How To Revive/Refresh Your Curly Wig> Natural Hair Extensions

Hey curlfriends and welcome back. In today's video I'm going to show you guys how to revive an old curly wig.. I haven't done a video like this in a very long time. Guys, I've been switching around a lot of the products that I've been using on my hair extensions, just to see what works and what doesn't.. For the past couple of months, I've been trying out this Sexy Hair Luxurious Line.. This is their shampoo and conditioning line.. It was formulated especially for extensions and long hair., So I was definitely excited to try this out.. I must say it is one of my favorites. So far. This wig was just thrown around in my closet., It's winter time ya'll. So I decided to bring her out., I'm just shampooing the hair. With the Luxurious Shampoo from Sexy Hair., I wet the hair first, then I put shampoo on the hair itself as well as the cap. I like to wash the inside of my cap, because our natural hair has a lot of oils. Since we use a lot of products on our own natural hair., It kind've get's a little bit gunked up underneath the cap.. I just am a super germaphobe, so I like to wash the cap as well.. I just put the shampoo in the middle of the cap and scrub the two opposite sides together.. Then I rinse the hair completely.. Then I go ahead and use a very, very, very large amount of conditioner, because ya'll know. I love me some conditioner, It's curly, hair ya'll. Why not? I'M loading up a nice healthy amount of conditioner.? Then I go in with the paddle brush.. You don't want to start from the top of the wefts or the top of your wig.. You want to start from the ends and work your way up to the middle, all the way up to the wefts of the hair.. Then your hair will be super soft and silky just like butter.. This conditioner is A1 ya'll. If your hair is matted, I have another video on a really good, deep treatment that will get your curls back popping if it's 100 % human hair, like this hair, that I'm using today., This particular wig was not matted at all.. I just hadn't worn it in a long time.. It'S honestly been all over the place all over the house all over the floor, so I decided to go ahead and give it some TLC., I'm rinsing the hair.. I went ahead and conditioned it twice in this video. Then I rinsed the hair. I'm using a micro, fiber towel.. You guys can just use a regular t-shirt.. It'S the same thing just pat dry, the hair. I'll have the hair drip dry on our new product from Natural Boss Lady.. This is our hanging. Wig stand. Ya'll! I'M so excited for this wig stand.. I have been looking for something to dry, my wigs on without having to put it on the shower curtain. Rod.. It'S really convenient and easy to assemble., It's just 3 pieces and it comes with a care guide on how to put all together.. It'S pretty much made of a really durable plastic, which hangs from any rod.. I like to hang mine in the shower and throw my wig on time.. It allows my wig to dry evenly.. The entire cap gets dry instead of the hair taking forever to dry, because it's really thick curly hair., I just let it drip dry and the next morning. This is what it looks. Like. I just pop that bad boy on my head, no product, nothing, extra. Ya'll, can see. My curls are popping., There's so much body.. I can lift my hair and get more volume to the curls., But they look pretty much brand spanking new. I really hope that you guys enjoyed this tutorial.
