#NoCornRowsCrochetBraids #NoCornRowsCrochetBoxBraids

Before we get started, I'm going to show you everything you need for this look. I want to thank D petrest for sending me out this hair. They send me a packs of this free tres box braids. I receive four packs of the 1b and four packs of the 27, and I use all of the packs you're also going to need some got to be glue and a a crochet hook, guys welcome back I'm back with another hair tutorial. So before we get started, go hit that subscribe button if you are watching and yeah, so let's get started okay, so this method is for those who I have people who watch my hair tutorials that I know personally and they're always like. Ok will teach me another method, because I can't get that method. So this is another method that I am going to show that I found out that works and I believe it works better with people with thin and short hair, and then it also works better. If the crochet is one of the thicker ones, the braid is bigger. So this method isn't for everybody, but I feel that as though it will be helpful for some people and it does work and because I'm wearing it right now and I have no problem rocking it this way. So let me go ahead and get started and show you how to do this method. As you see, I have individual braids you're going to croak go through the middle of the braid like so then you're going to hook the crochet braid onto the hook. So after you hook it on to the hook, you want to close the hook and then bring it through your braid, and then you want to hook the end of the braid and bring it through the loop so bring the end of the break through the hoop. So you can tie in a knot like so so that is what it looks like so far. The next step is to use the gel you prefer, but I think you should use got to be glue. It is a gel and this gel works very very well. It lasts all day and I've had this hairstyle for a week. Now, I'm just now finishing it up and mines have not came unraveled. So you learn, take that's a big gym or got to be glue, so you want to be generous with the the jail make sure you have a lot and you want to take the braids and coat it. So if your hair is not a braid and it's just out because it's too short to braid or whatever you prefer not to braid it, you just want to coat all the hair with the jail. So is my braiding I'll code. It so once you've done that. You just want to wrap the hair around the top of the braid, like you're, creating the night that you see once you when you do box braids, so you just wrap it around the braid and there you have it. This got to be gel is going to keep that hair wrap. It is not going to come unravel because that's how strong it is, so you don't have to worry about it coming unravel. So this is a easy method to do. For those who can't French braid, who wants to wear singles without the cornrows, I think this method is very good because it just looks like the knot that you would automatically have if you had singles and braided for hair. Naturally, so I'm going to do another one to show you guys again the method, so I'm gon na pull this one out. So I'll. Do this one and you just stick it through the middle of the braid hook, the crochet on then close the latch and pull it through the braid. So you create a knot with the braid and it should look like this. So then, you're gon na grab your guys to be jail and put a generous amount once of the braid and then you're going to wrap it around the top of the braid to create that not look that the braid should have, and there you go there. You have it so my hair is not naturally thin, but I am relaxed, so it appears that my hair is thin. So even if you have thicker hair, which my hair is thicker at the top right here, it still looks good and natural. So I love this method. I just say here and thought of it because, like I said, I receive requests to think of another method for those who can't French braids and still want to wear the single look. But I do have the back crocheted in. I just wanted to show this method at the top, but yes, so if you have any questions or if you have any thoughts about this method, there are positive, no negative comments, just leave them below. Thank you guys for watching next on my next video bye,

mis montora: Never seen this before! Getting ready to put some crochet braids in and will be doing like this cause my hair is short anyways. thx gurl...

Veronica M Harvey: This is easier than crocheting the braid thru the braid. I like this

Briana: All these videos I just watched about individual crochet braids and yours is BY FAR the easiest, simplest, fastest and makes the most sense.. Wrap your hair around the top! I would've never come up with that! Genuis

Missy Smith: You just made my day!!! I was sitting here trying to pull my locs through crochet hook...can you say PAINFUL this worked perfectly

Si Del: My step mom taught me this method four years ago! I've been searching for years on how to make the braids stay in place. I never thought to use gel to hold the braids in place. I never use gel. I'm so happy to know I'm not the only using this method! Love the video girl! Do one on how you apply your eyeliner

Golden Jayy: Omg I give you props girl, because this looks so difficult and I have no patience lol I would’ve done one braid and stopped but they are incredibly cute!! I need this in my life! I’ve heard that this is really great protective style to grow out your hair! Much love babes❤️

Angela Robinson: Thank you so much. I have alopecia in the front of my head and have been trying to figure out a way to do this without cornrows. You just made my life so much easier. ❤️❤️

J S: I loveee this idea! I’ve been considering doing box braids on myself for the very first time, but I’m scared it’s going to turn out a mess and I’m also not thrilled by the idea of spending hours braiding, especially with my 1 year old running around, so I decided to search crochet braids. This is such a good concept, but my hair is a lot longer than yours so idk if the whole wrapping it around would work out for me, or if it’ll just end up looking like giant balls of hair at the roots. Also, I live in Westchester , NY so paying someone to do them for me would be at least $160 #thestruggle

Traveling Boss: Thank you so much finally a way i can do my own braids!❤

avon young: It looks great!! I have very short hair in the back and bad tendinitis so this technique will be perfect thank you for this video!

Tracie Alexander: Love this twist! I used a very similar method about 20 years ago when semi-micro braiding my hair to allow the hair to fall loosely (unbraided) and not have to worry about blending my natural hair which was shoulder length. Most did not recognize I was actually rocking braids because the base was undetectable. Didn't have Got 2 Be back then so I used another method to keep the hair from unraveling. I have been thinking about doing this method again and you have dropped a time saver!!
