Thank you for sharing your story. We need to continue to use our voices!

Britney: I brought some hair from her 2 months ago. & It’s still sitting in the bag it came in. My hair is thin like yours and I can’t imagine dealing with matted hair like that. Thank you for your honesty and taking the time to tell us your story.

PrettyLiyah: I literally was about to buy hair from her and get my first ever tap ins ! Thank you for posting this it took me years to grow my hair to my shoulders being 100% natural I would hate if I bought it and this was the result.

AKCJ: I can’t get with these stylists OVERCHARGING to install tape ins. Tape ins are so easy to install. I actually used regular bundles and made my own. (Started like 6 years ago) No way a tape in install should be more than $200. I think studiotechilo charges $500 +. That’s ridiculous.

Shyla Janay: I bought a curly ponytail from this same company and the quality was horrible, so I honestly believe you when you say the install wasn't the problem. The hair felt like it was a blend and not 100% human hair. Sorry this happened to you!

AD: I literally had the exact same hair experience with this seller. Went to Mexico a week after my installation(didn’t even get into the ocean) but my hair matted up SO BAD after a week while I was out there. (Coincidentally enough it was that same back corner too) I had two gfs working on getting it out of my head for 3hrs. Before having to cut it. NO ONE wants that BS on vacation. SMH

Mississippi Girl: As someone who used to sell hair years ago, people actually expect to buy virgin hair from China. Virgin Malaysian, Peruvian, Cambodian. That is all processed hair, non Remy (cuticles not aligned) and made to look like a certain type of hair then finished with silicone wash to make it smooth and shiny. The 1st time you wash your hair and wash off the silicone, the hair is a rats nets because the cuticles are wrapping on each other. China is not going to import this hair from all these places just to sell it to vendors cheap enough to mark it up 10x and get rich. Good, Remy, virgin hair costs

VivaLalaLee: I just want to validate this information! I LITERALLY just bought some clip ins from her (exotic clip ins) they were literally trash! I will never buy from her again. I think when she records her videos she definitely uses more then two bundles atleast to achieve the results she wants. The hair she has is so trash and then. Also when you go to wash or style it, it literally falls out. Like intense shedding

Ethereal Beauty: The universe is definitely looking out for me because I love her videos and had been wanting to purchase for a while! I definitely won’t be now. How disappointing. I’m gonna be making my own tape ins and testing the strands to see if they’re synthetic! This looks like a synthetic blend instead of 100% human hair.

Nakisis Mays: I’m unsubscribing from her channel. I wanted to actually buy their hair because it looks so great in the videos but after seeing your video it’s a no go for me. That was HORRIBLE customer service. At the end of the day even if you were 100% to blame for what happened there was no need for her to be so callus. I have no respect for her as a professional in the service industry with how this situation was handled. Side note, even though I know you definitely didn’t want to lose your hair the cut looks so gorgeous on you. ♥️♥️♥️

Nicole Williams: I got my hair done at that salon once. Got a silk press. Bad vibes & Unprofessional environment from the time I walked in. Never went back

SLR Couture: The Universe sent this to my feed. I literally have 2 bundles of this exact hair in my cart on this website. I waited to purchase, waiting on a response from her on how much to get for a full look. It’s a no from me now. Unsubscribe her channel and unfollowed her social media accounts. Thanks

Da'Licia H: Wow this happened to me too. Same hair same company, but I had to cut all of my hair off. I was so disappointed. I spent all that money and the tapes tangled up the next day. Then the tape itself would not release my hair regardless of what products I used. I had to many broken pieces and bald spots, I had to cut everything off. I'm sorry this happened to you

Adam Balogh: It was not Remy hair. Meaning not all of the hair cuticles were going in the same direction. Basically it’s hair from scraps(floor) hair. They strip the hair cuticle and coat it with silicone. That’s why it was fine at first, but the more you wash it the faster the coating comes off hence the matting.

sade watkins: Na the fact that you literally lost your own hair that just got me tight I’m really so sorry that happened to you foreal. & no you are not being dramatic at all. I hope that your next tape in experience is a DREAM and your natural hair is able to grow back more beautifully than before. Thank you for sharing this information with us too. This was a brave thing to do cause these companies will really gaslight like your the issue to a point of exhaustion and wanting to give up but you did the right thing speaking up and sharing the truth. May God continue to Bless you & May you recoup all that was lost In Jesus Name

Suri C: I ordered some hair from her a couple of years ago. Thankfully it was never delivered to me and I contacted her for a refund. She didn’t initially want to refund my money. She wanted to resend the hair, but I said no, that’s ok. I had a feeling that something wasn’t right about her hair.

