We just down with the cleaning, is over here cleaning this and seriously. On a truly personal note, trusting my strands right now through such a difficult time, which is postpartum shedding. For me that is very difficult, and so it's just like wash days or a chore, uh wash wash days, are kind of traumatic um and the fact that this was able to make my hair feel so good, so luxurious, so soft, so fluffy um it just it Felt amazing and honey she smelled good, so chad, i am so just in love with these products. So in this video i attempt my first braid out i'm trying to do different things that i add volume to my hair, to kind of disguise the thinness and even the ball patches and yes, she got some of them and so in this video you'll be able To see how i was able to do this, so sit back, relax, let's pull these products out and get these hair together. Let'S have a look: let go so to save myself from crying on camera. I took care of washing my hair off camera and it's time to go to my board until the night. So this is the consistency honey. This is a brand new bottle. Listen. I got to keep the thing on me, so this is the consistency thick. Yes now i will say this number one. This does not take a lot of product to use. I'M just super heavy-handed anyway. That'S just how i get down, but it's effective without using a lot. It actually spreads very easily and number two best practice. Oh this smells so good. Oh, we wish you a merry christmas sweet, but best practice from personal experience is to apply this to soaking, wet hair. I find that with more botanical ingredients they work best with water like we should be using water on our natural hair anyway, but botanical ingredients ain't. No cutting corners you got to put in that work, so let me go get my spray bottle. I'M gon na really get that water on there. I promise you. This is one of the best products on the market period. I'M just work this through real, quick and let me say this again: i'm postpartum shedding all that good stuff. So if you see some hair coming out, while i detangle no, you didn't and one good thing that i do like about until the night is. You can use this as a leave-in or a real conditioner, meaning you can just go from water jump on out of the shower and slap that thing on is that powerful? So i do at times when i want to save a little bit of time. I skip deep conditioning and i just put untie the knot on put a cap on top. Let it sit for about 15 minutes and then i leave it in okay, because that's what we're doing we're leaving it in. So that's actually what i'm going to do right now, i'm going to spray my hair with water all over i'm going to apply untie the knot and i'll put a cap on and let it sit for 15 minutes and then i'm going to leave it like i'm About to leave you right now and i'll come back for the next step, be right back and we are back. I have let this leave-in sit for about 15 minutes and, first of all, look at how the curls is looking already. They look really really hydrated, which i love and appreciate right now anything that look good on this little complicated head of mine. I really appreciate, secondly, here's what i'm going to do, because my hair is going through such a sensitive time, i'm trying to keep it as elongated as possible, so i'm actually going to go off camera and blow out my hair with cold air, and i'm doing it Just to elongate my hair for the styling process, i am actually getting ready to attempt my first braid out. Y'All know i'm a wash and go and twist out girl pretty much. I know in between, unless i'm just feeling sparkly that day today, ain't real sparkly. So let me go ahead and blow out my hair and i'll be right: back greetings, earthlings, so listen, four score and 70 years ago. I started this wash day, but that's the thing living with a newborn. They disrespect. So the portion of the video that you just watched was actually recorded yesterday. So not only does my hair look a mess, it's dry and what did i tell you about products with botanical ingredients? You need water, so i'm getting ready to actually use curl supreme baby. One thing i can say about this particular product is: she is consistent and if you don't know what i'm talking about it is the styling cream from trey. Looks it's the four in one hydrating cream now, with curl supreme, my results are always consistent. Not only is it hydrated and bouncy and just feel real soft silky and smooth shaving cute double so, like i said, with all the other products so sulfates, we all know silicones. Just for me, so what i'm going to do because, like i said, i do need to use water in the styling process and before y'all clock me. Yes, i am in desperate need of a trim, but anyway, so in order to achieve the style that i'm going for, i am going to use some water like i said, because it's the right thing to do and i'm gon na work this water in and that's Where my boo curl supreme, come in, so i'm just taking a little bit. This is just to add some moisture to my hair and some um additional softness because honey. She needs that and we're gon na work that in really really