How I Lay My Tracks | No Clips, No Glue, No Needle & Thread

Hey beauts, I came up with this method of laying my tracks when I was in the strugggle in Sierra Leone. it's honestly an absolute life saver!

Hair used is "Zuhra hair" which I don't think is still in business. This is the link but the website seems to be closed --- http://www.zuhra.co.uk/

Hey everyone walking back to my channel so for today's video, I'm gon na be doing a hair tutorial. This is my struggle style in between hair appointment care. When I even first figured out how to do this, I was in Sierra Leone and of course, that my hairdresser was nowhere near me, and I knew I was gon na braid, my hair, but I didn't know when I was gon na braid it. I was going out in a few hours. I was pretty much in a desperate situation, so I came up with this since then, though, it's turned into something that I always do. I don't ever leave them for longer than a few hours. So I'll probably do it before a night out or if I'm going to campus for a few hours, it lays pretty flat, as you can see, and I've just never had any issues with it. You can do it lots of different hairstyles. You can leave some of your hair at the back inside up if you want to you're feeling adventurous, but only see guys. I just tried to play it as safe as possible, and just you know thank my lucky stars that I was even able to do this and just leave all of the different creations for when I have stone in tracks other than that. I hope you guys all have an amazing day and really enjoy the video and I'll see you in my next one. So I start off with some freshly washed and blow-dried hair, and then I just apply some moisturizer. I don't like to kind of comb through and part my hair if there isn't any moisture in my head whatsoever. So that's why I'm just applying a tiny bit now, but I will be applying a bit more later and I'll. Explain to you guys why so the next step is just to part your hair. Now I'm gon na be doing a middle parting, which is why I'm doing a u-shape at the top of my head. But, of course, if you want to do a side parting, all you have to do is part your hair on either the left or right side of your heads, depending on where you want your parting. So the next thing is just to twist the front portion of your hair. This is going to be your leave out if you haven't guessed already, and I'm just twisting this so that it doesn't get in the way. When I go to apply my extensions to the rest of my head and then I'm going to be moisturizing. I use quite a lot of moisturizer when I do this style, because the moisturizer kind of dampens my hair and allows it to fall back into the ponytail as flat as possible. The flatter you are able to get your hair in the ponytail. The more laid your extensions are going to look so now, I'm literally just packing all of my hair back into that low ponytail that I was just talking about, you literally try it and get it as low and as flat as possible. I cannot stress that enough and I'll be explaining exactly why I do this method and little bit later on. I then split my ponytail into you and I twist the one half clip it to the right side of my head and then I do the exact same on the other side. Again, try and get this as flat as possible as well and now I'll be moving on to the extensions. So I get the tracks and I measure from ear to ear and then I fold the extension so that they are the exact length which I have measured and I lay my tracks in that position. So I just put a bobby pin on the left side on the right side and then roughly about three going around the back and then I'll measure a couple of inches up and do the exact same method with the extensions. And I just keep going until I get right round where my leave out is. I do tend to brush the hair through as well as I'm going up just to make sure that it doesn't get kind of tangled or any strands aren't stuck in the clips. Also, I should add that you can place the bobby pins kind of up and down. However, you choose going around the perimeter of the head, but right on the edges, so you know the two ends of the track: slide them in horizontally, so the same direction as the tracks are going because if you put them up there, then they're more likely to Show through and if you put them facing down, then the weave is more likely to fall out. I find that laying them flat like that is both the most secure, but also the most discreet. So I'm just gon na go over all my hair and straightening through, just as I usually would do, but just as a side note, you can see how secure the hair actually is. I mean it's not the most secure hairstyle. So, as I said before, I wouldn't leave this for longer than a couple of hours, but that being said, it is quite durable, especially considering all I've done is used bobby pins for this style. As I said, this is kind of my in-between weave hairstyle. So it's definitely not something. I do all the time. It'S actually very rare for me to rock this hairstyle. That being said, if you do want to be doing this either more frequently or for a longer period of time, you know longer than a couple of hours. Then I would just say: invest in some clippings, you can actually just buy them really cheaply from the hair shop and sew them onto the tracks. If you are doing that, then you can also cut your track so that the exact measurements that you need - and you won't have to kind of fold them over like I do that way. You'Ll have all of the exact track. Lengths that you need they'll, be so precise, so specific and I'm sure, will look even more natural and even better and be even more secure than what I've done today. So the reason that I tie my hair back before applying tracks is for two reasons. Mainly, I've done the traditional method. Before where I have a layer of my hair, I lay over the track. They layer of my hand, cetera et cetera. Firstly, the hair texture is so different. You always end up seeing my hair kind of poking through the extensions. Oh god, that is just not cute at all. The second thing is that my hair, of course, because it's quite a bit thicker - it pulls out a bit instead of down and flat, which means that, as my hair is kind of coming out, the weave is just sitting on top of it and it ends up As being a strange kind of triangular shape, instead of just falling flowing downwards, like a waterfall, which is the look that I am going for, so I just find tying it all back and then just clipping the extensions in and allowing them just to fall into each Other and just flow and be is the best thing for me, and I only have to worry about blending my leave out, which is just a far easier task than you know. My entire head of hair, I'm obviously also means less heat damage. Make sure that when you're straightening you'll leave out you turn the heat down, my hair cannot and should not enjoy the high heat use to straighten the weave. So I think I was straightening the extensions on about 220 and when it came to straightening my real hair, I lowered it to about a 140. So, yes, I am going over my hair quite a lot, but seriously the heat is so low and then I just brush all of that through just to ensure that it is blended before adding some edge control to my edges. Of course, this hair, by the way, is by Zura hair, I'm not sure whether they as a hair company are still open. But if I can find any details that, of course they will be posted down in the description bar below. Of course, I just put my headscarf this step really helps for making sure again that the hair is as late as possible. So I just leave it on for about. You know 10 minutes, while I'm doing other random stuff before I go out, and then I just remove it and re Jake everything so that it just looks how I want it to look and I'm pretty much good to go. So. Thank you guys for watching this. Video I'll see you all in my next one, bye, hey guys, welcome back to my channel so for today's video I'm going to be doing a what I eat an 8 day and video since becoming vegan. The first question that people don't ask me is possible: do you eat so I thought it'd be interesting, for you guys to see.

B W: Just did this Friday. Put a cute hat that matches my outfit on top for extra security. I slayed! And what are all these comments about “fighting?” Y’all must be in high school or living in the hood because I’d be more concerned about fighting the wind than another person.

Tania Pierre: This is actually not a bad ideal if you going out for a few hours. But I would braid my hair under to make flatter and make it more secure

Yesterday I was watching videos on Clip in extensions and i want to get some and I've just seen your video doing the same thing but with Bobby pin and I just realised I could just make my own extensions by buying the hair and adding the clips myself . Netty D: Well! I think it’s adorable!! And you haven’t loss your hair line!

Angel Mendoza: I have one question...how do they not fall out when you comb it
