15 Holiday Outfit Ideas!!! + Slick Back Ponytail Tutorial!

What'S up everyone welcome back to my Channel or, if you're new, welcome in today's video I'm going to be doing part one of a two-part holiday outfit series that I have planned. I have been shopping for weeks. I know it doesn't take much to get me to shop. I'Ve been picking up some new pieces for the holiday season that I want to style. For you guys, this outfit video was going to be a little bit more casual things that you might wear to like. A little holiday dinner, if you're, going out to dinner, going out with your friends and then the next video is going to be fancier with fancier outfits dresses and all those things all of these outfits still are going to be on, like the more dressed up side. There'S no like sweatpants or anything, but these are just more trendy casual, everyday outfits that I already know I'm going to be wearing a ton over the next few months, all winter appropriate, um, cold weather appropriate. This is a really busy time of year. So I know our hair, washing schedules are probably all thrown off and I've been loving doing this like Sleek slickback ponytail. I'Ve actually also been loving, doing a bun, and so I'm going to show you guys how I do my Sleek slickback ponytail um, because I always get asked whenever I show it. So I'm going to show you guys that now all right so for my updo that I've been doing recently, I'm updo, okay, calm down, it's literally just a button. For the past few years, I've only been using tangle, teaser brushes and I'm so excited that they are sponsoring today's video, I think I mentioned them in my last year's gift guide. I mentioned them so many times, they're, really the only brushes I use so on wet hair or in the shower. If I'm brushing like a mask through my hair I'll use the ultimate detangler brush, you can see, there's actually two different levels and what I like is that it flexes over your Tangles and Knots when your hair is wet and the most fragile. This is the one I'm going to be using today. This is the ultimate styler hair brush, and this is amazing for use on dry hair, so on extensions, how the teeth are configured actually allows. Oh, my brush is really dirty. All my hair is up how their teeth are. Configured allows the hair to kind of like snake through the teeth and then somehow in makes it extra shiny. If I'm curling, my hair I'll, go through the curls with this, and it just creates like the most shiny, full, looking hair and it brushes the curls out perfectly. It'S also really gentle on my hair and it's what I use to do my updos. So my hair is extra extra dirty. I love using my tangle teaser, brushes on wet hair, dry hair and especially on dirty hair. When I'm getting my Sleek fun, look, I like either spraying a Pomade or a hairspray on my hair. While I don't spray a Pomade but I'll use a Pomade or a hairspray, I actually can't find my Pomade at the moment. So I'm just going to spray some hairspray and I like starting minding my hair - is like really really dirty. I like, starting by spraying my hair and then I go through with my ultimate styler and kind of brush it back and then I'll take my front pieces out and we're gon na attach these or like pull them back last and we're gon na work on the Back part of my hair, so you can see like I have extensions, and this brush is great at smoothing it all down. I'M just gon na go through and smooth all of the hair down, making sure everything is nice and smooth make sure you also go through and brush your hair first, because if you have knots in your hair, it's going to be all like hard to get it. Nice and smooth and they're very gentle and flexible, so they don't get stuck. If you have extensions, it doesn't pull the on the extensions. So then, after you have like where you want your bun or your ponytail, to go I'll literally go back with this brush and swoop those front pieces in, and I find that there it looks better if there's like a little bit of a wave. But you can like do it straight back whatever you want? Oh, should I do a ponytail or a bun, I'm kind of feeling the pony and I'll keep going over it until it's exactly how I want, and once it's in place I go in with my scrunchie and just put it through. Then I'm gon na go back in with my hairspray or you can go in with a Pomade and I like to work in small sections, and I just use my fingers to kind of like really smooth it down. I'M using an extra hold Hairspray like that. You want like a more flexible look. I would go with a Pomade. If you want a like your hair is not moving. Look, I would go with a hairspray. You kind of like a snatch area here and then have this looking like a mess. So I'll always go through with my brush and make sure that it's all nice and smooth if you're like running late after work, you want to look put together. This is the look that I would do and it always makes you look like super cool super Chic and it looks great with all of the outfits I'm about to show you so I'll leave all of the brushes that I used linked down below my absolute favorite. I feel like a few of these outfits, even if I work like in an office or if I had an office Christmas party would be perfect for that um. My office Christmas party consists of me my sister and Nikki, but I will be wearing one of these outfits to wherever it is okay, so for this first outfit the star of the show really is this top. I was actually shopping on Essence and I came across this brand. I have no, I cannot remember what it was. All I remember was that the top was literally sixteen hundred dollars and I was like absolutely not, but I was