good. But the star of this particular video is reflex, which is the styling serum from trey lux, and the reason i'm using this is because number one like i said. I need a trim and, with this being a smoothing product, it'll help my hair to look a little bit more polished and number two. It adds a little bit more hold than just the cream by itself. So i'm going to take some of this serum just like that. Just a little bit, you probably can't even see it honey. Is it just a little bit? I'M put this on this entire section and again with trey lux products. They are, in my opinion. They are so well formulated. You do not need a lot at all, so i got some water, some curl supreme cream and the reflex serum and my hair feels really good already and i'm getting ready to try this bright outside. I hope this is cute because listen, this is not my ministry, so i'm just taking this section right here and all these girls look good hey. I hope they stay on my head, but that's all another conversation, but anyway, i'm gon na go ahead and split this into three section and do a braid all the way down, and the thing that i am looking forward to is because i'm not using an overabundance Of product like i'll go hard with inside or not because you know she my boo, like that, but with the styling products i kind of take a different route just because anybody got all day to wait for it to dry, especially right now because, like i said New ones are disrespectful, so i'm continuing to braid this all the way down and then, when i get to a good stopping point, because i want it to have like a really loose curl at the end, i'm gon na go ahead and twist this around my finger Baby that little curl look cute actually cute. Look at her look at her all right, so this is another section now the product is already on there. So, of course, i don't have to add any more so i'm gon na go ahead and braid this down as well. I'M really hoping this turned out cute y'all, listen because i was tortured watching all that hair come out when i was watching it. The least i can do is get a cute style out of it. You understand so i'm gon na go ahead and braid this all the way down, and once i get to a really good stopping point, i'm gon na put all these pieces together and give her a tutorial all right. First of all, for me to need a trim. These ends are looking amazing. My hair feels super smooth and i'm really attributing that to reflex. So this is what i'm gon na. Do i'm gon na go ahead and do this whole process throughout my head, spread the thing down with water. Put some curl supreme for some moisture put some reflex on there for some extra moisture, some shine and some hold some smoothing because honey, i'm in need of all that with a miracle attached to it as well, because my hair is a mess and i will come Back and join you tomorrow once i wake up, be right back and we are back. I am looking like somebody's juvenile delinquent, but we're gon na get that together. So again i styled my hair by making sure it was damp, and then i put the curl supreme, which again she consistent all the time, and then i put serum on top to let it get a little bit of extra hold. My intent was to get under the dryer because that's when i feel like i get the best look, but the way this newborn well, he ain't no newborn, no more. The way, this life in the house, with the infinite set up she air dried for two days. All right, so this is what we're going to do as far as styling goes, i'm just going to unravel the little curl that i put at the end. Y'All, don't clock me: i need a trim really badly and so then, from there i'm going to go ahead and just un-braid and i'm going to do that all the way around and just unravel all the braids. My hair smells so freaking good right now. I just can't listen, my hair smells good and though i could go ahead and wait, i'm going to separate as i go and again that's going to add just a little bit of frizz, but i don't mind and i'm kind of just pulling apart where the braids Naturally, want to separate not doing too much manipulation right now, just because listen, the way my hair is set up. I won't even do too much. Okay, my braids are removed, so i'm going to add just a little bit more volume, and let me say this: you may see some frizz in my hair. Please note that it's not an indictment on the product. It is 100 me. I am seriously all jokes aside. I am really at um, i'm in a complicated time with my hair because of postpartum shedding. It is it's a lot and so, in order to hide the visibly thinness that i'm going through i'm having to volumize my hair now y'all know, usually you have to choose between definition and volume and right now definition got away. I got to volumize this, so let me go ahead and add a little bit more just by fluffing at the roots. All right, i think we got it and although i'm dealing with some patchwork going on, i love the fact that my hair feels so hydrated. It feels so soft to the touch it feels like the hair that i'm used to pre day. I didn't i did no, but my hair is. It feels amazing, and i love the fact that it is hydrated.