Revamped By Shaday: Im a hair stylist in VA and My client purchased her exotic curly tapes and I knew immediately it was going to be bad. The hair was dull and would not silk out just looked puffy and strands were melting on the flat iron. When the client washed her hair at home to wear them curly they matted terribly. NOW i will say i have been testing vendors for 2 years and i have learned bad batches come at times and thats of no fault of the stylist bc we are not able to test every bundle HOWEVER how you handle the concern is what matters most. She had my client send her the hair back then she emailed the client back saying there was nothing wrong with the hair and the issue must have been the stylist (me)not knowing how to work with the hair. My issue with that is I TOOK HER COURSE FOR TAPE INS! And the install technique wasnt the problem it was the hair quality….also if you have to have a PHD to work with your hair then you should probably mention that as a disclaimer. My client spent no less than $300 plus shipping to send it back to her and in the end i was blamed for the quality of the hair and no refund was issued…make it make sense please.

Keysha King: Thank you for your honesty!!! I was considering purchasing from that company and so glad I didn’t..and NO you were not dramatic cause I would’ve cried too about my hair and messing up my baby free days

Chef Fran: I brought straight hair from them and it was the second worst hair I ever purchase. After ordering hair from the company I usually order from they are a lot more expensive, but I know what I get for my money. I threw out their hair immediately. She does a fantastic job making her artistry look great! However, her hair is cheap quality and I don’t think real or it is mixed. Thank you for sharing

kendijah henry: This is so sad to see as a hairstylist I NEVER install curly tapeins and would not recommend anyone to get curly tapeins because I know this is something that is likely going to happen there is extremely high-quality curly tape in hair but it is ridiculously expensive and overtime still has a chance of tangling if not taken care of properly. I would recommend a loose wave or straight tape in for anyone interested in trying it’s highly unlikely to tangle like this. I’m just glad you were able to Cut your hair into a cute Bob.

Lo Nicole: Just bought 1 bundle of tape-ins from them because i was skeptical about the cost and the quality. Watching this video saved me so much unnecessary money. Smh! I hate that happened to you girl but your review is realllly helpful!

Betterme4lf: Yes you have every right to feel how you felt and I hate she handled it how she did cause as you stated she should have held manufacturer accountable. Glad you made her known cause I’ve been following her and says a lot about her character. Please do continue to educate us on journey being I would appreciate pitfalls of investing. People work to hard for money for merchants to not have a real concern. Thanks again.

Brittney Lathan: I purchased hair from them and had the same problem!!! I ordered curly tape ins and they were NOTHING like what was advertised on their website. I called - and they swore they hadn’t sent the wrong product but had no explanation for whyyyyyy the curly texture I received was nothing like the photo they advertise. My hair was matted, and tangled and it took hours to remove them. I’ll never order hair from them again!

