Not a transition girly, not a tick, tock girly, i'm a youtube, i'm a youtube! You guys know that hi guys welcome back to the vlog. It is a truly diy spirited day today i have a hair appointment tomorrow and i am going somewhere new and trying a new kind of extension, which i am very excited about. I just finished a workout, so i am looking rough right now and i have some like violent roots up here if you can see, but i have to take my own extensions out uh because new extensions tomorrow, so these extensions coming out now and i've taken my Own tape and extensions out before um i was able to just like order some remover online and they came out so easily so extensions. Coming out today, gon na wash my hair, there are very few things that feel better than being able to scrub your entire scalp. When you don't have extensions in oh, my god, it feels insane. So that is the plan for today i have a dinner to go to tonight. So i'll, probably just do like a low, sleeky, bun or whatever, because obviously, as soon as you remove extensions, you just feel like your hair feels so thin, because i've been so used to having like this much hair mentally. The process is a little rough because you just feel like wildly sad after, but i'm going like 24 hours without extensions, and you know what i probably most likely will survive and it's gon na be totally fine, okay, so extensions coming out. I think i've showed you guys this before, but like these really bright pieces here, obviously extensions and then like this is my hair here. So it's about the same length, but extensions are so so so so good for obviously like adding volume adding length. But my favorite thing is just that, like i'm able to be so much blonder with extensions without having to fry the out of my hair, i've never taken this many extensions out and like i have obviously like rows at the back here, and i don't do any Of them kind of like in this area here, because i wear my hair up so often, but here we go. Let'S do this, it's gon na be fine, we're gon na figure it out. This is a diy moment to the max and i have obviously been training for this through making crafts, okay they're out - oh god, oh god. This part always makes me so sad when you put your hair down to realize how little hair you have the oh, my god, why is the hardest part of this process? Getting this clip out of my hair? Ah, oh, not bad, not bad! At all, wow! I thought this was gon na be much much worse. Um did i get all of them, i'm almost like. Are we sure, there's not some left in here, because it still feels like not bad wow? I think it also helps that it's curled, like i feel like curled hair, always gives you so much more volume um, but there's the hair with no extensions, i'm so excited to like wash this part of the back of my head. Oh, my god, i ended up swapping the tape remover um for just alcohol, that my hair girl told me that i could use also, obviously uh do this at your own risk. I'M sure there's going to be extension artists coming in the comments for me, but i want to show you how much fallout is on the extensions like within the tape so that you can kind of see what it looks like in terms of just like natural hair Loss: okay, let me if i can zoom in here. Okay, can you see i feel like it's me in focus? Still, can you see, can you see so there's just like a few pieces of hair that are from natural, follow in your hair, get sandwiched in between um these two pieces? So if you remove them very gently and you don't tug at them while they're in your hair, they can be a great alternative for other types of extensions, and i have done almost every extension aside from the one that i'm trying tomorrow. So it has been an adventure. You can also reuse these if you take care of them um, which is not my plan, but i am just going to set them aside. Okay, so excited to wash my hair. That was the best shower of my entire life. Oh, my god, i did a scalp scrub, just like focusing on like this area back here. Oh, i am refreshed. I did forget to brush my eyelashes out, though, so maybe i have to go back and do that because it's looking a little crazy okay. So i'm still letting my hair air dry. I'Ve got some emails to do it is monday today and i'm assuming that i'll be in the salon chair for most of tomorrow, not entirely sure um, but gon na get some work done and just let this air dry and um wow. What a relief feeling good about the hair that i have left just like absolutely crisis averted. I think i've showed you guys this before um, but this is my lunch today. So i do this meal program called macro plate um. This is not sponsored, but i think i do have a referral code i'll put in the description box. If i do, but essentially it gives you all like the nutrition information and um the meals are so fire. I'Ve done so many of these different meal plans, but this is by far the best one um so back on this now that i'm back from canada, because i've been eating like this every single day and by i mean these are the best cookies in the entire World, oh my god from brady's bakery the basic cookie. Oh my god, it's like funfetti remy! If you're watching this, you absolutely need to try cookie. If you have not already, because i know that you will love it. Also, i'm watching her vlog right now, hey good morning guys it is officially hair day. I just got to the salon. Here is the uh post sleep and post workout hair this morning? I'M ready to have my extensions back, i'm ready to be a little blonder. It'S time for these roots to go, oh god, what's happening, okay, letting is not great. Okay, we're gon na work on that, even though i'm feeling, like obviously like thin and not as blonde without my extensions, i feel like i'm really lucky and that i still have like a lot of length. So it's not like i take my extensions out and i'm like yeah well bam. It means you take good care of your hair. Oh my god, that's