Hi guys welcome back to house of HuR UK today, I'm gon na be doing a maintenance of a half head Brazilian, not hair extensions, so I'm gon na be using a razor to take out the old Brazilian knots, a comb to comb out her hair. Some very small nail scissors, because you're going to have to cut quite small bits of the elastic the elastic that you use to install the Brazilian knots and then some section clips just to keep her hair out of the way. My client today has got really fine hair, so we just put a half a head of Brazilian or extensions rather than a full head, and we also do our maintenance every eight weeks rather than every 12 weeks. This is just to prevent any kind of breakage from the hair extensions as they are quite thick and they can be heavy on your hair. So if you've got quite fine hair and your hair's week, then the recommended time is eight week maintenance rather than twelve weeks, as you can see, I'm just using the razor and making the tiniest little cut into the elastic once you cut into it, because it's on There quite tight it will unravel and separate the hair extensions on the clients and natural hair. If the hair extension is stuck in the hair, then what you want to do is cut away the elastic hold on to the clients and natural hair and just pull lightly on the hair extensions from the bottom, and it will separate from the hair don't be alarmed By the hair loss that you can see me combing out here, actually this is a natural amount of hair loss that you should expect. When you take out your Brazilian knots, we lose hair, naturally every day, but her hair has just been sitting there infested in underneath that knot. So now that we've released the knot from the natural hair, it gives us the chance to comb it out, and it looks like this a lot, but it's the natural amount. We normally answer our clients wash their hair the night before their maintenance appointment, because if you do a full take out and wash them blow dry their hair, it can be very fluffy and you get to lots of flyaways, and this can be really difficult when you're Doing a maintenance on Brazilian not by having the hair, either dirty or wash the day before it becomes a lot more manageable, and then your maintenance can go faster. I know that I do my application of Brazilian not very different from a lot of the stylists that I've seen on YouTube. So what I do is I place the elastic and the hair extensions in between my finger and thumb. I then rest of the hair extension and the clients natural hair in the palm of my hand, and then I feed the elastic round, giving it to my little finger and then passing it back over the hair. I think it's because I'm left-handed that I go left to right rather than right to left or clockwise or anticlockwise, I'm not sure, but I definitely know that I do it. Different some strands will have a lot of build-up left in once. You'Ve taken out the hair extensions and you want to be sure not to be aggressive with these strands and actually use your rat tail comb to just poke through those knots lightly until you're able to comb through it without putting any tension on your clients hair. Here you can see just how far my clients, hair is and the reason why we only do a half head of hair extensions. Now Brazilian knots can't be done in very, very small and fine strands, otherwise they twist around on themselves. So you need to keep them up one standard size so, instead of having lots of Brazilian knots in her hair that are small, we kept them to the standard size, but we just do three rows and then round the back we'll do four to five rows. So this is what it looks like once: we've done, a half head application of Brazilian knots on a client who's got very fine hair. I didn't show any of the styling footage, but if you like what you see guys, please share subscribe and leave a comment below. If you have any questions.

Love Bug: Good evening. Great job! I am trained in fusion and microlinks. How long do you think it would be for me to transition to this technique? And, what would you charge for it? Full? Half? Maintenance? I live in the U.S. if that helps with the pricing. I currently live in the middle of the country (Kansas) where all the hair trends arrive last. Fusion/rings go for $1500/1200 and up for a full head because it is labor intensive yet here they won't pay it so I stopped doing them. Elsewhere, it's not a problem.

B thebeautycrew: Your videos are so inspiring. thank you so much for all these free infos. You have blessed hands This Technique is not yet popular in Canada.I will try it.

Gledys Daudinot: Wow I love this technique better, less damaging for your hair.

Mahogany Coy: Beautiful!!!❤

Rochelle Bailey: how many hours did this take? It looks beautiful

Aurora Ally: How much grams do you use for a half head?

Karma Karma: There's no way I could take this out by myself end up cutting my hair

Alexsa Amen: I have Brazilian knot extensions right now and they last about 5 weeks on me before the thread starts to get like “sticky” on me and it loosens and falls out, the girl who does my hair is just as stumped as me and claims it’s never happened before. Do you know why this is happening?

A R: How does this work for naturally curly hair that’s straightened?

Carly Baez: What brand string do you use?

Yessie Horror: Amazing must be expensive. Like how much for full hair? After I had gastric sleeve I lost so much hair and I don't have it thick anymore I'm so depressed

sana: can we comb and wash these extensios everyday.

Jai B: Pls do a video on keratin glue hair extensions. I want to come and see u to get them done in October. Many thanks x
