You guys welcome back to my channel today is going to be a quick tutorial on how I do a pronto or quickly. This is just going to show you guys how I do the mode for short hair. I will have a video up after this one to show you the actual process on how to do a quick weave, but this video is just showing you how I do the molding for it. So first, what I like to do is take a little section. That'S going to be my leave out and that's what that square at the top of my head, I'm trying to go for a side part now, as for my size, I'm leaving out about an inch of hair just so that that hair can cover up the tracks. I'M not leaving anything out in the back or anything like that now I just want to say this. I got this message from mad about Nietzsche here on YouTube and I absolutely love her channel she's so inspiring. She is a stylist and she just shares a lot of tricks and tips, and I really do appreciate that. So I did get this technique from her. I was just so and all when I saw the video and I just said I have to try it out myself, so this is inspired by met about me chi here on youtube. I just want to put that out there now back to the tutorial. What I'm doing right now is taking jail. This is the old school black jail and I say black because it really is black yeah, I'm taking the black jail, and this is a really strong holding jail and I'm taking sections I'm partying, then I'm saturating. All of my hair with this jail, I'm going in between parts and saturating, my hair, so that I can have a nice smooth yet strong hold now, because my hair is short, it's really easy for me to do this mold, because I don't have to worry about Putting my hair in a ponytail or anything like that, so it's really easy for me to achieve this mold, mainly because my hair is short, so this is really aimed for people who may have, like short to medium length if your hair was a little bit longer Than mine, where it could reach a pointy tail, I will just mold it all the way back into a ponytail and then just pull the remainder of the ponytail up and then lay it flat. Oh now that the hair is completely covered with the gel, I'm just going to go back again and make sure that everything is nice and smooth, I'm taking an all-purpose comb and I'm just combing it back making sure that it's completely smooth and really flat. That'S what you want to do when you do these quick weaves is have a really nice strong flat foundation after everything is nice and smooth. This is pretty much what the back of my hair looks like excuse that big glob of gel behind my ear yuck. I could not see the back of my head, so here's where the fun part begins. Like I said this was inspired by a man about Michi. She did use these cynic strips. These are like the rap strips or next strips that you use in a salon. So, rather using like a GPS solution, you know the growth protect solution of your hair to harden it, and all that I find these are way easier. You just apply it to the head. These Sendak strips are basically going to stop the glue from sticking to your actual hair. Now doing this step may be a little difficult if you're doing it on your own. Like me, I couldn't see the back of my head, so I'm just kind of cutting and measuring measuring and cut just so that I can really cover most of my hair, although I didn't cover it all, but I think I did an 8 ok job. So I like this step and again more gel, so now we're just going to add more gel because it's going to help keep the strips onto your head. So this is a lot of gel you guys. So if you don't like gel, then you might not want to do this, but I found that this technique is way better than using the growth protect solution. I actually use that a long time ago and I did not like the ending result. So I, like these wrap strips, add more gel and then after you do that we're going to add the stocking cap on top and after the stocking cap. Let me say this before: we go any further, be sure when you add the stocking cap to leave a little bit of your hair out. So do not put the cap directly on the scalp area. Push it back a little bit more so that you can have something to adhere to. You can have the tracks adhere to the cap and your actual hair. So it will stick so you can see I'm pushing it back a little bit because you want to make sure that you have that spacing again more gel. I know it's going to make sense you guys when you actually follow it completely through now going back a little bit, I did add some foamy wrap to my hair to keep my hair nice and flat, and straight and smooth after I sit under the dryer. Now I know this looks really gross, but it is the best way I promise this is pretty much it after. It'S completely molded. I feel like I'm so great because well they damn heat. I was in a dryer like almost two hours like way. Take your shears. You can just cut away this opening. Now, that's pretty much it you guys cut away the excess cap and you'll be ready for the actual pronto, quick weave, so stay tuned for the next video. I will be showing you how I actually install the hair, and I hope you guys found this video helpful and I will see you guys in the next video bye.

God’s chosen vessel: I mold mine the exact same way. The gel helps as a barrier to the glue. I also use growth protect solution also. The take down is easy as washing your hair.

