How To: Ombre Curly Hair Featuring Ali Moda Peruvian Curly

Hey guys so, as promised in this video, I'm gon na show you guys exactly how I achieved this beautiful golden honey blonde yeah. I don't know what you call it, but I'm just absolutely in love with this color and for the first time I'm actually going to show you guys how I bleached her hair. What products I use to achieve this color and yeah. I'M super excited because I have never recorded this process before and I've gotten asked so many times when I bleached hair, if I can show it and I finally decided to record it. So I have all the hair laid out here and I have an 80 inch closure. 20. 22, 24 and 26 inch bundles right here. I'M just showing you the closure, so let's go ahead and get started. What you'll need so first you're going to start with the prism lights, and I have three packs of that next you're going to need the Clairol developer in volume 30. Also you're going to need your Wella toners, and I have that in T 18 and T 11 you're also going to need gloves and a brush and I'm using the Vidal Sassoon shampoo and conditioner we're just going to go ahead and open my brush, and this one Has a combs on the other end, so I'm going to go ahead and use my mixing bowl and pour these ingredients into the bowl and I'm using the one. That'S going to use the pool, cue, the cool tones in the hair and I'm using three heads and basically, what you're going to do is you're going to make double parts of developer to the powder and I'm just going to eyeball it here, I'm not actually measuring It but I'm gon na eyeball it, and until I get the consistency that I want, you don't want it too runny, but you don't want it super stiff either. I'M just gon na go ahead and mix that up until I get it to a smooth consistency. All right here you see me adding just a little bit more now, I'm going to use my aluminum foil and I'm using this as a protective barrier, because I don't want to get 8 on my countertop and I'm gon na start with my longest bundle, which is My 26 inch I'm gon na, spread that out and begin applying the mixture evenly to the bottom of the hair and I'm gon na slowly work my way up and you want to make sure you get in there really really good, because curly hair is gon na. Be a lot thicker and a little bit more difficult to apply this to, and I'm just using my comb here on the other end to comb it through making sure I get it all over the hair, okay. So, basically right here, I have bought it up. Just a little bit higher on the hair and I'm just mixing it in making sure that I've covered all of the hair because you don't want any hair to be. You know miss. Now. It'S been on the hair for about five minutes here and I'm working in now. Here is the finished product, and this is on three of the bundles. I have the other two other bundle in the closure still dying. Now I'm going to make my well a toner and you make two parts: developer 30 volume developer per each container of the wilai toner. So basically, what I'm gon na do this is I'm just gon na fill the bottle that it came in twice for each bottle. That I use and again I had that in T 18 and T 11, it's the lightest blonde and then lightest ash blonde. I'M gon na mix that all together, I'm really my aluminum foil down again and just one take each bundle and completely saturate the hair. In the toner - and you want to make sure you cover it completely - I'm going to leave this on for about 30 minutes each bundle for about 30 minutes until it gets to the color that I am looking for now. What color does it takes the brassiness out of the hair on? So you don't have that ugly, yellowish, brassy, look so you're here now here, I'm just going to go ahead and rinse my hair and I'm using the shimmer light shampoo, and this is another step that helps take, that brassiness out of the hair and I'm washing each Bundle and I'm sitting it over to the sides to dry and fish. Look you guys. I am so excited with the outcome of this dyeing process so glad I decide to record it for you guys, yeah.
