Invisible Hairline Crochet(Tm)

This technique also your hair to be flexible with out having tension on the hairline. No pulling, bumps, tenderness etc. This protective style love very natural as well. This can add to those with a receding hairline as well.

Hey everyone, this video is simply to show and demonstrate how to create crochet hairstyle with a protective hairline, so you're going to start with the natural hair, of course, already shampoo blonde dry clipped up and you're going to part your hair and you're always going to use Some type of jam braiding wax. So what we're going to do is we're going to take the crochet hair. I always like to split it in half just to make it a little bit thinner. So it's not as bulky on the hairline. I am going to take about 1 4 of the section i want to place it on the forehead and there's going to be some client participation, so my client is going to hold a piece of it very close to her hairline as tight as she can. I'M going to take the remaining 1 4 of the hair and i'm going to break it up into three pieces. I'M going to take that hair and i'm going to braid into the hair, as if i were braiding something for a braiding foundation for a crochet. So that's what i'm going to do here and i'm just going to continue to braid it back braid it all the way down. Then i'm going to work on the next section and i'm going to connect the hair to where it's flat in the nape area always use a protective jam all the way, through all the way to the ends which it helps with keeping the hair moisturized with your Braids so now that we're finished, i'm gon na have my client let her finger up, and this is the finished result and the start to her invisible hairline. So i continued to braid straight back and then, as far as the middle is concerned, i actually do not go all the way back. I just braid halfway now. This is what it looks like up close and you can see that the hair is coming out. So where is no tension on the hairline at all? For this type of technique, i would also recommend a looser curl or a different texture, be careful with the texture that you choose. Tighter curl patterns, maybe a little bit harder to separate. So from a better angle, you can see how the invisible hairline is looking. We again are going to part and apply some shine and jam on the roots, just to make it easier to braid we're going to take our crochet hair, we're going to split it in half, i'm going to actually smooth it out with my fingers just to get That hair back into the curl formation, i'm going to place it on my client's head and again i'm going to have her help. I want to separate the strands into three and i'm going to begin to braid the hair into her natural hair on the brand of hair. You can sometimes use mousse if the hair is not to your liking or you can use a foam wrap to keep that hair a little bit slicker and it'll be easier for you to braid as well. I find this technique extremely helpful. It keeps a lot of tension off the hairline instead of pulling the hair just laying directly on the scalp. Now, once i get to this middle section, this is where i criss cross. It eliminates gaps and allows the hair to look flat from all angles, and i really like this technique because it just creates so much more shape and naturalness, even when you want to pull it up or wear it down. So this now that we're finished is the invisible hairline. Now we are ready to apply the crochet hair about 1 4 away from the hairline. So, as you see i'm behind where i started the hair to braid in i'm going to loop that hair in - and i want to do my crochet method now - my method may be different from everyone else's, but i don't always do the same. Loop tie routine for everyone's hair or the type of hair texture that i'm using here, i'm just kind of tying it in twice and then i'm going to go on to the next piece and then so forth. I'Ll just continue this method all the way through and make sure it's all flawless, and then this is our finished result. Nice and full the front lays perfectly to where it has a lot of shape, dimension and body, and she can also pull this up, and this is what shows the invisible hairline to where there's no knots and less tension on the scalp, and she can have it. As flexible as possible, i hope you guys enjoyed this video. Make sure you like comment and subscribe. Follow us on facebook, instagram and youtube. Everything is royal hair treatment.

I braid my own hair and I tried using braiding jam and find it creates havoc when it comes to deranging. How do you and your clients deal with this issue?

Shirley H.: Excellent job!!!