mesmerized by these sleeves. It was a sweetheart neckline. I love sweetheart necklines. I find them absolutely stunning, but I love like how dramatic these like little sleeves were. I found a dupe for it on Etsy. I think it was around 40 or 50 bucks, but the quality is amazing and I just love all these details by the way. Look at my new jewelry, it's part of our new holiday collection, these beautiful pearl earrings and then I have it paired with some white leather pants. Now I know a lot of people say: don't wear white after Labor Day, but for me personally I don't listen to anyone. I will wear whatever I want whenever I want and I want you guys to do the same. I want you guys to wear outfits that you feel the best in regardless of what you think your family's gon na say your friends are gon na, say: wear whatever you want, wear whatever makes you happy and right now these white leather pants are making me happy. So these are a Goldie leather pants. These are actually on sale on Revolver right now I will leave the link down below you guys know. I was a big fan of like a die-hard fan of the Molina pants, but these are even more flattering. They feel better. They fit better and they don't have like a weird off-centered button which a lot of the Molina pants do and then, if you didn't want to tuck the top in. It also has a really cool detail here at the bottom, which I think is just so unique. I also got the top in Black. Of course. I think this top is great because there's not something crazy going on, but there is something a little bit special, but the star of the show really is these pants. I just got them in from Abercrombie. They are kind of like half, denim, half leather, pants, so cool. I first saw this style from a Goldie and then I was shopping on Abercrombie, as I always do, and I stumbled upon these pair and I knew they were going to be great, because Abercrombie just creates amazing denim for a great price, make sure to check out. My favorite jeans, video, if you haven't already, but they are so comfortable, they fit so well they're. So flattering they really elongate your leg and I feel like this is a great way. If you don't want to go full leather to kind of like casualize it a little bit, but again, it's just something different that catches your eye and makes your outfit a little bit more unique. This next outfit is an absolute favorite of mine. I just picked it up from Abercrombie and it is this: like satiny silky little suit set. They also have a skirt if you want to dress it up even more, but basically it's this like little button up satiny shirt and then you have matching satin kind of pants. It also comes in another color, I believe blue, but around the holidays. I don't know why I just love a black moment and what's really great about this, is you can dress it up or dress it down? So I have it on with a pair of like really chunky, sneaker loafers, but it also looks really cute with a pair of heels and what's great about this, is that you can wear them together or you can wear them separately. The pants do come in a petite version as well. Overall, it's just a really great set, and it's so soft. It feels like you're wearing pajamas. So if you're not into pants or you wanted to dress it up a little bit more, they actually do have a kind of midi length skirt with a nice slit in the exact same fabric. So you have so many options. They also have mini skirt options, but I think for the holidays, a midi skirt is really classy and beautiful. Okay, you guys look no further. I have found these Superior suit for this holiday season, the suit that will make you look sexy, but super Chic and really flatters your body. Trust me. It is the most flattering outfit you will ever come across. Of course it is from maritzia, so they are the program pants which have a little bit of a flare leg, but they are just so incredibly flattering. They like give you such a nice hourglass shape. The material is really nice and stretchy, so you don't feel constricted at all. It kind of even feels like leggings, and then I have paired it with the Vogue Blazer. So if you are looking for a good Blazer this holiday season, it is the Vogue Blazer femorizia a little bit of a Splurge. All of the details are absolutely perfect. You have your spout shoulders. It is oversized, but not too long a lot of times. If you have an oversized Blazer, it will be 10 feet too long, but it goes to the perfect length. You guys have seen this so many times on my Instagram I've already worn this every chance. I get I've worn it to birthdays. I'Ve worn it to dinners and the color is called Heather Rich cocoa, and it's so amazing because it has black heathered throughout it. So it looks amazing paired with black aritzia also has the color Rich mocha brown, which has a strong purpley eggplant undertone, and I feel like that paired with black looks a little bit off, but this looks Rich. It looks delicious, it is the perfect Blazer and you can wear them both together, of course, or separately, a million different ways. This color looks amazing with a more saturated darker pair of denim. You could even throw this on with lighter creamier colors. If you wanted to brighten it up, it would look amazing with creamy tones. This jacket will look amazing with like a pair of white leather pants. The options are endless. If I want to show you guys, all of them I'd be here forever, but actually that's a cool idea. If I show you like all different combinations, anyways thinking too much, I have it just paired with a little t-shirt from Zara. I like that my stomach is showing, but you can totally