Hey this is beauty by the bee. My name is Bridget today, I'm gon na be filming and how to take out my extensions right here. So if you're interested in learning how to get your weave out yourself just continue watching okay, so first I'm gon na separate my hair and we just came from the gym. So I have this like janky braid, that's coming out, but I'm just gon na take the ponytail from my braid and then grab all of my hair and now I'm gon na pull this real tight. I want this into a tiny little bun, because when I'm moving around these scissors, I don't want to cut the ends of my hair off little sumo bun on top okay. Now I'm just going to take these scissors and when I hide with long pointy nails I would just grab. I would like to stab them through the the thread and then that was super easy to feel and like make sure I didn't cut my real hair. So this is the first time I've ever done it without nails, so I don't know how that's gon na go. So what I'm doing I'm just like looking for a place to start, I'm just looking for the first piece of thread that I can pull. Okay, I found a piece - let's thread right here and you wan na make sure to just cut that. Okay and then it's a little easier after that little strings are gon na fall off. It'S gon na be a mess like. I can see that there's a piece of thread hanging up right here on this side. I can cut that little end off. So all I really need is a point, a holder, some scissors, if I have some smaller ones on use better. This is freaking hard and I wouldn't know like nails to just like get under it with you're. Like oh yeah. I can't grab it now. These nubbins are not working in my favor. Usually I don't what I'm doing is looking down into a mirror right here. Usually, I don't even use a mirror. I can just peel at it with my nail, but now I can't feel those threads as easily, and this is something you can I mean you can have your hairstylist do, but I just sent my house to do it now. I can't grab the strands is easy, so it is actually helpful. I'M gon na look in this mirror and and grab them and cut them. Okay, so I expressed to y'all that I have a terrible case of dandruff um. Whenever I have my like real hair, I don't have dandruff, because I'm washing it way more often I'm using like dandruff shampoos, but this has just not been washed. So there is some buildup of dandruff and we're gon na be very real, and I'm going to share with you and you're gon na see that, especially in my dark-colored hair, you gon na see a white line. It'S gross okay, like it's a lot of dandruff. I mean it doesn't make my hair stink or smell or feel dirty or anything it just. It looks nasty like whenever I'm undoing it. This is not something that you do on a first date and have someone join you in okay? So you see that now it's starting to like I'm starting able to like feel the strings. I just needed a little head start now. I can feel the shrooms and kind of pull them. You don't have to cut every single one. I can feel where they are now a little better. I like to take it out. The same way was put in so like just in Reverse, so I'm gon na cut all of the top, then the second layer, third layer, I'm kind of like that. So I kept it braided, so it kind of stayed in one chunk. I mean that's braided as it was y'all saw. So as I was doing it, it didn't all fall apart. You can see that they're still shrinks in there. I'M gon na pick all those out and wash it really really well and then just set it out to dry and it's gon na go back to its curl pattern and then I'll probably trim some of the ends off. I mean get keyonnah to trim some of the ends off so that it's a it looks a little healthier. I like to get it really long, so I can kind of cut it as it needs. So I'm gon na wash this really well. I'M gon na wash my hair really well. I only had this in for about two months, a little just a little over two months and you can see so even so, one don't be judgy about the Danube out to sea, but you can see that after two months, the amount of growth - and this is After I've been pulling at it, you know doing this for the past hour, so you can see the amount of new growth that I have because whenever I first do it remember to really really tight to my scalp. You would not see this, and so you can see this is all new growth and even with it they're having like an inch of new growth like this, even then it still was very tight on my head. It'S still really tight. Y'All saw in the last video that was taken a week ago that it still looks like a fresh sowing. That'S after two months, two months it still looked so nice on my head. I could have kept it longer, but really I just was kind of ready for my natural hair to come out for a little bit also. I know that the way that my schedule lies I like to have I'm gon na try to have a month of my natural hair and then so I know I'm gon na be in Louisiana next month. So I'll try to like time it in