Long Sleek Braid Tutorial (With Extensions)

Hey guys welcome to my channel at Rika Dorn, so today, I'm coming with another hair tutorial for you guys, that's really easy and super simple to do. All you really are going to need is synthetic hair, so I'm using an expression here. This is just the hair. I had laying around in the house. All you need is like a quarter of one pack of braiding hair, so this is a braiding hair. I'M using this is like the darkest color, because my hair is very dark as well, so I'm just going to be sharing. Basically, how to add an extension to your braid to natural hair. I basically what I did was I'm going to show you what the hair look like. This is how long the hair was, but I cut it in half, so it was like one really long piece, but I cut the hair in half and then from that half piece. I split it into a quarter. So really it's up to you. So it's all about the density of your natural hair and basically that's how much hair I kind of have left when I want to add the hair. So this is why I ended up with this much so you can add as much hair or as less hair as you like. So I'm going to start off by making sure my middle part is where I want it to be, so I'm just going to make sure it's straight on now. You don't have to do the middle part, but I just like the look of the middle part. So that's why I'm doing that. So once I got my little part down, that's what I'm going to take some water! That'S all that is here! You just spray my hair down and going in with a bristle brush, I'm just going to brush it and just to make sure the water is evenly distributed, and then I'm gon na take some eco styler gel I'm using the green one goes like this. It doesn't really matter which one you use you just don't want something to give your hair cold. So I'm just applying that to help with all my flyaways and anything that I just want my hair to be as flat as possible. I'M going to take a piece out about maybe this much. This is just what we use to wrap the bass in my ponytail, so I'm going to leave this piece out onto the side and then I'm going to braid this into one braid before I do that. I'M going to take some edge control and that's just to help me like get a hold of my hair better, but just move out here too Hey and once I'm breathing enough of it, then I can pull it towards the front. I just brave like that. So I can see all right, so I can get my braids to be straight back because if you braid it forward, then your braids not going to be right in the middle okay, so about this. Much is where I'm going to stop, because my hair is starting to thin out when it comes to the ends. So that's where I take my extension. You have three pieces. You have your outer corner, like you, two outer leg and then the middle piece. All I'm going to do is take the hair and put it on the outer corner. I'M taking my hair, I'm putting it on one outside like this, is going with the outside hair and then I'm not putting any of the extension in the middle. I'M putting my other the other piece. It'S gon na be like the you kind of eye to the outer, so you have two outer pieces and then you're gon na continue braiding with them. Take some of one of the extension like the longer pieces and add it on to the braid that didn't have anything and then, once you finish, braiding it we're going to go into the piece of hair that we left out. So for this I'm just going to brush this out and then I'm going to take my got to be free, gel and just wrap it around the base of my home, Joe
