We go hi guys, and so I am on my way to the salon right now to get a blowout, and I just wanted to give you guys kind of an inside experience of having keratin tip extension or carrot tip or hot fusion or whatever I feel like. They have so many games so yeah. My hair is looking a little bit unruly. That'S why? Because I haven't washed it in probably about three days, and I did not style it this morning. Obviously, because I knew I was going to get it done. Is this? Yes? Alright, so are you [ __ ] kidding me [, __ ], you! So if any of you guys aren't familiar with my hair history as of late September 2014, this was how it looked all natural, no extensions. Just all me - and now I have this - think carrot. If extensions and I'm going to be going through everything today so today at the salon, we decided to add a few more at the sides of my head for a little bit extra volume, and since the process is very repetitive, here are a couple: if you understand How they work, rather than watching all 500 on my head. So first Cynthia starts by parting hair, where she wants to work and it's very important to keep a clean tangle, free workstation when doing this and Cynthia is the best slipping. A tiny piece of my real hair, through the middle of her plastic circle, thing that you guys see there. She cups the keratin extension underneath and heats up the hardened keratin at the tip to make it malleable. I guess you could say she presses and rolls both of them together until they cool and they are bonded forever. No, I'm just kidding up rubber these kinds of extensions lasts for around six months and depending on how you take care of them. So that's what we're going to be going over next, so I must say for a few days after you get your new extensions, your scalp may be a little bit tender or sore because it's not used to all of that new hair and that new weight on Your head, so after you thoroughly wash your hair, brushing your damp hair without pulling and kind of tugging at the extensions, and your scalp may be a little bit tricky because of this. So what I like to do is exactly Cynthia taught me: hold the extensions with the palm of your hand and push against your head and start brushing at the tip of your hair and work. Your way up. This helps for a lot less pain. Another downside of having long hair permanently on my head now is blow-drying. I feel like it just takes so long like what takes that long, nothing, hence why I go get it blown out at a salon, so they can do it all nice and perfect, but when I do wash it at home myself, I like to let air dry Throughout the night, just so I can style it in the morning and it's a lot less damaged and a lot less bus. So if you have these extensions, that's what I recommend you do too now. Cynthia is round brushing it as smooth and as sleek as you can possibly get it, which is usually our last step. But today we're going for that super pin straight. Look so she's going to run the Flatiron through it to finish the look off and, as you see they run brushed it really really well. I was happy with this, but since I brought the camera, we thought we'd do an extra step and this is just getting it as smooth and a sleek as possible, and this hair honestly lasted me, for I think, like five or six days before I showered again. So go Cynthia's my favorite and she's my favorite for a reason, so we are all done at the salon. I really hope you guys enjoyed meeting my salon, stylist and learning about the entire process of care, tip extension and if you guys are in the LA Beverly Hills area, I definitely recommend, even if you aren't making the travel out, because she is really really really amazing. She made me feel comfortable. She really did place them, so you can't see them. I'M never really excelled conscious about my extensions because she placed them really really really like well and she hit them really well. I can put my hair up with them and they really aren't an issue to me. They just really enhanced err and enhanced my life. So I really hope you guys love it as much as I do and yeah other than that. I just want to say for anyone thinking about getting hair extensions like this, for me personally it hurt my head really bad the first 3 days. The 3rd day was the worst, after that the pain subsided and my head started itching like crazy! Luckily that stopped too but just know that it can be pretty uncomfortable at first ladies! Sleeping with it the first few days is the worst too! Yet it's a small price to pay for the beautiful long flowing hair :)

Mae's Lifestyle: I need advice! I’ve been wearing tape in extensions for almost a year now and because of some issues I’m wondering if I should change to keratin extensions. My biggest problem is that I have such thin hair the extensions are almost always showing, and I tell the stylist every time and no matter how they move them it still happens so badly. Also they are heavy on my hair sometime and have ripped my hair out at the root twice now. I’m just worried that keratin would have its own complications and cause more damage. I need help
