So we had a question about our natural hair because yeah clearly like this, isn't all me, you know no, my hair. Unfortunately, it's not as long as I want it to be, and it could be. It could definitely be healthier. I am happy with what I have right now, so you guys will see me wearing like ponytails and also like wigs every so often, but when it comes to you know, wearing extensions, I don't overdo it like if I do clip in so I'll put them in And then I'll take them out the exact same day like if it's for a photo shoot or just you know, if I'm going on a date or whatever the case may be, and then I've posted videos showing you guys how I attach my braids with braiding hair And my wigs, I make sure that I don't use any glue or adhesive and same same thing applies, like I'll put it on in the morning, go to the grocery store or whatever, and then take it back off. You know and we can take the wig off. It'S fine later right here, yeah saver, for a rainy day. I don't try and put too much tension on my hair. So to answer your questions, you guys know this isn't my natural hair, but when I do choose to wear extensions, I'm always like really safe about it. Just because I don't want to damage my hair. I don't have my hairpin back because I just want it to show. As you can see my hair's, you got inches Nina yeah. I'Ve always had long hair. However, I do like wearing hair extensions. You guys not only I'm a professional stylist, but I specialize in hair care. I don't leave my extensions in for long periods of time, I'm constantly shampooing my hair and skull. I don't want you guys to think that if your hair is short, you don't have healthy hair that your hair has to be a certain length, because we have to take genetics into account. You know, came a constantly come in every we can get treatment here. May never be as long as my hair, because that's not her genetic makeup just because you wear hair extensions doesn't mean that your hair is healthy. What'S unhealthy about hair extensions and braids is tension wearing extensions wearing wigs, not shampooing your hair going months without taking care of your hair and scalp, that's very unhealthy. You know I barely have time to put. If I'm going to, you know Jill my hair down in the morning time, so this is just a little easy for me to wear my extensions, but most of the time the top of my hair is out and then I'll do like a brightness zone at the Top so that the extension is implanted into my natural hair, quick, real quick, can you just like go into why the braid list is your thing? Actually, I'm considering it so right so with the bright was someone your hair is still out. Your hair is left out throughout the technique, so you have access to your hair and scalp. So I've seen that your hair grows a lot and you have a more of a healthier scalp. So your you can shampoo your hair consistently you're, also taking care of your hair, not saying that your hair does not grow with the tradition of someone because it does grow. But what I found is that when you have the braid is selling in for long periods of time. Two to three months. Your hair is long, but the hair strands in itself becomes very dry and brittle. That'S that's pretty much why I stopped getting so ins because I wasn't like there was absolutely no hydration up there. No, it would take months. Owen thought y'all. When I was in college. I would leave him in for, like you know, I just I remember taking it down and my hair was just like breaking off and it was dry and like I was just like you know what I don't know, what to do. So I'm just gon na get another so in like yeah. That'S the reason why we do these type of techniques. We do the brain with stones. We do the micro link extensions and will you control how much tension is applied to your hair? A lot of my clients, don't tell you what I'm putting the extensions in and I will say: oh, is this too tight? Is it too much tension and if they say so, I can go in and I can adjust how much attention is applied. Doing these techniques with the magnetic extension, there is so many people that's doing this technique. It'S been out for a very long time. I'M originally from Miami we've been doing this for about 14 15 years now so, depending on the dish, the weight of the strand. That'S how much of your hair that I'm going to use so it's calibrated, so your hair is equal to the equivalent to the same size of the strand. Putting on your hair. Will it break your hair off? No will not break your hair off if it's done correctly, if you wait a long time to come in and to get maintenance, and you have a lot of new growth hanging down the same way, you would, if you were to get like individual Platts. Can your hair break off? Yes, it can break up because you have a bunch of loose hair that needs to be adjusted back to the base of the hair. So but it is, it is definitely a healthy method as far as braids I'm so happy. We'Ve come a long ways with the Nautilus braids. They are fabulous. They do not hurt the same thing. You can pull your hair up in a ponytail, I'm a black woman. I love to look good, but at the same time I want to make sure that I have a healthy, hair and scalp. You know I practice what I preach with my clients as well all right. So since I had to spill my tea, I want to know yours. What are you guys currently rocking? Is it a wig? Is it a sew-in?
