How To: Dye And Ombre Hair Extensions At Home!

Hey everybody welcome back to my channel. I am so excited that you guys are here today, because I have a special guest as you can see, edits, Ashley everyone and you guys, know Ashley's my hair stylist. She cuts my hair. She won't raise my hair and she makes it look freakin, amazing, all the time. Ah, thanks generally, she is amazing, but today is a very special day because she's gon na be here showing us some awesome tips and what are they well today, we'll be showing you guys, five easy tips on how to ombre your hair extensions at home. Awesome. Let'S get started so first, we have to prep her station by laying down some aluminum foil so that you can color your extensions and it cleans controlled environment. And what I like to do is I like to clip the extensions into the foil so that you can have more control and manageability. I like to prep my extensions with a Moroccan oil treatment, because it helps keep the integrity of the hair, while you're lifting the color out of it. It'S a argan oil and some essential oils. You want to put it through away you're. Actually, you need to mix your light now, so what I like to do is I use blonder viola. I find it's a very good powder Lightner. It kind of cancels out kind of gracia unwanted brassy tones because it has a blue base to it. So I take one scoop and I mix put that in the ball and then you can use either measure your Lightner or what I do is I usually eye it up. Have it like a yogurt like texture, basically, depending on what level you're wanting to go, you want to use a higher developer. So, for instance, these extensions are quite dark and you want to go to your like a level. 7 8 sit up. So the next step is, I like to go from the top and I'll place my hand down here, so that it doesn't slide all over and play. I pick up the sections because I want it to be a little bit more natural to going up towards the top and then I'll just kind of weave it through with my comb and then from there. You want to start in from about the middle of the length of the hair and just push it up with your comb. You want to highlight underneath the back combing, because the back combing is going to create a seamless section. So now you just want to place the foil slightly underneath where you want to, and then you just a start. By doing this, both sides make sure it's evenly saturated. You can either fold it up or you can place another foil on top, so the next tip is we're going towards the bottom now, because I want it to be a little bit more sullen or more of a true ombre. Look, I'm not going to leave it! I'M going to push it up like that, one two, that's a two to three times it's good and then I'm going to start from here down. So I'm going to so now that we've processed for about 45 minutes, or so you can see that this color has lifted. That'S pretty much as far as we're going to lift today, because the hair is so dark for now we're going to wash this color out. All right so now that we've washed it out and we've dried it. You can see that we've got an ombre. Look to the extension. I find extensions blend way more when they're curled, but it's really up to you, though, on your personal step, it's ready to go all right guys.
