In this video I have described the complete usage and best practices for different Natural & Chemical Hair Dyes (Hair Colours), available in the market. I have also recommended some permanent, semi-permanent, alternative & natural dyes which are available in the marketplace.

Hi friends today I will be speaking about hair dyes and hair colours. I will request you to watch this video till the end so that you know about the different kinds of hair dyes and their benefits as well as harmful effects., and you will also come to know about the different chemical and natural hair dyes available in the market. Hair colours are of many types. The first is Permanent hair dyes. These dyes do not come off once they are applied on your hair. The other kind is Semi-Permanent dyes which come off after washing your hair with shampoo 5 or 6 times. The next kind of dye is Temporary, which comes off after washing your hair with shampoo, 1 or 2 times, And, lastly, Alternative Hair Colour, meaning those colours which are not natural, such as blue, green, red purple, etc. First lets talk about Permanent Hair Colours/Dyes In these dyes. Along with colour, there is Ammonia as also a chemical called `` Developer''. By mixing these two chemicals, a chemical `` cocktail'', is prepared which contains Ammonia, Hydrogen Peroxide, P-Phenylenediamine, Resorcinol Parabens & sulphates amongst other chemicals. These chemicals are quite dangerous and they can cause Kidney Damage. Lung damage, Urinary bladder cancer, Nervous system disorders and also Severe Allergic Reactions, Because the public is nowadays more aware. That is why companies put these chemicals in much reduced quantities in hair dyes and then call these dyes ``, Natural Match'''', Herbashine'''', Ammonia, Free'', etc. For the purposes of marketing Here I would like to give you a piece of advice that Pregnant women Lactating mothers, people who suffer from Asthma & Eczema or those who suffer from Kidney disorders should definitely NOT USE Permanent Hair Dyes.. I will anyway tell you the names of a few permanent hair dyes over here. These are Loreal Paris, Excellence, Creme, Hair Colour, Matrix SoColor, Permanent hair Colour, Wella Color Charm, Permanent Hair colour And Garnier Nutrisse Permanent Hair Colour Now lets talk about Semi-Permanent Hair dyes. These dyes do not contain Ammonia & Developer, whereas other chemicals like Hydrogen peroxide & P-Phyenylenehydramine, are also contained to a lesser extent. That is why semi-permanent hair dyes only colour the surface of the hair and do not penetrate inside the hair and cause damage. Semi-Permanent colours remain vibrant upto, 3-4 weeks (, depending upon the frequency of washing ) and then begins fading out. Semi-Permanent hair colours can only be used to darken the shade of your hair. For example, you can make your hair brown or black ( brunette ), but you cannot lighten your hair colour, which means that semi-permanent dyes cannot be used to colour. Your hair golden or blonde. Some good semi-permanent colours available in the market are Loreal Professional, Hair Colour, Garnier, Color, Naturals, Godrej, Kali, Mehendi and Godrej Expert Rich Creme. All these dyes are semi-permanent Now lets talk about temporary hair colours. Temporary hair colour is available as Hair Wash Hair Shampoo and also in Gel Spray and Foam form these dyes, colour, the hair vibrantly and give them a good shine, but they get washed away after just one or two hair washes. These are good for a party, or they are also pretty good for a one off special occasion. Now I will tell you the names of some good temporary hair colours. Loreal, Paris, Magic Root Cover Up Dye, Toppik Root, Touch Up Spray. Sunsilk Insta Highlight Temporary Hair Colour Spray Bblunt One Night Stand Temporary hair colour, Fluffy thin hair powder, Hairline Root, Concealer Dexe Root Cover Up/Concealer, with instant results. Now lets discuss Alternative hair colours. These come in green red, blue purple and several other shades in spray form, but keeping these colours in your hair for an extended period can damage your hair. This is the reason why beauticians as well as dermatologists, both nowadays recommend you to colour your hair with either semi-permanent temporary or natural dyes. Only Now I will tell you the names of some good natural hair dyes. The first is Patanjali Herbal (, Organic ), Mehandi Organic Indigo, Leaf Powder, Godrej's Nupur, Henna, Shahnaz's, Colourveda, Natural Hair, Color, Organic Hair Colour by Kama, Ayurveda, Indus Valley, Botanical, Hair Colour, Vagad's, Khadi, Ayurvedic, Black Mehndi & Bio, Organic Hibiscus, Flower Powder. If you want to use Mehndi or Indigo Powder to dye your hair, then it is good if you soak it overnight in water and then mix it with curd oil etc in the morning before applying it. This not only leaves you with a rich colour, but it also ensures that your hair do not get dry. My recommendation to you is that it is alright to change your hair colour once in a while, but those people who colour their hair repeatedly should use natural hair colours. In the end, I would like to tell you one more very important piece of information: The substance that is commonly known as ``, Kali, Mehndi'' or `` Black Henna'' and sold in the market under these names is NOT a herbal or plant product. This is actually a chemical which is called Paraphenylenediamine. This chemical is ok for dyeing/colouring your hair, but if you use this to make temporary tattoos on your skin, you can suffer from a severe allergic reaction. That is why you can use Kali Mehndi on your hair, but NEVER use it for tattooing, your skin Friends.
