Hey guys welcome back to my youtube channel. I am Ellie Brown from uptown with Ellie Brown and I've got long hair. Today, hey hey so clearly my natural hair does not match my leave, but it's okay, cuz we're just gon na roll with it anyways. The gray. Will be gone in a few weeks anyway, then we're just gon na you know for the purpose, in the sakes of the video we're going to talk about extensions today. So I consider myself a extension expert, but I have learned a few things, a few tips and tricks, and I wanted to share that with you guys. I also wanted to share with you guys what the extension is like the brand that I use, etc, etc, etc, etc. So, let's just dive right in today's video and keep watching that way. Okay, guys it's a little bit more about the brand that I'm using. I have hidden crown extensions and they have different kinds of extensions. They have the clip ins, they have the the halo which is put a little wire and then they also have these little toppers that you can put on top off. So I have the clippings right now and I'm just going to read it here a little bit more like this. Is the website over here just making sure that I have all the information. So the three piece that I have the three piece set here comes with total nine clip. One left has three Clips: if that makes sense, so it is 100 % remy hair, and so you can wash this, you can style it. You can cut it. You can do whatever you want with it just 17.5 inches volumizer with three clips and then there's two five inch side pieces that goes over here. Diagonally on the side. Two of those pieces have three clips. You can get it in 14, inch, 16, 18, 20 and 22 inch in the 14, 16 and 18 is 50 gram, volumizer and 40 grams side pieces. The 16 inch is 60 gram, volumizer and 40 gram side. Pieces 18 is 70 volumizer and 40. The 20 is 80 gram, volumizer and 50 for the side pieces in the 22 is 90 grand volumizer and a 50 gram for the side pieces. I copy and paste all of this info and need this description if you guys want they have all the detail here. On their website, and then you can also email them, sending you a picture of your hair and they do matching or they will match the hair for you as well just to share what you get in a box. The extensions comes in a little hanger that humm the extension comes in this little bag here, where you can take the hanger and store it, and also, if you're traveling, and you want to take it with you and just keep it nice and neatly. This is where I also store my hair when I'm not using it, I'm so deep I'll store the hair in here just to keep it protected and you know not have any dust collect on it and whatnot and also what you get is this little anyways. So that's what you get in a little box. I obviously have this on right. Now I'm going to share with you guys how I take it off as well as how I put it on a few tips and tricks and how to get the the most even invest. Look with your extensions! Oh! Let'S take it off and then put it back on and show all the ins and outs of the good stuff so, like I said, I have the 3 piece clip and I already got this cut to blend with my hair as this as I could and as You can see this is what it looks like it does not come with it. Colored like this at the very top. One tip that I learned from a dear friend is to take some root spray and spray it on the top to match your roots, especially if you have an hombre color like I do. This will be the best thing instead of having like blonde. Oh it all. The way up here and then it's showing at the very root of your hair. I have this one way up here and you can barely even see it so that root spray is a great great tip. So this is what my hair looks like. Naturally, I already curled it off-camera. I used my t3 curler, I'm gon na link this below. This is one of the barrel that comes in the the trio sets. I believe this is the 1.25 inch love this curler. It gives this soft just natural wave - and I curled the extensions with this one as well, not to put the extensions in you're going to put this large set on the very bottom here, all right right around for the middle and then you'll. Take the other two pieces and you'll snap them in diagonally here on each side. So now what you have to do is you have to section your hair and then put it. So I've got it a little bit higher and this is something that you can play with and kind of like get the you know the positioning and where you want it exactly to your to your liking. So what I will do is, I will take a volumizer. This is from a bowler, and this is Aaron magic, texturizing spray. What I'll do is I'll spray, the roots just to give it a little bit of grit, so those little clips stay nice and put, and what I do is I ever so lightly tease the roots again to have those extensions have something to grab on to so Three piece I'm going to clip this in here I like to pull on the extensions a bit and then just snap snap, snap, sometimes I'd like to if you have to I like it, really tight, almost the point where I like it feels really snug. So sometimes you may have to unsnap it and snap it back in and that's not a big deal, as you can see already tons of more volume and I've got some length here. Okay, so now for the other two pieces, I am going to go diagonal right here, taking my texture spray and then I'm gon na tease a little bit and then just hope and see you boom. That is number two over here and then for the very final one. What I like to do is I kind of like to try to match it to the opposite side. So it's kind of even you know now back and walldog is how I put in my extensions as you can see, it's not that difficult. It'S pretty easy once you get the hang of it, you just got to play around with it. If you have blunt hair, like I do sometimes depending on exactly how much I want my actual hair showing down here in the bottom, what I'll do is take the very bottom section of my hair right down here. If you can see - and sometimes I will take this - I like to tie this and then what I will do is I will pin this up in the very back and just kind of pin it up with a bobby pin that way. You see less of my actual hair here that way. It'S not so like blunt back here and it's still up it just looks a little bit more natural. If you can see you do have to pay attention and how you clip it over here, so it doesn't. Stick out in the back and then kind of like do it as in a little button and then just pin it on each side. But that's another little tip and trick that you can do another little tip that I've learned actually watching. Another fellow youtubers which she did instead of clipping your extension downward clipping. It upward clipping that very last part upward, because then what it does it kind of scoops that back. You know that back here over the extension versus it being under the extension. Does that make sense, if not I'm gon na link her on video? Here you can go watch, I'm Jessie Perkins and she has a great tutorial how she does a half pony top to another tip in trick that I also highly suggest if you have shorter hair one thing. Instead of curling your hair separately, I would recommend you with the extension already placed or place your extensions and then curl your hair. One thing to do is take a piece of your hair with the extension curl this piece together that way, it's curled the same way and it just it. It flows better if that makes any sense, and that's really all of my tips and tricks if you have any tips or any more tricks and you're a extension probe comment below share with me. Please share with anyone else who's watching. Please because, like I said, I clearly AM NOT a extension pro and I am still learning as I'm going, I highly recommend hidden crown love their extensions. I love how the air feels absolutely amazing. It feels it doesn't. Look. You know, like the plastic like shiny hair, but I would highly recommend you looking into their extensions. I feel like for the amount of hair and for the price you get a really good deal for what you're getting for the quality of the hair as well. So highly recommend I will link their site down here, anyways guys thanks again, so much for watching, don't know something. If you like this video, don't forget to subscribe. I will see you guys here again really soon bye. Now, I'm gon na be like. I want my hair back, that's what ooh, how does Beyonce do it in the concerts, gosh whiplash anyways, bye, guys
