Beautiful people welcome back I'm doing a tutorial on how to do highlights featuring Lumiere virgin hair. They sent me four bundles of 24 inches in a 20 inch lace, frontal with some lashes and a neck. These are the four bundles here and they look great. If I do say so, myself they're thick they're full and they are true to limp. So here is a 20 inch frontal. I'M not a big fan of the frontal and I'll tell you guys why a little later, but it is a body wave and the density of the frontal is pretty nice. I'M gon na go and tweeze it and bleach off-camera and it's gon na be super super easy because, as you see, it's not too dense just showing you guys hear that the bundles do not shed and are really nice and full at the ends. So I love that so for highlights, and lowlights you're gon na want to make the job easy. So therefore, you want to make sure you prep and it's how you're gon na prep your bundles you're gon na unravel your weft like so and keep it folded into two layers. So that's it's folded into two layers and we're gon na go ahead and use rubber bands to keep the weft in place. Excuse the ashy hand job I've been busy washing bundles cleaning up the freakin place. Oh yeah, I kind of put on lotion for the video, but you know I wasn't thinking about that. I was trying to get the content out to you guys, so you go ahead and you use your verb and to keep the rest in place. You just think big sections, so you can add about five more, and so you have something like this. I don't know over bands, one two, three four slides like six or bands on it just keep them in place. This is gon na really help out. When you start doing the color process, so now you get your clips and you go ahead and lay your west towards the end of your tray or whatever you're using. And then you pick out your low light. So I'm going home picking up my low light and I'm gon na proceeds of color. So this is like a demo. I actually already have colored most of the bundles already, but I wanted to show you my process because I forgot to put it on camera or I just I don't know I lost the footage. So you just pick out your pieces and then you apply your highlight here, I'm using a 30 volume and I applied it. There then I place boils on once the writing was applied. I placed coils on it. Put that up, let it incubate. Then I place my low-light right on top of that boom and you can add your 20 volume here. Let that fit in incubate and then go ahead and check it and make sure it's good. Now. You'Re scared is the first time you never done color before you. Never know how it's in low lights, you can do this technique. I didn't finish my color before so I rinsed it out and I'm trying to finish it up here. So you could do the same thing. Do the first set rinse that out and then go back and do your second set. So this is my second set using the 30 volume and I'm gon na, let that sit for a while until I see the color that I want. I wanted a high light and low light type look, but I didn't have 20 volume because I never had the right products, but I shoot a video and I'm too lazy to go and leave the house and drive all the way in traffic, just the freaking store. So I figured if I put c30 volume in and rent it out fast enough, it wouldn't catch up to the other one, but it kind of did so ever you see my video, it's not like a big prominent difference between me highlights and lowlights. So word of advice: please make sure you get your 20 volume or 10 volume for your low light and get your 30 volume for your yet do a 10 volume for low light and a 34 high light you'll see a nice difference. I'Ll give you a nice tone, so I didn't do a video on how I mix the lightener, but of course, you're gon na need bleach and developer okay and we're gon na mix it to a nice yogurt type, consistency, nice and liquidy. You don't want it to be thick because it won't stature a evenly and make sure you go in and smooth it with your fingers. If you don't think the lightener lifted high enough, I mean the color lifted high enough and always check your bundles to make sure that it's lightening properly and also make sure that it's evenly distributed. And I just fold it back and forth. Because the work is kind of long and I do the same process, take off my clips and go ahead and pick out my light colors once that's done, go ahead and add your Lightner to your lowlights like so, and if you had a 10 volume, you wouldn't Be trying to rush like I am right now, because it's so it's a 30 volume, I'm trying to hurry up and get it in there, because it's already lightening them. If you can't see it, but underneath they're already getting light like literally I don't have time. So don't be like me and do things wrong 10 volume for your low light 30 for your highlight boom and try to do all that one process, not this whole rinse it out and then go back and do the low light, because I feel like it's a Waste of time, but if you're a beginner then definitely definitely definitely do it like this. So here are the final results. As you can see, it didn't really make a difference. I do see some of the lowlights in there, but it's not a dramatic difference so but yeah, it's still nice mice, blondish color. Okay, so I did shampoo the bundles with a shimmer light shampoo. Let it sit for like five minutes with that shampoo rinsed it out and then use a toner with a 20 volume. I use the Weller t 15 with the 20 volume developer. Let me show you what the weather thing looks like. It looks like this and it's the T, 15 put the information description box below now. To this frontal I do not like their frontal for one bit like the thing is shedding like crazy. I'Ve never had a frontal shed so much like this, like put my hands through it and the hair is falling out. I'M very disappointed in this because I haven't even put any lighter on it yet, but we must continue the process. Excuse me, my sides in the background: let's color this front off, so we're doing, highlights and lowlights you've got to get some fools to do this. You can get it from Sally's or you can make your own cut your own folders up to you. Of course, you know I'm using 30 volume is all I have at home, but for you guys, please go ahead and do the right thing and start off using your 30 volume as your highlight and then you're gon na go in with your 10 volume. So here I'm doing my highlights first, so I'm just painting that in with my 30 volume and I'm filing it in and I'm gon na part it again and there's gon na be our low-light we're gon na leave it alone. So gon na go away and do our highlight again get your foil and paint that color or Lightner sorry onto that hair strand, like so make sure it's a liquid consistency, not too thick, so we can saturate evenly and you'll be good to go. So just follow this technique up the head strand and just do the highlights first. So I'm going to do this processor gets a recenter of the head and then what I get to do Center, I'm going to stop and start from the bottom of the left side and work my way up to the center, so they all meet to the center. So you work from outside inward. That makes sense, so I'm only gon na record one side because obviously you know what's done something left and what's I'm sorry right side will be done to the left side, so we're not gon na waste time doing the same thing. Over and over cuz we get boring to watch so I'm going to go ahead and proceed to finish this part up and then move on to our low-light yeah honey. So we're done with the highlight I'm gon na go ahead and take care of these pieces that we have left out. So these our our low lights. But of course you will be using a what stay with me. Girls, 10 volume developer, even maybe a 5. You don't even want it to be that bright, because we want it to be a low light. Now, unfortunately, you know your girl only had a 30 volume, and I thought if I let the foil sit with the first thing that will be lighter than the ones I have here, because I'm gon na have to put this in. But no it's just rules. Are there for a reason and just do what you need to do so it didn't quite work out now. You do see the different tones once I was oh, my sister's hair, but it wasn't as prominent as we would have liked it to be so get the right products. Ladies and don't be lazy, get out the house go to the store and get your necessities, but yeah this brushing the lightning through the lowlights as fast as I can so that way, I can rinse it out before everything catches up to each other. So once you're done with their low-light, you definitely want to go back in and look at your highlight find out. What'S going on like what's the business and as you see there's a lot of business going on, you got to make sure that it's evenly saturated. So I went ahead and dropped my foils and I applied some more Lightner. So that way we can take care of those blotchy spots, because that is not to honey and that it's not professional-looking. That'S it really once you do that, cuz it folds back in and let it incubate some more. So after a while, you got everything and you get your highlight and low-light. It should look something like this or maybe even better, but you definitely difference between the highlight and the low-light like it didn't catch up that fast. But when I go quickly rinse this out, so we have these different tones and comb. This frontal this goddamn look at that down frontal, like I put all this effort in through this darn color and the funnels are shedding like friggin. It'S terrible, it's terrible stay tuned, guys, don't go nowhere, because I'm going to show you how to install the lace front which is coming up next. Thank y'all for watching, don't forget to rate comment. Subscribe.

