Hey everyone Hey guys, Cabrina here and Daniella, and today we have an awesome color correcting tutorial for you, guys today., But first Cabrina had a really good idea of reading an inspiring quote before each video. So I'm gon na have her start and take that away.. You really love this quote today, so it says ``, Some entrepreneurs think how can you make a lot of money, but the better way is to think ``. How can I make people's lives a lot better ?''? If you get it right, the money will come.''. So why we love that quote, is you know we're new business owners and entrepreneurs now, so we think about money, a lot, because it's just our tendency, it's the way we think, but what that quote really brings you back to is how to make people be happier And feel happier. And to build them through your business.. Absolutely so, once you do that the money will come so we hope that's inspiring for you guys, today., Okay. So let's dive into what we're gon na teach you guys today, which is all about color correcting.. First, we're gon na start off with the level system the undertone and then how to correct it from there.. So we're gon na begin we're gon na start with level 10 ultra pale blonde., The undertone is pale, yellow and the corrective is going to be violet.. So what that means is and what our favorite toners are, is the 9p series., So I'm gon na hold that up for you guys, so it's right, here. And what we like to do to make a level 10 in Redken Shades. Eq it's cleared out. So I would use one ounce of 9P and then one ounce of clear and then two ounces of processing solution, and that would be my color corrective for that yellow, undertone. Yeah. I agree I totally love that., Sometimes I'll, even add in to my level tens I'll. Do a cap a cap of 9V and clear and then that also too can cut a lot more of the violet if they have a ton of more of it.. I also always use 9T. I know you do also so 9T. I'M gon na show you guys right here, so that's 9T and T is for titanium and it counteracts warmth and creates ultra cool metallic tones. And the base is gray and silver blue. So what I love to use this for is that white white silver hair.. It'S my favorite., So I'll do one ounce, 9T ounce, clear and then two ounces of processing solution and that's, like my ultra white blonde clients., Alright, so we're gon na get into level 9. So that's very light. Blonde., The undertone is yellow and the corrective tone is violet again as well. Okay. So what we like to do is since most nine levels need to look more natural, we like to add either an N or an NV into the formula with a violet., So we're gon na start off with 9N. I'M gon na show you guys really quick. So here it is right here it's a pretty sandy blonde and it neutralizes unwanted warmth.. The base is brown to tan plus blue violet, so you already have blue and violet in that tone. So it's great for color correcting because it's already gon na cool it down, but also still look natural. And always remember. The ends tend to get a little dark. Like if you're blonde wants to stay blonde clear that out again and do one to one with that, because you already have the corrective base in there. But if you want extra power, I'll normally add like a cap or two of 9NA or a cap or two of violet 9V and that's kind of how we do the basis of our our coloring.. So I'm gon na also talk about 9NB, because I know this is my favorite. The NBs are literally Beautiful one of our favorites for just like a natural cool blonde and the same thing. If you want it to be a little cooler, but still have that, you know warm brown tone behind it, so it doesn't look too unnatural. You could add, like a cap or two full of violet and then put it in the NV. So I'm gon na show you that right now., So that's the NV right there, it's very like chestnutty and warm, which is beautiful on our client. So we love both of those tones.. Okay, now we're getting into level 8, which is light blonde.. The undertone is pale, yellow and the corrective is blue blue-violet. So we're gon na talk about the NA series first, which is natural ash. It'S totally amazing. It is so good for removing those orange tones. So let me just read what it actually is made up of. It is made up of black to gray plus blue violet, and it's really strong like super strong. So what we recommend is also adding a neutral into your NA if you're gon na use it don't use the whole thing, because we've noticed it tends to pull very like almost money, green right, yeah. It'S too muddy on I've it on a 9 level, a girl that just I want to neutralize - and I just used that pigment and it pulled really way too cool. It didn't look natural at all, so I suggest really watching how much you use and your formulas.. So what we recommend is in of 8NA and then half an ounce of a neutral