Oh good morning, so I wanted to pop on and share with you guys how I wear my natural beaded rows for working out. This is a big question that I get a lot of people want to know. Can you wear your hair up? Can you live an active lifestyle with traditional hair extensions? It'S always been kind of a struggle to hide the bonds or the tapes or, however, it's touched, but with natural needed Rose because there are minimal points of attachment and because it is so seamless and lays flat against your head, you are able to live an active Lifestyle they stay henan, it's really amazing, so I wanted to share with you my tips and tricks for working out with the natural beaded rose. Okay, so first thing: first, you just want to make sure that you brush your hair, so I have another video that goes over the proper way to brush your natural needed Road hair extensions. So if you want to refer back to that video, you can go back on my page and check out how I brush my natural leader Rose. So now that it's brushed out. One thing I want to go over as far as working out with natural beaded rose, the number one rule when wearing hair extensions is to be gentle. They are a foreign object. That'S attached to your head, it's attached to your body, so you want to be mindful of that and just make sure that you're gentle no pulling no spirit hugging. So because of that rule, I have made this tip part of my home care sheet. Everyone has different opinions and that's totally cool, I would say, follow whatever your hairstylist recommends for you, but for me and my hair texture and all of my guests that come in this is how I tell them to care for their natural beaded rows, while working out Now I have a very fine, fragile hair. It could snap and break just from brushing it too roughly so because of this wearing all of my hair up in a high ponytail I'll do a demo. So you can see it's very easy to wear your hair pulled back with not something in rows and you can do a big massive top knot, but this is a lot of hair. My hair is really fine and fragile, so I don't know if you guys are like me when I'm in the gym I'm dead in it. So I'm like doing burpees, I'm running I'm doing cardio. There'S box jumps like it gets intense. I workout intensely. So if you are an intense work worker outer, but if you workout intensely like myself and you have fine hair fragile hair, I always recommend keeping your hair and natural fall while working out. So what's natural fall. Natural fall is the direction of the way that your parent rose, so that will be downward and our hair for is down. So this is natural Falls. So whenever I'm working out, I always recommend doing either a low ponytail can pull it back like this. If that ponytail bothers you, you can tie it up into a little button like this or you can do pigtails, because with natural beaded rows you can actually split it down the center back and you can put it in pigtails here. Also with your ponytail back here. You can just braid it, so I'm gon na demo a couple of them and then my favorite go-to is the boxer braids, where I'll do two French braid down the side? That'S like my go-to. If I have like an extra 10 15 minutes in the morning I'll go to that a lot of people don't know how to braid. So I will make a separate video on how to braid your hair extensions, but this one I'm keeping it all about the healthy way to wear your hair when working out to reduce tension and any pulling, which will also reduce the risk of breakage when wearing your Hair, so these are the hair ties of that. I recommend for natural beaded rows. They are a bubble, it's plastic. It looks like in a middle-school telephone cord. They are really gentle, but they also are very secure. So I'm gon na wrap it around. The really cool thing is, is if you heat them up, they get shirts right back to their original size. So this is my first go-to style for working out. It'S just a low ponytail. It'S really quick, easy simple! It keeps it out of your way everything is in natural flops. So this way, when I'm running or doing any intense cardio, as I was doing, burpees I'm bouncing all around, I don't have a really massive ponytail and top knot like you saw before when I was demoing it its massive and when it you get sweaty and you're. Jumping all around it's bouncing all around, even when I use two of these. It just isn't secure enough for how intense that I workout and a lot of my guests workout intensely quite like myself, so just to reduce any kind of tension or pulling from the bouncing of the massive top, not with a massive ponytail. This is why I say natural fall, so this is a good one. You can also get in there and just start braiding it. So just take three sections and you literally take criss cross back and forth from the outside section back and forth. Just like that, that's how you braid so then you can take a little rubber bands, just a black rubber band, and you can secure that in so then you don't have loose hair, it's all secure back there. You