Music: Still Got Time - ZAYN ft. PARTYNEXTDOOR (cover) https://youtu.be/im_DPFpvzaY

Was popping YouTube welcome back to my channel? This is such a highly requested tutorial and I just want to say that I've done a lot of feed-in styles in a tutorial on my channel and my technique never really changes. Only the products that I use based on the clients, hair texture. So in this video I am using Von Teese silk effects, which is a really thick edge control and I'm gon na be coating each side of the clients hair. So I just parted it down the middle and then I'm gon na go ahead and rub bouncy, silk effects on each side and this prevents flyaways and helps to make sure that the braid is super super sweet. You play all the same, a plane so for the feet in braids, I'm gon na start by braiding the clients, natural hair and then I'm taking synthetic hair and I'm adding it in between my pointer and my thumb finger. And then I just continue. Braiding. The hair falls right into place and, yes, I know you guys are not colorblind. She wanted a hint of gluing, her hair, so I was like okay, you cute or whatever, but no seriously. I thought this would be perfect because that way, you guys can see like exactly where I'm adding the hair in because it like contrasts our natural hair color. So, as you guys can see here, I'm just putting it underneath my pointer finger and then I just continue. Braiding and I'm gon na show you guys this a couple times just stop looking for love yeah. You know you still got time. They know you still got time good know. You still got just stop. Looking for love, you still got time. Do you know you still got time? Do you know you still got this so just a couple tips I have on working on, naturally straight hair textures. A lot of you guys have asked me before if I wet their hair - and I personally do not like to work with their hair while it's wet because it gets really stringy and slippery, I prefer to work with it dry and I just use a really thick Edge control like, for example, in this video, I'm using fancy, silk effects or in my box braids on straight hair tutorial, I use emerged edge, wax the extreme hold, and so I just like to use some type of product that makes their hair really tacky and gives Me a better grip and I find when it's wet, it's just slippery for me and it's harder to manage for me. I know for some people it makes a lot easier, but I feel like my braids, come out and meet her when I leave their hair dry. They know I still got time. They know. I still got time just stop. Looking for love, okay, you know you still got time. Okay, you know you still got time good. No, you still got just stop looking for love, you still got a top there. You know you still got time, hey, you know you still got. This could be something if you let it be something don't scare me away. Turning something Zanda, nothing baby already used to the game's faith you play awful when I play this thing, come give it to me a are you can't give it to me play by play. I can tell you bombard all day, cuz you're young. You still got time to always shut side. We'Ve been wasting away. Are you and no matter what you say I'll get that smile gon na? Take you places and then you wan na see some faces start clicking for love. Dino. You still got David still got time. Then we'll be still God just start looking for, we still got the money still got time. Damn I still got time just stop. Looking for love, do you know you still got time yeah, you know you still got time yeah. You know you still got just stop. Looking for love, you still got time there. You know you still got time there. You know you still got. This could be something if you let it be something don't scare me away. Turning something's and nothing baby already used to the game's favor you play awful and I play the same, can't get to me a are you can't give it to me play-by-play. I can tell you bombard our day: cuz you're young. You still got time to always shut time. We'Ve been wasting away. Are you and no matter what you say I'll get that smile gon na? Take you places and then you wan na see some faces, stop clicking full of Deena. I still got time Damon. I still got time game will be stuck I'd, just stop. We still got time. They might still got time. They might still got time. Just stop looking full up. Okay, you know you still got time. They know you still got time good know. You still got just stop looking for love, you still got time there. You know you still got time there. You know you still got. This could be something if you let it be something don't scare me away, turning something sending nothing baby already used to the game. Space, so to finish off this out, I am using mousse to give it an extra hold and lay down all the flyaways, and I let this naturally dry. It does your on its own, so she doesn't need to sit under a dryer anything and then for the excess that's left on there. I just spray it off with a braid Sheen and I just like to use the sewing strip to tie it down. While I'm dipping the ends just to hold everything in place and dipping my hair in hot water just helps to fill the end so that it doesn't unravel. So I go ahead and do that and you just want to be very careful with this step, because the water is boiling hot and this is the finished product. I hope you guys enjoyed this video, make sure you guys will like comment and subscribe and I will catch you guys next time.

Tawwy __: I love the diversity of how you braid all different types of hair textures and demostrate how to braid it

itsbeckybabeh: After reading some comments, I can’t even comprehend... People of ALL color can get their hair braided, straightened, permed, etc. There’s nothing wrong with any color doing anything to their hair, period.