just to keep that balance and that warmth and I would also use the same level so like if you did an a 8NA one-ounce use. Half an ounce of a ten just to make sure it's not gon na pull too green on them, and I just want to show you the swatch really quick, so here's the watch you can tell it has like that little bit of green and you just don't Want to use too much so your hair stays nice and natural looking.. So next we're going to talk about the 8T, which I use the T's a lot.. I know you're more of a V person, I'm an 8NA 8N and 9 N, like that's that those are my favorites. Yeah I found T's are one of my favorites for a very, like ashy, neutral root tone. So if you have somebody who has a very warm root, I'll grab a T either 9T 8T 7T, 6T they're all great and they really make the root. Look like that. Just super cool ashy tone. So I'm gon na show you the 8T right now, and this is also great great for color, correcting with somebody who wants like a silver tone, I'll mix 8T and 6T together, and it created that perfect, like gray ashy, silver tone, yep just make sure to get Them past a level 9, because then you'll really see that ashy silver tone. If you want to go with all the trends right now., So the base of it is gray and silver blue and it counteracts warmth and creates ultra cool metallic tones. So I really love the 8Ts, it's one of my favorites and then we're gon na talk about the GN's, which have been my savior for a long time. Me too, I love the GN's yeah. So first we're gon na explain what it is, so it cools neutralizes and minimizes unwanted brassy tones and has gray plus green-yellow, so that sounds kind of scary, but the green really comes through and the yellow still keeps the hair feeling natural. So I I really love them. Yeah. I love using them on a 6-level they're, one of my favorites actually for like creating those tones and like really removing that warmth.. So I'm gon na show you the swatch right now. You definitely tell it's called ivy.. I mean you could see the green., It's there., It sounds scary, but it really really works.. It'S all for your red, like anything to remove red green, removes red.. So always remember. That. Yep always look at the color wheel., Alright level, seven! So it's to be medium! Blonde and the undertone is orange pure orange and the corrective is pure blue. So what we're talking about is the NAs, the Bs and the GNs. Those are our favorites for the level seven and what we're gon na start off with again is the NAs. So same thing: black to gray, plus blue violet, and it has that really really powerful tone in there and to help us correct those orange level 7s that we're trying to pull up and color correct., Especially if you're doing a highlight low-light and you have a girl That you're correcting and through the low light you have a lot more orange because you're lifting and there's still a lot of that background. Color. The NA is perfect for that at an N and a 7NA, and it really neutralizes and makes it look beautiful and ashy. Same thing with the GNs again. You can mix a ounce of 6GN and then an ounce of 8GN and make your 7GN. If you want them to be at a level seven. A lot of times I'll, just use 6 GN fully because they don't mind being a teeny bit deeper and then it cancels out even more of that green tone or that orange tone. So I would either go for the GNs or the NAs.. We'Ve also found that blue really covers orange and it's right across from the color chart I'll put that out for you guys. So I think a lot of times. You think only green works for orange, but blue really really works. You you told me that years ago mm-hmm she like started that for me. So I take the blues are kind of limited right now they have a 9B which is great but I'll. Add a O1B into my formula, which is super dark and you can take the back of your comb and you can put it in the 1B and let like three drops in just to give it that extra kick of blue if you're having a really hard time With that orange., And even like the NA series, has blue and violet so you'll have like a double pigment and a double amount of strength in those tones. All right, so we're getting into level six which is dark blonde. The undertone is red orange and the corrective is blue-green, so we're gon na start with the GNs again so remember it is minimizing unwanted brassy tones and it's gray, / green, yellow. So I'm gon na show you the 6GN, which is much more power, packed with the green tone in it. So I love using this for people when we're doing like an overall color correction and I'm bleaching her up. It makes the most natural light brown color, which is really really pretty for people who don't want to leave the salon looking orange so I'll. Take that at full capacity. I don't know about you, but I never dilute that product. I