can take bobby pins and just bobby pin. If you have friends, you can pull it straight back and bobby. Pin it into place, you can also, if you want to do the side, just bobby, pin it into place my favourite it might go to. I love a hat this New York, Yankees hat. It'S been everything it's my workout hats. So whenever I have this hat on, you know what time it is it's time to workout. So I also like to wear the hat because I feel like it keeps my rows really secure like everything it's flat against my head. It'S super secure, there's no pulling or tugging. So if my hair happens to get like caught and a weight or something this is still really secure. Um I can Burpee again I can do any vigorous, cardio and there's no pulling or tension on my attachments because I have very fragile hair. I have to be extra mindful of that. So that's how I came up with this routine, so natural fall. You can do a ponytail do a braid. You can also do two boxer braids. It takes a little bit more time and you have to know how to braid, but I'm going to demo one side, so you can say how I do it and really any kind of braid. If there's another braid that you want to do, it could be just a single French braid. It doesn't have to be a double boxer. Braids like what I'm about to do. It could be a fishtail braid, whatever kind of braid that you want to do. Braids just keep your hair in a downward motion and that's what we're shooting for the reason I like the boxer braids is because you can see my back and my bangs and it captures my bangs. So I don't have to bobby pin them and it keeps them out of the way so again with braiding you're, just rotating from the left side going into the center to taking the right side in the center. Now I'm going to go back to the left side, I'm gon na put that in the center now back to the left side, and it's just literally repeating the same pattern back and forth back and forth I brush once I go to keep all the tangles out And every time I pick up my new section, I add a little bit of hair to it and that's what makes it a French braid is that you're, just adding and picking up some extra hair to add to the section as you move through. So you can see it doesn't take very long, but if you're like me, sometimes you're just in a rush in the morning - and you don't have the extra 10 minutes to bring your hair and then with this one. I don't like to use the big bobble hair tie. I only use the big bubble. Hair tie what I'm doing a full 20 detail with this guy. You can see my ends, taper for a more natural finish. It'S smaller, I don't mean a big aggressive like this. Is aggressive for how tiny messes, so I got it's my little black rubber band and tied it in and then there you go. So I would just braid the other side. What the hell I'll just go ahead and do it because I'm literally I'm really about to go to the gym. So I guess I'm wearing my hair in braids to the gym today. But yes, so the reason you don't want to wear your hair up in a ponytail is because of the intense cardio and the tension that it could put on your natural hair. When you are in the middle of your fitness and you are bouncing all around and you have that heavy you know, I have three rows of extensions so anywhere from two to three rows. It'S a lot of hair that we've added to your head and, depending on how your natural texture is, some hair texture can handle the extra tension and the bouncing and the weight of that ponytail and fun moving around as you work out, but my hair again, it's Very fragile, this is something that I educate my salon guests on. This is not like the typical maintenance that most hair stylist recommend for for their natural Vita room care sheet. It'S just something that I came up with, because I'm very fine, fragile hair. Some very mindful of the tension with or without extensions, even when I wasn't wearing extensions. I was very mindful of how I brush my hair and how much Lightner I put on it and everything that I put through or put on my hair, because it is so fragile. So if you have fragile hair like me, definitely do not work out in high ponytail or a top knot. I always say if you're doing something: gentle like gentle yoga, hot yoga, sometimes Pilates depending on what type of Pilates it is. There is some cardio based Pilates that gets pretty intense, but there is more gentle or basic Pilates. You can definitely wearing your hair in a high ponytail or a topknot, because there's not a lot of tension, not a lot of cardio where you're bouncing around and your hair is going to be moving around. But if you are going to be doing it anything that's cardio base for your bouncing around. It'S really intense. I definitely recommend keeping a pair and natural fall, which is just a downward direction, the direction that your hair naturally grows. So hopefully I've. Given you some good tips and tricks on how to work out with your hair, with your natural beaded rows again, I am sporting three rows of 18 inches and we are I like to wear.
