My Hair Growth Journey | Falling Out & Damaged To Long And Thick

After losing my hair due to both mental and physical health issues years ago I made the stupid decision to put in hair extensions, in hopes to cover up my falling out hair. Years later I realized the extensions were making my hair even more damaged. Back in January I filmed me taking out my hair extensions and began my hair growth journey. Here is how I took my damaged falling out hair, to think long hair. The products, supplements, food and more. Thank you everyone for being on thie journey with me :)

About seven years ago, after battling certain physical and mental health conditions that resulted in me losing my once luscious long blonde hair, i made the bad bad decision to get hair extensions, even though they were fun at the time, and i had really thick lovely long blonde Hair, i started to notice, after about five years, that my actual hair, underneath it was getting damaged and actually becoming worse than before, the extensions i knew i could no longer rely on that band-aid solution anymore, so i decided to flashback seven months ago. You guys saw the video get my hair extensions out and here's what happened. Cue me going into hyper non-rational mode after going down the rabbit hole. That is google that convinced me. I had extension, traction alopecia. So what did i do? I visited a hair loss clinic. They used a microscope on my scalp uh, great news. I did not have that. I was definitely in this entire wormhole. That was convinced. My hair was damaged forever. So once i was reassured, i wasn't losing my hair. I laid off the 60 minutes a day of inverted head massages. I was doing these weird arctic fish blubber infused pills i was taking and all the other deep reddit threads that are last resorts for people losing their hair. That i convinced myself i was dealing with month. Two my rationality restored. I decided to start small and build from there. I gave up dry shampoo started using a decently reviewed salon, quality, shampoo and conditioner and started taking insane just basically about it, or it does have oils in that. So it's not the worst, but there's no really ingredients that help your hair and i'm just putting in my hair to sit there and saturate. As someone who literally has a fitness channel like so, if i can give up dry shampoo, you guys have no excuse. I literally just sweat for two hours a day, someone's gon na comment a bit kelty these people starving and you are upset about dry shampoo, and that is what we call gratitude month free. I actually started to finally see results, but i also knew i was avoiding the number one thing you have to do to see long-term results, and that is take one step back to take two steps forward and, yes, you must cut your hair to grow your hair. So my first haircut in 10 years, this is like the best my hair has ever looked. Even this is way better than extensions. Ah, every time day, one and if this challenge fails at least i just ate, overpriced gummies. For three months, i made sure my diet was in check ate lots of healthy fats, olive oil, i'm looking at you baby girl. I bought a big af water bottle to make sure i was drinking water, stop using my blow dryer and just committed to taking a more natural approach to this whole thing so month, six ish because it was kind of like five six seven somewhere in there. I switched from kerate's products only to all plex and oh, my god, the hype people i get it. Everyone was like he's awful okay, so i did um yeah retweet save a life. I don't know for the story, because i am obsessed with it month. Seven i got my hair highlighted for the first time in eight months. Oh, it looks so light. Oh my gosh trolls. I know you're going to come for me. They killed. You don't bleed your hair. Maybe i've never fully bleached. My hair, i just every once in a while get my roots. I light it a little bit which i go to the most amazing salon and they take care of my hair. So it's healthy and vibrant. Just just a little bit of highlight guys. It'S just a little bit, so you know what i'm happy and at this moment i could finally feel like my hair was getting back to that healthy love place. It used to be years before everything. I would have never had the courage to do that without your guys's support in the first video when i first posted it. I imagined that i was just gon na find some other hair extension solution that wasn't as damaging towards my hair or some kind of compromise, and then i'd go back to it, because i just couldn't bear the thought of having this damaged, hair and walking around and Putting it out on the internet - and you guys were so beyond supportive and knowing you guys were on this and hearing some of your stories that you guys wanted to grow your hair, and you had problems with hair extension really did give me the courage to just Be like no we're not going to hair extensions, we're going to do this a healthy, long-term approach to this. We interrupt our program to bring you this important