FTC Disclosure: http://guytanghair.blogspot.com/2015/1...

Today'S exciting day, guess what I'm here with me Cassie ho of Blogilates hello, so we are gon na give her a new makeover. So take a look. I'M gon na bring her head down. Well, not really much of a makeover, cuz she's still really pretty yeah. There'S nothing to make over it's just enhancement better. Yes, I like fuzzball right yeah, so we didn't give her a new look with Schwarzkopf color ten, because I want to show you a technique that I haven't shared with you yet that I love and you learn all these fun secret tricks, seatback tricks yeah. So a lot of you guys have been asking me on Facebook about the Schwarzkopf color ten, because it's a 10-minute color, so it can process your color in just ten minutes. What I use it for is not just on men or quick color application, but also use it for base breaking, which is I'm going to show you guys how to use it today on Cassie's hair, because when you look at the top of Cassie's hair here, you Will see her regrowth it's about two inches out to the half inches out, so I'm gon na connect that and blend it together using the ten minute color, but also Bali, ojung her ends at the same time to bring it up because it is summer we want To give her that golden goddess look my favorite base breaking for dark hair is especially long hair. This dark, like a level 1, 2 or 3, is 7 12 +, 7 0 and in this color 10 much for scoff and I generally use either a 20 volume here or a 30 volume. So I find that even I use 30 volume on scalp. It doesn't give her hot roots, which is a surprise for me, so only when I used a 7-12 sometime, I mix them together. These are my two favorite base breaking formulas. There is a few other shades as well. There'S Reds Browns, caramels, golds and there's there's also a new level 9 coming out and I'm so excited about that Cassie. What do you think about? 10Min color love it. I love anything anytime. You got a you like anything with nothing. Isn'T it hahaha so we get started now alright, so I'm just going to start with using a hair painting technique or balayage technique. Stroking and feathering the lightener through the hair choose your favorite Lightner of choice, and so you start stroking the hair lightly. It'S all about a gentle touch, moving up towards the scalp and feather your way down. If you have a paddle, you press the lightener onto the paddle gently, it's all about gentle strokes, never over sound trait. You never over penetrates all about laying the product. On the surface, I'm going to repeat this pattern as I move up her head using four quadrants. As I start going up against the parietal area around her face, I'm going to over direct everything back as you can see, I am incorporating foils I'm overlaying foils over each section, because Cassie's hair is naturally a level. Two is very, very dark. I need to really bring this this Lightner and to lift it up to a level 9, at least because she wants to be a very gold color golden goddess color. So I could choose a tone of my choice if I get to that point, but we want to lift higher, so the foils will help accelerate the lightness and also using a heat conductor will help to so you know, maybe it's a heat source from a lamp Or a rollerball or a such sort that doesn't dry off the hair, so outside move up around her hairline, I don't want to really apply the product too heavy around the hairline to set hair around the hairline, lift light really really fast. Alright guys, I am putting Cassie under the heating lamp yeah. Look at that, so this helped accelerate the lift, because balayage needs a little additional heat and the foils help incubate. Even though I did use a balayage technique because her hair is darker, she needs the acceleration, and one of the things I like to add is that for those of you guys who don't know Cassie she's a youtube fitness guru, star of bog, lotty's she's, amazing, she Helped train me a few times: oh yeah, my most important role is being guys friends, oh right, yeah yeah! That'S true! You are my real bestie and we hang out. We hang out every every other week. I think. Every month almost ago, yeah Joey KBD, Hugh. Yes, Korean barbecue, and so she keeps me healthy. I love her me too. I love you so much she's been there through thick and thin and one of the things we did talk about. Let me turn this off for a minute, so we could look a little decent. One of the things that we did talk about is cyber bullying right and yeah. I mean you get a bit of it. Sometimes I do I do, and I just released this video called the perfect body, and it was one crazy. Viral was like all over the place like self Cosmopolitan ABC News, Huffington Post, like everybody BuzzFeed, it was trending on Facebook and I'm just so happy that people really had a positive reaction to it, because how much even other people so such I should move my head. Yeah, you can't can't move your head, I'm just going to look at guy right. There um, it's, not okay, to tell people that they don't look good and that they're too fat, because who cares right? Okay, because I see that comment on your page, sometimes like people attack you for no reason and for me it's strange, you know cuz, I'm your friend and I see how hard you work and you know sync with me. Sometimes we get bullied and we get attacked, but my thing is like you know, we know who we are yeah and spread positive message be positive because I think karma you do go to others. Good will come to you exactly right. That'S