I guess i really don't know what christmas is all about. Okay, so today is a wash day um. It is the first wash day since i've had my extensions in as you can see, so i'm going to go ahead and separate my hair from the extensions okay. So after that, i'm just going to detangle my extensions. This is how i do it. I clip these two away and then i take this applicator bottle and i put rinse it out. First, i don't know what was in there before. So, if any residue of anything else in there, i want to make sure it's out for my scalp and my hair underneath the extensions i am going to be using the canyon more shampoo, but to make sure i can get it down to my root and it Not like stay there like it cleanses and washes out i'm going to dilute it. So i put about that much in there and then i put some warm water in it. So like that, you see that and then shake it up. I don't know about you guys, but i'm not really concerned about the length of my hair, like the hair, that's braided, because water is going to hit that first regardless. So that's going to get like if there's anything on there, that's going to get cleansed but to really get down to my root. I need a nozzle for my extensions, i'm going to be using the olive oil shampoo for the conditioning of my extensions, i'm going to be using the aussie moist and for my leave out i'm going to be using kenya more shampoo. Just you know the regular way get up in there and then to condition my real hair. I am going to be using the wella, i'm not using a lot of products, i'm just using different items in different areas of my hair. So, let's get started starting in the back section where my braided, hair and extensions are i'm just going to do a quick cleansing. Rinse, starting with my first shampoo, i'm just going to go ahead and take my nozzle and go in different areas of my scalp to really get the shampoo down to my scalp. So i can massage my scalp as best as possible to break up the. I started to notice that the shampoo was a little too diluted for my liking, so i had to stop for a moment, so i added some more shampoo because i didn't feel like i was getting enough in there. It was too diluted. Oh yes, all right! So once i have the diluted shampoo, all over the back half of my scalp, i'm just going to take my little head, scratcher, massage thingy. I don't know what you call these things, but anyway, i'm going to take that and massage my scalp as best as possible to break up the dirt and up under my sew-in and while that's still in there i'll then go in with this. So pretty much. What i was trying to explain is, while my diluted, kenya, more shampoo, is there at the scalp i'm going to go ahead and use my olive oil cleansing shampoo to go ahead and cleanse my extension. So if there's any additional studs that need to get down to my braids, it can, and it will that's why. So basically, what i was saying is: i'm just going to repeat what i just did a second time to ensure that my scalp and my hair is cleansed. So all of the shampoo is out of my extensions. So now i'm just going to go in with my aussie moist, so the aussie moist is mainly for my extensions only, but i do press it down to my braids. I'M not really concerned with rinsing that completely out. If it doesn't come out. It'S just added moisture for my braided hair, underneath moving on to the front section of my hair. I do shampoo this as usual, so i'm starting out with a cleansing rinse and then i move on to my first shampoo with the canyon, more shampoo, and i do that a second time once i rinse i get out of the shower and i deep condition my Hair, okay, so after that, i'm just going to put my well all over my hair. You all know i like to get in the in between, so it's so easy for your edges to break like the exposed parts. So i want to make sure i condition that as well, i'm left with two little balls all right. So now i'm just going to sit under the hooded dryer for 30 minutes. So to tell you the truth, i don't even know if it's been 30 minutes. I just know it's like 11 o'clock and i got to get moving because i have to be at logan school about 2 30. I have to be on the lot to get her. I need to be able to sit and dry my hair before i go out because it's been snowing here in baltimore. I think it snowed up the east coast, though, if i'm not mistaken, i don't really watch the news like that as much you guys, because it's just so negative. I watch it to stay in form, but i don't watch it to really take anything in because it could really drag you down, but anyway, that's not the point. The point is, i need to go ahead and wash this out. I think i've been under the dryer for maybe 20 minutes because i had to eat some more. You know i had some leftover breakfast and that is the best like when you can just go back to your plate girl. My mouth is watering, but anyway i'm gon na go ahead and rinse this out, and then i'm gon na sit under the dryer to dry my hair, i always rinse my conditioner out in the order that it was put in. So i start out in the back rinsing my conditioner out and then i'll move on to my leave out and i try and keep that separated until i'm ready to style my hair, my hair is done, i'm going to go ahead and bathe myself, you know see The opportunity of already being in the shower and i'll be back okay. Here, i'm trying to dry the braids and the extensions as much as possible, pull the excess water out, and then i'm just going to separate my hair right where the bulk is. If you can see there is a bigger gap in between the extensions that was done on purpose. So when i go to blow dry my hair, i can get straight to the bulk of my hair and then i'm also showing you here that i'm covering my leave out with my extensions. So when i'm sitting under the hooded dryer, my hair does not dry out. I haven't put any leave-in conditioner in as of yet so i don't want that to dry out and it normally takes maybe three hours right now. It'S 20 minutes to 12, so i might have to put a hat on to go, get logan because again i have to get her by 2 30.. I don't think my hair is going to be dry by 2 30., but hopefully we'll see we'll see. Okay, you guys so i've been under the dryer for maybe an hour. It'S like one o'clock. Now i listen. I'Ve sat there long enough. I can't sit there, no more um, so i'm just gon na kick this into high gear. I'M sorry! I i can't. I can't move around in a dirty bathroom. I just can't i had to straighten up a little bit, i'm going to turn my blow dryer to warm air and high heat instead of hot, because i need to have it sit on a braid for a minute. So all right, so once i felt like the bulkiest part of my braids were dry, i went ahead and started to blow dry. My extensions i blow dry. It the same way. I would my natural hair, if you haven't seen that video definitely go check that out. I'M like rushing now, you guys basically, so i keep my hair separated until it's dry. So all right, so i just repeated those same blow dry steps on the next section of my hair, just making sure the braids underneath were pretty dry once they were. I went ahead and blew the extensions dry as well. Then i moved on to my leave out for my leave out. I am going to be applying my leave-in conditioners per usual and i also use my tresemme heat protectant. For some reason. The camera stopped when i started using the tresemme, but i did use a heat protectant. So i set my blow dryer to warm air high heat and, if you take notice on the sides of my hair, i'm not using my brush, i'm just using my hand to stretch out my new growth for the very top section of my hair. I split that into half and i do use my paddle brush for these areas. Once i've completed blow drying the top of my hair. I do then section off my hair in the front to cover the extensions i actually love when my hair is like this, because it's full it's thick, it's bouncy and it blends so well, um, it's 1 37. I have an hour so i'm gon na eat i'm gon na run out and get her with my hair. Looking like this and when i get home i'm going to straighten it so yeah. I think it's cute. Someone did send me a message and wanted me to and wanted to know how many bundles i purchased. I only purchased two bundles. I wanted to do this side on camera, so y'all can see what i do. The iron is on 4. 10.. Okay, you don't see that so i actually just wanted to show you guys for the sides of my hair. I use my nails to part my hair part, the section that i'm going to use and then i use my nails to kind of you know detangle it as i go and i only go through it with one pass. I only do one pass with the heat and i move on to the next section. As for my extension half i do use my brush. I do take a thicker piece of hair that can fit into my flat iron and i straighten that going forward. So once it's all together, it'll look more blended. Do so i'm going to do this side off camera and i'll be back all right. Hopefully you guys can see me, so this is what it turned out to be all right. You guys this is my results. I hope you have enjoyed this video and until the next time below you,
