Hello guys welcome back to my channel, so I'm finally showing you guys today my most requested tutorial, which is the box braids over dreadlock. So I posted this last year the same for a couple of weeks ago, and I got a lot of responses. The picture actually went viral and a lot of you requested in tutorial on how the style was achieved. So today I'm gon na be showing you guys how to do box braids on dreadlocks. So the first thing you want to do is to apply your shine and jam and you're just gon na apply it on a lock thing: you're just gon na twist it just like how you read Swiss dreadlocks on to make it look neater, other roots and you're. Just gon na take your extension hair for the size she's getting about a small medium to medium size, so you're just gon na cream. It up just like how you do regular box as you break down you to make sure you're breathing as tight as possible. You make sure you are talking in the dread love under the attention hair. So it's not sticking out trust me guys. This was a challenge, but it's definitely can be done, as you can see, takes a lot of patience. So take your time no rush, you know make sure it looks natural as possible. Of course it's not gon na look as smooth as Oh straight sand. Hair boy can still look as natural as possible and then, when I got to the middle, because the dress in the middle was extremely thick, so I'm just hiding more hair to make it to give it more room. For me to hide the locks under to prevent the locks from sticking out of the extension hair, as you can see, you can at least tell the lock is under the braids. So you're, just gon na keep repeating the same process as we did in the bag and trap we're done. I'M braiding you're, just gon na train the hair. You can use a scissors, you can use a lighter, whichever one is easy for you. I prefer the lighter because it makes it faster and I also trim it as much as possible boy you're good with scissors. It really doesn't matter which ever one you use. So when you don't train me, you're, just gon na apply your moves to reduce any frizziness and you're gon na put it in hot water to see what the hang things make. It look as natural as possible and you're just gon na blow dry it to dry out the water, and you can moisturize it with your oil and Sheen and you can lay them baby hair and it's ready. Ursula Makibelo: Guys, please please don't do this. Especially if you're on a longer dreadlocks journey. The pressure of the hairpiece on your dreads does so much damage. In now about a year into damage control after box braid thinned out my hair to the point where some of them started to break. Of course if you have thicker locs, the pressure shouldn't thin them out to the point where they break, but they'll still come out noticeably thinner.
