#279. How To Get The Braids The Same Size, Part 1

http://hair4thelow.com/3-tone-hair-bra...

Welcome back to my channel this video is about how I get all my braids to be similar, how I get all of them to be proportional, same size, same look, a uniform I'll, be using here from hair photo lucam we're using three tone: 24 inch, hair braiding. We call this color honey blonde, I'm not sure how many packs I'll be using yet because if this one is a specific order, she want them very small, so stay tuned, I'm using this to dry cool. This is from Walmart. This will be holding the hair. For me I'll be using this chair to pretend my phone will be sitting there to film it I'll be sitting here and there's just some light stay tuned. Okay! Now, let's start with splitting the hair proportionally what you do when you first get your back. You start splitting into two. The most important part is feeling the hair when you feel it live now, I'm feeling it this is thicker than this. If you look, you may not see it, which is very important to fill the hair. This is thicker than this. So I'll just take a little bit more important. That seems yeah. Now they kind of feel the same. It'S not gon na be 100 %. The same then series since we just fill in it, but now I kind of feel like deta same now, that we have them separated into two. I'M just gon na take one and put it to the side and focus on this one. We'Ll do the same thing for this one too, once you get a hold of it you'll, do it faster, I'm not gon na. Do it faster here, because I'm trying to help you understand how I'm doing it, but it's not really time-consuming. You just feel it. They both feel the same. I'M playing this on the side to you split this into two again feel the same to me. So let's put these here and split the stops. Sorry and we'll split this into two okay. Now we have four braids. This is four will make sure we do the same thing for the other half that's. If the person wants some medium braids, so that means one pack will be eight braids. This is for the other one would before, but this specific person asked me to make some small braids. So what I would do is I'll be splitting these into two because she wants them. Small, don't forget to fill the hair as you split them. I'Ll split this into two now do the same for these now we have eight braids for half of the packs, so in total one pack should give us 16 braids, 16 2 to 17. The reason I'm saying 17 is because, even though you take your time and split them that well, one of them will be thin and one of them may be too thick. So, as you braid you'll, be taking a little bit of hair out I'll show you that in a few minutes, what I'll do with those 8 I'll just hang them on the hanger and then come back to repeat the same process for this one see now. I have 8 braids hanging there I'll just take the other half and repeat the same process. What I did was this is the middle of the hair. The elastic band will always remind you, the middle of the hair. You see it's brush to hear a little bit. This is the middle of the hair and we make sure it's still equal. You split this into two always filling the hair, as you split it. What'S good about this hair is when you start splitting, my diet doesn't tangle. It will tangle once you start working with it because of the texture of the hair, but I'll show you what you can do to prevent it from tangling and turning bad yeah. They kind of feel the same I'll rest this on the side and split this into two again and kind of fill it okay and I'll go ahead and split this into two fill it okay, since I want it braids out of them, not four I'll split. Each of them into two - this is what I was talking about, even though I tried my best to make them equal and I kind of feel like you can't tell that this is thicker than this. So what I would do I just take a little bit of it and add it on this one, take a little bit and feel it and add: okay. Now they kind of look similar. We don't know yet we'll find out once we start splitting them into two. Let'S split this one: okay: now we have an order. It breeds s trying to break two braids I'll, go ahead and hang them there again. Then we'll start braiding so far. This is what we have. This is just three parks. Each row has a 16 strands on them. I'M gon na do the last one. Then we start braiding

Icarryyou490: The two racks that's holding the pieces of hair what are they called and where can they be purchased?

Keeping it Natural: Can you post a link for the rack you have the hair on?

raji fonte: I want to cry because for YEAAAAAAARS YEARS I BEEN TRYING TO FIND A VIDEO THAT EXPLAIN HOW MUCH HAIR TO USE. HOW TO SET IT UP, HOW TO SEPARATE. HOW TO KNOW THICKNESS. all the other " so called begginer tutorials" ARE NOT BEGGINER FRIENDLY , because obviously a begginer needs to know how to start the weave off. How to set up etc. those other so called teachers all only show how to make a square ,grease around it, make it a mini ponytail, and wrap weave around it and do a regular box braid, even how to even out the braid. BUT I COULD NEVER EVER EVEN START THAT CUZ I DIDNT KNOW HOW MUCH HAIR DOES SOMEONE USE FOR WHAT SIZE BRAID. BY THE WAY THAT WOULD MAKE AN EXCELLENT NEXT VIDEO. SHOWING EACH SIZE BOX BRAID AND HOW MUCH WEAVE TO USE. AND THEN A PART TWO FOR CORN ROWS. DO LIKE A "REAL BEGGINER" SERIES.

Sharnice Smills: How make braids per pack for jumbo braids please???

xc edits o: May I ask a question? I'll wait forever for the answer bcuz I know u know your stuff! I have very thick 3c hair. My hair is a lil loose curl pattern but very thick! I normally wear box braids for protection. I have a gf who does my hair n I noticed when she does it.... A lot of my goddam hair is coming out if the braid! Not a lil bit...a lot and as time goes on my hair get gets more n more curly n puffy outside of the braid. She says its just my hair type. It cant be bcuz I've got plenty of jumbo bix braids n my hair doesn't come out of the braid. She's not using enough hair (kanekalon) right??

Alicia Ngozi: Where would I find a braiding rack like that and what is it called?

SACCITYTREES & THEDELTABREEZE: Where did u purchase your braiding dowel (the wood pieces u have holding the hair)?