Brixnna •: God bless you for saying "feed in braids on straight hair" instead of "white girl gets braids" god bless you

Kae Garrett: I think the blue is beautiful in her hair

Emily B: That would be so cute for dance team or cheer. Doing it the school colors.

Dani Noe: AMAZING!

Taste of K: I love how defined the braid is omg

Abia.kyarna: this is absolutely gorgeous omfg slay girl wish I could do hair as good as this

Midwest Witch: Thank you for this! My daughter is six and has mostly African American friends at her school. She always wants me to braid her hair and I can NEVER find these styles being done on fine hair in a tutorial. Now I can give my baby what she wants

Beach Life: I'm a white girl and have never used any product on my hair when doing a french braid. it looks like whatever you used will seal it in tight and keep any fly away hairs from popping up. On a side note , crimping white girl hair with a crimping iron will give it tons of poofy texture if you ever want to do a thick, fluffy french braid that stays well without product. great video

Randie Cuch: I am just in awe of how you can work with such small sections. I’m still learning how to do French and Dutch braids on my little girl. Right now she still loves a lot so it’s not perfect and I’m still slow but this video give me motivation to keep learning! Such pretty work! Thank you for sharing.

beth: I appreciate you leaving the hair dry, seems there’s more breakage when the hair is tied tight while wet since when it dries it shrinks up. Also, flyaways are better managed this way as well.

Irene C: I would’ve made a tangled mess out of that . Great job!!

ItsMissBoujee: OMFG so cute girl........ im getting this done for year 10 in september im mixed and have brown hair but im using blonde for mine i hope its gonna look nice cant wait. you have shown me how to do it and it looks simple because other youtubers make it look harder than it is so thank you and i have subscribed :)

Alyssa Kennedy: I absolutely loved this! I’m doing mine this weekend and this was my inspiration!

amjeck: I'm so pleased to see you do this for a white girl too. I'm white and i love braids soooo much . I'm an old lady now but i remember going to 1st grade with two braids. I always felt beautiful and people wanted to touch it. Your technique is so good. My mums passed now but i still like to see young girls of all colors looking their best too.

MrsShawn B.: The easiest method. I feel like I can do this after seeing your technique. Thanks for sharing and keeping it simple!

Catharina Pang: Always do braids on my hair and friends/family, but struggled with fly aways! Thanks for the tips and can’t wait to try it out ☺️ beautiful work sis

Hailey rose: Love this so much I did this on my own not knowing what I was doing it wasn't bad but this is amazing

Monique Wright: I'm glad people on this channel comments aren't as nasty as the ones on Freedom Styles channel when she a Caucasian person's hair.

Melanie Bailey: I've done feed-in braids on naturally straight hair before and water worked great. Because she shampooed her hair a lot and didn't like a lot of product in her hair, water worked just as well. You did a really good job! #skills

Sinndy Morr: Love the pop of color :). I have textured hair and looking to protect my ends when swimming and being outdoors. Had many braids come undone because a stylist thinks hairspray will hold everything together. So happy to see the care that was taken to make the style last

So fresh Family: Girl girl girl u just saved my life I have 3 mixed babies and I’m learning these different hair types and products. Thank you for such vivid videos ❤️❤️

Donkey Days: You make adding hair in seem so easy. I think this particular 2 braid style works well on all people of all hair types and skin tones but I know recently there has been a lot of talk around cultural appropriation when it comes to braids. I do understand the issue is complex and I understand for styles such as cornrows with multiple small braids being and issue, but honestly the single and double braids have been used by lots of different cultures for many, many, many years. As a child almost every girl had the 2 braid style for School most of the time. As an adult I wear my hair in 2 Dutch braids (if that is the correct term - I’m in the U.K. and that’s the common term over here - we’ll actually dutch plaits as we don’t really say braids either) about 90% of the time and have been doing this style in my hair since I was a child. Most days I will either put my braids in when my hair is wet just out the shower and keep it in all day/ overnight and redo in the morning. I don’t even look in a mirror to do this style and could do it with my eyes closed but no way could I manage to add in extra hair, it would come out a big tangled mess! I do braid a little looser than above as my poor scalp couldn’t handle those tight braids. I also avoid product other than a bit of leave in conditioner on the ends. My hair is fine (but looks deceptively thick as I have lots of it according to every hairdresser I’ve ever gone too) it is also naturally curly (and red so think Merida from brave type of hair only slightly flatter at the roots). I do need to redo my hair after 2 days as it starts to look fuzzy and due to the fineness of my hair I need to wash it every 3/4 days anyway. I love this particular style and as much as I would hate to offend anyone but wearing my hair in a particular style I do feel this is my go to style when I don’t want to faff with getting my curls to sit right or go through the process of straightening it. I genuinely would be lost without it.

