Foreign, hey, you guys welcome to my channel. So today, let's talk some hair in my favorite style, mini twist mini braids, whichever one you want to do, I'm going to be sharing with you guys, just a few tips for your um mini braids for your protective style and I'm also going to be using a New product from agile beauty that was sent to me, I'm gon na test that out really quickly and then just show you guys a really quick hair hack for your mini twist, just to kind of mix it up. If you want to so, let's just go ahead and get started all right, you guys. So I know you never really see me come on here with my Bonnet on I sleep with my Bonnet when I don't feel like sleeping with my silk pillowcase all the time. Every so often I do take a break from me because I feel like I don't get like enough sleep. I don't know it's like my head keeps slipping. I don't know you guys and honestly. This is probably the best Bonnet I have purchased. This is my absolute favorite, it is from tgin and - and I got it at Ulta - I think it was like five or ten dollars - something like that. You guys so I did my twist about a week and a half ago now, and this is how they are looking. I love this style, especially for my life right now, because I do work out now, four to five days a week and it's just an easy style. So this is how we're looking you guys it's pretty typical. This is typically how my hair looks when one I haven't, like always slept with my Bonnet. I'M gon na be honest with you guys. Sometimes it makes it on my head. Sometimes it doesn't. I do wear a hat a lot. I do wear headbands those kind of things I really need to lay off of it, I'm just addicted at this point, I always tell you guys, don't wear too many headbands and stuff and hats, and it's not like I do the same. So here are the products I'll be using today, so first off I have the can't show you the outside, but this is the okay. This was supposed to be in there. Y'All know what I'm trying to say. This is the new leave-in conditioner from agile Beauty. This is their melon Berry, Hair, Milk, it's a leave-in conditioner cream to spray. Oh, my gosh! I can't open it huh. Where are my scissors? This particular leave-in is definitely for fine hair. It says it right here: um this leave-in conditioner is formulated for fine hair, but can be used for all hair types. So that's a plus for all my fine hair girls out there, because we don't really have a lot, that's geared towards us in my opinion. So it's a silicone free, weightless, hair milk um that has melon raspberry strawberry seeds, which works to hydrate. The hair um improve shine, nourish dry scalp, provide voluminous definition softens without weighing the hair down detangles and reduces frizz and maintains hair moisture level. So sad story: I do not have a water bottle. You guys I do not have not one spray bottle for my hair, so we're just going straight in with this. If you do have um a mister, definitely missed your head and then after that, I'm going to just to redo a few of my perimeter right here. I'M not even going to do all of them just a few of them and then of course, maybe a few in the back as well. Using my knee braid conditioning gel that I have been obsessed with since I shared it with you guys, I'm gon na use a little bit of my gold well gel for my edges. I might do something a little extra on my edges and then I do have my address. Bailment shine oil blend for my scalp and the rest of my hair, so I'm gon na start doing my hair keep the volume on, because I cannot talk and do this at the same time, I'm just gon na get sidetracked. This video is gon na be super long, so I'm gon na do a voiceover right here. Give you guys some really good tips for your mini twist and then I'll come back in a bit. Once I have my hair, how I want it and let you guys know how I feel about this spray and then I'm going to show you that hair hack for your mini twist so y'all. I found a spray bottle, but let's get into the ends of your hair. Your hair should not look like this. These are just the middle of my head, where I put a lot of heat at a lot of flat ironing, and this is the rest of my hair. My ends. Look full they're still twisted up. They look nice and shiny still without adding any product. That'S how your twist should look to start off with, and this has been almost two weeks you guys so um also make sure you are using satin products. So I'm using my satin scrunchie to just pull my hair to the side, satin headbands, if you're using accessories. That'S tip number two after I lightly sprayed my hair with water, I'm going in with my new leave-in um you guys this smells so good. It is super lightweight and I'm doing this starting with just adding the product to the ends. This is tip number three. So get used to adding product directly to your ends, first and kind of work, your way backwards. I know we've always been taught from root to end start doing from ends to root and see how that affects your hair as far as length retention and just growth. Overall, if you do it from ends to root, you will definitely not be neglecting your um, your ends, which are the oldest part of your hair. So I'm going in with a little bit more of the leave-in spray per braid and then I'm just going to add a little bit of gel, because I don't need that much product um, because I'm going to end up getting buildup. Of course, if you have too much product in my small little braids and again you guys, if you don't know, I like to braid the base of my hair about an inch down no more than an inch and then I just split it up, and I just Twist the rest and add a little bit more gel and then move on to the next foreign. So as far as trying to keep your mini twists or braids in as long as possible and keeping them look as neat as possible, keeping your hair protected. One thing like I just said you can do, of course, is braid the base. It does help to keep the Twist from frizzing up so much at the root. Another thing that I do, I actually go as long as possible without adding too much moisture to my head so too much of a liquid because one, it just seems to give me a lot more well, it's not seams. It'S going to give me a lot more shrinkage and then, for some reason it just you know it just adds to the frizz a lot faster. So I try my