Nae Mitchell: Nice video!!! Thank you for sharing. You're always going to have people that are super negative. They always feel like they know it ALL. If a person doesn't like this method, they simply do not have to do it !! To each her own!!!

adri: Yep I love madaboutmeechy I've always done my quick weave that way except for the wraps. Also to minimize the amount of gel use wet your hair with water then slick it. It lays flatter and u save gel.

flanmaryj: Thanks for doing this video. I saw Meechie's video and I'm considering using this method. Except I think I need some tea tree and coconut oil or something to lightly coat my dry scalp. Thanks for showing how to do this on short hair. It looks so simple on the linger hair of her models. But, on your hair, I see that mine is doable. Not too much gel, cuz I hate glue on my hair.

PRITTIBABESHUSTLE: Yesssss!! I love Madaboutmeechie channel too! She is an awesome stylist and I'm glad she shares tips with the public, because some beauticians are stingy lol

Chasing Birdy: My cousin put me on to this method like 10 years ago, we also use pump it up after you put on the strips. I dislike going to people who don't use this method, it is so less damaging.

Nicola Evette: I saw her do this method and loved it!!

terricaaa turnerrr: Girl I had to come back to this video, I'm tryna do my own quick weave lol

Erica Bonnee': Thanks for sharing. I'll definitely try this for my next quick weave. I have been using the GPS.

Tricia M: Very informative as usual:)

Kennedy Graham: How long does the molding last for ?

Mi Michelle: I just have a problem with itching under cap once I mold it's definitely the chemicals I use to mold. I will try and let it dry real good and see if that works

Turnns: All that gel makes the scalp itch something fierce

Mi Michelle: I feel this is a good method I hate just putting gel in my short hair and when I put cap glue still get on back of head at bottom and it hurt cause still king is stuck on my hair edges I am definitely going to do your method

Ms MacMama: Yes I agree that's too much gel and that causes breakage. Placing wraps on top doesn't save your hair ( that one layer). But thx for the video tip

Neisha T: You Can Also Use End Papers

Maize: what is the difference between doing this quick weave and just clipping it onto your hair? side note I have collar bone length hair but its really thin and brittle bcuz I've recently moved to the Mojave desert.

Teana: this was really helpful

Damyra Belcher: Okay I'm ready for the 2nd video I'm thinking about doing this like next week lol

Tendai Sigauque: What do u use for molding?

Tori&Jay: Your skin omg you are gorgeous

the recessionista: alot of ppl are cornrowing their hair underneath weaves now.....thats got to be ready damaging, untangling those braids with the glue on top...i still do the old school mold

gods beauty on earth: smh all u have to do is buy the moldin solution it drys in 5 min with the blowdryer then u add the weave to wash it out ur weave use warm water

HairDeLaCreme: Love mad about meechie's channel as well. Great video

dmotley1968: Do you have a clip for a short quick weave like a pixie cut?

Sincerely Jalessia B: You Molded Your Hair to The t Girl , I love meechie channel

ILoveTiffany Accessories: Yeah never use gel... Morning Glory is where is at these days

gods beauty on earth: to much gell isnt good the moldin solution protect the glue and its a gard shield when it drys even have oils to mositure ur hair while the weave is in

Jamesha Pritchard: How long did your hair stay up

ladynefertitibk: Thanks for sharing.

Cassandra Johnson: if you do this method you will want to scratch your scalp off

Moonlight Dragon: Pro style gel does not work on my hair for some reason

Jenniffer Paniagua: @algeretta  the problem with doing it with your hair wet is that it will stunt your growth and you can produce fungus.

Maria Dailey: Can do this on relax hair.

Erica Paulk: If u use regular black gel TRUST ME YOU WILL BE BALD HEAD. YOU HAVE TO WEAVE GEL PROTECTOR. SMH

La'Mika M Smith: to much gel

Ashanti Jones: O my looks like to much

Sassy Moi: Why can't you just braid the hair? Is it because u don't know how to braid? Seems like wwaayyyyyy too much work. Great idea for someone who's almost bald tho.

Rachel Isaac: That is so damaging to the hair

That's Me!: I bet that smells horrible after day 2!!!

Lala Foreal: If you want your hair to grow you have got to stop putting weave in your hair at least wear wigs. My hair was thinning and I stop weaves and went natural now I'm bra strap length.

heykatlin: too extra and its not quick at all

Chetta Myrick: no no no lol