just use, I think, like 6 and below, I don't really dilute them, because I want that full power and then we also love 6T for combating that orange color. This really like ashes people out, which I know you love doing so let me show you 6T. The iron this is one of my favorite. Yeah and Daniella actually has been teaching me. We doing a lot of it like for people that been going really really blonde and they come in. They have a lot of yellow orange. We will redo their whole color, literally we'll put on like a 6T like 5NA 6NA and then we'll go back and we'll do highlights and tone, and it's been just like phenomenal for, like just rebooting the whole color and having that color correction, we also love 6NA.. I personally same thing like NAs, I would add a neutral because it is so powerful um be careful using the na s alone without putting a neutral in there. You do not want your clients to look green, so I would do an ounce of 6NA and then an ounce of 6N and then two ounces of processing, solution and that'll be a beautiful like very cool ashy brown color for them., Alright. So we're going into level five, which is a light brown, the undertone is red and the corrective is green. So what we are gon na describe because we use 5N constantly, so it's brown to tan, plus blue and violet.. So again, the N series has that warmth that neutral tone, so you don't look too green or blue, but then it also has the corrective in it. So the blue and violet.. So it really does keep it. Natural. 5N is walnut. It'S probably one of my favorite shades of all time. I probably use this tone. I don't know like six times a week. I don't know about you, but I use 5N. I use 5N a lot and now that you want to see so much more dimension. Everyone wants so much more. You want to go a little darker and go lighter in between those with the highlights to make it pop even more.. I know I used smoke the other day, which is 5NA and I absolutely loved it. So I'm gon na show you guys what that looks like, so it kind of looks a little bit like it. Kinda has like a violet tone to it more than any of these other ones. It just made the most beautiful, like ashy I'll post a picture. It was like an ashy, I don't know like beauty was just a beautiful brunette. So a client is looking for that, like almost like titanium silver smokey, cool cool, brunette yeah, it was perfect. So try the 5NA. If you guys are battling that orange at the five level and the 5N, you guys will love it., Okay, here's our last one level, four and that's a medium brown and the undertone is red violet and the corrective is yellow-green. So again, we're gon na talk about the NA series and then also the 4N is one of my favorite shades. So I'm gon na show you the 4NA first. So this is storm cloud. It'S so pretty! That'S anybody who has like a very warm for maybe from the sun lifting it or you know, you're in that color correcting phase. I would just do again full power 4NA all over, so it really removes all that warmth., And I also I love 4N actually Sal Sal and Sharon Choi their salon. She posted a photo with 4N all over, and I was literally obsessed with it. Like I loved the 4N, it's called chicory I'll show you guys, so it is a base of brown to tan with blue-violet and it just takes out unwanted tones. So I would mix that and if you wanted even more power, you could do 4NA half and a half and that'll really take out any of the unwanted warmth that you don't want. It'Ll be really nice really pretty., Okay and for level three two and one there isn't any corrective tone. What you have in level. Three is violet the darkest brown level. Two is blue, violet and black is blue. So obviously, you can see that they don't really need any correcting if you're correcting to get to a natural tone.. So from there three two one. If you want to add more pigment to color correct you can., If you want it to be more blue or more violet, you can absolutely do 3B or 1B is really nice, but most of those levels, you're really not gon na see a ton of warmth. So, if that's the case, I would just use 1B and 3B and you'll love that cool tone on there. Okay, everyone. Thank you so much for watching. We really hope this video helps. You guys understand color, correcting more either in the salon and at home, and don't forget to always look back at your color wheel and your level system you ever get confused. That will lead you in the right direction, so we're also doing a giveaway. So one lucky winner is gon na win. All of this. All you need to do is follow Cabrina and I on our Instagrams @ CabrinaBianca and @ DaniellaBenita and tag 2 friends to follow us on our Instagrams and that's it so I'm gon na post all those details below. Thank you again so much for watching everyone and we'll see you guys at the next video Bye.