best to hold off with washing and adding a whole bunch of liquid based products, even though you need it, you just have to do like minimum amount. Another thing that I don't do because my hair is really good with holding in moisture whenever it's in mini braids or mini twists. I really don't have to moisturize my hair that often I can go about every two to three days with adding a little bit of moisture. So here I was just showing you guys, a quick comparison of one side that was redid and then the other knot - and this is when everything that I'm going to redo today is done. My hair is moisturized um. All I'm going to do is just seal it with a little bit of oil and apply a little bit of oil to my scalp as well. Not too much give it a really light, massage nothing too deep, because I don't want to cause any extra frizz and then I'm going to lay my edges using a little bit of my knee braid gel and then using my blue legume gel. On top of that. To hold it in place, and then I'm just going to tie it down and then I'll get into that really quick hack to show you guys for your mini twist foreign y'all for this hack, I'm just gon na use some leftover twists that I have from this Summer and then some that I never used so I just went to my stash found what was already you know already twisted up and I'm just going to use what I got so one of the twists are a lot bigger than the other. Here'S just a comparison. I didn't have a smaller bundle, so I would have actually done two of the smaller ones, but today I'm just mixing it up and using what I got, because I'm not spending no extra money. So I'm just going to grab a hair tie. So just an elastic and I'm just gon na crochet, the hair on the elastic you guys. This is super easy. It took me about five minutes to do um use whatever you have in your stash. If you have loose hair, go ahead and grab that Loose Hair Crochet it through and then twist it up on the actual elastic. This is super easy. It took me no time to do and I used about two bundles of hair foreign. So this is how my ponytail looks um. I think I left out about two or three braids like bigger braids y'all, but it's all good um. Next, I'm just gon na pull my hair up, so you can either pull your hair down up whatever. However, you want to do it, and this is definitely for those who just want a little bit extra to their braids, who, if you're, not comfortable with wearing your hair down like your mini twist at this point um, you know if they're not long enough full enough. Whatever the case may be, maybe you got a date. You want a little something extra, I don't know, but this is a really quick hack. You guys, so I just put it on my head. Just put it on my little ponytail and I'm just wrapping the braids around and I'm going to use a few bobby pins to secure it on, even though it's nice and it's just nice and secured already, and then I'm good to go, you guys! Look how cute this fans look? How cute are you guys so finished? Look, I told you guys this would be super easy change up your style for the night if you want to with my added little twisty ponytail that I did, this style is definitely for many different reasons if you're not comfortable with just wearing your twist, if your Twists are a little bit shorter than my hair is, or you just don't want to wear your twist period. The way they actually are, and you still want to keep the style, keep your hair in a protective style. This gives you just some added little length added fullness. This is actually my first time doing this like style, you guys I've never done it before, but I absolutely love it and the twists in different sizes actually works. You guys with this bun. My little twists are at the top of the hair. I can see the bigger twist. I can see some of the smaller twists. I like that. Those bigger twists had the little curly ends on them. That gives it a little bit of a Messier look. So I am completely happy be with how this came out, use whatever you have in your stash. If you don't have anything in your stash and you want to do something like this - I only use two packs of hair. So let's talk about the hair milk really quickly, you guys, honestly, you guys I'm gon na keep using it throughout my whole, like when I have my twist in I'll, probably use it on Darren's, hair, Isaiah's hair. We all about to use this hair milk because one I love the way it smells. It is lightweight like it claims. So if you do have fine hair, it's not gon na weigh it down, but it does add moisture I feel like. I need to try this on my wash day so I'll be using this. Whenever I take my twist out re-wash my hair and um, you know probably doing my mini twist again or mini braids, something like that. I'M gon na probably use this again to actually see how it really feels in my hair, because, honestly, I already have products in my hair and although this helped I feel like, maybe I didn't get the full effect of it. It definitely gave me the added moisture that I needed. I see how they made this for those with fine hair um to not weigh your hair down. It totally makes sense, not heavy or greasy at all. The only thing I'm not in love with as much as I love the packaging as much as I love the whole spray to cream formula. I don't like the pump as much because I feel like the product isn't super thin. It got stuck basically, but there are times where I had to do like this or wipe this right here, wipe the nozzle off and then continue spraying I'll, give it a few more tries and see how I feel about it. I don't mind spraying it in my hands, though, and then Distributing it through my hair. That doesn't bother me at all. I think it's Innovative. I think this is also something we don't really see, often the whole like cream to spray formula. But honestly, if I'm being real with you guys, I would like to see them just add a pump to it or have that as an option. For you know two three dollars nothing expensive other than that. You guys. I think that is about it. My hair is nice and refreshed. I have a little bit of oil on my scalp. My twists are good to go. I just laid a bit. I will leave everything that I use today down in the description box so that you will have it and let me know if you have any questions or comments, and I will talk to you guys in my next video bye.