CANDiiP0P: Hi love. I’m so sorry this happened to you. I wish I had seen something like this before. So the same exact thing happened to me last month, but not this brand. It was installed and supplied by my (former) stylist. I paid my stylist $832 for a custom wig and install for my birthday, engagement shoot, and eventually to wear for my wedding this Fall. I got it done June 4, and the frontal went bald within 5 days, and you could see the bald spot clear as day on my birthday June 9. The hair in the back acts beautifully but it’s like the frontal is some low budget brand. Even though it’s bleached I’ve bleached my own wigs with little experience and they never balded. She had the nerve to send me an invoice for $186 claiming that she tried her best to negotiate with whoever her supplier was (I asked to talk to them myself and she ignored it) for a new frontal but they would only give her $70 off. She said she would do the work for free to recolor and swap it out, when it ALL should’ve been free. I paid for a new frontal because I already invested in the wig, but my entire family and wedding planner (who recommended her, perhaps unaware of her poor customer service) was upset at her lack of accountability, and I felt you when you said you were emotionally drained and crying. I also am afraid to even take down the flat twists she did when prepping my hair because she and her daughter were SO rough with my hair both times I’d gone there, and I told her the first time I’ve been growing my hair out since 2017/2018 and it was mid back when I last washed it back in May before starting to go to her. I’m afraid to see if it’s damaged. The whole wig situation and how rough they were with my hair had me depressed for about two to three weeks after my birthday because the wig had given me so much confidence and then became a source of exhaustion. I don’t feel I should’ve paid her to replace it but I took two weeks to think about it, and decided to do what I felt I had the emotional energy to do at the time. I JUST shipped it to her a few days ago because I don’t even want to be around her anymore to swap it in person, and a whole new two handfuls of hair was still coming out the frontal when I brushed it out before shipping. I sent her that too, out of anger and proof. Could you please tell me your process of filing a claim? Would I potentially spend more filing a claim than the cost of the frontal?

Dream Beauty: I’m soo sorry this happened to you! I believe every word you are saying. My client had a horrible situation with that hair also. When my client contacted them I was blamed. SMH needless to say I only provide the hair for my tape-in installs now.

Just Lakeya: I used this company before. I used to go to a stylist that only used her hair. I didn’t get tape ins, I bought the Brazilian wavy. It was very thin and tangled. So, I decided to go to another vendor. However, my stylist is so loyal to Studio Techillo that I ended up going elsewhere, to avoid confrontation. Every time I asked for another suggestion, for another vendor she would state she doesn’t know of any. I kind of felt that she thought I couldn’t afford the hair and made me feel like this hair is the best quality. I totally disagreed. Loved the stylist, hated the hair.

CurlsNCoils: I bought the exotic curly tape ins from this company and I loved the quality. My only issue is that I have really thin hair and a small head so I only bought one bundle. That was my fault. I know that everyone has their own experience so I hate that you had a bad experience.

Kayah Mallory: This exact same thing happened to me from this company! Gratefully I didn’t have to cut my hair but the hair was so bad, it got nappy so fast! & every time I would try to comb it out it was a complete hassle & pulled out my hair. My hair was supper thin after taking them out from all of the combing & detangling I had to do. Also, do not color this hair!!!!

Vani Jay: THIS IS GOING TO BE LONG, SO SIT TIGHT LOL: I sold hair back in 2012-2015 due to the decline in quality with the vendors I frequented. My hair company was called VJ Studio Hair (Still even have my Facebook page up . Too lazy to take it down). I was even a part of and a regular of BHM (IFYKYK). When I sold hair, I would source it from people selling their own hair (prior to them cutting it). Just to be sure, I would have them send a photo or a video holding up a sign that included very specific words I requested that they write down. I wanted to be sure it was theirs. I didn't offer anything that wasn't actual virgin hair. These vendors today (and back then) title the hair they sell as 'virgin', when it's clearly been processed. I don't care if it's been altered by chemicals, steam, or anything else. It's NOT virgin hair. When I was in the game, I didn't even accept hair that was dyed, whether it be permanent or semi-permanent colour. Call me crazy, but I didn't even accept hair if they said they added heat to it (straightening their hair with a flat iron to be specific). I would spend days vetting the hair donors with 21 questions prior to buying their hair. I would even request that they either send me videos or photos of the cutting process. When they couldn't speak English, I'd use google translate to communicate with them. It was rare for me to even combine two donors' ponytails into one weft. They had to match PERFECTLY or it was a no for me dawg. I put so much blood, sweat, and tears into VJSH. I handled every aspect of my business. Washing, conditioning, taking out short hairs, taking out any greys, beautiful packaging, etc. With all that being said, I knew EXACTLY where my hair came from, the quality, weight, length, etc. I would then send it to a wefter that I trusted and worked with, so I even knew the integrity and strength of the wefts would hold strong through the test of time. I really wish I had stuck with it. My hair was on the higher end ápropos the pricing, but it was due to the amount of time, research, and passion I put into it. There were companies I rooted for back in the day (Jacebeauty, Arjuni, Eastern Hair, etc.), but they slowly had a downfall in not only their popularity, but their quality and customer service as well. I still have people hitting me up asking if I'll ever get back in the game. I even started hand making my own lace wigs when they JUST hit the market. The thing is, the market is severely oversaturated with hair companies selling for the low, I wouldn't stand a chance, regardless of the quality. I've NEVER had a bad review, return, or anything else for that matter. I handled every aspect of my business, and I feel that these companies today are lacking integrity.  I've followed that channel for years and I'm also one that thought S.T was popping. I planned to purchase from them and get my hair done by her whenever I made it down to ATL. Glad I never followed through. Like @Adrienne Lloyd suggested: SUE they asses! People believe there's some weird clause that prevents you from taking legal action when it comes to places like salons, tattoo shops, surgeons, etc. The thing is, yes, they're protected to an extent, but when it comes to damage, harm, etc. those contracts and/or user agreements become null and void. Thank you for this video. I hope others that watch this take this advice as well. It's time to hold these folks accountable for their sh!tty practices.