so nice literally, i was taking my extensions out yesterday and i was like. Please don't have a lot of follow and it's like so like nice to see just like a few little natural pieces of follow because it can be so heartbreaking. Okay, here's the before here we go before before the sides, i'm kind of crouching. So here's the back! Oh god, i worked out legs yesterday, okay, here we go the back and the signs and i think we're doing 22 inches. What do you think my hair is like? Is this what like, naturally, how long do you think this is so your natural hair? It'S probably like 16 or so, but we're gon na, take it down here, but we're gon na make it really really really thick too yeah. Also guys this is casey hi, i feel like you should intro yourself so that i don't miss anything hi. I'M kesley welch a celebrity hair, stylist owner of the casey welch method, a luxury hair extension company and we are going to be doing it doing sew-in, silk. Wefts today, the most amazing beautiful, blended, very, very natural blonde color for you and you're going to love it. I'M so excited yeah wow, the type type - oh, my god, it kind of looks like i have bangs right now, like the most insane little bangs happening right here. What a look? Okay, so we're starting the first layer um i've got my assistant coming soon too to help vlogs. Here'S what's happening right now. I also just filmed a tech talk, um that'll, be on casey's page, not a transition; girly, not a tick. Tock girly, i'm a youtube. I'M a youtube. You guys know that so my transition game was very stressful. Oh look at my little bun. This is literally my hairstyle circa 2019.. Okay, we've got one weft and we're like one row. We'Ve got one more to go literally. Look how much hair there already is. This is what i feel like i had when i had the tape ins and then like this is only the bottom chunk and i've got all this happening. Oh a gon na have hair okay, oh my god a whole new. I have so much hair. Okay, like i know i know there are so many comments. There were so many replies to my story. Being like. Oh, you don't need extensions totally agree. I don't need extensions but like like with extensions wow. I feel so blonde like this. Is the brightest i think i've ever had my blonde be able to be, and like the blowout too, looked so good when it was just kind of straight with like the round brush ends famous last words, but i think that i might be able to pull that Off as well too at home um, but damn damn it looks so good. So we did two rows again, just like at the base of my neck, basically um, and it goes literally from like here all the way around to here so like. Obviously i can get so much more hair attached to my head than just doing individual, like beads or buns, or tape ins, a hundred percent, the move for extensions, wow wow, oh my god, hi guys. I am home um and the hair is still being hair. Doing its thing, i'm so happy, i'm so happy! I want to give you guys the rundown of these extensions, because i've tried so many different kinds. I'Ve done bead bond tape in and this is the casey welch method. I'M gon na leave all of her socials linked in the description box. Essentially she has uh hair techs who are certified to do her method. I think they're all over north america, so that will be on her website link in the description um. But i feel, like you guys, saw already what's happening but like this is this is just such a good blend. Oh my god, like you, have to look so close. I feel like to see what's happening up here, which is incredible. Um, i've just got too many photos that look like this, and so i'm excited to not have to deal with that anymore. So, no matter what extension type you do, um. The first, like few days, are always like, obviously like tight against your scalp because, like they're installed as close as possible um, because that's how it's supposed to be done. So obviously it's tight and i feel like i have like a small mini facelift which i'm not mad about, but so far so good i'd say. The bead extensions are probably the most uncomfortable just like overall, but then also on like install day they're. Just like such a hard piece of like hardware against your head um, so these lay super flat and i'll. Give you guys a review once i sleep on them tonight, but i think fingers crossed everything is going to be great wow, just so much hair. This is great timing, because i'm in my little spinny chair, so we can do a 360.. I'M also excited to even just sleep on this tonight and let it fall a little bit um, and this is one of the other great things about extensions is that they hold a style and a curl so much better than my natural hair. In turn, i end up styling my hair way less and i'm able to just wash my hair once a week which has been incredible for keeping my hair healthy okay, so i'm going to put all the back, so you can see it and, like also, i haven't Seen it from the back, so i'm excited to watch this this clip back, so i can see it as well too. Okay, ready we're gon na do a spin. Hopefully it stays focused on me no promises but fingers crossed here's the back. What bam i mean i could knock a out like i have so much hair. It'S like it's a little heavy! Okay! That'S that's it! That'S the herb! Wow can't stop touching. I need to stop touching it wow this. These pieces right here are so bright and blonde. Wow wow wow all right guys. I am going to end in the vlog. I hope you enjoyed coming along for my hair journey of the last 24 hours. Um i've got other fun vlogs coming up this week, i have new merch coming out february 14th. I'M very excited um. There may or may not be a new plushie dropping february 14th. I'Ve kept it a really big secret until right now um. So if you stayed until the end of the vlog, you got the juiciest piece of the vlog merch launch tea. Um hope you guys enjoyed the video. I will see you guys in the next one. Bye, guys, love you, you