throw on a body suit, and then I have it on with a little pair of black heels. So here I paired the blazer with a pair of girlfriend denim jeans. These I got from revolve and they are so incredibly flattering and comfortable in girlfriend denim, I'm a size 26. I feel like they run a little bit small and they do shrink in the wash. So I recommend sizing up. I would wear this for like a cute date night outfit. I love an oversized blazer with a pair of skinny jeans and a cute pair of heels. As it gets colder, I will transition into wearing a pair of booties, but for now I'm still wearing. My little pointed toe heels, but just remember if you're going somewhere, you are allowed to switch your shoes. I used to be a hostess at a restaurant and people switch their shoes all the time. So I'm always talking about these oversized Blazers oversized everything but there's something so beautiful and feminine about a Blazer that is really well fitted. So this one is actually from Zara paired it with this pair of really oversized chocolate brown jeans from Abercrombie. They are the absolute most perfect shade of brown and they are a wide leg, so they look really great with chunky heels, and I love that the Blazer kind of like cinches you in at the smallest part of your waist, and then I threw it on with My platform, Valentino heels, I love how these heels look with really wide legs. I think they complement each other perfectly. I will leave dupes to these Valentino heels down below Steve. Madden has a great dupe a lot of people on Instagram I've seen stylus Blazer without anything underneath which I mean I don't think for, like a family event is appropriately it's not for me. I wouldn't feel comfortable doing that. I feel like if there was another button up here that would be such a cute look. I might go to the tailor and have them just put like a little button up here and then you can see it really like snatches your waist and comments hands. Next I have the same jeans thrown on with this fuzzy houndstooth beigey creamy colored cardigan from naked. I got this last year and have yet to wear it, and I don't know why, because it is so cute and I love how these colors look paired with the Abercrombie Brown jeans. I feel like this is enough that you can really dress up or dress down. You can totally throw it on with a little pair of booties or throw it on with a pair of heels or even sneakers, and it's still a really cute outfit to tie the cardigan and get it to kind of look like this. I did this little hack. I saw on Tick Tock, where you diagonally cross the buttons and, like flip it through itself. I don't know I'll, try to find The Tick Tock and Link it down below, because I think it just makes it into its own little top. It also has a matching little tank top, but I feel like this is a little bit sexier a little bit cuter. This is my holiday, take on jeans with a cute top, so this top is from revolve. It is so incredibly soft. It'S knit has a turtleneck. It is obviously in this delicious color and has this little cut out to make it extremely sexy, add something different to it. This would look really good paired with the first pair of white leather pants. I showed you you can even tuck it into a skirt, but I just have it styled here with a simple pair of blue jeans, and I think that it looks really really cute a little bit more of a casual option, but still really elevated and really pretty. And then I threw it on with a pair of brown heels for this next outfit, I'm stepping out of my comfort zone a little bit. It'S all Abercrombie head to toe Abercrombie. They have some amazing things for this holiday. They even have a lot of dresses, but one of my favorite things from Abercrombie is their knit bodysuits. They are first of all so comfortable, but the way that they're like designed is just so flattering the material kind of like sucks you in Smooths you out. So incredibly, flattering um, and this is like a little bit of a Twist top detail. I'Ve been seeing this kind of top everywhere, it's all over revolve and then these pants are very funky, but I thought they were perfect for the holidays. Nikki said it makes me look like a gingerbread house, and that was the goal of mine. They are in this like really deep red Brown kind of color, but they are like a really shiny leather latex material. They are really comfortable. What'S great about them is that they don't make you sweat, they're, not like latexy feeling on the inside. They feel like just a regular pair of jeans or they're, even more comfortable than jeans, and I feel like they're, just a little bit more elevated, a little bit more special than a regular pair of leather jeans that everyone is wearing. I also have them in like a midnight blue kind of color, but I thought this color was perfect for the holidays and these are in the same style as my 90s fit jeans from Abercrombie, which I already know and love. And, of course, they come in all different lengths as well, and then I just paired them with a little pair of nude heels. This next outfit is one I picked up from Zara. I feel like it's really pretty on its own, but I know this like wouldn't work for some some areas of the world, so it also looks really cute paired with a Blazer, it's just a strapless top. That goes a little bit longer like who am? I never thought I'd be wearing anything that wasn't cropped, but it goes a little bit longer and gives you a really nice shape. It'S incredibly flattering, and then it has matching pants in the same material. The material is really stretchy, really really comfortable and there's a nice slit on the side of