Ms oddballz: Thanks so much for sharing your story. You definitely have the right to be upset. They conned you then blamed you when you confronted in a calm respectful way. Them not taking responsibility and accountability proves to me that they know what they were doing is wrong. They just don't care. They are making easy money by selling people a dream. This basically like fast fashion, but in hair form. Looks good online and from the distance, but up close poor quality.

Simonisa S: Bought tape ins from her and they were HORRIBLE quality. They tangled and shed. I felt duped! DO NOT BUY THAT HAIR LADIES. I know it looks damn good in her videos but no.

Denise 93: So sorry you went through this, praying your hair flourishes from here on!

Mundara Kisa: I feel this!! I’m so sorry that you had to cut your hair and the way they responded to you was so arrogant and disrespectful. Thank you for sharing your insight I will definitely be careful who I purchase my tape ins from. ♥️

1AthenaMT07: Ok now I thought I was the only one who was scammed!!! I ordered 2 bundles of curly clip ins and man when I tell you this hair was straight trash I, could not believe it!!! I had watched her channel for sooo long and admired her technique and hair!!! When I received the clip ins I wanted to fly down to Atlanta!!!I emailed and then no answer, then another email no answer!!! Then I called and they were so rude!!! I asked why the hair felt wet!!!!??? They said it should not be wet!!! I asked sis they send me used hair because it only was it wet, the ends looked like they were straightened for a year and needed to be cut!!! It was absolutely ridiculous!!! She said I needed to wash and deep condition the hair, I was like dang I have to do all that to make it look decent!!! Ok I did that and it was the same but enough to wear one time!!! I was pisses because I was convinced she sold me some used damn hair!!! It was not even wrapped the same one had gold rope around the clips and the other one had zip ties!!! WHAT THE HELL!!!! I thought it was me I just gave up because they were not going to refund me!!! I wanted my money back!!! So, I had to take a loss!!!! beware queens do not buy their hair!!!

Alexis Dior: I never had an issue with her straight tape ins or curly bundles (the wax stick is nice too) but the clip ins was a WHOLE different story. I didn’t even get curly clip ins I got the wavy ones which is the straightest they carry. After the first wash that soft silky feeling disappeared and I had to load them up with conditioner to make them manageable enough to dry and style. It’s sad cuz I liked the clip ins the wefts laid super flat to my head and you couldn’t even tell I had extensions in. (I’m wearing them in my profile pic)

Tenise Jenkins: I thought I was the only one who had a problem with matting. The first 2weeks went well after that all hell broke lose. I bought 2 originally and had to buy another bundle to fill it out. I never used the 3rd bundle. I was shocked and disappointed when the hair matted.