Victoria Jackson: Your hair looks amazing and so beautiful on you I love it! I also just wanted to let you know that Sew ins were actually created by women of color, and it’s nice of kacey to expand on ways to do it for different ethnicity’s, but I just wouldn’t call it the “Kacey Method” specifically because it wasn’t originated by her. Definitely do research on the topic and don’t just take my word for it though, and thank you for taking us with you on this fun day!

WincingAtWindmills: Had sew-in weaves for about 10 years and my number one aftercare tip is to leave a good few weeks between taking them out and getting new ones! Obviously different as I have coily hair but it’ll prevent breakage & reduce likelihood of tension headaches. Hair looks phenomenal!!

Breezy C: Lol all the black girls know about sew ins, I am not sure if it is her method considering you can go into any black hair salon and get sew ins. She is doing what the black community has bees doing with weaves for well over 20 years. I think you are AMAZING ! Keep shining! I do not mean any disrespect but it seems like your stylist went to the black community and learned how to do a sew in and now call it her method. Your stylist is obviously very talented. She should add another component to her technique and educate her base about weaves and how to maintain the extensions. I do wonder if your extensions are going to slip because your natural hair is thin and not textured, causing them to slip, but maybe that’s where the wax you mentioned comes in. Be very careful with drying the weft completely. Follow up in a month and let us know how you like them.

Ashley C: I love how the hair stylist calls it her method but really black people know it’s a weave. We done been getting weaves since day….. but let me mind my business

Camri Taylor: Your hair looks beautiful but I’m really shocked at Kacey Welch’s assertion that this is an extension process she created. Weaves were created by a Christina Jenkins, a black woman, in the 40’s and has been predominantly used on black women since it’s creation. Her passing off sew ins as her own creation is really gross. I don’t think you were aware of any of this beforehand, at least I hope you weren’t. But this woman stole this technique and frankly it’s really disgusting.

Brandy_2228: I love having clients coming in to get their extensions redone they always so happy and absolutely love the scalp scrub once we’ve taken them all out. And I know that people don’t need them but if you worked in a salon you’d understand that to some clients it means everything and some can’t even go a day or night without their extensions.

Kim Do: i don't think you understand how powerful you would be with mid length hair with layers and an ash brown balayage that brings out your natural hair color

Sydney Reynolds: be careful with how often you get them re done, giving you hair breaks in between sew ins and move ups, i can’t stress how important this is! i lost a ton of natural hair due to sew in problems

Serena Barry: Love your hair Lauren but I will say as a Black fan I am disappointed that you did not at all acknowledge that this sew in method was originated by the Black community. It’s just funny to see weaves become mainstream now!

Eilonwy Quinn: You should 100% wear your hair straight more often! It looks soooooo good!!

clairemk: As someone who has really thick hair it’s always funny to me when people want it bc to me it’s such a hassle lol but your hair looks so cute and I’m glad you are happy with it!! ❤️

Peter Wall: HANDS DOWN THE BEST UR HAIR HAS EVER LOOKED ! sorry but im a hairdress and that got me hyped lol , could never understand why the hair didnt look thicker and it was coz there was non on the sides but this way m, girl game changer u look IncredIable

Julia Eileen: I think it would be great to do a main channel vid addressing what you've learned about sew ins and the black community after you see the comments and do some research! That's what we all love about you. Side note, can anyone explain what she means by not washing the back of her scalp? Like can you not wash your scalp where the extensions are at all while they're in?? That sounds horrible especially for someone dealing with psoriasis.

Sophia Brace: I also have 22" sew in extensions they are my favorite! looks amazing on you! everyone should get extensions if you want more or longer hair it makes me feel so much more confident and happy throughout the day highly recommend!

Hesed: I loved getting sewn in extensions, especially after postpartum hair loss! It looks so natural and you just get a thicker fuller look. They are also super easy on maintenance.

PerfectPinkiePants: The hair looked so good straight! Also love it curly of course, but the straight long hair is so elegant and chic.