Jennifer Jonah: Great little but very helpful tips!

MsBluSpot: You did a beautiful color job. And I know how you feel about the shedding that happens when the mfg has over acid dipped the wig. And we know the wont take a return. One way to protect against it is to treat it with a sealer first and wash. Then at least you will know what's up ! Best.

Merveille Abi: I wish you showed us what products you used after bleaching the hair. I want to know how you get your hair flawless like that again without it being dry and frizzy

2muchhair: amazing video. looking forward to see more from you in 2018

Paige Mulla: How long did you leave the toner one for? After you bleached the hair did you wash it then tone? And did you leave the shampoo in the hair for a while before rinsing it out

dre KE: So pretty

ADA MEDICAL WIGS: Great job it looks good but l just wanted to share a tip with you. Before you do anything with your closures or frontals spray it clear enamel matte at lease three times letting it dry in between it will prevent shedding

D T: It looks amazing, how long would you say to leave the 10 vol and 30 vol on the hair?

Kourtney Nicole: 10 volume doesn’t lift color it only deposits color. 20 volume and higher developers lift color.

June Medford: Wish we could do the same technique with a wig when I add highlights its so hard to go back and separate the hair to bleach a 2nd time. Do you have a technique for a wig

Onlyonyoutube: Her hair is beautiful but before somebody destroy their hair I wish you could have done a better detailed video

Army Barbie: I need this color omg

Bryana Rose: I have a question so I’m dying like highlights into my black wig , so after I bleach it to like a blinding color I wash it out then let it dry and then I can go ahead and color it ?

Tamia Tay: what type of bleach did you use?

Rebecca Campbell Spaulding: Hello love! I have a wig that im Working with. It was done for me and I just dont think its for me. A beautician lightened it for me. So there is a lot of blonde highlites. Now the problem is I need more brown. Im dark and it just doesnt suit me. I just love the unit itself but it needs some work. How do I add ore brown highlites to the unit??THX

June Medford: Omg how did you fix the frontal with all that shedding

Jesus Loves: Thanks for the tutorial. -Jesus loves you

Tianna Spence: I brought a closure from this company and it she'd like crazy when I first got it and washed/bleached it but after installing I have not had anymore shedding with it. My unit is holding up but my only concern is that it's really thick to the point where a part doesn't stay in place, it had a smell when I first got it and took a while to get to me, as well as it not holding a curl how I wanted. I just ended up cutting it into a bang unit and it hold nicely.