message. Speaking of you guys supporting me, i have to pop in and interrupt this video for a little split. Second, and thank you guys for your support in something i get announced, if you guys noticed in 2020, i partnered with jim shark on a couple videos. It was just one off videos, and i i don't know how to say this - i'm here just to tell you guys. I'Ve signed on full time as a gym shark athlete, which is the first time i say that out loud and since day, one on youtube. I remember five or six years ago, watching nikki and whitney, and i look up to like natasha so much like all these gymshark athletes were such idols. When i was starting my fitness journey and now i'm i'm a gymshark athlete - and this is only because of you guys, literally a hundred percent only because of your support, thanks to your support, got my videos noticed by jim shark and they reached out, and i've got To work with them and they've been the most amazing brand to work with, and that is why i want to partner with them: it's not just about sponsor content or anything with them. It'S more about them. Wanting to create the vision of my channel and helping me out and stress i talked from the past - is one of the biggest issues with my hair and just how i can eliminate unneeded stress and whenever i partner with gymshark it was the first time i felt. I was a part of a team and i wasn't alone in making these youtube videos, so i just want to thank jim shark. I want to thank you guys. I will have my link down in the description, so if you ever want to get some gym shark stuff, you have my code to use. So hopefully i can hook you guys up with some discounts anything i'm wearing like, for example, the sports bra. The links will always be down below if you're interested, i love their stuff. I love the product and i'm just so excited to be by the gymshark team. So thank you guys. Thank you. Thank you, jim shark, and let's make some really fun videos together back to this whole hair thing, here's how it's grown over the last seven months. So here is my hair and oh, my gosh, i'm just so happy! You guys don't understand! Well, no! A lot of you understand: why am i being so selfish kelty, be better just every day. I can do this run my head and there's all these crappy extensions. I'M not scared. My hair is falling out my hair. This is just air dry, there's nothing to it. I'M naturally straight hair, so don't be like. Oh don't treat anything because i don't. This is just my hair how to air dry - and i just want to thank you guys. Your support allowed me to actually do this and want to do it from a place of health. Like you saw at the beginning, i was very irrational. It was just sad to see. Take any pill get anything injected. I was looking at hair transplant surgeries. Anything i was looking at all and then thanks to your guys's support and realizing so many of you guys are on this journey with me and i'm sure, being locked down, and my primer alone also helped, but i just decided to do this from a very wholesome. I just used good quality shampoo conditioner didn't blow dry, my hair stopped using dry shampoo ate my healthy fats. Did the odd hair mask, and here we are. I, of course, would like my hair to grow unusually a little bit longer, but it's growing at a healthy, normal rate about half an inch a month, and so here is a rat. I just wan na. Thank you guys. I know so many you guys are on your hair growth journey as well, and i i just really hope this video is a reminder for me reminder for you guys that you don't need all these crazy products. Necessarily it's just about treating your body good, eliminating stress, hydration eat your healthy fats, um and just be good to yourself, and our hair is a great representation, and i know people will come at this video and be like it's so superficial. But i hair is a funny thing, especially for us. Females have like long hair means girl. Now we're we're all past that we're in 2020. We know you can do what you want, but i mean there's there's always been that connection, so i think that's why it was so hard for me back in the beginning of the year when i took out my extensions um and i've just never been happier. I think my hair, that's the best thing. It just looks healthy and i never went back to extension again ever. Thank you guys for being on this journey with me. I will maybe do an update in like a year or something about it, but i'm not gon na do many updates throughout it. I actually started a second channel, my skin and hair care. I just because it was too diluted in this channel, and so you guys can go check that if you want, but i just want to thank you guys for supporting me. It was really not as scary as i thought it was going to be when i had freaking 250 000 of you guys that had my back through this. So thank you. Thank you. Thank you. If you're scared right now, okay in your hair, just just be good to yourself and your hair won't [ __ ] that have a great day love you all go pet dog bye. I always fell off my chair right there.