Em Barela: doing this with my sister soon!! loved this video, incredibly helpful. thank you so much <33

DericahsWorld: Great tutorial! I’ll be trying this out tomorrow on the same hair type, thank you!

Savage Mama Bird: Thank you so much for thia video! I've been wanting to wear my hair in braids like these for so long but after having my daughter it has thinned out a ridiculous amount. I'm dying to try this!

sara kroczyk: It's amazing that you can braid her straight hair so easily. Even when I try doing a simple braid I struggle to hold my hair. There's always a piece that slips out of my hand or the whole braid is just too loose in the end because I can't get a grip on my hair :(

Tassj TheeBombshell: Thank you so much, I have a client with straight hair wanting braids..... well needed ❤️

Lauren Jones: Ive been trying to figure out how to do this on myself for months. So glad i found this video. You explained it so well. Thank you so much !

sarah wass: That's a really beautiful colour blueyou did a great job I'm ok at French plats but would love to do these in both my daughters hair x

Lisseth .M: I’m in LOVE with how it turned out. I envy her hair! That blue definitely is a statement and that touch of blonde just add the perfect dimension I want them now. GREAT job by the way

doreen maggio: I had to return to thank you for this tutorial . I tried to count how many pieces you added and got 14 ? I love the was you began to add the blue and then mixed in the blonde ✨✨ . I recently purchased this in hombre and pastels ✨ and my lovin patient nieces are so excited to have me do this style ✨ Thank you You Have Talent ❤️✨

Adrienne G: Love it! I also love the details about what products to use on straight hair. I've had people ask could I braid their hair (haven't) but I wouldn't have known to use an edge control to make it tacky.

Suzu: I've been sorta scared to get my hair braided because I thought it might be weird. but after watching this i feel a bit more confident.

Cindy Digman: Thank you for the tutorial! I’m going to a festival and would love to do this but I’m horrible at braiding.

Autumn King-Roberts: I love how you added it in. My 6year old loves having yarn braided in like her cousins but her hair is nothing like theirs. She got fine hair from somewhere...going to tuck it under the index next time! It is the little tricks that make life easier.

Stephie Hell Yeah: This is SO PRETTY! YouTube popped this in my feed and I’m glad! Have you tried the Aquage styling line for working with finer hair textures? My go to was a medium to high hold styling wax vs a gel so it “plumps” the hair up. Gorgeous work! Thank you for sharing!

Amanda Rose: This is so neat and pretty ahhhh I’m obsessed. I will use these pointers for future reference. Thank you (:

Blazed_Baby420: Looks great girl! Love all your videos <3

Jasmine Peck: It’s so pretty I want my hair braided like this

TheMkChannel: Thank you for having videos like these since I’m also a braider! As a white girl ive always wanted to do braids like I do on my friends but I’m always afraid of hate or being judge yanno.

Rachel Carbajal: Never thought about applying anything to hair, or dipping the ends!! I love the blue in her hair. Great video!

PatienceV: Love the blue color you added so beautiful! I’m thinking of getting some hair and attempting this on myself!

Aimee Clementine: This is the best tutorial I’ve seen on YouTube! Thank you so much!!

Chanty Pal: Thanks girl I was able to do my own hair, and it was easy as 1 2 3. Ur the best dont stop doing the talent that God gave you.

Riley Yetley: UGGGHHH Thank you so much for making this video I keep my little girls hair braided cause she hates brushing her long hair and this way we don't have to do it every single day Do you have any tips on keeping the hair at the ends from tangling up when braiding it dry? I always struggle with keeping that from happening cause her hair is very long

Sherita Pressley: I like the blue and it helped to see exactly how you placed it in the braid. Nice braiding!!!!

AmyKnits: This is so pretty! Pink would look good, too!

Nomadic Niecy: WOW YOU DID AN AMAZING JOB! I love your content and video quality. keep it up sis

DreamsRemorse: This is pretty - really pretty. I'd get my hair done like that, I've wanted braids like that for a long time. Now though, with how some people are, I'm nervous to do it. Plus I don't know where to go or who is good/bad/ect. It's really lovely.