Kaiy Marie Walker: Literally a horror story! So sorry. You handled this very professionally!

nellywellyful: I am a customer service manager and I Wholeheartedly agree with the “everyone wants to have a business but they don’t want to client service” I keep telling this to people! I also agree the onus should have not been on you the client, what a traumatic experience! OMG so sorry you experienced this

Chrystine Urielle: Girl this is soo unfortunate that happened to you and in all honesty hair company NEVER take accountability for the bad hair you may receive ! They have no control over what quality there customers may receive!!! This is insane

Blessed&Unbothered: That hair is trash, I’ve had trash hair and they are very unprofessional and I’m glad you put them out there. I’d love to see the reviews on yelp for that company.

JacQue T: Thank you for this…..i live in ATL and all ladies here should not support this type of business and the poor customer service you received. WE gotta stand up and together with these type of scam businesses…..!!!

Krissi30: I bought 3 sets of the exotic curly from them and the same thing happened to me. I was struggling to detangle/blend my curl pattern with the tape ins and I thought it was just my texture. I just wore it in a ponytail and let them slip out a few at a time

faith yayi: It was the multiple paragraphs of her REFUSING to take accountability…we really can’t trust these internet sensations

Patrice Howard: 'I’m so sorry this happened to you. I unfollowed and unsubscribed from her channel. My biggest pet peeve is bad customer service. Your videos clearly shows that there was nothing wrong with the installation of the tape ins. Plus there are a lot of people your comment section saying not only is her tape ins trash but all the hair she sells is trash.

Angel Carmen: Wow. I hate you had to experience that. I’m gonna share this on Tik Tok and Instagram. More ppl need to see this. These scammers cannot keep doing this!

bitesizekrys16: I was also very very disappointed with Studio Techilo. The tape ins didn't even straighten. Hair was not good quality at all. Seemed like it was human synthetic blend. I am so sorry you had this experience. I feel you girl!

Torri Stamps: I was planning on buying her from her but when I noticed the customer service I said oh hell no!!! And I’m glad I didn’t, I’m glad she showed your attitude before I brought anything from her

Life of Lacy: I had 2 clients come to me to remove their "microlinks" which really was a braidless sewin but they both complained about the hair being bad, which it was!

Monique Smith: I’m sorry you had to experience this with your hair. I’ve been shopping around for tape ins as well. I almost reached out to this same studiotechilo company to purchase them since my favorite hair company (Yummy Hair Extensions) wasn’t selling them at the time. Now that Yummy Hair Extensions is selling tape ins, I think I will purchase them from their company since I already trust the quality of their hair. I like how thick, soft and durable their hair is overall. Plus their tape ins come 20 inches in length and 40 tape ins a pack. I wish you the best on your hair journey with tape ins. Thank you for sharing your story and providing your honest opinion. God Bless

මේ කරුණාවන් මහත්මය: It’s really not for natural coily/curly hair. Like just get clipins. If they don’t tell you this during the consultation, you are giving away your money and signing up for serious damage to your hair! Our hair draws up on the curled hair- you can NOT ADD CONDITIONER/OILS to the tapins. The knots will start AT THE TAPE. There’s no wining. *She should have gave you a FULL REFUND and/or a few appointments to get your hair back on track.* _she also should have contacted her hair distributor_

Ra'Q Solid: This is terrible customer service. I am so sorry you had to deal with this. I have purchased hair from them previously and will not do so again based off your experience. So thank you!

MsGlobegirl: So glad I came across this video. I thought this company was reputable and did good work. You saved me a lot of coins and time.

BIGGIE SHORTY: I was suspicious of ordering from them when I saw what she charges for those ebay tension rollers she sells.

BellaYmettes: Omg her work looks so good i was about to purchase some hair from her I’m so glad I didn’t I was also looking at the new wig she came out with to buy that as well but omg I’m so sorry that happened to you girl I know how you feel I went through this A year ago with some other hairstylist selling cheap hair!! I’m also A Hairsylist and this is the reason I don’t sell hair I been looking for A good hair vendor all seem to be scamming but what she did was wrong hunty

Rainbow Brite : Thanks for the video. I was supposed to buy tape in’s from her but I never got a chance as I don’t live in ATL. After reading the other comments, seems like a lot of people have issues with her and the hair. I’ll keep my money.

