First and foremost, you want to talk about budget okay. I know it's an awkward thing for everybody, but why not get the most awkward thing out of the way? First, um and budget entails a lot of things, so it doesn't just until like what the client's spending today, but what do they want to spend in the future, so i have her hair i'll, clean up and um. On top. You always want to make sure that the accession sections are super clean um. That'S why i love these clips. It makes it very tight, so any little micro, tiny little hairs that are at the base of the scalp can be pushed up and so that the application is um done appropriately. And then i like to put this guard in between two. That'S also going to ensure that the application is nice and clean. It'S going to keep the extensions, healthy, the natural hair healthy and make sure that the extensions have longevity, take it we're going to just melt the bond and we roll now. This whole process looks very easy, but there is a method to it. You want to make sure, when you're rolling, that you are rolling nice and tight and pressing down, you always want to make sure the number one thing about the end is to make sure that the tip of it is completely sealed. If that's not sealed it's going to cause shedding for the client during the wear and it's going to make for an unhappy client - and you are not going to be happy either after that, i'm doing micro, tiny pieces on the nape of the neck um. This is because the hair is a lot less dense down here at the neck, as well as it is on her hairline, and you know, during our constipation process we discussed. You know she is somebody that has a very active lifestyle. She works out a lot. She wears her hair up she's on the go she's a, and so we just really want to make sure that extensions are going to be fitted to her lifestyle. That'S a huge thing, but i always like to stress i'm using a toaster machine with conchs, and i've found that this really is one of the best type of machines to use when applying extensions. It allows it to get hot really fast. You just have to be quick or quick with it, so it allows me to go through the process pretty quickly and do the install in a timely manner as well as a really nice clean bond. So extensions are not a one-size-fits-all situation, you will. There will be some kinds to do similar things on, but generally you're always going to want to customize it to that client's lifestyle, budget palette, um and their hair texture um for angie today we're just doing four bundles. That'S gon na be more than enough for her um she's, not someone that you know. That'S gon na give her so much fullness. She is somebody that honestly doesn't have that big of a head and has a smaller head, which is good um, and she has fine hair and she's blonde and she's somebody that works out a lot so um and she's on the go as well. So we need to really give her something that she can actually manage at home. I don't want to give her. You know, sit and give her eight bundles of hair she's, not gon na, be able to maintain that she's gon na call me and be like kelly. This is way too much hair. It'S too heavy um, you know, so you really. Just always. I always say less is more okay and you can always add more if you'd like, but i'd rather not give a client something that they're not going to be able to maintain at home and give them more than they can handle. That'S a huge thing. It'S also going to allow your client to put that trust in you that you mean, because obviously you want to make money, you know. So if you're telling a client hey, i want to put eight bundles in your hair or, if you tell them instead, you tell them hey, i'm going to start you off with four. If we want to add more, we can because that just shows your client. How much you really care um, because you're not trying to just make money you're trying to give them something that they're, actually gon na, feel good in be able to manage and enjoy it's not gon na damage their hair. It'S going to enhance their lifestyle! Not add stress to it: that's where you really have to educate your clients on why the method that you've chosen for them is the best method for them um and then from there. You really need to educate them. Teach them make sure that what you're saying their understanding, i always like to say to them and then have them, say it back to me at the end of the day, so that i really know that they are going to maintain the extensions. The way that they should in order to keep their natural hair and their extensions nice through the wear process, if you ever see just a little bit of white at the top of the blonde after you roll. You know that the wand is not closed, and so you want to just hit it one more time with the toaster and look how beautiful that blend is, though you can barely see where the extensions are at and that's because of the rooted collection. It'S gon na match so well with her hair, hey guys, so we just finished with angie lee's at rude hair extensions uh. We installed four bundles of the individual individually bonded uh rooted hair extensions in my collection um. And what do you think the finished looks, i'm so excited it's beautiful. It'S it's actually better than i even expected. You

MamaKat: That’s a HairDreams heating tool. Those sections to add the extension to are WAAAAAAAY too small. The heavier extension will pull her hair out.
