So for today's silk press, we're going to start off with my hair after it's been worn out for a few days, i didn't like wash it or anything, because i know i'm going to be putting in some clip in so of course, we need to separate everything Into sections, because trying to get this entire head to be straight all at once is just going to be way too much, so you guys know i like to start in the back, it's just easier for me and i'm just sectioning off the top, putting it in A nice little ponytail and then i'm going to take my straightening brush and my chi, of course, and i'm just going to use that to get the hair nice and straight. It'S not going to be super super straight because we're going to go in afterwards with a flat iron but, like i said, i'm just using my hot brush to blow it out. This is the same thing as if i would use like a hot comb, but not as straight as a hot comb would make it like. I said i'm gon na go in right after this and we're going to straighten it out with my flat irons. So this is my hair. After it's been fully straightened with the brush, as you can see, it's not like super straight. It just kind of has that, like blown out, look or like how your hair will look after you've already straightened it, and it's been worn out for like a week or so. So this is how small the sections are going to be um we're going to straighten each section, not straightening the roots, though, if you've watched my previous um silk press videos, you know that we got to get those roots super super straight, but we don't want to Do that today, because we want those clip-ins to be able to stick really really good to the root, and if we make the roots too straight, then the clip-ins would just slip out easier. So here are my clip-ins from curls queen they came in this nice little satin gold bag and i have a hundred grams, and this is perfect for my whole head um. They look super straight and, of course, i'll have everything linked down below, so you guys can have these exact clip-ins and then see what else they have on their site. I'M just holding it up to my hair and it is a perfect match which is great. So the clip-ins are pretty standard, most clip-ins kind of come in the same pattern. You'Ll get two fives two fours two threes and then four twos and i usually all the way in the back i'll use. A three then, like the next row, might be like a four. The fives go directly in the middle, because that is the widest part of my head and then the twos go all the way at the top in the front. So i'm starting with a three piece that one fits right in my back and then we're just going to keep going up we're going to straighten it after we clip it in. So we can make sure that it's blended well with the hair. Even though the hair came straight, it does have a little bit of a wave to it and i switched my roll for you guys. So you can see the hair better and just see that color and everything like that. I don't mind going in with the hot comb after i've already attached it to my head, because then um the hair is already in, so i don't have to worry about it like coming out or anything. What'S up, do you guys see this hair like this looks so freaking good, so smooth, and i really only have to do like one pass, because it's pretty much all the way straight like i said it just comes to have a little bit of a wave to It from it like being kind of bunched up in the package, but i only had to do like one pass and it looks really really good. What now that we are at the top, you do want to make sure that those roots are straight, because this is the part where people are really going to see and the back like. I said it really doesn't matter, and you kind of want to leave it. A little thick in the root so that um, the clips, can have something to stick to and it doesn't just slide down off your hair. Even though that's it's really not going to do it like it's, not as easy as it sounds for it to slide out, but, like i said it just gives it a little bit more sturdiness while it's in there, you know, with the your roots being nice and Thick but like i said once you get to the top, you want those roots to be super straight, the same way we would, if we were just not including clip-ins, and we just straightened our entire head, because this is the part that everyone is going to see. What'S up wow fox foreign, look, how flawless this hair blends and with the clip-ins? This is crazy, like once i comb it down it blends in and literally all i used was my chi and i didn't even wash my hair, so it kind of still had a little bit of product in it, which kind of makes it a little bit sticky. But this is great. Like it's blending in super super bomb, it looks like i just got like a perm or something what's up, oh i'm going in and i'm adding just a little bit of layers to the front. I always do this when i'm wearing like a straight middle part. It just frames my face and it just makes everything look ten times better and then, of course, we got ta go without flat, irons after and bump those ends boom right. The ends were looking a little bit thin, so i did this nice blunt cup, and now it looks so much healthier plus i love the way that blunt cut looks. I think it just gives it a really really nice appeal and boom do y'all see this once it's all together. The only thing that kinda like blew me is like it doesn't. I, like my hair, like my straight hair, to have lots and lots and lots of movement, but realistically with our hair texture. It'S just not realistic, like it's going to have a little bit of stiffness to it, because that's just how our hair texture is designed. If i would have got something straighter, it wouldn't have blended with my natural hair and it would have looked a hot mess honestly. So, like i said, this is great, it looks like i just got a perm, or this is like what my hair would look like. After i've gotten the silk press, i love the way it turned out, make sure you shop with them i'll. Have everything linked down below? I love you all so much, and i will see you in my next video