J Baby: I’m going to tell you what that was… first off, I’m so sorry that you had to go through this experience. They should have at least helped you out in some way. That hair was NOT completely human hair. It could have had 3 strands of human hair in it but that is what synthetic hair will do. Also, I’m my experience I’ve seen this EXACT matting with weave hair, including package hair like Sensational. As soon as hot water hits it, it mats or melts and turns into a NEST. THAT WAS NOT USER ERROR!!! That was NOTTTTT human hair. Even 4c hair detangles with conditioner. Again, that was/is NOTTTTT human hair. Unless they cut it off of a person themselves, you are going by faith of what these vendors tell you it is. So Sorry for your experience. Just cut your hair evenly and it will flourish and come back.

9nklp07: So glad I watched your video. I was going to purchase from her but will take my business elsewhere. I was also planning on booking with her, but no thank you. I've dealt with enough rude stylist. When will these stylists learn that being rude will get you nowhere, especially with all this social media.

Alysse Mcallister: Looking at it I can tell it is definitely a synthetic blend this seems to be happening a lot people are constantly being scammed by these big name people which is completely unfortunate

Jazzmin Evans: Omg I had the SAME experience with her itip microlinks. It was sooo bad and I actually manage my hair very well. I didn’t even have curly hair it was straight and the quality was just sooo bad even after initially installing it. It’s way to expensive to be that bad. It literally makes no sense. So tired of these scams and attitudes from these Atlanta Stylist

LaJe Official: I had a bad experience with this company as well. I ordered the same texture twice( bundles once and tape ins the second time) and it was a completely different texture the second time and it was on my birthday! and when i told her she basically told me “it’s not my fault you didn’t read the description of each different option” and that was that, no customer service skills whatsoever. I will never order hair from this company again simply because of the bad customer service.

Mystical Magical Babe: Wow!!!!Sounds like you had a bad batch of hair. Sorry that was your experience. I’m a licensed cosmetologist. More than likely the hair was over processed based on the way you described how it behaved after the installation. ( very dry/ hard to manage/tangled easy)

Royally Lovely: I agree and stand with you! I ordered a wrap around ponytail from her company. It was the worst hair. It was great when I wet and detangled it. When it became dry, the hair was tangled, matted and dry as ever. I only wore it once. It was so embarrassing because I was on a trip and I didn't know it would turn out like that when it dried. I threw it out. I paid over $100 for that mess.

Love Yuyu: Thank you for this video!! Not only was I SUPER INTERESTED in tape-ins and I was gonna buy from them! But nah no mam. Im so sorry that happened to you. Thank you for the warning!! ❤️

K: In 2020 I bought curly clip ins from her hair studio (don’t remember the location, my mom went to go pick them up for me that day) & she charged over $100 for em, when I installed the clip ins that’s when I realized there wasn’t enough to go all over my head. I ended up having to take em out right after lmao & the clip ins were also very thin.

Amina: Regardless, it is so traumatizing to have to cut your hair like that. I'm sorry, love.

Gisselle Lopez: Oh man, I was planning on buying the curly hair she made a video on putting it on herself and I even recommended it to a friend. Welp, I won’t be purchasing now!

Snootygirl Beauty: I’m type 4 natural as soon as I got hot my hair reverted I’m glad I did mine myself but I was upset I spent 200 for 80 pieces and the style lasted me one day ‍♀️

Loved82: Great video. Because a lot of use are fooled by these well known stylists. That’s exactly how micro links thinned out my already thin hair and I never looked back I got me some clip ins and focused on my natural hair. The doo growth and sulfur 8 grease mix helped thicken my hair a lot.

Danielle Richards: Sorry you had that experience. I have had the 22 inch wavy tape ins installed for 2 weeks, washed and blow dried it myself and haven’t had any issues, maybe it’s the texture of the hair I have. It definitely takes forever to wash and blow dry it bc you have to be meticulous with each section. Overall I’m happy with this texture, maybe I was lucky idk.