Ieisha Andrews: Lol I think I’m the only one just slightly bothered that the blue in her hair and the blue on her nails are different. Anyway I love the outcome and can’t wait to try this on my own later.❤️

brazy ricaan: ALL HAIR TYPES IS GORGEOUS don’t listen to them haters

Maya Noel: Good video! As a stylists we see many types of hair! And...COLOR infused cornrows are definitely starting to trend! I just had a client who is a boxer telling me the other girls at the gym wanted this look!

kitthe cat: I love the face lift braids give a girl when we get them! Lol thanks for the tutorial!

caitlyn: I want her to braid my hair so baddddd

Liz Does Videos: Yay! Now I can maybe have a braid that lasts longer than a day

Do fish have boobs?: I really want my hair braided like this but without the feed in. I would dye my hair first for a pop of color. That does look very cute though. The end result is awesome. This hairstyle works for so many people!

vanillacarnivore: Awesome. Thanks for sharing that cream. I use Cantu on my girl's hair but I wanted to try something else. I don't like braiding her hair wet because I feel it breaks or gets a weird smell if she is sweaty.

Jadag187: this is so perfect imagine that you helped me a lot I will try this method ! In my country even in Brussels im trying to find someone who can braid me like that !!! !!

Shadowsight: Thank you so much! Beautiful job!

Žana Leitinger: Hey :) I LOOOOVEEEE your tutorial! Can't wait to try it out on my sister ;) I have a question tho, how much synthetic hair should i get for such a hair do? Do i need more synthetic hair if i'm doing 4 or 5 braids? :) Thanks! <3

Sara’s Channel: i would love this on my hair. you did a gorgeous job❤️

Curtis Loew: Its hard to learn to work with such a different hair type than what you're used to, so that's really cool that you're so good at it :) great video thanks. I'll try some edge gel, I was always afraid it wouldn't workwithy hair type but I'll give this brand a try

Genesa Bryley: Thank you for this video, it is very helpful. I was also wondering how do you know how much hair bundles you'll need to do this type of hair style? Also is there something else someone could use to make sure the hair stays smooth but doesn't look greasy? Thank you again.

Ataahua Lousi: This was the most helpful video I’ve found, thank you for sharing this

Brianna Dawson: I love these braids !!! I just feel like my forehead too big sometimes so I’m so insecure about some hair styles on me ☹️

HaydeecantaDios.: Great job!! Love it!!

Lana León: I love how it looks!!!

findinglydiag: Your work is beautiful. I wish I could braid like you, my daughter loves them and I only can do it if it is in a pony tail. I practiced for months and it just gets bad over time with Dutch braiding or anything I try for the whole head.

Tæ Tæ: I love your braiding skills on different kinds of hair

Morgan Milton: I had crochets! I’m glad to see white girls doing stuff like this and I appreciate the people who do our hair

Grace Garcia: This showed me so many things I can incorporate with my daughter’s hair. Her hair is this texture but curly and I have been (mistakenly) trying and failing to get a good Dutch braid while it’s wet.

GhettoGurl Gii: thanks for making this video i have pin straight hair but i’ve only ever learned how to braid on curlier hair textures (2a-4c) i can’t wait to learn how to do my own hair texture

Fran Nicole: I love it...looks so pretty

Susan Baldwin: Thank you so much for this tutorial as I have asked this question for ages to myself

Heather Contois: This is great, thank you. I am curious if anything like this can be done on a small childs hair. My 4yo loves to get her hair done and braids are her favorite.

Jenna Martin: I would love to have my hair done!!!

Sita Schiøtz: Wsh i could braid like that on myself it's so pretty!

mercedes corral: Girl you slayed that!! Looks so good.

The cultist gaming: At first I was like "ehh.." but it actually looks super cool!! Would be cool with jet black and red or something :)

wangxian888(◍•ᴗ•◍): her hair looks so fricking good wow! love the blue ❤❤ good choice. it looks great xo

R V: THANK YOU! Awesome video. Beautiful color!

Diamond Shine: I absolutely love the color in her hair if I were to get this style I would get purple

Whispering Willow: Thank you for this I love it! Been trying to find new ways to do my hair at Powwow's since I'm not great at Kokum braids and not fond of how they frame my face.

anatipa taka: Girl you are bomb asf with teaching, i learnt just by watching video twice...thank you so much xxx

Chi Gemini: The trick to grabbing slippery hair is to use a little non sticky gel and water. Comb it from root to tip when it dries and that gives the hair texture. Used to do this at Pivot Point. Bc if you aren't a pro, using edge control just leaves it a stringy and greasy mess

Jailiz lifeee: Wow you add the fake hair in so easy I’m totally going to try this even tho my hair is super curly . Her hair is so beautiful and I loved how the hairstyle came out

Namchu Cohen: I have the same texture hair and never thought of using edge control when I braid it... will try it !

Baujwow: Thank you for sharing your beautiful skills!!!❤️❤️❤️