that way which doesn't matter but just though to say after two months I certainly could have left it longer. There was nothing wrong with it still. I was just personally ready for it to come out and you can say after two months it just didn't it just didn't, have a lot of new growth it wasn't loose at all. Y'All saw the net. Remember Kiana put that one for me, so I'm gon na cut that out, unbraid it and then I'll come back and show you what that looks like okay. So now I've taken out the it I took out the braids, and this is what it looks like this is my real hair before I wash it. This is what it looks like after being braided for two solid mutts and there's just a couple. Things like I want to tell y'all here, because the most common thing I hear when people say that they've had so ins before and they're, not really educated on it is that they say it makes their hair fall out that when they took their braids out, they Were they had so much hair that came out with it? So let me show you how much hair I had that came out. This is my hairball. After after I take the extensions out, it has all the like oil build-up. So after I take all the braids that I have to go and brush it, you know really well to get all of this hair out and people are like. Oh, my hair fell out. My hair fell out. I have had my hair braided for two solid months. The average person loses fifty to a hundred strands of hair a day so every day for two months that have lost hair that has just sat inside those braids, it's in those braids. It can't just fall out. Naturally, every single day when you brush your hair, a couple strands come out that you notice, but now I haven't brushed my hair in two months, so all of this had to come out at one time, so this is not from breakage. This is not. This is not breakage in my hair, this is just my hair's natural shedding, but just accumulating a lot all at once, so that when people say their hair came out, that's literally just all that is. But if you look at like the ends of my hair, I don't have any split ends, not one single split in that I can see this hair has split ends because I've been Flatiron it. You know. For two months it's been getting heat, it's been getting blow drying, but the rest of my hair has never received any of that treatment. So all this is extremely healthy and it's just been protected for for a long time. Another thing is that whenever keyonnah braids my hair to make it thicker, she uses fake hair. So this is braiding hair. So you can see it's got a different texture and stuff. This is not my hair. This comes out with the braids when, as soon as I take the braids out, this piece falls out with it. This is nothing I brush out of my hair, it just falls out and I've had people say. Oh these chunks of hair came out. This was not my. This is something she braids inside of my hair, so it makes my hair thicker so that she can sew it on. So if you feel like you've lost a ton of hair - or someone has told you that it makes you lose hair, never was my hair two months of shipping. So that's just a common like myth about sewing that I always hear on. Tell people have sew wins, and it's just not the case. I'M gon na show you right here a picture of my hair after my beary first so in that was about three months. I left that so men in and that was two years ago. So it's been two years: I've been doing sew ins and then you'll see what my hair looks like after that amount of time, with no other processes to my hair, so you'll see how healthy is actually made, my hair. So this is my hair after I've taken out my so in it was actually my first time using a diffuser today, but that's a whole different thing, but my hair feels really soft. It feels really healthy. Just8Ate: I love how your so real!! And don't worry im not judge-y at all. This was great video on hair!

bex: 1st. You are just like the prettiest human being ever. Had to get that out of the way. 2nd. I’ve never considered a sew in because I thought my hair wouldn’t be able to handle the braids for that long without breakage but it may be something I look into. It did look like a process to take out, but if you have patience it didn’t look crazy hard. Your natural hair is gorgeous! I love your curl pattern!! Have you tried the curly girl method? I just started doing that and it had helped my waves so so much!

Berger Home Services: Your natural hair looks great!

Jonathan Arrecis: OMG I get a janky braid from the gym too!

Autumn Villafranco: My hairdresser doesn’t put like a net in before she sew’s them in they are just sewn right into my hair. Anyways I got them taken out yesterday so I can color my regular hair and let my head rest for a little while and my hair feels so thin and I naturally had really thick hair. Is this just me freaking out lol?

brianna godeaux: What length and type of hair do you get?

Josh Berger: Looks like a long process.

Kiona Shalez: LOVEEEEE