Jacie Kennedy: CONGRATS ON SIGNING TO BE A GYMSHARK ATHLETE ... also your hair looks amazing love it!!!

Amarie: I’m so happy someone is telling the truth about hair extensions and how they ruin your hair!

Sorry Förlåt mig: I can relate. I lost about half my hair in July 2019 around the time I was really worried about a friend taking their own life. It still hasn't returned to the way it was probably because I'm constantly stressed. Keltie has inspired me to take my own journey. Even if it doesn't come back, I'll know that I'm the healthiest I can be and that's alright. And to anyone going through something similar here's, I think, a Zachary Micheal quote: "Hair doesn't make you as a person. It doesn't break you as a person."

Merrin Francis: I’ve struggled with hair loss and understand the journey. Your hair is looking great! It is a reflection of your health and yours is looking awesome. Definitely on the right path! Congrats for putting in the work to take a step back to take a leap forward:) genuinely happy for you! I know when my hair is healthy I feel healthy.

Kim Cook: You inspired me to take out my hair extensions I had in for 2 years. Thank you for the inspiration. It’s so hard. If I never would’ve watched your journey I don’t think I would’ve been brave enough.

Angela Fleming: After experiencing extreme hair loss, I requested a scalp biopsy, blood work to check on hormone levels and a pap exam in an attempt to figure out what the reasoning for this was. My doctors confirmed extreme hair loss was from stress. I feared this response more than I feared the underlining issue for the hair loss was an illness, because at least hair loss from an illness came with medication, hair loss from stress required a whole life style change. My insecurity and fears from the hair loss took me to the same avenue your journey did, which was to consider extensions and expensive supplements, only to find out these were bandaid fixes. Like you, my hair growth journey will come down to making healthier life choices and taking care of myself. One thing that rattled me came from my dermatologist, who said, you could just cut your hair off and breathe and just stop worrying as hard as that may be. Because taking care of yourself, stopping excessive worrying reduces stress and that alone, will get your hair growing again. Thank you so much for being brave enough to share this on your platform.

Karli’s Kandid Life: I keep coming back to rewatch this and give myself hope. After having my hair bleached earlier this year and having it falling out, I’ve been debating extensions. Seeing this keeps me on track with just taking better care of my hair and hoping for my thick hair to return soon!

Heatherkc19: I remember making a comment and sending you a DM on instagram 7 months ago when you made that first hair video because I was going through the same thing! I had gotten off of the pill in September 2019 and by November 2019 my hair was shedding like crazy so I chopped it all off. Since then I've taken biotin, iron, and vitamin D everyday and what a difference! My hair does not shed AT ALL anymore and I swear it grows an inch every month!! I cannot believe how much your hair has grown!!! I can't wait to see what our hair will look like in a year from now :)

Taryn Roy: You look incredible and most importantly, healthy!

Dale Gonsalves: Hi Keltie I'm from Goa, India and I've seen your video where you remove you extensions, and from that day onwards I've been praying to God for your hair growth and your health. It's amazing to see such beautiful results in just seven months. I shall keep praying for you and I bless you with courage, strength and with all the positive thoughts for your health and well being in Jesus name. I love you. Never give up.

Tepolak Seth: I KNEW IT!!! I saw it coming! There was no way you would not have become one. AHHH I’M SO HAPPY FOR YOU, KELTIE!!!

lizzy Rodriguez: Wow I’m currently going through the same thing ! I lost my thick hair and now at 25 im quitting extensions I cried because my hair is so thin rn ! Thank u for making this video ive worn them since I was 15 but started wearing them everyday after my senior year . I’m amazed at how much thicker your hair is getting!! So happy for you can’t wait to see it in a year!

Klaudia Zawadzka: I am currently struggling with major hair loss. I have never thouhgt how difficult this experience might be. Thank you for sharing your journey ❤

Sam Elle: I am always paranoid that I’m losing my hair! I’ve come to learn that losing hair in the shower is normal but it’s still something I’m wary of!!!

SweetpeaAndPoppy: I’ve been going through a similar hair regrowth journey - those damn hormones!! Quick Olaplex No.3 tip.... although on the bottle it says to leave it on for minimum 10mins, you actually get the full benefits if you leave it on for 45-60mins! I apply it as normal and then cover my head in cling film/food wrap to keep the moisture in (Olaplex needs hair to be damp for it to work) and leave it on for an hour - and wow it makes such a difference to just leaving it on for 10mins!

Maria: Keltie, I think you are awesome for putting yourself out here with this kind of video, and I’m glad you are feeling a lot better. However, I want to tell you that you would look a lot better without the bleach blonde colour and with a bob or something similar and a side instead of middle part. I know being blonde feels part of who you are, but a darker more natural blond would be much better for you both look and health wise.

Michelle Lebo: Your hair looks great! If you want extensions that are non-damaging try the halo extensions! They don’t attach to the hair at all and are amazing quality. I use hidden crown and they are life changing!

The True Katherine: First: Congrats on GYMSHARK!!! I watch Whitney and Nikki also and I LOVE them! You are def on top of my list to watch whenever I get a notification about your videos. Second: GIRL!!! Your hair looks BOMB!! I am trying to grow my hair out also and I will DEF be looking into Olaplex. Did you see a difference with the gummies or is that really all hype?

