She came here to Houston Texas from Atlanta, so shoutout tomatoey she's. Amazing. Thank you for giving us this wonderful technique to do. But this is my client and she's been wearing sew ins and she wanted the freedom she works out. She has a wife, she has to go to work. She has to look good. A lot of freedom love this style because she can do her half-up half-down. She just wants to put this up real quick get out of her face. Do whatever she wants to do. If she wants to wear a high ponytail high bun, she could do that if she wants to partner here in the middle or the side she can do so if she wants to tuck it behind her ears and be fancy, she can do that as well. This is a wonderful, versatile look and the reason I love it. The most is because your natural hair is out. HolisticLiving: Hi Chara, I posted one of your older posts about relaxed hair and sew-in. Do you still not recommend it? What if you do a sew-in 12 weeks post relaxer and don't want microlinks? "Houstonweaves at Canvas Hair Studio Houston TX 4 years ago Hello. There are a few things you should know about a sew in. If you are relaxed and decide to go into a weave you will experience a lot of shedding that first install. You hair is use to being out and being treated every 2 weeks, so to put it up for 2 or 3 months causes shock. the relaxed hair usually is not strong enough to hold braids and commercial hair. this is the reason I coach most of my clients into going natural. You sort of have to pick a side . If you want to keep your relaxer the best option is to just wear clips from time to time. Not every day. your protective styles when relaxed are the roller sets or bun/pony tail styles. The roller wrap is everything when you are in college lol. Stay away from braids if you plan to stay relaxed. Now if you are willing to try natural please be prepared to grow a new set of hair and do your research on ...... THE BIG CHOP. scary but thats about what you would have to do. Or you can trim a little off each time."
