Hi welcome back to my channel. My name is tori. If you are new here for your return, subscriber thanks for coming back before you do anything, please one make sure you subscribe to also like and then comment on this video as it's going along. So, as you can see, my hair is blow dried. I am natural, i have 3c for a hair um, it's pretty long and thick, but i have fine strands and i'm on a growth journey so by next year. I hope to be like right here. I hope to gain about four or five more inches of hair anyways, so we're here today, because i wear my hair straight primarily um. My hair is natural, like i said, but i just prefer straight hair, so typically i'll wear it in a blowout and then i'll. Just transition that blow out into like a bun um and that just works for me. I think that's really helped me retain length and just grow my hair, and so today i wanted to try a new straightening hot tool, um, which i've never tried before. I'M a little nervous, so i'm gon na try for the first time with you guys, and it is the tymo straightening comb. So it's like a hot comb which i've never used, which i've always been scared of, just because i know so many women who have used hot comb just growing up and it always sounded really scary and i've seen them being used on people. And it really always looks scary, so i'm hoping this is not as scary um. I washed my hair deep conditioned it and i just applied this masani smooth serum before i blow-dried it. I don't know if that's enough moisture, i'm not really great at like the heat protectants and all that um. I do use old plex to wash and condition my hair, as well as using old clutch number three um, and today i did touch up my little red pieces. So i wanted to try the timer, because it just looks really interesting and i like trying new things. I plan on getting braids in the next three weeks, or so this is likely going to be the last time i straighten my hair unless i need to like go out or something um before then, but yeah, i'm ready for braids. My hair has been through enough and it's time to put her away so before i do that we're going to try this um, you get a bunch of things in the box. I'Ll probably do a little insert because it's just a lot to talk about, but i'll put a picture. I guess of what you get in the box and let's get started. Well, i look pretty pale. Let'S fix that, i'm not wearing any makeup! So yeah look a little a little dead in the face um, but i just plugged it in and so, as you can see it is on, and then you have to press this button to power it on and i'm going to choose the fourth light yeah. So i think, there's five, as you can see, if i do one more i'm not gon na, do the highest. I'M gon na do the fourth light um and so yeah, i'm gon na. Let that charge and then in the meantime, i'm going to section my hair. So i'm gon na start with the back of my hair little sections and i'm hoping it is 2 55 right now. I want to get through this in the next 15 minutes, so we shall see if that happens, wow it looks silly all right. Let me actually be a little smarter, i'm actually going to do one side at a time. I don't oh tell you what it is all right, so i think it's hot enough all right. So again, this is how it looks. It has little teeth. I'M going to pretty sure i just need to keep it in the middle and slowly move it down slowly, because i'm only trying to do one pass: okay, wow, okay. Okay, i like that. Let'S try some more i'm not using this, because this is just weird: we've real g's i've been treating my hair for 20 eye years - okay, maybe not 20, but almost and for me i only need one pass. I'M my hair straightens really easily. So i don't really care to do more than one pass. I think that's where heat damage comes in and i'm already freaking out. My hair, like my two red pieces, are almost fully straight from being um re-bleached, so yeah we're not doing that. The main reason i want braids i just need to like let my hair grow, because i definitely want to color these black again too. So once my braids are in i'm gon na keep them for, like hopefully, three weeks or so after a month. To be honest, um and then we're gon na go back to black. So let's try this again. So when you go closer you're going to put it in and slowly move it down and while it does have teeth or whatever it combs. I'M going to use this brush as well just to ensure that all of my hair is detangled before i go and pull it through. Okay and my hair is actually not that hot either and my hair does hold heat so kind of scared to pull it. To my roots, and so i'm not going to um, i may bump the ends later, but yeah i'm just going to keep doing this. Throw some music on so enjoy is all right. So i'm almost done with the first section and i love it um. I feel like i'm only doing one pass and i play my hair. It'S really thick, it's super straight um, it's really straight, but it still feels really thick, which i like. So let me just show you guys how i'm doing the front now, because i switch it up a little bit. So let me get a little section here. Let me just show you all here: i'm gon na start doing this going towards my face. I don't know why, but it feels right. It actually feels a little bit dry, it's okay! So what i'm doing for the front part like for the top is i don't know what that was so when i get to the top part, this is what i've been doing. You see. I was going on the bottom, but at this top part, because i actually care about my roots being straight up here, i'm going up a little bit and then i am going below i forgot to use my brush so that way i get see how shiny and Straight that is wow. I'M gon na show you gon na move up a little bit. I love this. I really love this a lot. I think this is amazing. If you have my hair type, which is 3c hair, pretty fine - and this is a good amount of section so again i want it to let you see the banding there. I want it to be straight up here, so i am going up top a little bit and then i am going underneath. I'M sure you could go up top the whole time, but i select underneath it just easier for me and it's 310. So this took me about 10 minutes or so see. My hair still has a lot of movement. I think this here is a little wavy. I don't know if you can see that, but that's, okay, i'm okay! With that i'll wait until i do my whole head and then see what's still showing but yeah like look at that, it's pretty straight. If you want to get your edges a little bit all right, i'm scared, but let's try it. Okay. That did something all right. So i'm gon na do my whole head and i'm gon na come back. My final thoughts, all right, so we're done took 30 minutes. What i am going to do now is, i have pretty blunt ends just because i just got to trim not too long ago. I'M gon na do now is just see if i can turn curve the ends inward just a little bit, so i'm going to take it. I'M gon na yeah. It works, look! Okay, cool! Let me do the other side. It'S a little tough. You should probably not do the whole thing, but we're going to do the whole thing again. My ends are really blunt. You want to hold it as you're pulling it down perfect. Okay, yeah! I actually really like this okay, so i would say the timer straightener. Let me turn it off. It'S really close to my face. This is a go. I love this. Let'S see, let me just let's move my fly away a little bit. I turned it off. So, okay, i have a lot of flyaways. I have breakage okay, so i love the timo. If you have tried the timer, let me know if you like it below. Let me know your hair type. I think again, like i said i have 3c hair nearing 4a, but because i use so much heat every few weeks or so. I think my curl pattern has loosened a tiny bit, especially here in the front because of the bleach but yeah i mean i look like cousin it now um. I enjoyed this straightening process. I think it was really simple. I usually use the revlon round brush um, but what i did this time was just again wash conditioned. I just took a blow dryer and like just stretched it out and then blow dry it a little bit, so it was semi straight like my hair was straight, but it wasn't bone straight um. I didn't want to use as much heat i think moving forward. However, i'm going to let my hair air dry and like twist or braids and then lightly blow dry it just enough to stretch it and then use this. So i use even less heat, but i didn't have time today because i went through this video, so yeah thanks for watching. I hope you enjoyed again give it a like share with your friends comment down below, and i will see you on my next video
