Because her back of her is very short and her hair is damaged at the back, I would do single balls brace at the back, not crochet braids. Lee Kelly: Thanks for posting this! I watched it as a guide for how to do my hair before going to Jamaica. I was nervous that it wouldn't come out right because I was trying something new for the first time. I'd braided my own hair years ago the old school way. So, I was scared that I would not be able to do as good a job as you did in this video and that the style might not hold up at ths beaches in Jamaica. Welp, my hair turned out great! ...And more importantly, the braids held up during my trip to Jamaica and withstood my beach recreation there. Plus I've received lots of compliments while in Jamaica and in the states. So a big thank you to you. I saved a ton of money doing my hair myself all on the strength of watching this tutorial.

LdyNatural87: Have you ever thought about using kinky human hair for a vixen crochet install? Using a microlink applied with a beader just below the knot to prevent slippage. I tried it on a sample of my hair, I think it will turn out great. But I don't make videos.
