What'S the difference between tape, extensions and micro link, extensions, I'm Nina Ross, your hair and skin specialist? Let'S talk about it, okay, so let's talk about the type of extensions first, so this particular kind of tape in is designed for women that have really thin hair, and this is supposed to be placed at the top part so that it can mimic as if it's Coming from out of your scalp, if you have thin hair, it helps to give you volume. It helps to give you Lynn. This is right now, one of the newest, newer extensions. It'S come out. There'S a lot of marketing behind this. If you google, if you're typing up what is the best hair extension method, you will see tapered extensions. That may not necessarily be true, but because you know they're pushing it. A lot of women think this is one of the safest method. I, on the other hand, I have another opinion about it, because I just want to show you an example, so you take the strip off in the back and then there's an adhesive on both ends. Now, let's say this: was your hair right here and let's just put it right there cuz that's how your hair is actually kind of like loose on it and then this part is loose okay, so we have loose hair strands. That'S on this chair extension method. So with friction, we really have to be careful because you can pull your hair. Oh, so these little hair strands right here that you see can be pulled out. So if I have a client that come in and want their taping extensions, if their hair is really thin, this is a method that I would start you out on one, but once we get your hair strands to grow and thicker your hair is growing, then I'm Transitioning you into another hair extension method. Just for these particular reasons right here I had a client. She was wearing taping extensions. She was sleeping if she was a rough sleeper and she just ripped her hair off like that. So she had a big old patch of hair that was ripped off from the tape and extension. So it's like it's a good starter if you, if you want to wear hair extensions, but once your hair is in a healthier state and it starts to grow out, definitely definitely um. My recommendation is what I do is I actually transition my clients over to another hair extension method. Now, let's talk about the micro link, extensions, the micro link. Extensions is a strand by strand method. It looks like this and I actually have a black bead or in front of it, so you can see this so what I like to do with the micro link extension, because it is a strand by strand method when the installation is done, you want to make Sure that the amount of hair that you are attaching is equivalent to the hair strand, so I have two different colors, so you can see what I'm talking about both of these. The hair strands, if you can see, is the same as equivalent to each other so that the foundation matches the the weight of the hair strand. So if you were to pull you have a tighter, you have more of a tighter grip and more of a stronger foundation. If you ever had braids, you know that when your technician is doing your braids, she wants to make sure that the hair that she's putting in is equivalent to the hair that she grips. And you know when you get the small little micros. It'S a small amount of hair, this grip and it's not equivalent to the amount of hair that she's putting in. Of course, your edges is gon na fall off we're just gon na put the extension set, because it's not a enough hair. So, with the micro link, extensions is always important, very crucial that the hair that's taking out your natural hair is equivalent to the size of the extension that's being put in your hair, so that you have a strong foundation because we don't want any breakage small microbes. Michael Inc, extensions, I you know I totally advise from that, because in the long run, you're just going to experience hair loss. So if you were to ask me what method is the best? Well, my opinion is going to be the micro leaking since this strand by strand method, because your hair is secure inside of a small bead. The hair is equivalent to the hair strand and you have a stronger foundation. So if there is any friction, you are at risk, for, I would say, less possible damage to the hair follicles. With this method and plus we can control how much tension is applied to your hair. Now, don't get it twisted with tape and extensions. You can control the amount of tension based on how far you apply the the tape extensions to the scalp. But my only concerning issue is this is because your hair is out like this and if you think about you, if your hair is thin you're at more risk for hair loss. So this is a really good starting point, but definitely we want to transition you over to another method, alright guys. So that's my feedback about. What'S the difference between tape and extensions and micro link extensions, I do want you guys to comment below, because I want to hear your feedback like what are some of the experiences that you have when you are these methods, can you compare what what's? What did you like that you, like it apron extensions, did you like the micro link, extensions, please like and subscribe and until next time take care?
