My 5 Year Old Got Extensions In Her Hair #Shorts #Hair #Motherdaughter

It'S no secret by now that my five-year-old wants colored hair and as her mom I've tried to help her achieve this look. We'Ve gone the temporary diary, the semi-permanent diet and we've even put Tinsel in her hair she's, still looking for a more opaque look. So when I found this, I added it to my card immediately to see how much joy this brings her literally warms mine. Grace first came to me about dyeing her hair at different colors. It'S definitely a little bit skeptical. So, instead of immediately saying no, I looked up Alternatives that were appropriate for her age. I personally thought that these clip-ins were perfect. They were seriously super easy to put in and we just cut them to the length of her hair. Now I didn't tell her that I was getting these, so I wasn't sure if she was gon na love them or not by the simple fact that she put like four or five in her hair. I think she likes them. We then went through and shared her whole hair so that the clip-ins and her hair could seamlessly. While I was shading her hair, she was telling me that she really wants to call my boyfriend to show him he's on a workshop right now in North Carolina, and she wants to pretend she's a mermaid. So here's that phone call it was so cute to see that he loved them too and Grace loves them so much. She asked me to clip them in every day before I think I got serious mom points.

My Heart Will Stop in Joy: I love how you let your daughter try new things while monitoring her and helping her. It's so meaningful! So many parents only say "no, you can't do this" and only prohibit stuff and their kids become rebellious and become addicted to doing prohibited things. Your daughter will always be transparent with you and I love what you guys have

Charlie: “THIS IS SO CUTE!” no you’re so cute

Figure: You are such a good mom!! And the results turned out so good!

Hannah Nolberto: My mom let me color a streak of my hair purple when I was younger and I still remember it. She's not gonna forget this

Trinity Van Donkelaar: I love when she said "this is so cute" also you should do another photo shoot with the new hair!!❤❤

Adaleah Arndt: This is so cute! Your 5 year old is SO well behaved compared to some 5 year olds that I have seen in the past.

yes.: She’s so cute!! Your a great mom

SeaRose: Soo cute Makes me want a daughter lol

Ariana: Grace is so adorable safe travels for your boyfriend!

Lily W: I’d recommend having a look at getting feed in braids too, it’s usually coloured hair that gets braided through with extensions. Usually last about 2 weeks to a month and is washing/swimming friendly.

Lucky 4leafedclover: Honestly the advice I can give you is don’t be afraid to let her dye her hair. I started dying my hair when I was 14 and my mom used it as a bonding experience to get appointments at the same time at the hair salon. (Granted she was never doing outgoing colors like me). In the end “permanent hair dye” isn’t exactly permanent. Hair grows out and the color will fade. If your still curious about semi permanent dyes I will recommend the brand arctic fox.

clair: this is such a healthy way to teach your daughter to express herself while also being age appropriate!! love this!

Bridy: “ArE yOu SeRiOuS rIgHt NoW!” I’m glad she caught on to the trend.

PostysBenzTruck: Aww This is so precious! I started dying my hair when I was 10, I also have naturally brown hair like your daughter. Definitely don’t recommend bleaching her hair until she’s older and understands the damages / risks from bleach. With naturally brown hair, a lot of colors don’t show up very well. For me burgundy, teal, and dark purple showers up quite well on my non bleached hair. I used colorista when I was 10. Do not use splat- the color will stay in your hair, my hair was purple for about 3 years despite the fact I had dyed over it so many times. The splat didn’t come out until I bleached my hair. Hopefully this helps, and I’m very glad you’re allowing your daughter to express herself :) much love ❤️

pai3ley: there is a thing called color clenditioner it’s a thing where you put it in your hair for 30 minutes to 1 hour and then it temporarily changes your hair it works super well! if you want it you can just search it up! but make sure to go into the “for brown hair” section because it will not dye your hair if your hair isn’t bright enough, they have purple to!!

Danny DeYeeto: awe i’m so happy for her, this is precious

mars: Imagine having parents this tolerant She’s so adorable tho

Katherine Hoyt: It looks amazing !! So pretty!!❤

EDDIEISMINE: SHE SO CUTEEEEEEEE<3

Princess_Icey: Try punky color hair dye! It shows up really well, and they come in many different colors, and isn’t too expensive, and best of all, washes off after a few days of scrubbing!

Natalie Cauchi: You could bleach the ends of her hair and dye those and just do it once a year or not often so she can have the colour with minimal damage because it won’t grow out like dying at the roots and can be cut off when “damaged” and she can still maintain healthy hair and have a minimal dye job for something suitable to her age

m1ssWatanab3: I wish I had a mum like that But my aunt still let's me dye my hair red -aunts r the best✨

Rylan Moon: I wish when I wanted my hair dyed at her age my HAIRSTYLIST of a mother would. Long story short as a teenager I used the thousands of dollars I saved up since being 5 and dyed my hair and got extensions. My mom was fine with it when it came to my own money

Me Me: That was really good solution! Well done Mum!

Nikita's Feels: Dying children's hair is appropriate in my opinion if the child really wants it. Of course temporary or washouts are better alternatives. But still... This comes from someone who started experimenting with hair dye at 13 when my mom bought her first bottle of pink hairdye. Tbh my mom's hair has always been dyed since she doesn't really like her natural colour. It's a dirty blonde, very ashy dark blonde. And lightens it blonde very light blonde. It kind of hides her white hair though. I instead died my hair in streaks pink and blue before lightening it and then doing a professional job and dieing my tips fully blue at 18 I believe. Now my hair is fully red at 21 because it's mostly white I guess due to genetics. And I usually use an intense red box dye.

Baby sister lover: Use the hair from Sheine it is good all you have to do is braid it in I just took mine out

Daniella Ayres: If you want to have it bright try lime crime unicorn hair dye and don't fully wash it out it is super easy and so bright and it is temporary it will be so bright

OPHYSLUVBEACH 🐚🥥: I’m literally so jealous

Steve Harrington: A hack that would look really cute and her hair is to braid it in with her hair

dd: How is vegan semi permanent hair dye like arctic Fox not appropriate for her age group? It’s just colored hair. If you’re willing to let her do her entire head in a purple wax you should let her do a single streak of Arctic Fox. It only lasts a couple weeks.
