This style is more natural looking than sewing in hair tracks. I absolutely LOVE the fact that the hair looks like its coming right out of the scalp.
You can do everything with this hair including, wash, flat iron, hot curl ....etc.
However, this braid pattern limits you to bangs, a side part, and a ponytail. for a more versatile style part the hair in 4 sections and braid in a circular pattern.....
This particular video is extra long because I added hair cutting and included photos.

A good question would be: why is this video 20 minutes long? Well, a long story, I wanted to basically give you guys the full gist of it. All I put the cut at the end of the video. Well, I got to tell you something. Unfortunately, the video is bad quality, because when I recorded it on my cell phone, I had to upload it on YouTube and when I uploaded on YouTube, it's uploaded in a 140 quality. You know and it should have been a 1080 anyway. I don't know how to fix it. I was very disappointed because I spent hours on her hair anyway, so here I am actually speeded the video up a little bit. You know actually a lot because I just wanted to get it under at least 30 minutes. I don't even know if you guys have the patience to watch it all, but it's very thorough. You know it's the crochet leave I like to call it strand by strand, because that's exactly what it is. It'S like a hair implant. Here we strand by strand, as you can see right here, I got the back done on the bottom, looks really good. I'M cutting the hair because now I'm about to do the bangs and don't worry, don't worry, um halfway through the video you'll figure out. If you don't already know, you'll figure out how I crocheted the hair and then excuse me and then I did a triple knot. A double knot in some places - I should say anyway, there's my opening and I'm putting the hair through. Then I'm going to twist the loop around and I'm going to do it again at least three times, and I forgot to mention the back of the hair. The pieces of hair are a little bit thicker than the front. For obvious reasons. You know you don't want your hair on the front to look too bulky, so use thin pieces like like in strands of air coming out of your scalp. Okay, I'm so sad about the quality cut. Okay, I'm taking the crochet needle putting it under, and this is a regular size needle I'm putting the hair around it. Closing the latch and opening the loop and I'm going to take a strand of hair, put it through the loop and repeat it twice: pull it tight and then take little teeny pieces of hair from each strand and knot. It make a knot, I'm going to knot. It twice and that's just so: your hair will not slip off your cornrow, taking my latch hook, placing it under the corner, roll put the hair and close the point. The latch hook, one two and three times, pull it tight and take a strand or two or three from each piece of hair and make a knot. That'S secure! That is not coming off. Look at my daughter, she's, so beautiful, and these are the bang. So the hair is a lot shorter. I am so sorry about the background noise. I have a houseful, but I just no like to share my little hair secrets with everybody. I hope that this video is convenient and you actually get something from it. But if you do please, let me know in the comment section of the video, and so you basically can get the concept right: you're, basically taking the electric placing under the braid pulling the loop through put the hair through one piece of the loop: okay nevermind. I'M going to be quiet just for a minute. I am still thirsty and as I narrate this, I'm watching the video and it is going really fast and believe me. I cannot talk this fast, but if you keep watching, I slow the video down in certain segments. So that you can actually get something out of it, because it's too fast for some people, so I don't expect everyone to latch on latch on and get it that John quickly close enough under there. Okay we're coming up to the slow part. I believe it's so beautiful. It looks so natural. You cannot tell that it is crochet weave. Look at that. That is gorgeous. It looks like it's coming out of the scalp. I mean. How fabulous is that whoo? That'S a little shaky. I hope you don't get too dizzy, but that's only this part. Okay. I know you're wondering about those side grades, but I have a side part just in case she wants to stick her hair over see the side, part half a side part, but initially initially she wanted bangs, so she's going to get a hairstyle with bangs place of Latch hook under the corn row look at me turn her head around. She has to be used to it been doing. It said she was a little girl place, the hair on the hook close the hook and pull it through the corn roll. Take the hair, pull it through turn the loop turn it again, pull it through and tighten then take and split that hair into four pieces and take two of the pieces and double or triple knot it whatever you feel more secure with you know, was crazy. How every time I sit down and do some narration, I never have water and I always say I'm thirsty, you know what we're going to get through this and I guarantee you won't be disappointed so watch the entire video were speed up, because I really want you To see the end results so beautiful, you see she's helping me she's, holding two of the pizzas. While I take the other two thin pieces and tie them in a double knot until you want your edges, the hair on the edges to be thin as well. So it can look like it's coming out of your scalp okay. You know those copyright laws, I'm losing my voice, so it'd be quiet for a second wow. That looks so good. Don'T you agree that looks really good. It looks natural and I'm not going to lie to you. This style take a long time because of course, you're doing it strand by strand add more long pieces to her side open that loop. Take that one piece pull it through turn a loop pull it back through turn the loop and pull it back through that's three times and take a piece of hair from one of the sides. Another push your hair for the other side and shake a knot, see she's, so helpful. She'S holding the hair, just like mommy, taught her when she was a little girl interesting when she was a little girl. She used to have all type of beautiful, cornrow hairstyles. Okay, you can't really see what's going on, I'm sure taking that way through turn, it pull it through turn it again, okay and believe me. At this point I was tired. It took everything in me to finish her hair because I kept wanting to quit, like oh, my gosh, no imagine strand by strand, but it is worth it because this hair is so natural looking and it acts as your real hair. So you can wash it you can flat iron, you can hot curl it. You can do all type of styles. You can wear a ponytail, no one will ever know you can wear bangs and a side part. This hairstyle was definitely worth it. She loved it um. She likes the 80s style, sometimes she's such a free spirit that uh yeah. She wanted the bangs and stuff. But of course, a week later, she flat ironed everything and cut it again. Yeah and I guess there's a okay, but you know what I'm going to put a photo of how she wears it flat iron. Look at that the finished product - that is a lot of hair, okay, cutting her Bay, and that is a razor I'm just cutting the hair with a razor, giving it some nice layers. I, like body, I like layers, you know - and this is kind of different for her because she likes straight so I could hear kind of straight. You know, but you know I told her you're into the 80s.
