Are Your Hair Extensions Slipping?

Are you having trouble with micro-beaded hair extensions slipping out? Watch this short 2:00 video for tips on how to make them stay!

Are you guys having problems with your beads slipping, or, I should say, your hair extentions slipping out with the Donna Bella concept that microbeads look? If that's the case, here's what's going on we're going to correct that and put that all to an end. Now, today, what you want to do we're going to show you the proper way to make sure there's no slipping whatsoever. Okay, I get really excited about this. What I want to do is I want to show you guys, the proper installation to make sure that there's no more slipping in your life or your clients lives. Okay, so what we're doing we're gon na grab our section of hair as always now this is key right here as well. First and foremost, you have to make sure you have enough hair from your clients head. That'S going to be equal amounts to the hair extension itself, and that way it's going to ensure that it can hold its weight one-for-one. If you grabbed too small of a section, there's no way that that weight of the extension is going to be able to hold on to this little tiny strand of hair, you want to make sure you grab a sufficient amount of hair people. Okay, we just want to make sure that we come across super clear, so that way, there's no problems in the future. Okay. So what we're gon na do is we're going to grab our section of hair we're gon na grab our loop, to which you guys all know this part pull that through grab our micro, bead and weave it on the hair strand, we're gon na get all these Little fine baby hairs once again out of the way so there's no tugging or pulling of her hair we're gon na grab our extension and we're gon na insert it into the micro bead. Okay, now we're going to grab our crimp tool and we're going to crimp it flush with the top of the extension and we're going to do it once in the middle now, maybe that's where we're getting it wrong! I'M thinking to myself. I just got my bead on okay, so now it's not going to slip, however, there's inner grooves inside of these beads. So we want to make sure all these inner grooves ain't toying with each other. So with that being said, what we're gon na do is crimp. It once in the middle, like we did before and make sure we focus on these sides that it's so important that you clip these sides flat and that's going to make sure that all the grooves inside of that bead are intertwined. Now that should solve all your problems with any slipping going on with these extensions Thanks.

ZReyce: Yes you can but I wouldn't suggest swimming in pools containing chlorine because it can severely dry out your do and in some cases even turn your extensions green (if you're blonde). If you absolutely must go swimming make sure your hair is braided and fastened well to avoid matting, and if swimming in a chloronated pool it is a good idea to immediately rinse and condition your hair afterwards to avoid excessive drying/damage. Hope this helps!