Awesomeamazing156: I'm so happy for you Keltie!!! As a mixed female my hair is a big part of my culture and it took a while for me to learn to love my hair and to get to where I am with it now. I'm so so happy to see you so confidently happy nowwww yayyy

Kelsey Kane: GIRL THIS PERSONAL GROWTH IS SO AMAZING I’ve been with you since the start (you inspired me to apply to SMU- the program of my dreams) and all this success is so so deserved, you did this!!!!

Anna Fisher: Hey I know you might not see this but I’m in cosmetology school and I also am into health and fitness and work at a vitamin store, everything you’re doing is so great and I’m so happy and proud of you!!! I thought one thing I might suggest is taking collagen (10 g), hylaronic acid (100-150mg), and biotin(1000mcg) in their isolated forms instead of the gummies (the gummies are kind gimmicky and there’s a big disparity in correct dosage bc the gummies are actually sprayed w the vitamin coating so it varies and has diluted forms of the main ingredients you need) not hating at all though!! Everything is a personal choice for what works best for you. I just know that lack of collagen can be super beneficial to your hair and whole body, and buying all three of the isolated forms is cheaper than the gummies lol! You’re doing so great!! <3 :) also a good hair oil is a game changer fr

Liz S: I know this has been a struggle for you, and I’m so happy to see you happy! You look radiant, and your hair matches your bubbly personality! ❤️

Alina Mcleod: This was such a helpful video! I've had quite a bit of hair breakage lately and it really freaks me out. I know it's probably nothing too serious, but your video was encouraging and I'm going to try to Olaplex!

Tonia Adams: Keltie I really love to see how humble you are and how you give yourself a self- check/ reminder to be humble all the time ...... Ur spirit is one that's welcomed and appreciated on YouTube... congrats on signing on to be a gymshark athlete you deserve it and so much more.... also I love to see your progress with your hair..it looks great!!! You go girl I'm routing for u just continue to stay true to yourself and humble great job!

Leandra Bas: Congratulations Keltie!!! Way to go babe! So proud of you !! Gym Shark is so lucky to have you!!!

Mary Nguyen: I'm so happy for you girl! I noticed I was losing a lot of hair too and tried Biotin and all too, but I learned it was stress impairing my life! I eliminated a lot of stress and now I see tiny little baby hairs :)

kmandt88: bleaching your hair is one of the worst things you can do for its strength/health, particularly for fine haired folks

Barbora Ghanemová: I love you Keltie and wish you the best! So glad your hair grew back!

kromatic: Congrats, Keltie!!! So happy for you and your hair journey. Stay strong, darling.

Anna Polívková: I’m so happy for you Keltie!

Nancy Budd: I am so pleased for you Gymshark and the hair, really pleased the olaplex worked out for you too. Your hair looks fantastic xx

mariana corbellini: I am just soooo happy for you! I started the same journey this year after years with tape extensions and clip ins. It's such a good feeling to be confident with your own hair and its great to see youtubers who can relate to it! thanks so much for sharing :) lots of love

Sarah Paredes: You’re always beautiful and look like the picture of healthy balance!! Funny story: my 3 year old son has hair down to his butt, his hair is long and amazing, really amazing. I had long hair also but I chopped it above my shoulders to donate back in May, I came home from the salon and he grabbed my face with so much excitement and proclaimed “you look like a girl!” He was my sunshine as I’m not fond of my very short (for me) haircut. He loves my hair and may be ready for his own haircut one day.

Hannah: I saw your originally video and left a comment to encourage you to stay on this hair journey. Im so proud of you for sticking with it!! You're doing great, have regular trims. IMAGINE WHERE YOU COULD BE IN A YEAR!!

Alexandra M.: Hi! I suggest you deep condition once a week to add moisture to your hair. It may also help to do a protein mask occasionally too (especially after color treatment). Love to see your progress

Elina T: Good for you for getting rid of the extensions I always thought they looked like they broke peoples hair off. You made the right decision and you’re sporting your own healthy hair no longer falling off!

Another Unnecessary Channel: We love a girl who gets a sponsorship from Gymshark! Congrats Keltie!