Vee Jovan: I love that quote! I’ve struggled with balancing money with gratification through making people feel good. And I came to the same conclusion as well that as long as I’m making people happy and making them feel better and making their life better through my work then the money will come because they will continue to come back. This allowed me to focus on my clients and not my dollar. It is absolutely paid off.

DelilahZoe: BEST VIDEO! Thanks for going over everything thoroughly. SWATCHES would have been the icing on the cake -- or more photos of results from the toners you mentioned for each situation. THANK YOU!!

Liberate We The People: This is an amazing video for someone new to shades! I have been using Shades EQ for years but not to its fullest potential. Thank you girls for introducing me to different shades and how I might be able to use them from day to day

Adventureanne: THANK YOU LADIES! THIS WAS PRESENTED SO WELL AND VERY EASY TO DECIPHER & UNDERSTAND

Barby Moran: Just what I needed. Very informative! I use 8na full strength once, and I definitely got that ashy green look. It’s fun to experiment and share formulas. I love blue for canceling out orange brass. Thank you, ladies!

Christine N: Wow this was super helpful! Thank you for explaining everything fully

jessica roybal: I’m so thankful for coming across this. Wow, you ladies are so Wonderful for doing this! I’d love to see a tutorial as you mix the color/ real results. With all the levels. Taking the time to explain is powerful and positive. Much love to you. I want you to be my teacher now at school. I want to be an expert at color like you two. Can the next tutorial be Showing how to mix, apply, time, with all the levels and end result with blow dried. I feel as if I’m just being taught only about bleaching, leaving client to wait in between and then coming in again for bleach and toners.

Miho Arai: This is the most helpful and easiest tutorial about hair toning and colouring. Bow down to both of you.

Lorrie Webster: This video was SO helpful in learning how shades work. I love color correcting videos and thank you for the formulas!

Morgan Windle: Been looking for something like this for hours--thank you so much for boiling it down so easily!

Music Junkie: Hi girls, I’ve essentially grown up in my mom’s hair salon and although I’ve observed her cutting, coloring, and styling hair all my life, there are just too many critical lessons and processes that must be taught and understood when applying any of those skills. And because it always looked so effortless to watch, and I thought I could do anything I put my mind too, (lol) I convinced myself that I wanted to do my own from now on...lol. That was 15 years ago and I’m still making huge mistakes, and most are related to color! Most of my knowledge pertaining hair have come from “how-to” tutorials and through trial and error. There are amazing videos that provide clear step by step demonstrations, the products used, and tips along the way. What’s hardly ever mentioned in any of the hair coloring tutorials is color theory, and what you must know personally about your own hair first. You guys explore this topic beautifully and in depth.. The info and content in this video is absolutely priceless and I wanted to thank you so much! I love your videos, Danielle Benita!!! I’ve watched and learned from you for a long time! You have by far the most knowledgeable, down to earth, quality color-based information, out there!

I am with Him: You two are awesome! Great job explaining but keeping it simple.

JosieLand~: You guys are awesome ! I'm really glad I came acrossed your channel ! I'm starting to learn about this color line and switch to just using this mostly and you guys really help educate and helped me understand what the letters actually mean !

April Reyes: I absolutely Hate watching any video over 6min long I and was pretty reluctant at first about watching this entire video but, you ladies nailed it! Your video is very informative to those like myself, who rather skip the salon and get the work done at home. Thank you for taking the time to explain the color correction process. ‍♀️‍♂️

Ethos Code: Thank you for breaking down shades eq and how to use them. This was very helpful. More videos please :)

Simran Binner: OH MY GOD FINALLY SOMETHING SIMPLE BUT INFORMATIVE

Capt. Morgan: I found your video and I’ve been a hairstylist/chemical specialist for 30 years. Well done ladies!!

Tye M.: Thank you both for this video I appreciate this is the best video I have seen for color correcting!!! Love how you both simplified everthing ( I am no pro) lol Also I have some questions ....what level processing solution is best? 10, 20, 30 for toning orange and brassiness?

Boo Cat: Wow!! Thank you so much for this! I am a cosmetologist and the newer shades eq colors had me confused ‍♀️. This cleared up so much confusion and questions i had!

Lissa G: This is so helpful. I was looking for something exactly like this.

Adrienne Thiery: One of the most informative hair videos I've seen, great work ladies

bethy: I’m a brand new stylist & this was SO HELPFUL

Everyyoueverymiau: Thank you so much. I used 1:1 9T and 9V with a splash of 9N on yellow hair and I loved it. I also got a lot of compliments.

Cassondra Octavia: Super Amazing Videos!!!! This is exactly what I needed to clarify this color line and the scenarios are ones we all can relate too.

Clodagh Hearne: Thank you both so much for this much needed informative tutorial .SO well explained ..... saved for reference

mccalla75: Hi, Thanks for a great tutorial. I am going to be doing a balayage and have bought 9VG to tone. I've also bought the clear. Would you suggest going half 9VG and half clear or should I also be adding in a 9N or something else? I'm planning on lightening to around level 9. Thanks

mooner Lyn: Very informative. So helpful ❤️ thank you ladies

Alice Reighley: Thank you for sharing your ratios and formulas. I always ask people to share not bc I want to copy the exact formula, but bc I want a feel for “how much” of something you’re actually adding. It helps me get a feel for the potency of each tone!

