I'M going to show you how to install stick hair using micro links. First thing: you're going to want to do is take your threading tool and you're going to want to thread a micro link onto your tool and get that all ready to go. I'M gon na want to grab a small section of hair, try to grab a square piece go and using my latch hook, I'm gon na latch the natural hair, I'm gon na hook it and then I'm going to shut the latch slide. The link onto the hair, keeping the latch shut with my index finger and then holding the link against my scalp with the left hand, pull the hair through now you're ready to insert a piece of stick. Hair cut right into the link and the stick here should come out just a little bit, but you don't want to stick out too much using a smooth set of pliers. I'M going to go ahead and crimp down this link and I do so holding the hair in a downward position so that the hair wants to lay flat after its installed crimp that down and you're all set. I'M going to do another one and I'm going to do it a little further down emulate how to take one out after they've grown out a little bit and install another one, and for this one I'm going to pretend like it's kind of grown out like it's Been there for a little while, so I'm going to install it a little over an inch away from the scalp, I'm that one shut okay. So how to remove these? Is you use a rigid pair of pliers now the link we we pinched it flat? So now? What I'm gon na want to do is I'm going to turn it on its side using a rigid pair of pliers, I'm just gon na gently crunch. It the other way, so the link gets round again holding the natural hair with one hand, I'm going to grab the end of the extension with the other hand and just gently pull it off, and that's it.

Also, I went and bought the small rings and I'll be darned if I could do anything with them they were so teeny tiny! So, I went back and got the large rings and we'll see tonight if I have better luck. Thanks for your video!

cc Martin: do these stay in even with brushing shampooing and blowdrying? they seem like theyre better for my hair but im afraid of pulling one out or it falling out.
kennerzzz: i wear clip-in extensions. i find them easiest for me, because my hair grows an inch per month, so the upkeep on strand-by-strand extensions is too difficult for both me and my wallet.
Karen Nuñez: Great Video! i was just wondering im looking to buy some blonde extensions with the micro ring already on them and they are yellow will the ring show on my black hair? i want them for highlights since its less damaging for me than actually getting real higlights. i have a lot of hair if it helps do you think the rings will show???
