HHQueen: Very good and helpful! I'm glad I found this video! But I really really wish you had mentioned some other pitfalls that beginners can fall into. Keep the roots of the natural hair braids loose. IF THEY ARE TOO TIGHT YOU COULD END UP RIPPING OUT YOUR HAIR. Same goes for extensions that are too heavy, the hair will also rip and tear over time. I found this info out from a friend of mine who is a hair dresser. She had some horror stories that all sprang from styles that were done too tight! Keep looking good ladies, but PLEASE be kind to your scalps!

Tola Adisa: I gave this style a go over the weekend and it took forever and I have been braiding my own hair for years. Took me at least 4 hours to prep the braids....then at least 2.5 hrs to braid my own hair...The crochet bit took at least 4 hours and I had help too. I made 84 braids in all. Tips ladies...make sure you braid the Base of your hair loosely otherwise it'll be difficult for the braid to slip through the hair. Mine is so tight that I have a headache now...lol..don't know how freedom managed to be swinging her hair like that at the end of the video! Hope this helps.