Taylor Nicole: So proud of you! GET IT GIRL!

mayi ✨🍁: Can we take a moment and appreciate this beautiful lady?? Gosh Love the vibes keltie !! ❤

Sanna Andersson: Congratulations on this next step in your career! You deserved to be signed! Love your content and energy!

Trina Gallagher: My hair is definitely NOT superficial to me, nor many of us! It’s a part of who I am! And wow I’m proud of all the work you put into getting back the look & texture you love- all natural! Thanks for sharing your journey!

Ginie L: YES QUEEN !! So happy for you ! Your hair looks amazing and healthy !

MamaSwole: I could legit see me & Keltie being friends. She’s so chill & funny & jus seems genuine af

Charlie Smith: The sugar bear hair vitamins made my hair dry, try prenatal vitamins and folic acid great results less $$. Don’t worry about bleaching your hair the olaplex is designed to help restore the damage caused by bleach. I’ve noticed your hair has gotten thicker over this journey too, congrats on gymshark! We may have supported you, but you made the great content!

JayKnees: Ahhh!! So proud of you Keltie!

Victoria Hess: I love watching how positive you are in your videos! Congrats on the hair progress!!

Andreina Aviles: Hell yes I’m buying through your link girl! I want you to get that puppy soon so we can see it on your videos!! Congratulations!!!!! I absolutely love your energy and good vibes. You are a breath of fresh air and help stay motivated and happier during difficult times. I’ve been petting dogs all around Paris since I found your channel :) xx

Ray: Congrats! You’re so sweet & you deserve it!

Kathryn Wooldridge: Congrats. I'm happy for you. If you want your hair to look even thicker, consider growing your layers out so that your hair is just one length, but get your hairdresser to frame your face with your hair in the front.

Jelena Ost: Keltie, congratulations on your sponsorship! All the best and I'm glad to see you being so much happier about your hair!

Elva Ann: I'm so excited for you that you're a gym shark athlete!! Congratulations and I love that your hair is growing and is healthy ❤

Haley Johnston: Girl! I have been struggling too with hair loss and thinning. I had to make a lot of changes over the last 8 months as well. You’re doing great!! P.S. any new youtubers out there that want to support each other?

Green Semester: I love your energy. What was the first step to overcoming your mental health issues? Did working on your YouTube channel help?

Jordi K: Keltie, I am so happy for you! You are so pretty and I just love your positivity and willingness to do new things. It’s inspiring and brings sunshine to my day.

ashley guidroz: Keltie - I can relate to you hair issues. I had extensions too years ago and it really messed up my hair! My fine highlighted hair seems to constantly be breaking off and never growing. I recently started using Olaplex 3 and not sure it's helping. Has any of your subscribers had a bad experience with Olaplex? Could it make your hair break?

IrisCullen13: CONGRATULATIONS KELTIE! You are the most authentic Youtuber I know of, and you deserve all this success and so much more.

MIguel Delgado: Amazing youre seeing results! Its such a tough journey. I also experienced the exact situation where I had naturally long and full hair, and it became super short and thin that I wore extensions for 10+ years. I am just beginning my journey of stopping it. Overall, do you in general recommend the professional hair loss specialist treatments that you showed in the video at all? Or just skip that and go the natural route? Thanks : )

mendlering: I battled alopecia areata for 2 years. was 20 going on 21. it only recently grew back and the new hair as nowhere long as the others. but I say first hand how stressful it is for a girl to suffer from hair loss. I cried every other day and was so paranoid that I stopped letting my hair down. So congrats to Keltie! for getting your healthy hair back :)

greenknitter: You're still doing the most damaging thing you can do to your hair-applying bleach to it. All the other measures you're doing will mitigate the damage to some degree but won't prevent it. You'll have permanent wispy bits at the front and damaged ends. Just the nature of having long fine hair and applying bleach to it because it's being overlapped each time it's applied. I have hair like that too and know bleach is a no-no if you want healthy hair, no matter how good the hairdresser is or products you use. I think you'd really suit your own natural hair colour anyway. Fine thin bleached hair will always look damaged.

Sarah Mak: this video makes me so happy! you seem so happy and excited you're on a journey to healthy hair :)

Monica Lianna: definitely worth the struggles in the beginning because your hair looks so good now! also, that shade of yellow is so, so pretty on you!

Whitney: I’m so glad to see that this has been going well for you! I’ve been growing out my grays since March and having two totally different shades of hair right now is NOT my fave .