how the word works. The more you give the more you receive if you're gon na like start calling people names and stuff it's gon na, come back at you do that it really does. So that's why I say: like you know you just never know it may not come back to you now. They'Ll come back to you later and it may not even be the same person. It'S definitely gon na, be something else yeah. So that's the thing is all about spreading good, positive energy and that's what I love about you Cassie is like when I was down you were there for me and then I always remember that in you, and so I keep you know it's like. I cherish that. So anytime, you need anything, I'm there for you, we're true friends. So of course, any time most important, I'm so proud of her, I'm just so probably you know all these things going on, and so we, you know making ends meet and we actually found shudder through it was it Pinterest Pinterest and then I tweeted him and use Like okay come over and do the hair - and I do not let anyone else touch my hair no and I love guy forever. Yeah gon na be my only hair person ever only hair person, everybody. You never cheat on me, but you guys got ta check out. My pants, I'm not he just added these new, like cutlets a cut holes in my pants. I know I'm the little strange like that. Give me season. Twerking she's gon na help she's gon na have a tour colotti splash, I'm not good, but good guy will be. Guy will be the advanced version. Yeah I'll, be beginner. Wait! Wait till you see this okay, so it's only been five minutes. So, let's see how her color is lifting - let me go into here - oh my god, she's turning about like a chestnut II color. So I'm gon na keep her under this little lamp and then after that watch what I'm gon na do with a 10-minute color. I'M actually going to smudge to ten minute Schwartzkopf color right over this, just to create that smudge and not blend, so I use as her natural color break the base and blend it into the highlights magical moment. Yes, alright! So it's about 30 minutes and I think Cassie's done processing. I'M gon na turn you around. So you can see this. I'M gon na pull out the foils now. So I think everything should be ready. Let'S take a look here: okay, okay, so you can see it lifted up to about wow level, 9, honey, gold and that's fine. I wanted to look some kids, it's not about looking artificial, it's not about looking high contrasting and that's the thing with balayage. Okay. So I'm gon na pull these guys out, as you can see how its lifted okay and the hair around the face, usually lifts pretty fast. So I'm just going to pull all this out for you guys. So that's it see the way it's lifting! It'S really fun to kind of just see the lifting process. This is fun to just reveal and unveil what's happening underneath my Kathy, oh look, how white that does gun, and I love the paneling that we get from from this. It is crazy because it seems like there's a lot going on, but when we're done because I'm going to route her, it's gon na look so beautiful and so natural. That'S all right. So this is the consistency of the color 10 7-0 formula and I mix it with 20 volume and I'm actually going to apply it directly to Cassies scalp area to break that base of her natural and the reason why I call it base breaking is because it's Softening the base, why I find that's unique about color 10 - is that even though this is 7 because of the 10-minute color process, it actually appeared to the eyes one level deeper, even though over time it lifts up. It appears more like a 7 because of the technology. That'S given is amazing. I love to use it for base breaking, because it's only a 10 minute processing time I'm able to go in soften the base and soften that line, because I did a paneling technique. I panel the bow hair painting technique over you know over flapping, each section section as I went, I don't want it to look stripy or to contrasting, so this would fuse the two tones together. It will fuse for level 2 and the level 9 bring it together. Right the root and I could tone her hair, whatever color I want at the shampoo bowl, so I'm going to go ahead and apply this to her scalp. Now, during the application, I'm just going to smudge it into the regrowth area, you will see the color intertwine, which is really unique. So don't get scared, so we need to move quick because it's only 10 minutes. I really just go in between each flap and each panel and just mirror right to that one inch of regrowth inside each flap once you can see - and this will fuse the two tones together simultaneously doing this in one process - it's less work than doing a double Process then, going back in and I find out some times we try to base break at the shampoo bowl on wet hair. It doesn't work too well because the hair is still damp and sometimes it works. Sometimes it works. Don'T get me wrong, but when you're trying to live hair this dark and neutralized at the same time, I find that this is the best and what my third methods, because you get to use it and then go back in and then tongue it at the shampoo Bowl all at once, so it saves time and it's smart and it you know it also looks really fancy. I use this with many base breaking techniques, but this is one like they're for dark hair using the color tend to do this. It'S a smart way. Okay, as you can see, when I'm going in, I'm really just hitting that regrowth error, but not afraid to fusing the line together, because it's only ten minute processing time. This application