Rosie Robichaud: wow! this video is UH-MAZING! thanks for breaking it down like that for us! this is exactly what i needed! <3

Judy Klynstra: Great info on the na’s...I too, got the dreaded “green” at level 7 and I was hoping it would be the ticket! I’ll now mix it with the n series! Thanks for making the video

Alice Pellegrini: Thank you so much for sharing all of this knowledge! What would you suggest with a level 10 with an orange casting to color correct to a ash blonde?

Johnny Gonzalez: So helpful and informative thank you!!!

Makayla Webb: This was SUPER helpful. Thank you!

Laura Acosta: Wow!!! I've never seen a video explaining the eq shades. I'm so happy I found you. Question: my natural hair is brunnette but I have been dying it with 6Bv (brunnette violet and 4RV (dark brown red violet). I removed the color and my hair is now light red and gold. I would like to go silver with dark undertones. Any advise please. Thank you so much.

Rennie Ackerman: hey daniella - love your tutorials. need your advice. I'm a 5 brunette with 20% ash gray growth. I want to "usher in the gray" but I want to add a couple of lowlights in a very ashy cool tone so that the salt-n-pepper doesn't look so "salty." I saw on the redken website "SLATE BROWN" that was a perfect color for me, but I don't see where a consumer can get that. now I'm thinking I should just tone with redken "iron" toner. curious to hear your opinion. THANKS

Yvonne Emily: Thank you so so much and explaining the base of the toners! So informative, maybe some demos soon thank you!!

Joy Hines: What is your favorite root smudge color on someone who has blonde balayage? Also what is your favorite toner for someone that's a level 8 but wants to be a 9?

Chanda Massey: This is so helpful and awesome!! Thank you!! :)

Clodagh Hearne: Could you please recommend a formula to use on level 9/10 highlights to achieve a creamy blonde tone. Many thanks again for this wonderful tutorial

B R: Hey girls! I’m stuck in quarantine in NYC and I’m so desperate to change my hair color. I have a dark stripe from when a hairdresser dyed my hair black by accident (long story) in between some balayage and natural brown root growth. I want to try to cover the entire head up with a 5n/6n color combo. Any tips???

Sonya Dunlap: Love this very helpful! I am trying to do a similar base color to Casey Holmes hair now. I’m not sure what her base color is it’s more of a ash brown so: 1. I was going to use 5n and 5na because of what you said about the 6n & 6na but I believe I am a level 5 right now. So I’m thinking the 6 would be too light correct? 2. For my highlights can I use the shades eq processing solution for the mix, instead of getting a 10 or 20 vol solution? Thank you! Love your videos. ❤️

JC JC: Fantastic video ! Ive been using shades eq and doing a lot of color correction! Just when you think “what else is there to learn.... I stumbled on your video ! Why use double developer?? I rarely use clear because I tone wet hair and for some reason I decided the color would last longer not using clear... can you do another video on 1 why you double the processing solution at high levels 2. How to keep violet and N at 8-9 not looking flat or overly cool 3. How you get those beautiful golden beige tones for those ladies that don’t want to be super blonde

Donna Kaye: I like the information, but I prefer to see the actual hair that you have done to combat that orange color. What do you also use to protect the clients hair from breaking?

Ann Kovalenko: Very professional both of you explained it . Thanks for time and effort

Deepa B.Montanez: Thank so much! I have blond HL, and a nice brown base. So now I like to do my own touch-up. 1)Can I do a root touch with a 5N? 2) What should I use for toning, again I have blond highlights. I do have some brass but not alot... thank you in advance!!!

Yvonne Emily: Thank you so so much for all the info.! Especially the base colors.. So helpful! Maybe some demos much appreciated!!

Msmakeupbeauty00: Love this! I'm a cosmetologist but not a good one lol I didn't learn much in school so videos like these help me

Brandii L: I did a color the other day. It is Goldwell 7BN and 6KG equal parts 20 volume on roots and 10 volume on ends. It pulled more of a 6 Copper. I was told to do 3/4 8GN and 1/4 Clear Shades EQ with processing solution to help cool down the copper tone. Please advise.

dfwlove: Thank you so much for taking the time to post this video is so informative I appreciate it

Kristin J: Best breakdown ever. Thank you ladies!

Diana P: Super helpful!!! Thank you so much.

michaela styles: soo informative thank you ladies!!

Nicole R: I’m a newer stylist and I’m still trying to figure out my clients right levels to tone properly. Any tips? There were a few times it didn’t take, which I’m sure it was because I used the wrong level.

belkis438: Excellent!! Thank you ladies so much!