Christine .K: Congrats on Gym Shark!! And your hair, too!! And you were never alone on YouTube. We are always here for you!!

Stephanie Webb: I had to pause the video just to say, CONGRATULATIONS Gymshark is an incredible brand and love all the athletes!! Go Keltie!!

Nikki McQueen: Im so proud of you for being honest and telling us that you were considering getting extensions again. You could have easily left that info out of the video but your honesty continues to inspire me every day! <3

I ain't gonna reply to you: SO HAPPY for you becoming a Gym Shark athlete! You deserve this!! I haven't looked at their wear but definitely will now (with your code of course!)

Natalie Wixon: I’m so happy for you!

Sam Marvin: Oh my goodness! You’re a Gymshark athlete! I’m so happy for you! That’s so amazing!

shirosh809: it looks so good now keltie! so happy to see your hair healthy and long and not damaged AF also-CONGRATSSS ON GYM SHARK! OMGG!

Roselie Hernandez: Omg!!! Congratulations, You deserve it so much! Your hair is also looking sooooo good!

Faith Weibye: So so proud of you!! It takes courage to be vulnerable with feminine challenges, but you encourage me everyday. Keep being you, Keltie❤️

Jordan Trinagel: Congrats!!!! You do deserve everything that comes your way. Love you and ur channel. Thank you for all the videos :)

Viktoria Myja: CONGRATULATIONS OMG IM SO HAPPY FOR YOUUUUU!!!!

Christina Alvarez: I'm in the same boat with super thin(ing) hair, but I also work out a lot. What do you do when your hair is soaked in sweat after a work out? I usually blow dry and use dry shampoo, but am learning that's only causing damage. What should I do instead?

Lizz Hough: Literally crying because I'm so happy for you for getting the partnership ❤

Rosiie_Xo: I’m so so SOOO freaking happy for you, lovely!!! Gymshark first off! You deserve it! Also, your hair! You deserve that too! Uh! Girlfran!!! Yaaaayyy!!! Hope nothing, but the best for you! It’s only up from here!!! Go pet a dog! ✌❤️

Aiden Long: Well done Keltie! I love your channel, all the way from Perth, Australia x

Sandy Matosz: Keltie do not apologize for talking and caring about your hair. I'm here for it and think it's important. Hair is a sign of health so do it girl.

Dee Michelle Conway: Thank you so much for this , my hair has been damaged for awhile with using the wrong products , heat and coloring my hair and I was thinking of getting extensions soon . You completely changed my mind Keltie thank you ❤️

Kristina Ash: I found your channel from the video you did about taking out your extensions... and I feel in love with all of your content! I'm on a hair regrowth journey too (after years of stress & extension damage)... cutting off the dead ends was the scariest thing I ever did to my hair Trying to get used to how short it is now ❤

Kaitlyn Orth: Hi Keltie :) One of my favorite things to do is come to your channel and just absorb the positive, healthy, and inspiring vibes you are always radiating to everyone in your presence! I discovered your channel right before quarantine and it was (& still is) just so refreshing to have this little corner of positivity to look forward to each day. Passion for health and fitness has always come quite easily for me (I'm currently finishing up my last year in earning my Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology/Exercise Science) but one struggle I have had over the years is my relationship with food. I love that you have instilled this new way of thinking about food in my brain! And I quote "There is soul food & there is calorie dense foods that are rich in nutrients and all the good stuff for your body!" As a former Miss Mississippi United States 2017, I could share so many stories with you about my experiences (as well as experiences other women have shared with me) with food, being told what and what not to do, etc.. and I will say - sometimes it can take YEARS for the psychological damage to be reversed/rewired for some. Thank you for spreading love, awareness, kindness, and most importantly - HEALTHY - ways of life with the world! You have empowered me in so many ways! xoxo, Kait :)

Anahi Meza: This really shows that feeling good inside and taking good care of not only your physical, but mental health, reflects on the outside

Juliana Crisóstomo: Amazing results for so little time! Keep going

Makenzie Harless: BRO!! In 8th grade I had to cut all my hair off because of damage. I had clip ins that I’d put in every day. Then I decided to get the clamp in extensions- the worst decision ever. When I was a sophomore in high school I took them out and let my hair grow out since. I graduated in 2018 and my hair was actually kinda long. Now it’s almost down to my butt and it’s the healthiest it’s been. Can totally relate. Also- GREAT JOB!!! You deserve to be a gym shark athlete!!