and process goes by really quick and because the sectioning of the flaps have been already pre done for us all, you slip each flap up and just hit the internal section and what's cool is because of the fusion between the two you get to see It smudge together like that the color actually deposit there and actually tone the highlights for us all the same time and fusing it together. So there's the in-between tone, which I find to be very convenient. Let'S work at the shampoo bowl when toning. It is interesting because we don't have to be afraid to just bring the product really low down. It'S amazing one of my favorite ways, so you might wan na make sure that you get inside very well just like that and a lot of times when I was a skeptic at first like oh, why do I need a 10-minute color, but now it makes sense. I love to add additional weapons and my arsenal. Why not you know why not you can see it toning, the highlights at the same time, it's really clever, just bring it down, so it creates like a Rudy. Ombre effect see that - and the bleach has dried out already at this point, so you don't have to worry about the bleach, continue to flake and over bleach the hair so much because the ten-minute processing time makes it so forgiving that we don't have to worry about. Hot roots or hot spots in the and a hair is a cheating note not at all, because I find that is, if there's a way that we can make our life easier in the salon, especially if you're on the crunch for time and you're in between. So many clients - this is a smart way to get more clients in your chair. I find and then do more and and let with less work, so the sectioning is so so easy. This gets me so excited every time, so I didn't win a timer for 10 minutes after I applied the product everywhere, simple as that, and then I'm going to tone her at the shampoo bowl. So it'll be pretty quick, easy, quick process every time every time and then, if she wants to come back for just a root retouch she can just with the the base. I mean I'm sorry with the color 10, with a Schwarzkopf peak or 10. You can just use the same formula and apply just on her scalp when she just want her her regrowth refresh simple as that and over latest section. As I go make sure you don't miss any spots cuz. Sometimes you know we don't want that to happen. We don't want miss spots cuz, we don't want to have to go back in. You know, alright, here's the final review. Oh, this is golden hair. I love it. I love the warm tones and I'm like a golden goddess type girl so, and I love getting tan. Such because I do fitness stuff, so this makes you feel healthy and like just like boom, you don't need, I feel like summer. I think that's. The most important thing is I like being warm and if my hair matches my personality and in the season glow the glow. I think it's not that glow either golden goddess and you know there's so many people out there that hate warmth and I initially I've done so much ash on you and then every time I see you say I really want that warm. I really want that. One! Nothing what I was about those people that was like you got ta have ash for a while, because I didn't even know what ash was. I was like. What do you mean? I don't understand why I would want that yeah. It'S all I know is that you you kept on trying to explain to me, and this happens all the time with us in our clients and the reality is that not everybody looks good with ash. Some people look really good warm tones and Cassie. Is that person it fits our personality, and I think it's important that you know we not always have to fight that warmth and embrace it and with Cassie she loves it loving you, you a favorite one so far, guys to make her like a million times many Times worn yeah thumbs up doesn't feel like work. Yeah support. Where did warm activist? Give warm some love, not one yeah. It'S not all. Warmth is a bad thing. You know saying hey. You know we got to start this movement, so I've been cold anyway. You don't like pink. Oh my gosh look at our legs, I like being Mormon. That does true, that's true. So what finish glazing home with us? I use vibrance a glossing tune. It was 7-4 and 9-4 mixed together to get an eight and I tone it. What 20 minutes full processing time processing for 29th is very important and, of course, when I bring our head down, I do want you guys to see that I use the 7-0 with 20 volume like her scalp to blur the balayage highlights into her hair. So, that's why my favorite methods is to break that base or shift that base using the ten-minute shortstop color. That'S one of my secrets. I love to reveal to you guys, because I think that a lot of people don't want to my ten-minute colors for y. So to me I use it when I want to you know I I'm short for time and I want to fuse the color together and quick, because I I want things to be done and fuse together fast as possible, but nothing is got a reveal. Patsy'S book, Michael, a guy, did my hair literally three days before we did the cover shoot for this book. It'S so cool. You know you can flip through this book and all of her goodies and recipes to fitness. Is it here and I'm so proud to be? Your friend I'm calling your bug so another sinus really yeah yeah night now, but where can we find on the inside man Simon? We can't ruin the cover do right here. If I can wait, Hank cuz, we like he, they just forgot everything: gosh, yes guy guy and you are my hair bestie. Okay guy, you are mine. Here'S that Suzie to all my hair besties out there.