the pants. They were a little bit longer to give them a little bit of a chop. It'S okay, the material allows for that or you can get them hemmed and then to kind of spice things up. I threw on these fluffy little heels, which are a really good saleron, dupe to kind of Judge up the outfit but, like I said it also looks really cute with a Blazer kind of just like thrown over your shoulders or you can wear the Blazer. I feel like if you had a fitted Blazer. We would also look really cute, I'm in the market for a fitted Blazer, but it's just a really good base. You can even throw on a long coat. This next dress is a little leather dress from Asos. Just be careful: if you order from Asos from Canada, you will be hit with duties. I had a very specific vision in mind for what I wanted for my brown leather dress. I actually first saw this someone wearing this kind of dress on Instagram and I just had to find it. Hers was like 600. This one was way more affordable from Asos. I wanted to kind of fit like the Remy dress from revolve. I love a Blazer dress that has a belt because it just really like I find like sometimes Blazer dresses can look frumpy, but when there's a belt it really gives you shape. It also has like that slouchy cool girl shoulder moment. One thing about me is that I don't dress for the weather. I dress for what I want to wear that day, and so I did pair it with some knee-high boots. But if you want to wear any high boots in the winter time, just throw on a pair of like nude, sheer tights and then it'll warm up the outfit. I love that the buttons are also Brown. It just really looks seamless us and you could even dress this up even more if you want to just throw on a little pair of like stilettos. I think this would also look really cute with the Valentino heels look. No further. You guys I found the best top for the holidays. Okay, so it is from Zara I just bought it so run. Do not walk. They need to make this top in a billion colors. It has a high neck like turtleneck scrunchy detail, and then it's a satiny black material that has the same scrunchy detail, but wait for it. You guys aren't ready, look at that. Okay, so I didn't do up all the buttons because they take forever look at that bow detail. Look at that bow detail. Look at that top! Excuse me. This is the top for the holiday season. I wore it last night, it was freezing out and I was perfectly old fine. I just want a big black coat and once I was inside like it truly is just a show-stopping top. I love these tops where you look so sexy everyone's. Obviously, looking at you because look at this top, but it's not like your boobs, are out. You know it's a perfect top and then I just threw it on with these um super down jeans, which are my favorite jeans from my ball. I love the wash of them and I've been wearing them the most out of all of my jeans recently, and then I just threw it on with a little pair of black heels, and I think, with a top like this, you need to have your hair up. The back really needs to be the moment. This is also the top for the holidays, or this like little cropped. Blazer thing. I originally got this to wear with a matching little skirt, but the skirt turned out to look like it was part of a lingerie set. It was really not cute and too short, but this Blazer is really cute. Look at the material of that Blazer. It is so sparkly, but not in an obnoxious childish way. It'S kind of in like a Tweed material and just this little sparkly Flex, the Sparkles are actually black. So it's not like silver sparkles. It'S like little shiny black things on it and I just have a pair with the same super down jeans. But this would look really good with a pair of black pants. I'Ve tried it on with black pants. It would look good with a skirt imagine with like a cute little, even like a little leather skirt with tights and a pair of heels, so many different ways. You can wear it, you could wear it open with a bodysuit under which really is the perfect little blazer top for the holidays. And, finally, I'm going to show you guys how to style, knit dresses two different ways, starting with this white creamy one. So, even with knit dresses similar to Blazer dresses, I always like belting them, because I always want to have a nice shape. I don't want it to just be too frumpy too oversized. I like drawing your eye to the smallest part of your waist. I feel like it just adds like a feminine touch to your outfit. This belt is a brown belt from the company. By far I got it on Essence, and then I paired it with these super cute brown knee-high boots from Asos. They are really comfortable. Knee-High boots are a little bit difficult because on me, I'm really short, so sometimes they are just way too long, but I find that Asos actually has really good knee-high boots for short girls, although my calf, it was tight, it was a tight squeeze. I love the white because it's like a creamy winter white, not a stark white. You could also wear this under a Blazer. You could throw a Blazer on top and I think the outfit is really cute alone, but I love it with a long brown jacket. On top, I feel like it just ties everything together and I love the look of a short dress under a long coat, and then this is the second way, I'm styling, it's actually the same dress just in Black. For this I styled it with a pair of opaque black tights. I got from Amazon. I'Ve been loving the look of really opaque tights recently ever since I saw them on Marianna Hewitt, and then I cinch in the waist with a little black belt, and then I kind of dressed up the outfit with my Valentino dupes from lingta Val all right.