Hayley Miracle: Yay gymshark!!! ❤️❤️❤️ I CANNOT waittt to see you in more gymshark and with the whole team! Love this video and your hair journey, I’m glad you’re doing so well because you were so nervous and emotional about taking out your extensions. I’m so proud ❤️ Go Keltie!!!

Sydney Rios: You can always dye your hair darker without the damage of bleaching it! Just an option to think about. I think you would look gorgeous with darker brown hair!

Jelea Kistenfeger: Congratulations girl. So pumped for you, woot woot. I’ll b using ur code.

Arantzazu Pozzi: Amaaaaazing news!! keltiee it’s really good news for you

Bananamoonice: Also lost so much hair. For me it was due to stress last year. I have really full hair but it got so noticeably thin around my hairline and crown. My boyfriend had a motor accident and my sister an emergency caesarean during her holiday around the same time june/july 2019. And resulted in major hair loss. there was clumps falling out every time I brushed or washed it. So I can relate. I have also been going the natural route since and thankfully my hair seems to be growing out again. Still have a lot of baby hair and it almost looks like I have a long fringe now. But so thankful it is growing back! And currently I have almost no shedding, I mean I will lose a few when washing but it is all very minimal. It is crazy what stress can do...

clipinqueen: Your hair looks fantastic - good job! I just wanted to note that I have been growing my hair WITH hair extensions for a few years now. It can be done, but it takes a lot of treatments and stuff between installs to see a difference. Thanks for being so brave.

Lauren: you are such an honest and hardworking influencer and a such kind soul! you deserve the gymshark affiliation so much!!! so proud of you (and ur hair looks amaaaazing)

Karen Nadherny: Congratulations on becoming a Gymshark Athlete! Did you only use the shampoo and conditioner or did you also do the treatment conditioner that you leave in?

Sav Stougard: Aww Keltie! You’re so so good! We are all so proud of you!

Natasha Moolman: O my gasssssh I’m so happy you became a gym shark athlete!!!❤️My heart is so happy for you, you deserve this❤️Your hair is looking

Bronwyn Coombs: Also went to Ikon the second restrictions allowed. They have magical stylists! Didn't really notice much between Keratase and Olaplex but maybe since I only used one product (no. 5) rather than the whole lineup? Ikon actually nudged me to Pureology over Olaplex :o Congrats on Gymshark! I'll miss your LLL hauls though!

Irene Dettori: In the last few months I have experienced a severe hair loss cause by all the stress I have been going through. I was (and I still am) heartbroken as I had always had this thick and beautiful black hair. Now I am following a pretty expensive and long cure, and sometimes I get so frustrated because the hair keep falling, and I can see how few I have compared to just 7-8 months ago. You have no idea how helpful these videos of yours have been for me. Now I know the journey can be long, but eventually I’ll get my hair back. Thank you for sharing your experience, this is really helpful for so many of us. Sending love from Italy ♥️

Marion Fiona: Congrats on both your hair growth and gymshark keltie!

A Better You: Honestly, your channel helps so much with my weight maintenance. I lost 70lbs recently and your channel helps my motivation to keep it off. It'd be amazing if you could pop by my channel as you've also inspired me to start youtube

Aly: Keltie, you are so beautiful and I appreciate you sharing your journey. I have hidden behind hair extensions for 3 years. Your video(s) have inspired me to slowly remove the use of clip in hair extensions from my hair care routine completely. I am someone who wears them every day and I truly want to transform my hair for the better. I understand that if I keep wearing them day in and day out, my hair will slowly suffer in years to come. Regardless of how well I manage them and take care of them. I feel so different without them, and like you, my extensions are a security blanket for me. They are a bandaid. With this in mind, I have decided to only wear hair extensions twice a week and wear my hair naturally for the following days when at work. (I never wear them at home. Only at work). I am starting small and working my way up. I am someone that will wear clip ins from Monday through Friday and take them out every single night, and start over again the following morning. I am truly over it, considering it does not benefit the hair in the end. I've invested in higher quality products for the last few months and can already tell a difference in how my natural hair feels. I can't wait to see my full results. <3

Erica Bn: i quit wearing extensions a year ago and only getting my hair highlighted twice a year and it really has made a HUGE difference.