Beach Beauty: Great Video! Thank you for covering all shades! So many videos only focus on blonde!

Eka Traille's and Family in US: Thank you so much. I am so new with redken so this video is really helping me a lot.

Kristóf: Thank you for the video! I'm not a professional and lately have been wondering what will happen if I put a 7-something color like 7N+7NA on level 9 lifted hair? Is it going to turn out like a level 8-ish color?

Terri D: can you tell me what combo you would do if I want to go toward a gray and my hair is highlighted with slight yellow undertones level 9? I bought 09B and did a test and think I saw a little of that green. What should I combine it with to cancel that and get the v/b gray look without green?

Katie Boyko: On a level 6 or 7 that has a good amount of warmth. Can you tone with a 9N or 9Na to get some of the warmth to neutralize? With out depositing a level?

Nicole Arellano: Thank you for this video so informative!!

Ver Rau: great video!! Can you maybe give me some advice? I lifted my roots with 20 vol developer and redken color gel laquers and my roots unfortunately turned orange :-( Can you recommend a way to color correct my roots with shades EQ? I am a level 6 and was actually trying to lift my roots to a lighter but cool, ashy tone...!!

Rebekah: This was wonderful, thanks! Looking forward to more on the VB's!!!

Taylor Jacobson: Daniella I love your videos! When you have a chance to run us through their new 10's would you pretty please?

Jasmine m.c: I had a level 9 yellow brassy roots, used a 9b equal parts with clear, and its super patchy, with hues of green . What would counteract green, a reddish toner? ( was aiming for ashy grey)

Gina b Monat / Ink-T Designs: LOVE this video!! You two are the best! Thank you!!

Bea: Best tips ever, thank you both.

Dorelle G: Thankyou ladies that was great info. Could you do it with other products too ?

Gergana Stoeva: Hey, your video is so helpful! I wanted to ask you if the Redken shades eq need to be apply on dry or wet hair?

Chia Nazario: Please make more shades videos!

N MI: What do you think about a 9na + 9gb on level 9 hair with a little bit of brassy bits? Thank you for your video.

Marianne Brows: This is exactly what I need Thanks so much! Redken have the best education!

Liliane Babineau: wow awesome knowledge ladies the best ive heard yet in 31 years clear speaking both of you .inspiring and very knowledge big hugs to both of you

Surmayi: That was great ! Just changed my mind from putting NA on my roots alone - will go with N first to see how that goes. ❤️

K CG: Hello, after I bleached my hair, I put on a blond irisee ash color and my hair looks a bit greenish now. It's probably due to the ash. How do I neutralize the green, without becoming too warm (I know red neutralizes green), since I don't like warm tones, but I would really like to get rid of the green/grey tone I have right now. I also don't want to darken the hair. What would you suggest? Thank you.

Vikki Spain: Hi Daniella, could you please give me an advise. I have got Asian hair, when I bleach it I see red pigment, what redken eq numbers should I use to tone my hair and neutralize red to have kind of honey shades?

Miss Viking: I’m white blonde but tired of being so blonde and tired of all the damage. Last month I bleached w 5v and bleach and it came out l.9. I think I want to stay at this level. What do you recommend for me so I can remain light ashy blonde? I wanted to buy Garnier 10A but just found out it has 30vol in it. I was the beautiful ashy blonde. Would be willing to do highlights near my face. But really want the illusion of blonde blonde blonde baby!

Pia Bollenbach: Hey guys this is by far the best video on shades eq! I died my hair to a Dark brown but it always lifts to a red and orange undertone. Can I mix a gn with an na?

Cathy Shepard: I am so new at this toner coloring. I like very light blonde but don’t like dull. I tried the chrome but I don’t like that gray look. Way too much. Thank you for your videos!

A N: I used straight lightest ash violet on my level 9 hair and it turned dark brown purple , I couldn’t get it out . I assumed I should have mixed it with clear or something but idk , thank you

Summertime Jay: Uh oh! Im trying to go for a ashy blonde with really bright ends (somewhat platnium tips). I bought 7na/7n for my roots, but got 9na/9v for my ends. Will my ends look green? Should I add a few drops of 7n in the ends formula to cancel out the green or do you think I will be fine?

Adriana Zuniga: Loved it thank you!!!!

