How To Relieve Pain From Tight Sew-Ins And Braids Live | Lemonade Braids

Hey everybody is too hot Elena, here back with a new video, I've been gone for a very long time and I have a great reason why I'm gon na tell you guys why, in an upcoming video as soon as I get some free time, but I have Some very special and exciting news that I would love to share with you guys soon, but I had to come in with an impromptu live video. This is my friend say: hey ty and sis had the lemonade braids. Well, she hates cotton lemonade. Braids she's my friend from school and she got her hair braided yesterday and they are entirely too tight. I just wanted to show her scalp here. Do you guys see like her scalp, where it's like bubbling it's too tight, so she has been in a lot of pain, a lot of discomfort. So I wanted to show you guys this video, to give you guys some really quick tip quick tips and tricks onto how to relieve the pain. So in this case, as you guys can see, her braids are really close together. So, in order to get relief, this is what I did so get you guys a spray bottle. You get these from anywhere like Walmart Dollar Tree. Any ones fill these with ice and fill it with water, shake it up till it gets cold and literally spray. Your scalp, all in between the braids that gives it instant relief, the temperature of the water being cold, is really good for soothing the scalp and relieving it because the tension is irritating the scalp so much that the cold water is going to help relieve it and Also, what we did we went to the store and we got some tea tree oil. Now these you can get these from Walmart. You get these from Dollar Tree anywhere, and then you put this in the loops. Put this in the freezer. Okay, put it in the fridge, put it in the freezer for about 20-30 minutes, put it in the refrigerator for about 30 45 minutes, let it get ice-cold and it has a little tip. I wish I could show you guys hold on to me: stop it. Okay, yeah, so if you guys see how little this is, this can get right in between her braids and she said it feels really good right but see. Usually I would go in hold this time. I would go in with like my finger, but, as you can see, is so tight. So what I did I get the back of tweezers that I cannot find. Where are the tweezers yeah? I just had it. This is loud y'all. This is life. I know I just had them, I don't know so. Take the back of tweezers. Take this part good things put the tweezers and then take the tweezers and rub the oil from side to side. She said this feels really good too. So take the oil rub it in between the braids and soothing and then I'm gon na do that over here. I have to be really careful because she's really sensitive over here, so you see where it's bubbling up and it's like you can literally see the tension. This is just braided way way way too tight, so I'm gon na do that for all of these angles, I'm just gon na rub it in and then at the end I'm gon na go in with this softer coconut oil. Also, you can get this from Walmart dotted with Dollar Tree any beauty, supply store and just I'm just gon na smooth it in and then massage it in her scalp to give her some relief. So hopefully she says she's feeling better already. Hopefully we can get her good to go. Cuz, charlie is in a lot of pain and we have classes tomorrow we got to relieve her and it's supposed to last for a while cuz, you know law school info coming to my next video, but in in here with this lemonade, braid style. This is where you're gon na have to get the tweezers in the oil in the most to really get to this scalp, because this is where it's like coming out. So we're gon na do that. We'Re gon na finish, watching power study a little bit and then we're gon na get her taken care of, but if you're sewing honestly but guys, sometimes if your sewing is just that tight, it's just better just to cut it out, because you don't want your tension. Alopecia to start doing it or traction alopecia, I'm in where you're literally gon na lose hair, and once that hair is gone, it's not coming back. So sometimes it's just better to cut out the braids cut out the so in so that you know you keep your hair so we're gon na, and I'm asked also gon na loosen the braids, I'm gon na pull them and loosen them a little bit to give Her some relief, so thank you guys so much for tuning into this video like comment and subscribe to, follow me on Twitter. thekingtye: Hey everyone, I'm the girl who got this painful hairstyle. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GET IT! That style is not worth the pain or cost. Amina's tips definitely worked as much as they could, but of course the hairstyle was wayyyy too painful for me to feel any long lasting comfort. The pain actually lasted about 2 weeks into me having the hairstyle. When I did take out the hair, I had a small bald spot that developed and I did treat it, which has grown back since. But please if you do get this style please find a stylist that does not feel that they need to grip your soul to have a nice style.

2 Hot Atlanta: P.S.- I ended up having to take out her bottom two braids because they were THAT tight and we just ended up trimming and shaping up her “kitchen” to make it look neat! She actually did end up getting a small bald spot on her right temple lobe (where you guys saw how tight it was) but thankfully it has grown back in since I posted this video! Thank God

Mary Sutton: You're right sometimes its best to take out the braids.

sayaa: i got lemonade braids one time and the braids were wayyyyy too tight !! the beginning of the braid started on the left side of my head and it was lots of tension . i complained a lot and i had to take them out the next day . i realized that the hair on the left side was way thinner than the right side . so if uu have really tight braids, for the sake of uur hair nd uur comfort, just take them out

M. Mills: Just got my hair done and the lady braided my hair all the way to the skin at the back of my head... My shit is on fire. I will NEVER go to that lady again....

None of yo business Periodt: Last time I got my hair done by this lady it was a style that would last like a month so the time to take them out comes and I had 3 bald spots 2 really big ones and one medium sized one and then I ended up getting a style that last 2 weeks by a different lady and my bald spots grew back after a few weeks