Sandra Newman: Honestly your hair looks amazing with these new extensions, I’ve actually been thinking about extensions more for volume because my natural hair is already 22in long, also I’m obsessed with this blonde you have

Championgirl246: This is probably a dumb question. Does Jeremy run his hands through your hair? If so have the extensions ever caused problems or gotten tangled?

Peyton🔞 𝔽**СК МЕ - СНЕℂ𝕂 𝕄𝕐 Рℝ𝟘𝔽𝕀𝕃Е💛: be careful with how often you get them re done, giving you hair breaks in between sew ins and move ups, i can’t stress how important this is! i lost a ton of natural hair due to sew in problems

Haleynguyn: I love how Lauren is trying to show us the back of her hair but can’t stop flipping her hair or touching it

M K: I love the end results!! And how thick the hair looks. I used to get tapes for fullness and I loved it....until I noticed just how much they always ripped hair out. Now I get like sections sewn in with links instead it's just better for no glue personally.

Charmaine Jensen: Your extensions look beautiful and love ❤ the color blend.

CassandraLee ♡: As a fellow brunette bleached blonde, I love when you do hair videos, I always love the results!! Being a blondie definitely suits you ‍♀️✨ Please please please can you do a hair routine on how to keep your psoriasis in check and your hair staying blonde ❤️

Megan ✨ Tαρ мє t0 ѕєχ ω!тн мє 🔞: Had sew-in weaves for about 10 years and my number one aftercare tip is to leave a good few weeks between taking them out and getting new ones! Obviously different as I have coily hair but it’ll prevent breakage & reduce likelihood of tension headaches. Hair looks phenomenal!!

MonicaAlexsandra: I loved the straight blowout ! Looks beautiful

mlayne130: Just be careful. I got sew in IBE extensions in September, I’ve only gotten them moved up twice Monday I had them removed all together because I thought my scalp needed a break and now I have literally no hair. I have naturally thin and fine hair, so I guess the weight of the extensions was too much and it was taking my real hair out without me even knowing. I don’t even have enough hair to put into a ponytail right now, that’s how bad it is- and I went to an AMAZING hair stylist who is certified and she does a beautiful job. It’s just some of us with my hair type can’t handle it Now I’m literally looking at wigs to buy because I’m so self conscious about my hair right koe

Samantha Collado: Your hair look so good and slaying the game honey !!

Jayda Cassanova: Your hair looks so good!

Cely Aguilar: Loved the new hair. I'm thinking about getting extensions and I really thought about the sew-in ones. But it's a process to really think about.

Tinkle Me 4 [S]E.X: be careful with how often you get them re done, giving you hair breaks in between sew ins and move ups, i can’t stress how important this is! i lost a ton of natural hair due to sew in problems

Lindsay Lee: Hair looks so good!

jada davis: watching the process, it looked intimidating but it came out so well omg !!

NATE (MR BLUE)🔵: Hey Lauren you're hair looks really good ❤️

⚡️TheFlashVibes⚡️: Looks fab Lauren ! ❤️

Kanesha: Girl I love sew ins. Less breakage and lasts longer

SimplyShellaby: Wow!!! The hair looks amazing!!!!!

Bonnie Yarbrough: Wow! Your hair looks amazing Lauren ❤️ So Pretty!!

Alyssa Acchione: Your new hair looks so good ❤️❤️❤️

Jrxdan: IT LOOKS SOOOO GOODDD!!!

nin: GIRL I had sew in wefts last year (never had extensions before that) and they were BOMB but I only lasted like 4 months w them on because my scalp was SUFFERINGGG lmao hair washing day was the worst I hated having to try to get between the wefts and my hair was so damn heavy when it was wet. they were amazing at first but at some point I just had to pull the plug bc I could not deal lol beauty is pain!!

SuperShek: Loving the new hair

Sussy- 🔥𝐆𝐨 𝐓𝐨 𝐌𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥 [𝐋!𝐯𝐞]🔞: Had sew-in weaves for about 10 years and my number one aftercare tip is to leave a good few weeks between taking them out and getting new ones! Twiggle Downtown: I love the new hair girlie!

Mary Frail: I would LOVE to see Lauren go a week without hair extensions!!!! I think it would be very interesting how she went about it and different hairstyles and IF IF she could actually do it….there’s so many reasons why this would be iconic and maybe at the end she would realize she didn’t need them ?!?!?!?

❄️I’mJustWaveyy❄️: I love your videos so much and your hair turned out so pretty

Kristen Leblond: It looks beautiful.

Krista 💋 I WANT SЕХ 🔞 F Uc_k me: This is probably a dumb question. Does Jeremy run his hands through your hair? If so have the extensions ever caused problems or gotten tangled?