Kelsi miquel Hubler: I saw someone use a 9v + 9t + 9p + clear what are your thoughts as far as how much you should use if you want that really white platinum look?

Karen Dubrall: I have level 10 hair that always has yellow in it. I just purchased 9v, 9p, 9g, and crystal clear. Will these make my hair white blonde without any gray or silver? Or do I need the the 9t and/or 9n? Thank you

Veronica Cox: Very informative...thanks! what would you suggest here.... I was a level 9 ash but wanted to brighten up a bit....used an 8a demi and totally turned to that dull mulky green tone. I want to go back but 9 brighter but cool/warm tone.

Joy Hines: Is it possible to brighten up a level 8? What would you put on a root that's 5n and brassy if it's too dark? Can I do 10 eq? I tried doing 09p and 09v it helped some but it didn't lighten much.

KWLND: Hi ladies ! Thanks for the informative videos question with the formula 1 ounce of 9NB , 1 cap full of 9V = how many ounces ? Of the processor

risingsun49: Thank you. Im a level 5 and have reddish orange peeking thru on my ends i need to neutralize it so i really appreciate this.

Janet OConnell: Hi - any help you can offer is greatly appreciated - I used a blue klenditioner that has faded to a lime/minty green. I'm desperate to get back to my highlighted medium blonde hair. I'd like to try an eq gloss, but don't know what color. While I'd like to stay light, I'm not afraid what color I end up, just need to be rid of this green. HELP!

S M: Excellent ! Thank you so much !

Bethany Perry: Help! I have uneven and spotty bleached hair :( I was wanting to red colour correct/ pre pig my hair and then dye the whole head light brown (I’m naturally a blonde) When correcting should I only apply it to the bleached spots or all over my head? Thanks xx

Neda: This video is amazing and just what I was looking for. Do you know if this can be applied to all colour lines? For example is the NA rule the same for Joico?

Aesia: Question: how can we purchase the swatches book you have. I can't seem to find it. And thank you so much. This video is so helpful! And I have watched countless on shades eq!

Viviane Abreu: Love the video! You girls are the best!!!! Would be a natural blond tone using equal parts of 9Na ( mist) + 9p ( opal glow)? I don’t like it too grayish but champagne with gold tones ( mix) appreciate if you can help

Angel That HairBender: Hello thank you for your explanation of color correction. My question is what color do you use on your base and ends Daniella. Thank you

Brandon & Nellie Baldwin: Hi ladies!!! Help me please. I’m naturally a strawberry blonde however I’ve been getting highlights for years so I was blonde blonde. Yesterday I got my hair done and asked to match my roots and she made me so dark and so red. She used a level 8 with warmth....I’m going to strip my hair with the Color our system and hopefully try to tone it. I was thinking 9n with a splash of 9rb (for dimension) or should I do Equal parts 9n 9nb and a cap of 9rb?? Your advice is much appreciated

esti k: Hi hope you well! I was wondering if you could help please. I had my hair done yesterday however I don’t care for my root smudge which is super dark. She did use Redken Shades EQ I immediately washed my hair however it has a reddish dark brown tone now and the rest of my hair is buttery blond. What can I do to make the root color fade fast? I absolutely hate the reddish brown tone! Thanks

Lopez V: I’m trying to get rid of my red orange hair color. My new growth is about 1-2 inches of level 3, and the length is red/orange level 6/7. I was thinking of using 5NA with 30 vol on the new growth and the use 5NA with 20 vol on the length. Please let me know your opinion.

Patrick Williams: Love your content!

Lisa Q: I am between a natural level 6-7. Colored w perm. 7 Ash to cover gray. No matter what i do, it always pulls orange. I have highlights but once the toner the salon wears off it is all brassy again. I put in EQ 9V and 9N more 9V and it helped a little but still brassy. Should I tone again and use the 9B and crystal?

Lauren Hahn: I have totally white/gray hair--I have been using Shades EQ for a few months--love the violets--Was playing with 9 and 7 then went to 5V I tried it--it came out of bottle brown--with violet --turns out this 5V was a discontinued color. I think for some reason this color had a brown background--which I don't understand--but the color has lasted over three months--this never happened with any other of the V colors--and the new 5V is totally different. I have asked other experts here and all they say is that the old 5V was discontinues--How do I get back to my normal color so I can once again use the nice light violets--Thank you!!
