Hey guys welcome back to my channel sunny beauty here and i'm back with another video. So today i'm going to be doing a half up, half down style, i'm starting on freshly washed hair, and i'm just going in with my apogee leave-in conditioners. One is a pro vitamin leave-in and one is the green tea, reconstructurizer they're, not new to my channel. You guys have seen them before and i'm using my john frieda extra strength serum because i'm going to be blow drying my hair and applying a little bit of heat, so i'm just gon na go ahead and detangle i'm using my conair silver bird blow dryer. This is a new blow dryer for me and i absolutely love it um. I got this blow dryer because i saw tiara j using it and it looks like it works amazing for her hair. So i got it for myself as well, and i love it so now, i'm just kind of sectioning off my hair, seeing how high i want my ponytail and then i'm just going to clean up the part with my comb, i'm not the best at parting. My hair, to be honest, so don't come for me, but i tried my best and then i'm sectioning off a very thin amount of hair that will be covering the tracks, but you guys will see that later on. So this is my hair growth oil, guys, i'm launching this oil at the end of the month, specifically on the 27th, so stay tuned for that, and then i'm also going in with my shea butter with moisturizer love. The combination of these two. These two are literally. Why my hair even grows so quickly, so these are two staples in my regimen and i love using this, because whenever i do braids my hair stays moisturized throughout that whole time like when i take my braids down my hair feels like i just moisturized it. So these two are a must-have, so i'm just going to be bringing down that half section, because i am going to be doing a quick weave method. So it's going to be a real, easy, easy install and my braids aren't super neat, i'm just literally doing probably like five braids in my hair, no fuss like just just as long as you can get the hair down as flat as you can. So you don't have to be the best braider for this part, so once it's all done, i'm just going to take a little bit of thread and i'm just going to stitch the braids together and then i'm going in with a stocking cap. This is like just a regular stocking cap and i'm putting that over the hair. The hair that i'm going to be using is a premium purple pack, one pack of 18 and one pack of 16.. I pretty much used the full pack of 18 on the half down part um. I think i use like one or two tracks from the 16., so with this method, there's not too much glue. That is on my hair. To be honest, the takedown of this was like super easy. It was legit just ready to come off, so i didn't have to do much, but if you want to take it down, all you have to do is use some conditioner or some oil to loosen up the glue and it comes right off. So you don't have to worry about your hair getting damaged. My hair was zero percent damage throughout this process and especially because the cap acts as a barrier. If you don't want to use glue, you can sew the hair in. I was just trying to do this. Hair for the weekend, it actually lasted more than a weekend, but i just wanted something: real, quick, real, easy. Also, the method i'm using i'm warming up the track with a little bit of heat from the flat iron and a little bit of hairspray, and that makes it stick on really really easy. So once i'm done doing that, i'm going to use some scissors and cut off the excess cap, and that is my half down part. Okay. It was super easy. This part took me like literally no more than like 10 15 minutes and then i'm just taking down the hair, that's supposed to cover the tracks. I'M running a fly iron through it is on 450, but i'm doing it like real quickly. It doesn't look quick in the video, but i was doing it really really quick. That'S also why i use the extra strength john frieda serum, because i don't get any heat damage with this. There is a heatless method that you can use for a half a pack down style um, especially if you're natural. But to be honest, i don't think it looks super natural, so i prefer doing it like this and then i'm going in with some hicks edge control. I don't use gel or anything like that, because you know i don't. I can't use gel on my hair, so my hair is going to go right back to being wavy also. I know that i need to trim really badly. I actually trimmed my hair after this video, so i did a silk press and a trim. So if you guys want to see that video, it will be after this one. So once my hair is all slicked up, i'm just going to be braiding. My ponytail, you guys, can also use a little bit of reading here. If you need a little bit more length for your ponytail, i'm not using any glue on my actual ponytail, i'm just attaching a hairpin at the end and then you're gon na. Stick it downwards into your braid. I do my ponytails like this all the time like every single time and they do not fall out. Nothing happens. I actually got this method from a few youtubers. I don't want to put glue on my ponytail because that's hell to take out and then i also don't want to sew it in because this was such a temporary style, and i found that this is so so easy. So i'm just going to continue wrapping my hair around the braid and this process was so easy, so quick as well. So once i got to the top, all i did was wrap the last strand around so that it could kind of make it like a little bit more of a seamless ponytail, and that was all i had to do so easy right. I'M gon na stick a hairpin into that last little piece of hair there so that it doesn't go anywhere easy peasy, lemon squeezy. At this point i was only using got to be hairspray for my edges. Um i played myself. I went in afterwards with some edge control, but i was trying not to use edge control for some reason on my edges, but anyways, so i'm just running a flat iron through the hair. Just so that everything is seamless and blended, and then i decided afterwards. I want to put a little bit of waves in it, not too much waves, just like very slightly effortless, like kind of waves, hairstyle came out so cute. I haven't done this style since going natural um, but yeah here i am going back in with some actual edge control because my edges were not having it, i'm not the best at doing my edges either. So i needed that edge control, but yeah guys. This is pretty much a hairstyle if you guys enjoyed this video, please let me know down below if you have any suggestions on what i could do next time, leave the comments down below and yeah thanks for watching guys, bye,