Joan Sledge: I literally just took my hair out lastnight. I thought that I was going to be bald. Fortunately I was able to take it out without cutting my hair, but it took me three hours. I ordered the curly hair. The hair was very nice while it was straight.

Martha Kirkland: You are absolutely right .. The customer experience is everything and for them to say it’s your fault ..shame on them ..

diplovely72: The beauty supply down the street from me buys trash hair and over prices it. Her hair sounds like theirs Now I buy my hair from Amazon because I can return it if I have doubts.

Jelly Bean: I had a bad experience with that salon when I went there to get a press n curl( her power went out and her assistant forgot to tell her I was waiting for about 3 hours)and she made me pay full price.

hope: I was thinking about buying some of her hair off her site-you saved me a lot of money really appreciate your honesty

Lachelle's A Weirdo: I’m glad for this video. I was about to invest in the tape in extensions for black woman. SMH ‍♀️

Alivia Brittain: I also bought curly tape ins from her. Terrible quality. Dry, tangled, and would not straighten. My stylist told me it was bad quality as soon as she opened it but still tried to work with it. $500 spent on hair that I took out in two weeks

T. T: 40 pieces/20 sandwiches is actually usually one bundle. Don’t go by the number of pieces, go by the grams per pack. 40 pieces is 100 grams. Some vendors also have 25 pieces in 100 grams but the tape is wider/longer and those are very rare.

TIM: I had the exact same experience.. I purchased blonde curly tape ins from Studio Techilo (not sure if you also got it from there) my hair knotted soo bad it created a tease every day. I had to cut so many of my hair of because there was no way I was able to detangle that.. it was crazy

Cammy N: Tape-ins, microlinks etc, always look sketchy to me. I have never really seen anyone take them out. I’m like hummmm, must be some major damage afterwards.

B Hun: I bought hair from her it was horrible quality - she sent the wrong texture I got really bad customer service. The hair is nothing you can’t get from Amazon or aliexpress . It’s grossly over priced. No accountability. She is a pretty girl pushing basic hair that is a talented STYLIST. 10/10 would NOT recommend her hair.

Lolo 307: So appreciative of your transparency. I watch her channel and would always put hair in the cart but never pull the trigger.

so be it one: OMG…. I bought a curly u-part wig and that thing matted up so badly. I thought it was me, I was new to all things wigs I used the products she recommended in her video followed all of her instructions to the T. It looked great wet , when it dried it felt like a Brillo pad. I took it to my friends who styles wigs for cancer patients to see if she could help me out with it….she told me exactly what this young lady said in the video that this hair is trash. So we made a upart wig using cheat Amazon bundles and it was better than that $300 u part. Haven’t purchased anything else from them. And oh yeah there is now a disclaimer that this kinky curly hair is high maintenance

Ericka Clark: I’ve had a similar experience just not with tape-ins. I had to Cut my hair in a bob to compensate for my hair. the person who caused damage did not want to be held accountable when it came to my hair and the service that was provided. This is my crown!! I take great care of my hair and I expect the same when it comes to business owners/professionals.

Amani Perrin: Omg I had the same experience with BetterLength Hair! Horrible experience! We can’t trust whose popular, they give us low quality hair

Almond Brown: I've been considering purchasing tape ins. Thank you so much for posting this video. I will definitely avoid this company.

Makeup With Diabetes Louisiana: Y’all I did a video about this lady and her bad hair a year ago. The “exotic curly” was so bad.

Thee House Plug 🏡🔌: No, I just bought the same exotic curly tape in hair from this company and it tangles very bad and is very dry. I’ve only had it in for two weeks. My hair does not tangle as bad as yours but it’s definitely sub par hair. Idk if it’s just the specific curly texture I bought but you’re 100% correct. It also does not press out like the hair in the video tutorials she has up on YouTube.

I_AmDiam: SMH they handled that completely wrong I would sue them !

Anne Alessandri: I’m sorry you went through this but thank you for exposing them.

Le G.: I really appreciate you doing this video, you shed light on so many important things to take into consideration
