Your name or Marc, Leishman hi - this is Diana, I'm here with another youtube video. This one is actually going to be a hair tutorial um. This video is about how I get my braids so close to the scalp vibrates. I mean single braids, and this is how I did it you're going to have little flyaways like this eye straight here. It'S I usually happens for people who have straight hair. What I'm gon na do is just lay a little mousse on it to make it lay down. Some people cut them off. I don't do that because you basically cut into person's hair off. So I just put hope said if you don't have most gel works. Thank you. Thank you for watching like subscribe comment. Tell me how you would have done it tell me if you like my method to me. If you don't don't be mean and uh thanks for watching

Laurettabeauty4ever: That's exactly how I do my braiding technique! I'm going to try and do my own braids! Wish me luck

Lona Peter: Thank you so much you have finally taught me how to braid the extension in tight, without it falling out I appreciate it so much.

Daniella Michel: I love your method and this was very helpful! Thank you!

luvfunnyflix: When I first started to box braid my own hair I used this method. I always made my parts long so the bird can be started it off as a cornrow. But over the years I've noticed this tacks the hair down allowing it's to only look "right" in the direction you braided it in. I love experimenting with styles and when I would do my buns the braids in the back and sides would never lay flat like I wanted them to. So I began to make my parts a bit smaller and grab all the of hair at once at the beginning of the braid. That way it can freely go in whatever direction you wanted it too without being tied down in a cornrow. You should try it oh. Hope this helps.

Barb Bennie: Prefect! You explained this so well! Thank you!

Monique Wright: I love it fast, cute ,simple and yet stylish!

Elizabeth Houston: THANK YOU!! You just taught my mother how to braid individuals

Ex Jw Talk Therapy And Support: I believe that you did a good job in explaining it. I have some braids to do tomorrow. I was online looking for tips and this will help out for tomorrow. The only thing is if you are concerned about promoting healthy hair, we would have to let the client know that it would be a good ideal to wear their hair down towards the scalp until the hair starts to loosen on the scalp. this will prevent breakage. Or maybe low ponytails or buns.

Tassia Clement: If you twist the fly aways around the extension individually as you go along then there would be less to worry about. I find that the mouse or gel leaves the braid itself flakey. Thanks for the video I love how you do the roots

Che' Che': This is a great video! ☺ please don't take it down. its simple and short and that's just what some ppl are looking for to get started and not be intimidated to learn how to braid. thx for posting! ! !

Martha Carrillo: Aside from the negative comments, I think you did a really great job. We all learn more everytime we do hair but your approach as to showing how your technique was pretty good. We all have different methods and different taste but I think yours came out beautiful!

Nichole Baker: I love box braids just did my hair!

Rose Medina: I love this I been wanting to do this hairstyle

Hair ika: I have never seen this technique before and I really like the outcome. I was up until 3am doing a extension braid install for my friend recently and she loved it but she had work early the next day. Do you have any advice to improve timing but to also still work neatly? Thank you again for sharing

ivore chanel: awesome job thanks for inspiring me to do a new technique

Stacy Spencer: girl you did a great job

kimberly arnold: my hair locks quickly in braids. this is an awesome anti lock technique. very nice!

Nakayla Renee: Omg this helped so much!! Thank you!!

DeSean Herself: awesome job, these are really nice:)

Chichi: how long did it take? and how many packs did you use?

sharon roshell: Instead of using mousse afterwards, you may want to add the mousse in that area while your braiding and braid little slower and tighter make sure you keep the pattern constant. . I found this way is better cause once the hair began to get old, it's going to pop rt back out. Over all I think you did a GREAT JOB! PEACE AND BLESSING!

patricia lawson: U really did help me a lot.....thanks so much

Emily Simone: loving the method ! looks like I can duplicate that

james adams: If you tuck the hair under the extension braid as much as you can with the gel before braid it will stick to extension hair, and when you dip the hair in hot water it will look smooth and professional. But you did a good job!!

Debra Ford: Very nice I'm going to wear that style thanks

N S: This is the best braid tutorial. Simplicity.

kyriaki p: Very nice! But in the end of the braid you just use an elastic band to safe ?

T.: I like your videos. I have a question. When I take down my singles, my real hair gets very nodded, I loss a bit of hair each time. Is there something for that?

limajah lee: You have to show us what you did with the strands before you braided them in

Jasmyne Lockridge: So are you splitting your weave in two before u attach it ?

