Diy: Reverse Ombre Curls Using Extensions

Hey guys, so today's a really exciting video, at least I think it's exciting, because today, I'm going to show you how to kind of spice up your look and give you that ombre effect with extensions like look at the difference. Did you just see that this is a look that I've really been loving recently? You guys already know when I put in some hair extensions I'd, be feeling myself all the time, but with the darker color and kind of blending it throughout my hair. It just gives a lot more definition and, as you can tell, my hair really does not have a lot of volume at all. So I'm just I love extensions and all that so yeah. If you guys want to see how I did this look and the products that I use, then just keep on watching so to create the curls. I use the professional curling wand by Bombay hair, which I'm obsessed with. I love curling irons and I love when curling irons come with five different wands, so you can choose pick and choose which style you like best for this hair tutorial, because I am using extensions that are 24 inches. I wanted a lot of volume, but I didn't want the curls to be too crazy because there is a lot of hair and I didn't want them to be too loose because then they'll, you know just fall out. The extensions are also from Bombay hair and they are 100 %. Indian remy human hair clip in extensions - and, to be honest, I don't think I've ever owned. Indian drummy human hair clip in extensions before and I love them because they are so thick and I just feel like I don't know, I really really like the texture and the volume of this hair. So I set the curling iron to 430 degrees for this tutorial. It goes up to 450 and it's all digital, so it's really cool and what I really liked about it is when it's ready and the blue turns green. So that's awesome because sometimes you don't actually know when he is set yet and then you end up with uneven curls. So this actually tells you which is awesome. So the color that I have in these extensions are espresso, which is like a very, very dark dark. Rich brown, which is a beautiful color and, like I said before, there are 24 inches. First of all, that is my favorite length of extensions, because it's just such a really pretty very kind of mermaid type. Look, but it's also very important if you do want to try out like an ombre type of look that I'm doing in this video you're gon na want to have longer extensions, so it kind of works with the length of your hair, so 24 inches is the Perfect length for me, and so basically what I did is, I just took the curling iron and I rotated the curls. So one time I curled over the other time I curled under these set of extensions that I got came with two tracks with for weft two tracks, with three wets two tracks with two West's and then two trucks with one left. So I curled them all and then curled my hair as well. Obviously, once my hair was completely done and curled, I took my hairspray that I got from blow Pro. Oh my gosh favorite hairspray ever because it smells so good, but once I was finished curling, it was time to add the extensions. So with this I just sectioned off my hair and I added the tracks with three wets on there. First and I just literally overlaps them with each other, so it kind of totally hid the bottom of my hair once I have both of them in so you can barely really see my natural hair color. So I did that again and brought down quite a bit of my natural hair. When I go to add the tracks with for wefts. I'M gon na go overlap that, but I did bring quite a bit of hair down as you can see, but because I went to overlap it again at that kind of part, it was able to once again hide of my actual hair color to make a more Of like an ombre type, looks so to add more texture and layer to the hair. I went ahead and took the tracks with to West and added one on each side of my head, just to kind of like even out my natural hair color with the extensions and then lastly, at the kind of part of my head. I ended up using the tracks with one left at the very, very top right up, but like right under where my part is and in this video it shows too. But that's just because that's what I filmed, but I ended up switching it because obviously the tune was too big for the top of my head and then lastly, I just took a brush and in this case I just used the extensions brush. But I took that to just brush out all the curls and have them blend evenly together and then I also kind of worked my fingers through it to blend my natural hair, in with the extensions to create this really really really dope. Ombre. Looking look and I'm obsessed with it, I think it's it's a little bit different. You don't normally see, I don't know, maybe you do, but I'm obsessed with this look, I just loved how it all came together. I feel, like my hair kind of looks like it's never-ending, like it's like a dark hole of Awesomeness but anyways, that is it for this hair tutorial, make sure to check out bombay hair, because their extensions are amazing.