Legendary Cartoonz: I Love the new hair :)

Mary Frail: Obviously I love Lauren’s curly hair but seeing it straight again I think she should change it up between curly and straight

LexeyBeSmiling: I am obsessed! Holy moly it looks SO good!

Gina Scott: looks so good!!!

GSXR BABE: Hey girl love the new hair update us on how your hair handle's the sew in

Nika Hatt: You should look into invisible bead extensions!

Bre W: i have a question, what if you dont take out the extentions, what will happen to your hair?? On another note, love your vids and i love your jordans collection <3

Forevafaith Channel: Always wanted to try! Due to stress and hormone imbalance my hair has thinned out. But I used to have a problem of always having a headache from my “thick” hair being so heavy. Does it have that same effect?

Celina Jailene: You make me feel more thankful for my thicc hair bc I always get it thinned out at the salon plus I have an under cut and it’s still SO MUCH HAIR

Dylan Sousa: Lauren keep up the great work

Kymber Denevi: I appreciate that you aren’t fake and try to say that the hair is yours! So refreshing!

Linda Peterson: BEAUTIFUL! ! ❤

Ellie Fiorino: Ahh love your videos and you are so beautiful! You also have amazing hair girl.

Kaylene Harbert: You are absolutely gorgeous darling! ❤️

Evaaa: She looks AMAZING omg look beautiful extensions or not ! Inside and out !!!!!

Mary Frail: I loved her without the extensions!!!! But I haven’t seen the ending product yet ‍♀️

Mary Frail: Wish we could’ve seen a Jeremy reaction!

🙃avery🙃: your amazing girl!

jess: i love your hair so much!!

Isabella Duque: you should try whispier lashes they would look amazing with your eyes!!!

It's Kate: Her hair actually looks better natural! It has like poof and she can throw it wherever and not have to worry about the tape. But these new extensions look great too!

Sheila Combs: Love the hair

alexandra milne: Can you please do an updated on the maintance of this and how it feels etc x

e m i l y: the first part was low key giving me quarantine vibes. throwback to laurdiy’s ratchet salon

Christian Walker: Girl, that lady did not invent that “method”. Another appropriator

Melanie Jane Procter: Looks amazing Laura so Beautiful XX

Delilah Louise: luv it ✨

Rachel: wait but her hair looks so good without them too the way she talked about it always saying she doesn't have hair I was not expecting it to be so long

Mackenzie Taylor: IF YOU HAVE CURLY HAIR! And you straighten your hair everyday, these extentions aren't for you. I already went down this road and it was hell!

TheAskyra: I wonder what something like this costs?

nybsbfan18: Looks good, Laur.

Cassie Coffin: my hair has never gotten to the length i want so i’ve wanted to get extensions for so long but haven’t been able to. i don’t think there’s really anywhere near me that does it

Joslyn Herrera: Casey Welch method ? Idk I love you Lauren but kinda hate this … this is a sew in that black woman have been getting all there lives. Kind of cringe that she is making this a “method” like it’s new and innovative but has been done millions of time in my own culture. Glad you tried it though hair looks great

jess: what happens if you don’t take extensions out? just a curious girl

Natasha West: Laur, "I mean I could knock a bitch out." Whos the most baddie of them all?

storiesinthedust: Can’t wait for the exclusive new ugly Keith plushies!!!!

Freya Meersman: I was really hoping for a Mia reaction on the hair

PurpleVanilla: Any tips for scalp health? I don’t have extensions, have not bleached my hair in a year, wash my hair like 5 times a week. My scalp is both oily and dry and sometimes my scalp on the back of my head just straight up hurts

rachann: You’re making me want extensions but I can’t commit

Heather Olson: Lauren love the video but I think we can All agree that we need more moose content thank you very much

Kat W-G: No shade, just an honest hairstylist here... But I think you’ve finally found the perfect stylist for your hair needs. Not saying your old stylist doesn’t do beautiful work. But we all have our own strengths and weaknesses. Your hair is GORGEOUS!

Maia Tanase: i still have to get used to the intro without the vlogmas interruptions LMAO

Kamesha Williams: Sis got her a sew in with leave out

Urša Trentelj: Loool... Never considered myself lucky for having strong and thick hair, now I guess I do bcz I don't need or want extensions I always get annoyed with my hair bcz curls falls down so fast and it's sooo annoying and sad

Katyayani: okay i forgot how pretty straight hair lauren wass

Mira: A NEW PLUSHIE!?!❤️❤️ i need it.