Bobbie Robinson: Omg your box braids are too pretty hello

Mearzze: Cool I like the video but next time could u say how you separated the extension. And a good way for the person to not have flyaway sis if they wash the hair then blow dry it, that way the hair is full and still have that kinky curl to it then the hair won't stick up

brianca davis: Super helpful

S Grant: How did you start the braid?

Ri Ri: Can anyone help me? I want to get box braid extensions pretty soon but my question is how long can you leave these on? Also from experience what are the steps you have to take to maintain the hair underneath? One more thing, will I be able to do cute things with my braids like put it in like a half up ponytail? Sorry for all these questions but I need answers and hopefully someone with experience can maybe help me out now before I go get them done?

kat: i love it

Marqueta S: How many bags of hair do you usually use?

TheBiggestBrat: loving the method maybe u can do my hair this year

Carmen Monteiro: I have never put on extensions by twisting my natural hair first then braid the hair. I think that way takes less trauma and pulling on your own hair. I cant wsit to try it thanks

katerina marcelin: I was wondering if after section info off hair for your braid, if u part the hair into 3 pieces and then braid the hair

Laura Pires: i loved the finish product however i couldnt see how you started the camera wasnt positioned right. but thank you for this

Brianna Brown: I loved it

Love Reflection: Great Job!

Deborah Alves: it worked and it can out better then i expected thanx

Violet Gem: You braid very good...just that i would have frayed the ends to get a not so blunt tip and started plating underhand to get a tighter braid...Good job though!!

Shesbeauty90: I have always wondered what I could do to smooth those fly aways down . Mousse is the trick, thanks what kind of mousse do u use?

Cailan J. Garrett: Good job!!!

Mariah Hector: I got poetic justice before but mine was I little bigger

TheYouraten: How did you start the braid off, did you section the hair off in 3 pieces or wrap the braid hair around one section of hair

Neekie Neek: love it !

Kalani Voner: Pretty! !! Arch the parts next time so I it can fall more gracefully

Jazmine Scott: These came out really nice. How many packs of hair did you use?

Precious Hardy: I still have no idea how to do it..next explain each step. How much hair for each braid? What kind of hair do u recommend? What were u doing when twisted the hair with your fingers before u started the braid? How do you incorporate the weave and the real hair at the scalp?

Mikelah Kimberly: I would’ve loved to have seen how to attach the weave, the braids are nice btw though.❣️

KaitJustAte: You know she was bored lol. Over there playing with that hand sanitizer. XD

katia eugene: What Weave Did You Use?

Young. Fly: How do u prepare the braids

Nelson Rivas: No esas mujeres van solas haciendo esos peinados muy bonito!!!

danissia spann: it my first time doing box and I am going to use your way

Karter Karee: love the tattoo 420 friendly!

Tabitha Rose Freeman: What's the big secret? Holding your hands out of range seemed intentional, most ppl wanna know how to hold the extension hair and how to grip the roots and that's coincidentally the only part not shown ‍♀️

Renesha Askin: I love box braids but it be hurting when its done and it be heavy somtimes

VogueDollRose: Loving the videos

Rosalind Dankra: I love IT

Laney1126: I like it :)

Tatiana: U actually did good, u three strand braid which keeps the hair from sliding at the scalp!! Then u just kinda french braided it down a tiny bit lol.. but because your doin three stranded lock in u dont have to further french braid down the scalp (until u run out of hair on the scalp if u kno what i mean lol) either way it looks great, the knot isnt all bulky which is what i hate with box braids.. and ur style of braiding doesnt matter, a braid is a braid no matter how u do it! Stay encouraged and tell the haters ur obviously makin money with YOUR style of braiding!! ☑

Sianne D'souza: hey can someone educate me, im lost. i want box braids but already have medium length straight hair and will be getting extensions that are gonna be attached to my hair (micro loops), can i still do box braids??

Golden: i love the video and you have beautiful skin

Zakiera Grandberry: Had a clue ; Helped a little :)

The Mrs.: so what did you do to the weave before you started braiding?

Sunchild: how many packs of hair did that take?

TD D: How could anyone learn anything from this tutorial when the camera wasn't even showing what you were doing?!

Caitlyn Melton: omg!!!!!! I love it

Edmeeka Williams: HOW MANY PACKS  OF HAIR DID U USE?

Jabria Hudson: I think did good keep up the good work

Tiffany Johnson: I like your box braids

Ladyjlpn: Do you have another video where you actually show how you hook the fake hair onto the hair root

BriStackx: when I go to start the braid it's never this neat and close to the scalp :(

Munni DBest: Didn't see how you prepare the extensions before braiding.... The camera was 'off' a bit
